I've been in the bsd fandom since...2018/2019 I think. I started with the anime. I remember being so early that at that time, almost all the bsd reviews were negative. I went to reddit, I think I went to my-anime-list too, and other websites and it was full of negative reviews. So I went into bsd with a rather "eh" mindset 😅 but I was bored that time and had nothing else to watch and I saw it on Netflix so yeah 👍

Hihi 🤭🤭🤭🤭 if you stalk me long enough, you may find that my bsd blorbo 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 is non other than Oda Sakunosuke. I love that man to pieces fr 💖 I love the fictional version I made of him in my head even more 🤭

Other anime that I like is Hunter x Hunter. Childhood anime was Sailormoon 💖 and Princess Sara. I was also once obsessed with Cedie the little prince (its an old anime). Besides those, I don't remember much anime that I was rlly invested on. Though I did watch JJK the movie and season 1 ❤️

A song I love? Here's the thing - - I don't really have a favourite song. I have different 'top songs' depending on the genre. 😭 But one song that comes to mind rn is 'I am not a robot' by Marina and the Diamonds

I think everyone has this in a way but yeah, Idw lose this thing and submit completely to misery 😄✌️. Like I could *fail* hard on one day and feel awful abt it but after a while, I'll feel like trying again). <<<< this is me regarding my (sort of) unhealthy eating habits lmao 😭

😊 Cards On The Table (Agatha Christie, author; Hugh Fraser, narrator) - would genuinely love to know if the line in ABC Murders sparked this or if AC already had it planned and slipped that line in as a clever easter egg; love this one for bringing so many of her 'slueuths' together, just like I loved it when HP worked with Mr. Satterthwaite

😊 The Company You Keep (orbingarrow) - post-WS canon divergent, background stucky but really very Bruce focused, really enjoyed these characterizations and seeing Bruce front & center

🥰 Paradise Lost & Found (Jennifer Knightley) - delightful contemp romance set in a tropical wedding resort with a jilted groom & a rebound fling that (obvs) develops feelings.

🥰 To Say Nothing of the Dog: Or How We Found the Bishop's Bird Stump at Last (Oxford Time Travel #2) (Connie Willis, author; Stephen Crossley, narrator) - it's been 20 yrs since I read this; a mash up of the vibes of Victorian comic literature, '30s golden age detective fiction and PG Wodehouse into a delightful time travel adventure romp. It does feel a little dated in some of the characterizations, but sadly kotowing to the narcissistic, abusive, imperious, unreasonable, reality-denying billionaire on the off chance she might donate some money and everyone pretending her behavior is 'whimsical' and 'hilarious' and not absolutely toxic feels unfortunately super fucking contemporary (but shout out to naming her Lady Shrapnell - absolute *chef's kiss* to that Wilde allusion)

🥰 Read, White & Blue (JJK) - 99K, shrunkyclunks - canon divergent newly defrosted Steve and librarian Bucky; loved it!

💖💖 +69K of shorter fic so shout out to these I really loved 💖💖

yeah i wanted to add on to what you said abt being in the bnha fandom. i was literally just thinking abt this earlier today but bnha came out in 2015, meaning there are ppl that have been in this fandom for 6 years which is mindboggling to me. i’ve only been in the fandom for a little less than a year bc i bingewatched the first 3 seasons over spring break and caught up to season 5 (although i havent finished).

plus for the ppl that haven’t watched it yet, it seems like a pretty long anime bc it’s 5 seasons and 3 movies but for me it rly wasn’t bc i binge watched it hella fast.

tl;dr there wasn’t rly a point to all this rambling but it’s just crazy to think abt the ppl who have been bnha fans since the beginning

yeah!! i didn't watch bnha until my... sophomore?? junior??? yr of high school?? and by then i think seasons 1-2.5 were released at least. so i binged it all at once and... and i actually liked deku first... and then i watched deku vs kacchan pt2 and i immediately got bkg brainrot LOL but i digress

on one hand im glad i joined the fandom "late" cuz there were already sooo many bkg/reader fics floating around to read. but i can't help but think about being in a fandom from the very, very beginning and having to create all that content yourself too. i saw a glimpse of what that's like when i got into jjk when it was first airing and the amount of gojo/reader fics on ao3 were like less than 200... which... wow i dont think ive ever been in a fandom where content was THAT low so i kinda dipped LMAO but now he has over 1k fics and im kind of amazed. it's been less than a year after all i think but anyways im going on a tangent again kfdkgdfkg

being in a fandom for 6 years is absolutely wild to me. having to wait for weekly episodes and then for new seasons to start... i would go crazy i think, i HATE cliffhangers LMAO. but yeah, a lot of the people i see floating around have blogs less than a year old and im like WHERE did u come from. it's a good thing, don't get me wrong, bc new blogs = new content for my starved self, but it's still very much crazy to think abt and see happen before your eyes

ok im still kinda fresh into my anime phase so I’ve watched like 10-15 animes total (maybe not even that much? lol) but based just off what i’ve watched so far:

5. kny - animation is really good. characters are adorable. im so so excited for mugen train & s2

4. jjk - ok if I were ranking based off where the manga is up to rn i would prbbly put this at #3 but tbh when I watched the first season i was kinda.. underwhelmed by the story (the animation was unbelievably good though). but then i picked up the manga and yea it gets REALLY good ... i am apologizing yrs in advance for the person i will become when the shibuya arc gets animated

3. mob psycho 100 - honestly this is 80% for the animation, but also mob is maybe my favorite character from any piece of media i have ever consumed (after like.. ahsoka of course lol)

2. fmab - masterpiece!!! work of art!!!!! im on my 4th rewatch already lol!!!!! also the first anime I really enjoyed (before fmab i was convinced the genre was just not for me lol)

1. cowboy bebop - ok I LOVE fmab with all of my heart but something abt cowboy bebop... idk. I’m only on my second rewatch but it’s such an oddly comforting but also kind of solemn anime... i don’t even know how to describe it. but yea bebop is my no 1 currently
