I sat at my desk rolling my eyes at the boys sitting behind me. Their little friend group acts as if they run the school. No one says anything though everyone just lets it happen scared of what they'd do. Honestly, sometimes I feel as though they are all bark but no bite. Finally, when school let out I looked over at my boyfriend who was sleeping resting his head on a cute pillow. I packed my stuff up and went over to his desk.
"So-ho~," I said sitting at the desk in front of his. I gently knocked on his head waiting for him to wake up. He groaned and rubbed his face. "Good morning"
"Why didn't you wake me up sooner?" He said tiredly.
"School just got out" I chuckled. "You slept through the class again"
"Not again"
"Don't worry I have notes for you" I smiled.
"How about we hang out for the rest of the day?" He said as we walked outside together.
"Don't you have work?" I asked as we made it to his motorcycle.
"Nope they gave me the day off and I want to spend it with you" He smiled at me giving me butterflies. "Hop on"
"What?"
"Get on the bike," He said putting his helmet on mine.
"No way I'll walk and-"
"Come on it's fun" He grinned.
"So-ho, le-"
"I promise I won't let you get hurt" He lead me to the seat. "Do you trust me?"
"I trust you"
"Then get on I'll go slow," He said as I hesitantly got on the bike. He sat in front of me grabbing both of my hands and wrapped them around his waist. "Just hold on"
"Alright," I said nervously tightly grabbing his waist.
He started the motorcycle and revved the engine making me jump. He started driving as I buried my head in his neck scared to look around. The drive started to feel nice and the small bumps in the road that made me flinch got better over time. I carefully peeked my head out from his back to look around the sudden gust of wind overcame my body as I loosened my grip from So-ho's waist making him smiley at the sudden comfort. I looked around at the streetlights coming to like as the sun fell. Even though I've seen those lights flash multiple times this felt different. The adrenaline in my body and the wind flowing through my hair made me feel free, it made me feel alive. So-ho pulled over in front of a restaurant getting off the bike.
"Holy shit," I said catching my breath and smiling.
"I thought you didn't like going on motorcycles" He teased putting his hands in his pockets.
"I didn't either," I said placing the helmet down.
"I guess we're going shopping for a helmet."
"What do you mean?"
"I'm gonna start driving you home" He grabbed my hand as we walked into the restaurant. "or you could ride with me while working.
"How about both,"
"Perfect," He said.
When the waitress came over we decided to share a meal since I felt a little sick from the drive we took.
"That's normal, you'll get used to it."
"That's good I want to ride with you all the time." I smiled.
"Why don't we walk up to the store up the street that sells helmets." He said while eating. "Then we can go faster since we weren't going that fast."
"Perfect, I don't want you to get hurt"
"I'm more worried about you." He grabbed my hand from across the table. "You're always my first priority"
"Stop you're making me blush" I covered my face the butterflies coming back.
"I'm serious" He laughed lightly. "I care a lot about you"
"I care a lot about you too," I said all red.
After we finished eating So-ho paid for dinner and grabbed my hand as we walked outside. There was a peaceful silence between us as we walked down the sidewalk. It wasn't too packed so it was nice feeling the breeze. He walked in front of a store that specifically sold sports gear along with a few other items.
"Ladies first." He said opening the door.
"Why thank you kind sir" I jokingly bowed as we both made how way to the helmet section. "What color or design should I get?"
"Let's see what they have," He said as we walked in front of the gear we needed. "There aren't many colors left" He frowned
"It's fine, I can always come back you know," I said putting a random one on my head" What do you think?"
He smiled and whistled which made me gently smack his arm. I rolled my eyes smiling.
"I think it suits you" He smiled crossing his arms.
"You think so?" I asked looking at the item.
"I know so, plus like you said earlier we could come back" He uncrossed his arms as we made our way to the front grabbing a few miscellanies things on the way. "I'll pay"
"You paid for dinner let me" I insisted pulling money out and before he knew it everything was in the bag.
"Have a nice day!"
"You as well" I smiled and dragged my sulking boyfriend with me.
"You should have let me pay," He said. "Especially since it's my bike"
"Hey, don't worry about it I'm happy I did"
"Next time I'm buying a bigger dinner and you can't pinch in a cent," He said stopping to look at the lights.
"What's wrong?" I asked worriedly.
"I've never really paid attention to the scenery since I'm always on the run." He said smiling. "I'm glad I'm able to see it with you"
"You should give yourself some more time off you work so hard" I admired his face in the beaming light that captured his beauty. His smile already lit up the streets and his eyes were captivating. He looked over at me staring but I didn't care I let myself stand my ground just this once.
"You're cute," I said out of nowhere making him turn red.
"What was that all about," He said off guard.
"To be honest I dunno just wanted to say that" I smiled.
"You're a hot mess express sometimes" He chuckled looking me in the eye and cupped my cheek.
It was my turn to be caught off guard as he wrapped his hand around my waist making me drop the bag in shock. I felt like I was in a romance K-drama with the swinging lights in the background, instead of Jae-Chan and Hong-Joo it was me and So-Ho. I wrapped my arms around his neck as I gently kissed him. It wasn't fast but it wasn't too slow. We both blushed looking at each other and then looking away shyly. He hugged me and I hugged him back little did I know what was going on behind the scenes. He pulled away from the hug and bent down to grab the bag.
"Let's go back on the Joy Ride" He smiled putting the helmet on my face and giving it a knock.

