Wekiva Springs 2020, Formerly known as Sanlando Springs 1930-1970. Privately owned and operated recreation area and park once open to the public for an entrance fee, sold in 1970’s and converted into a private residential development known as “The Springs”.

Second Picture is one of our friends we share this beautiful waterways with.

Third Picture if you look close enough you can see small boils of sand bubbling up called “laughing sand”, this was taken on a walk in the middle of the river.

Fourth Picture is a group of kids who live in this beautiful community. #riverwalks

Fifth Picture shows what happens when it rains a lot in the area, as the brown water is run off from roads and construction projects mixing with our pristine spring water.

Sixth Picture is a man made damn to control waterways.

What a great paddle today!!! Thanks @angtull for a great adventure! Today was the first time ever that I fell off my board... my leash got caught on a log and I felt it tug. I tried to leap off my board so I wouldn’t flip it and loose all my stuff.
