Seven Feathers - HawkLeaf

I'm... gonna change some of these designs maybe.

Leafpool and Hawkfrost fell in love as Leafpaw was still, by name, an apprentice. She liked his ambition, and that little bit of Mothwing he has in him. He just liked her naivety, and the fact she was related to the leader. The same leader he tried to kill to get his brother in power, a plan that Leafpool and Mothwing had to stop, with Mothwing driving a pick in his heart. But, she was already bearing Half-clan Medic kittens, no matter if he was dead. Sparkstorm- the one who, by what everyone says, looks the most like her grandpa Firestar. Her jolly, insatiable curiosity is only rivaled by her ability to seemingly run for miles without being stopped, something she describes as "lightnings" hitting her legs and giving her all that energy.

Aldernose- the most anxious out of all of his siblings, he never wanted to become a Warrior, terrified at just the idea of fighting so the senior warrior (and great uncle) Twigtail (Longtail) took him under his wing to work in his garden. There, he seemed to thrive better, even helping in Medic duties from time to time, especially enjoying hunting for herbs, for he seems to have a knack for orienting himself.

Lionbloom- in Thunderclan, the spunky and confident Lionpaw seemed to have all the signs of a future Warrior, as he excelled in fighting, his blows knocking the wind out of his opponents immediately. But, abruptly, he ran into the Medicine Den in the night, not far from his ceremony, and asked to be made a Medic apprentice. Now, while working towards it, he's become snappier, but more somber, even malinconic at times. Yet, he now seems to have trouble tending to wounds without flinching...

Willowshine- Riverclan was so glad, after their Medic revealed she could not communicate to Starclan, they received an apprentice that was seemingly so easily connected to their ancestors. And even better, she seemed to always know what to say to cheer some poor cat up, from her patients to other cats who were ready to fight her clanamates over the border.

Warriors fans will be like "Y'all have no sympathy towards mothers" and then the mother will neglect her child, refuse to connect with them, always compare them to someone else, never ask about them or their interests, keep criticising everything they do, and get incredibly angry and shut them down for any effort at individuality or independence

Alright so heres a lul drawing of bramblestar squirelflight sparkpelt and larksong.In this drawing sparkpelt and larksong are mates and happily together .On the other hand (or paw) squirelflight is trying to be happy for sparkpelt bcs she found love (and she is happy for her ) but at the same time bramblestar treats her like crowfood and doeswnt respect her opinion .

@moss-path's au where Squirrel and Leaf have The Three + Alder and Spark is great, so I made a slightly different version because I love SquirrelCrow too and the potential is just juicy

Squirrel+Crow and Leaf+Hawk.

Squirrel and Crow get close during the journey and especially mourn over Feathertail's death. They were both super close to her, and Brambleclaw and Stormfur are distant, so they have eachother. (I have rewrites where there's different cats on the journey, but Crow and Squirrel are always there so it works everywhere.) Leafpaw has to go to Riverclan with Cinderpelt a lot to cure a bad case of greencough that Mudfur caught as well. Mothwing is learning through them, but she cannot yet go to the Moonstone because of some weird monsters by the caves. Hawkfrost, her brother, starts hanging out with them more and more, seemingly very interested in Leafpaw (who is an adult but cannot get her name because of the Moonstone situation). Mothwing is a bit skeptical but she wants her brother to be happy, and Leafpaw is her friend. Hawk makes her feel special, like she's the Moon herself... Cinderpelt does not like this and when they leave she tries telling Leafpool that he's bad news. Leafpaw does not listen, she misses her support system in Squirrelpaw and Whitepaw, she thought she found friends and now they're gone. She sneaks out without her permission.

Anyway, they reach the Lake, they get their names, he'll yeah. Crowfeather and Squirrelflight miss eachother a lot, but after the Windclan rebellion they have uuh hung out too much and she's pregnant. Squirrelflight is scared, and they plan on having Crowfeather move over to Thunderclan... and that night the Badgers attack, and Cinderpelt is dead. Cinderpelt might have helped, but she could not. Leafpool, after noticing how Hawkfrost is trying to manipulate her and seeing him in the Dark Forest, cuts off with him. Mothwing is the one that warns her of the faked signs, and they work together to kill him in the fox trap, Brambleclaw is unable to move and this leads to bad stuff(tm). She is also pregananant. They sneak out in the night, telling the clan they believe something's calling them, and they give birth in the middle of winter in an old stump. I want to show that they have some spirits helping them, Shrewpaw, Yellowfang (who's not an asshole) and surprisingly, Mapleshade, who leads Mothwing and Crowfeather to them to help them out with food and herbs. Funny thing: no kits die! Not even Juniper and Dandelion!... because Moth and Crow bring them back: they are Breezekit and Willowkit. Willow is given to uuh I dunno? And Breeze to Nightcloud, since she just lost her kits.

I think the clan thinks they're Bramble's but they are not together so Squirrel raises them with her besties Daisy and Ferncloud. Moth and Sorrel help out Leafpool, who's not handling the postpartum depression well, but still dotes on the kittens. Also, Crow + Squirrel have Jay, Juniper/Breeze, and Holly, and Hawk + Leaf have Lion, Alder, Spark and Dandelion/Willow. The prophecy Firestar gets is about five feathers falling in camp with the leafbare wind, they're dark feathers with a shimmering blue eye pattern (like a peacock), while two others blow away. The prophecy might be about "your blood runs along feathered, chilly winds, and in their conjunction, the stars shine brighter than ever."

Can we PLEASE not call Sparkpelt a Terf/terfy or anything like that because it's not only watering down the word immensely, but it's also extremely disrespectful. As much as people want to project on Nightheart and call him trans-coded. He's not and never was. Because that implies that the writing team WANTED him to be seen as such, like how they can only make Tallstar at most gay-coded or cats like Firestar bi-coded in the actual books because Working Partners suck with WC and WP hate LGBT people, so it can only be confirmed outside of them. Even stuff like RavenBarley only got through without issue because Vicky being the editor she had the power at the time to do so. That isn't here though.

Calling a character a Terf... can we just not. Nightheart is NOT canonically trans, you can read the writing however you want, have whatever hcs you want as long as they're not offensive, but that is not what is happening here. Sparkpelt is not a TERF, that does not exist in these books. Dare I say that is the offensive assumption. It's a hell of a reach to link her not liking Nightheart rejecting his fathers name and being upset about that and all that as her hating trans people as a whole. TERF is a word (acronym to be exact) that means something serious and we need to not just throw it around just because the characters don't act the way those people want them to. All he did was get a name change (not even done by himself!) Like even if you like the whole Nightheart trans concept/headcanon/etc., it's not actually canon and we really need to NOT just suddenly treat popular fandom interpretation as canon. You can rewrite bad characters and whatnot but DON'T copy the misogyny because that is what those people are doing ffs because they don't know nuance at ALL.

Sparkpelt is not a TERF, she does not hate trans people/cats, let's fucking shut that idea down right fucking now.