Heart breaking to see the world as it is!
We always run to the drama to run away from this reality but the truth is the socity always hunt who think that they are the weakest ones to eat first.
Felt like i was there in each laugh was given by so hoo or support as there are alot of people like him who like to be the white knight for the poor one but, while u r doing that u don't think that ur pure kind action may be treated with hate and anger ! Stop blaming the others and look at urself first !
What u r suffering from and u take it out on others is the thing u should be facing ! Not acting like u r such scumbag destorying every good in the others ..
All of us somehow were there with so hoo and si eun ! The one who got dumped by his own family so he starts to live a life without living ! Or the other who lives to feel the joy and feel the others pain! Between the both there is a lautanic which blame you for their own problems and attitudes !
If in any possible way one day u find that don't let the bully one the anger action win ! Face them and stand . Stand cause one day if u didn't face u 'll have to apologise to urself befor the others.

Hyunsu.
He was your best friend for a while. You two had moved to a new apartment and had separate rooms, but always joined together to play videogames and what not.
You and Hyunsu were the perfect pair of friends, but what he didn't know was that you had a crush on him. A huge one, to be exact.
Masking your feelings for him was easy, yet hard.
Sometimes you just wanted to shout your feelings out loud, but then you were shy and decided to keep everything in because of the risk of rejection from your bestfriend.
Also, you didn't want to have a change in your friendship. You didn't want anything to happen just because your feelings got in the way, no way.
You loved seeing Hyunsu, but you couldn't anymore because of the infection going around, and he had caught it. It would cause his nose to bleed and his eyes would turn black.
People feared him as if he was some sort of monster, but you didn't fear him. Not one bit. You knew that Hyunsu was still the same person, just infected.
Eunhyuk had decided to keep him locked in an extra room that was on the main floor. This was decided after there was a vote on whether or not to kick Hyunsu out.
Of course, you were against this, and was very vocal about your feelings. The older man complained, but then he turned out to be infected as well. Karma.
You began to feel lonely as your best friend and crush was no longer by your side at all times. You missed the way he would look at you, or the way he would hug you when you first saw each other in the morning.
You never realized how much you could miss someone until they were no longer with you.
Tonight was a rather lonely night.
You were tired of not seeing Hyunsu, so you decided to have a plan laid out.
Tonight you were going to visit him. After hours was the safest option as Eunhyuk would probably be too busy doing something else, or at least you hoped that was the case.
You threw on different clothes - something a little bit nicer, also looking in the mirror to fix your hair.
Mixed feelings entered your mind at a sudden speed. Specifically about Hyunsu.
Should I tell him about how I feel? You thought to yourself, shaking your head to focus on your appearance instead of the many questions in your mind.
Grabbing your phone and headphones just in case, you also took a packet of ramen for Hyunsu. He had a lot of it, but it was his favorite flavor - Chicken.
You closed the door carefully and made your way down to the main level. People were most likely asleep as it was late, but you were just excited to see Hyunsu.
As you made it to the main level, you quickly peaked around to see if anyone was there. Turning around, you bumped into someone. That someone was Sangwook.
"Going somewhere?" He asked, his voice a tad bit quiet.
"Uh," you paused for a moment. "Yes..?"
