For a while now I’ve been trying to capture a decent shot of the brillante orange plumage of a Kea in flight. It’s proven tricky with these intelligent parrots appearing to deliberately wait for 20 minutes until I give up, then moving. Fortunately today though I finally outwitted them by playing Kea calls through a speaker.
