These are kinda, not like other posts I have made but I needed a couple character specific age charts for the project I wanted to do so here they are lol. I want to do a generalized chart talking about development and size and like, when kits open their eyes, and when they gain color, when they teeth, ect ect. this is not that, this is just to give me some idea of size and shape across a few different ages.

Day 10 - Tawnypelt!

My Warriorcats design pet peeve is when people draw Hawkfrost as this sleek little rat boy compared to broad poofy Brambleclaw when they're basically described as reskins of each other over and over and people are always like "why does this guy (Hawkfrost) look so familiar???". They have different markings so any visual similarities would be in their build and features.

Either they're both sleek or they're both fluffy. Personally I prefer fluffy.

Mostly because then I can headcanon Mothwing as an amber Norwegian Forest Cat which looks like this

You can't tell me that's not Mothwing.

And as much as I want Hawkfrost to be a colorpoint, it's unlikely that a colorpoint would be as brown as Hawkfrost is (and colorpoint is recessive 🤬🤬) so he and Brambleclaw would probably look like this (just switch the eyes)

Bonus Tawnypelt

I like Tawnypelt as a more-red-than black torbie because she's Tigerstar's child too damn it give her stripes (her orange is the exact same color as Goldenflower though)

I know a litter can be a mix of long hair and short hair but I just prefer when they match if it's not specified that they don't (like Squirrelflight and Leafpool). Or if two siblings have the same color I might imagine them with different fur types to differentiate them.

Berryheart from A Starless Clan. Berryheart belongs to ShadowClan. She is the daughter of Snowbird and Scorchfur, sister to Cloverfoot, Beenose, Yarrowleaf, Bluebellkit, Gullswoop, Frondwhisker, Buster (Rippletail) and Conefoot. She is mates to Sparrowtail and the mother of Needletail, Sunbeam, Hollowspring and Spireclaw. Berryheart joins the kin soon after her daughter, Needletail, leaves but after her death and Berryheart’s almost drowning, she flees to become a rogue and have her next litter. After being returned to her clan, she becomes very outstand-ish towards cats not from ShadowClan, traumatised by her experience and suggests changing the rules to make it harder for cats to join. She schemes with Splashtail but as of now, we don’t know what. She is still alive as of Shadow. (Info gained from tumblr, Twitter and the wiki. I have not read A Starless Clan)

Wow it’s the definitely murdered someone or at least had a play in it but it’s not that clear yet! Berryheart! I was really shocked when I got two A Starless Clan cats in a row and also kinda worried because I have not read the books lol. It was interesting to read up on her though and while she is just a Karen I do feel bad for her and get why she’s acting the way she is. I also thought it was cool that Needletail is her kit!! Have they spoken about that???? They need to! That has so much potential!

Anyways, her design. I imagined she’s very fluffy BUT very short! Which is the opposite of Needletail as you can see but maybe I’ll draw papa taller! Or forget! Who knows! I know she’s a black and white cat but as I’ve said I do not care and I’m designing them how I want! She obviously got all kinda shades of red for berry and heart but the patterns don’t really mean much other than mmm round because fluffy,,, I find it funny she’s got the heart suffix though and she’s quite an outspoken and bitter cat atm. Makes me think she used to be happier and kinder towards the ones around her. Darktail be ruining everyone!!

Mintkit and Marigoldkit! Brightflowers kits that are murdered by Brokestar and for which Yellowfang is blamed for killing. In Yellowfang's Super edition its unclear how old they are when they die, but they were not apprenticed, so less than three moons probably, maybe younger. Yellowfang sees them playing one day and realizes they're pretending to kill enemy clans and she tries to play a different game with them instead but they aren't interested if it's not about murder. They wander out of camp on their own once, maybe twice and then Brokenstar teaches them how to die.

Finally finished a set of adopts that are all claimed (so please don't offer on them)! They're based on planets - Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter. I did have an Earth-based cat but they went unclaimed, but I'll finish them eventually.

I want to get back into Warrior Cats art soon... I've just been very busy!