"Going to see your boyfriend?" He teased.
"Wh- Hyunsu isn't my boyfriend, and can you keep your voice down! I don't need Eunhyuk on my ass about this. He doesn't let me visit in the daytime, so..." You replied back.
Sangwook let out a quiet chuckle. "I wasn't gonna stop you. Have fun and don't get caught. If I get asked anything, I never saw you."
"Thanks." You nodded and continued walking down the hall.
You eventually made it down to the room where Hyunsu remained.
With a quick peak inside, you opened the door, quickly closing the door behind you and noticing Hyunsu who was half asleep against the wall.
His lip was puffed out a bit and his cheeks looked so soft. You smiled at the scene but quietly went over and tapped him on the shoulder.
"Hyunsu."
Jumping slightly, Hyunsu's eyes shot open and looked directly into yours. His mouth was hung open a bit before he got a few words out.
"Y/N? What are you doing here?" He asked.
"I came to visit you," you answered. "I'm sorry if I disturbed you."
"No, no," he smiled. "You didn't. I'm happy to see you. I've missed being with you all the time."
There was that familiar feeling in your stomach - the butterflies that hatched from the cocoon. The feeling you couldn't wish away even if you wanted to.
"I've missed being with you all the time too," you confessed. "I brought something for you. It might be small but I thought you would like it."
Handing over the pack of ramen, Hyunsu's eyes lit up. "I've been craving this, oh my god. Thank you so much. I promise to repay you when we get out of here- well, if we do."
"Hey," you placed your hand on Hyunsu's shoulder. "We're both gonna get out of here. I promise you that. I'll do whatever it takes, okay?"
"Thank you," he said, "You're an amazing friend."
Ouch.
He didn't know your feelings, but you couldn't help but feel a tad pinch of bitterness at the mention of being a friend - because that's what you were. Just a friend.
You knew you had to confess today because although you did promise about both of you getting out, you didn't know if you would get infected yourself and how your body would react to it.
"What have you been doing to keep yourself occupied?" You asked, knowing you were going to confess soon.
"Staring at the wall," Hyunsu laughed - it was the sound of music to your ears. "I just, I don't know. I try to sleep or eat. I basically do whatever I can to be busy. I think about you sometimes, or all the time actually."
"I think about you all the time, too," You told him, your cheeks slightly burning with red. "I, uh."
You paused, clearing your throat. The nervousness started to rise to your throat.
"Are you okay?" He asked, his face full of concern.
"I'm okay," You reassured him. "I just need to tell you something, but I'm not sure how to.. say it, you know?"
"You can say it whenever you want," he patted your knee. "I'll be ready to hear it."
You closed your eyes momentarily, letting out a breath. "We've been friends for a while. I really love sharing a house with you, but being apart for so long made me realize something,"
You averted eye contact. "I miss you so much. I never knew I could miss someone as much as I miss you, Hyunsu."
"I miss you all the time, too, Y/N."
"My point is," you inhaled shakily. "I've learned that.. I have feelings for you. The feelings you have for someone you like. I'm sorry to have this all.. fall out on you, but I wanted to say that because I miss you every single day."
When you finally looked at Hyunsu, his face was mixed with confusion and other emotions, but you couldn't tell.
As he was about to say something, a familiar figure stood in the opened doorway, looking directly at you.
"Y/N, no one's allowed down here. I've told you that before." Eunhyuk had his hands on his hips as he looked down at you.
You quickly stood up. "I'm so sorry, uh, Hyunsu.. I'll see you later."
Hyunsu watched as you ran out of the room, his feelings left unanswered.
He wanted to say something.

