NFL Films: Redskins Super Bowl Week 1972
Source:The Daily Press I’m sure, actually I’m positive that the Redskins wanted to beat the Miami Dolphins in Super Bowl 7. But beating the Dallas Cowboys in the 1972 NFC Final was their Super Bowl victory and championship that year. That is the goal that they set out to accomplish. Not that different from the 1982 Redskins that admitted to feeling better about beating the Cowboys in the 1982 NFC…

Would you miss the chance to kiss the King?
I was reading a review of Elvis' November 12, 1970 concert in Seattle, Washington at the Coliseum. The article is from Elvis History Blog and there is this reader comment section by the end of the page. I found it very interesting learning that, 1: 'SOLD OUT' marquees don't always exactly mean what the words say and, most of all (it's very funny because I see myself being in the same fix and I just know I would regret forever about this), how not all of Elvis' female fans had the courage to get a kiss from him even when he was right there in front of them offering those lips away.
How would you behave? Would you shy away being face to face to Elvis like that? Please, read the comment below and share your thoughts, if you feel like to.
Here it goes a comment from someone in the audience that day:

Reader Comment: It was nice to read your review on Elvis in Seattle in 1970. I, along with my girlfriend and wife-to-be and sister and brother-in-law, also saw the show.  We came down from Vancouver BC, taking a chance we might get tickets, but, of course when we arrived, the marquee sign said, "Elvis, sold out."  We were going to turn back, but I said let's talk to the ticket guy at the booth and double check.  Well, he said there were a few tickets available, but they were on the right side of the stage and he couldn't guarantee Elvis would turn around.  They were $5 each, and we said, "We'll take them!"  Anyhow, to make a long story short, Elvis did turn around and walked up the side of the stage shaking hands. When he was right beside my girlfriend, I said "stand up and kiss him." But she was too shy, I guess. I could have shook his hand, but I was heeding the warning they gave about not getting out of our seats before the show started. I forgot our camera, wouldn't you know it.  Anyhow, thanks for the memories! Elvis was and is The Greatest! — Farrell (December 2013)
I recommend you reading the full review on this concert, where this comment comes from: "Trying to Remember Elvis On Stage in Seattle in 1970"