Weak Hero Class 1 Review
If you're wondering what would you get after adding a professional fighter, a psychopath and an inferior person together watch the drama.
Yeon Si Eun is a great student, and though he looks weak he's quite a good fighter.
But what started as something bad, turned out to be good. Si Eun found new friends - Soo Ho and Beom Seok. They all team up to take out the bad guys.
I was not really planning to watch it, but it got tons of hype when it was airing, so I decided to put it on my 'to watch' list.
And I was not disappointed. This drama is great at showcasing the friendship between the high schoolers. It also has some great fighting scenes.
It only has 8 episodes, which are about 40 minutes but everything was very well-paced. It didn't seem to be going too quick or too slow.
I think, the writers did an incredible job in creating this drama.
What stuck out to me was the acting. I love Ji Hoon (who plays Si Eun), but his acting here was not that good. Most of the time it felt like he just wanted to lie down and sleep or cry. Or something in between.
I get that he has to be a cold character, but the portrayal of that was just not great. Though I do think, he has potential, and some of the scenes showed that, however, he still needs to work on it.
The characters were very interesting, so even if the acting from some might be a let down I think the story compensates it all.
I did enjoy Beom Seok's story, but let's be honest, probably everyone's favourite was Soo Ho.
Choi Hyun Wook is just great at playing unhinged high school students.
Overall, this drama is very interesting. At first, I thought it was going to be more like The King of Pigs, but it was more similar to Lookism, Viral Hit webtoons.
I heard there will be a second season, which is great in one way, but I don't think it needs one. I will be tuning in, though.

I’m on some weird roll tonight…morning
But I can’t stop thinking about weak hero class
Especially our stereotype breaking nerd
Si Eun wanted no parts of anyone. Once his dad had said he wished he’d grow up on his own it was over.
Studying and becoming independent was all he wanted to do.
He bottles up all emotion until a few are let lose by bullies. A guardian angel stops his from going too far, calms him down, humbles him and it took sometime but he realizes that this is the first time someone showed interest in his well-being. And once again it was over.
He slowly starts to open up. Studying isn’t the only thing he does anymore. He chooses to hang out with his new friends. Who accepts him and even encourages him to study. Because they know that his education and grades are important to him.
And what fucking volumes does it speak that he abandons study sessions to go help his friends. How he went from caring about no one to trying so desperately to keep his friends safe and together. He doesn’t want to lose anyone, doesn’t want to go back to being alone. No matter how much he gets hit.
All the while there’s a countdown that we’re not really paying attention to until the day comes. The big exam, what he’s been studying constantly for. For him to sacrifice that to help his friend? All that hard work and being alone was no longer his priority he gave up all he had.

Maybe it's just that i watch very few shows with extreme violence so when I do the violence feels extremely salient? But I'm reading other people's reviews of and reactions to Weak Hero Class 1 and everyone most of them are like "Si Eun is such a righteous hero 🤩" and I'm like "did we even watch the same show??" because while I thought Si Eun was an amazing character, I did not see the show as celebrating his actions. Empathizing with them yes, perhaps saying he had no good options, but like, nobody's violence was supposed to be good, right?
But maybe it was and I'm giving it too much credit for complexity? I'm not going to read the webtoon, but maybe this is a situation where it was going in one direction (weak kid gets brave and becomes a hero) and the show used the same bad plot to tell another story, and all the confusion stems from that. Because in the drama, Si Eun was never depicted as weak. He beat that kid to a bloody pulp in the first or second episode!
idk. I feel a little insane about it actually. Someone please tell me they had a similar reaction.

MY TOP 10 K-DRAMAS OF 2022!
honestly, there weren’t so much k-dramas that i’ watched this year. and yep, as a k-drama junkie, i do not take pride. (i blame engineering for this *angry emoji*)
anyway, you should know that it might not be the same as yours since we probably did not watch the same k-dramas, ofc! :\\

10. Tomorrow - there are so much life lessons that we could get from this. i think, now more than ever, it’s important to raise awareness that depression exists and that it should be taken seriously. it is definitely a great reminder to always be kind because everyone is fighting a hard battle that you may or may not know about.
9. Little Women - i liked that it gets better every episode. it wasn’t boring at all because there were so much twists after twists which made the storyline more exciting and captivating. it’s also a reminder that money is powerful but it should never be the cause to lose your integrity. needless to say, i think this is one of the best k-dramas of 2022—cmon it’s kim go eun, everyone!
8. Business Proposal - it’s not a typical romantic comedy drama about the rich and poor relationship because the storyline is way more fresh. thus, it was definitely a good watch as it also deeply instilled life and love lessons in me. kim se jeong and ahn hyo seop?? AHUHU i hope they could cast again in another drama—their chemistry is undeniable!
7. Money Heist Korea - although the plot was very predictable for me, as someone who had watched the original, i still think that it did not disappoint. overall, the storyline was perfect! the twists were Intriguing! the acting was phenomenal! the casts were remarkable! it still delivered the same message from the og that it was more than just a heist but a political revolution.
6. Twenty Five Twenty One - ahuhuhu! though i am one of those who wished for a happy ending for hee-do and yi-jin, i also believe that it was really what the drama wanted to deliver. it was more than just a romantic drama, but a slice of life that will teach us to know our worth, to follow our passion, to cherish every moment, and to realize that love doesn’t always last forever. :((

Extraordinary Attorney Woo - not only did it tackle timely and relevant issues of the society that made it interesting, it was also undeniably an eye-opening and heartwarming drama that will teach us to be kind and to let go of prejudice. this is also a reminder to invest in good education, to get out of our comfort zone, to be happy with other people’s success, and to know that every one deserves to be treated with love and respect.
4. Weak Hero Class 1 - i said it before and i will say it again: park ji hoon’s and choi hyun wook’s acting were out of the world! to be honest, i am not really a fan of action, but there was something in the plot that got me hooked. the analytical skill of si-eun was extraordinary which made it unique from other high school drama. and of course, it wasn’t just about actions, we would also learn from here the importance of being surrounded with good people, being in a right circle of friends, being able to take a break from academic stresses, and knowing our true selves.
3. Under the Queen’s Umbrella - i'm happy that there were no cliff-hangers! the ending was heartwarming and tear-jerking at the same time (for some reason). It did not only give us brilliant actors and amazing storyline, but it has also courageously reminded us that such problems exist: prejudice, nepotism, jockeying, among others. the queen did not only protect her sons but she also brings out the best in them. i'm definitely going to miss your smile, your run, and your umbrella, eomma mama! FACT: KIM HYE SOO'S ACTING IS UNMATCHED!
2. My Liberation Notes - perhaps some would not agree that it is one of the gems of 2022...?? this was a slice of life k-drama that depicts the daily lives of the three siblings. every scene was relatable and realistic that it would make you feel like you’re a part of it just by watching it. does that make sense? their story made me realize the importance of being honest to ourselves, that it’s okay to ask for help, and that having five minutes of peace a day can make life bearable.

Alchemy of Souls - to say that i am grateful for this k-drama is an understatement. i promise...the casts? the storyline? the cinematography? the acting? perfect! that is why everyone is engrossed in it! i wouldn’t even bother to continue the part two if i didn’t like the part one! i promise, this is worthy of a chef’s kiss. :))

nah cuz i just finished weak hero class 1 and that shit was so fucking good 😭😭. so many emotions and just wow the acting was phenomenal and the way the whole series was filmed and the ost was all just so perfect and contributed sm to how the drama turned out. and even though a lot of things were lowk diff from the webtoon it still stuck with the mainplot which i thought was weird at first but after finishing it props to the director and writer bc it turned out so well. specifically bc i felt more emotionally invested in beom seok then with bryce in the webtoon (more on this l8r)
and also im p much caught up on the webtoon but this drama still had me at the edge like 😧 i knew what was going to happen but i was still nervous asf and it was so thrilling

like i knew that beom seok wld eventually betray them but i still lowk got attached bc of how it was just so nice to see them all together laughing and having fun. and i knew the slight red flags like when beom seok checked his instagram and soo hos instagram to see if he followed back but it was just so... 🙁🙁 nice to see them together it made me so happy😭
but yeah the mix of emotions i had for beom seok.. like i hate him. hes a coward and he did irredeamable things but at the same time i feel for him. no child should go thru that type of abuse and neglect from anyone. especially from people who are there to nurture and love...
i think yk that and him being bullied in his previous school contributed A LOT as to why he turned out the way he is. ofc its not an excuse, its never an excuse but i think its def an explanation.
but i really got so angry when specifically he hired the guy to beat up soo ho for the like the 3rd time and after the boxing scene when he went up and started kicking soo ho on the head and stomach repeatedly. and also when he started to cry after realizing that soo ho wasnt breathing and how he was in a coma like mfw...😭?? not to mention the way he continued to blame young yi for the friendship falling apart.. like bro...you did that to yourself ☠️
but the thing is i dont think ill ever be able to fully hate him ??? ITS SUCH A WEIRD AND COMPLEX FEELING. like i genuinely believe that if he grew up in a loving and stable home he wldve never turned out like that. he wldve been such a sweet person😭😭. and ik that not all abuse victims turn out to be terrible people like him but idk i feel like he rlly wldve been so much better if he grew up with parents who genuinely wanted him and not just as a public stunt. even if he got therapy i think he wldve improved lowk.
but like man when episode 8 started off with all of them in the classroom on cleaning duty, just laughing and being friends that fr broke me 😕 + that whole scene when si eun was gettting revenge but couldnt hit beom seok and left the classroom and when people tried to stop him he like ounched the window next to him and started screaming LIKE MANN THAT HIT SO HARD😭😭😭 cuz hes supposed to be the smart composed person but when he started yelling it just hurt so bad 🫠
and man when i saw the eunjang sign,, the way i legit screamed ☠️☠️ IM SO EXCITED 😭
ALSO,, even though i havent watched a lot of dramas this year i think this drama is definitely one of the best, at least, its my personal favorite. and i might be biased bc ive been reading weak hero since i was in middle skl and it has a special place in my heart but idc its literally so well done😭😭 anyways my god this got way too long LMFAO and to anyone whos still reading this thanks for listening to my ramble and look at these photos from the actors instagrams 😭😭
TLDR: weak hero manhwa > weak hero kdrama but the kdrama was still pretty good wish they stuck more to the og manhwa but it turned out good so im not thaaat mad about it and im actually very psyched for s2 to come out and tbh just grateful we got a kdrama😭 +++ the OST is absolutely wonderful😞

WEAK HERO: CLASS 1
They say... Weak Hero: Class 1 is not for the weak
I say, absolutely! Don't watch it if your stomach turns after a character passes out due to excessive punching.
This is one of the most violent dramas I've ever watched. This is the type of show that will keep you on the edge of your seat for the entirety of the episode. Not mentioning the insane action scenes and the incredible acting of the trio. I originally came for Shin Seun-Ho since I saw this drama after looking up his name. I did not expect that I would like it this much!
But, halfway through the series, I had to stop for a while. The bullying and the violence got so intense. I wondered if this kind of intense school bullying really happens in Korea. If it does, I hope this drama shines a light on those victims that might not be as strong as the main leads. I really hope that the country's government takes action regarding this serious matter. Because from what I can observe, the bullying in Korea is unimaginable! Students are becoming thugs and the campus is becoming their dens.
Anyway, going back to the drama. Soo ho and Si-Eun's friendship is ideal although unexpected. I like how they support and love each other. To the point that the ever-coldest Si-Eun cried over Soo ho being hospitalized. If you haven't watched this drama yet, you might think that this show would not be able to make you cry since it is full of fight scenes. Well, you are most certainly wrong. In the last episodes where the two best friends were getting beaten to death and almost no hope could be seen, I shed a river. The real villain in the story is not the bullies (well they are, also, but they were only like puppets in the show) but Bum! His background story is not an excuse for him being a total devil.
So, if you still haven't watched Weak Hero Class 1, I HIGHLY SUGGEST that you go off and watch it right now! More so if you're looking for a show that could give you an insane rollercoaster ride. With that, my rating for this is 9/10. I can't wait for the release of season 2!!!
