01 Pepero Day is Coming

Park Jihoon (ex-Wanna One / Actor)

Jihoon saw his future and was given the chance to go back in time. He does it all again but this time, change it for the better. To keep himself, and her.

[Written in Third Person | Female Y/N]

It’s been two weeks since Y/N had realized and accepted that she actually likes Park Jihoon. He had been invited numerous times by Hyunwook to hang out with them during lunch, or even watch him practice baseball. Daeun would purposely have Jihoon sit next to her all the time. The usual Hyunwook-Y/N-Daeun has turned into a Hyunwook-Daeun-Y/N-Jihoon seating arrangement. In Daeun’s words, “So you’d get used to it without me hearing your heartbeat.” Y/N’s eyes almost rolled at her friends’ ridiculousness.

It was surprisingly quiet on the school field. Many would have thought that even on this early day, students would begin to pour in. The sun has risen at 7:30 AM, but the morning glow is still present. Neither the light nor the darkness was excessive. Just enough to enjoy the sunshine and clear skies.

As Y/N nears the classroom, she passes by the school billboard that reminds them Pepero Day is coming. Y/N shook her head, the corner of her lips quirked. She knows deep down that it’s the Athlete’s club’s ploy with the help of their very loyal fans.

Hyunwook talks tall tales of how many he’ll get again this year that he could open up a Pepero store for it. Is it exaggerated? Maybe, a little bit. Is she complaining? No, not really. Especially when she gets a fair share of chocolate from him.

Y/N pushed the door open. It wasn’t surprising to see the classroom empty and all tidied up. She made her way to her seat, pulling out her phone, and plugging her wired earphones. She scrolled through the numerous lists before pressing ‘admiring you from afar’, a playlist she curated herself. With music ringing in her ears, Y/N rests her head on her arms on the desk. Her eyes closed as she drowned in tunes.

There was a tap on her shoulder. Y/N’s eyes widened when her gaze connected with a smiling Jihoon. He gestures something about her earphones and she instinctively removes one. “Good morning.” He said.

“Oh,” Y/N’s mouth twitched. “Good morning. You’re here early.”

Jihoon’s face turned brighter, a small laugh escaping from his lips. “Well, I think you’re earlier.” He sat down on the chair parallel to hers. Y/N watched him place his bag on the floor, pulling out a couple of books and what she assumes to be his notes.

She looked away. Stop, Y/N. You can’t stare at him like that again. You two are friends now. Stop it.

“Uh, Y/N?”

“Yes?”

“Do you have an extra pen?” Jihoon asked, “I left mine, I think.” he continued, still rummaging inside his bag.

“Yeah, I do.” In a short span of time, she handed him a pen. A pink one. Jihoon’s eyebrows rose while looking at her. “It has black ink, I swear.” Y/N defended. “All my stuff is pink.”

Jihoon smiled, “Thanks. I’ll return it later.”

She could feel her heart thumping in her chest again. There really is something about his smile that makes her weak. Is it his perfectly aligned teeth? Or is it how his cheeks are rounded when he does? Is it maybe how his eyes smile with his mouth? Or-– I’m staring again. Y/N get a grip. Please.

Letting out a sigh, Y/N wears the earphones again and goes back to her initial position. Head on her arms on her desk. She watched the clouds slowly move in the sky, some dissipating as they went.

Just as Y/N was dozing off, a thump next to her table echoed. She flinched and her posture straightened up. “Good morning, my lovely best friend.” Y/N’s lips pressed together as she rolled her eyes. Hyunwook stood tall in front of her. “What’s the point of going to school early if you’re going to sleep in class anyway?” he questioned.

“To not be late. Dumbass.”

“Err, I’d rather sleep more in my bed than do this.” Hyunwook copied how she crosses her arms and closes her eyes. A slap connected on his arm when he attempted to snore. She couldn’t help but laugh along with him anyway.

“Bug off and go to your seat.” Y/N scolded. Her eyes drifted to the clock hanging on the wall in front, 8:15 AM. Time surely passes by quickly. She gaped at the already occupied tables and few of her classmates grouped up having a chit chat.

Talk about timing when Daeun walked in and waved at her, eyes narrowing at a sitting Jihoon beside her. The only gap between them is the walkway.

Was that even his seat? Daeun thought. Smirking, she strolled towards her best friend and greeted her. “Hello to you.” Daeun approached, hanging her tote bag on her desk. She turned her body and faced Y/N, discreetly pointing at Jihoon.

What is he doing there? Daeun’s eyes flickered. With your pen?

Y/N’s face flushed. He borrowed it.

They were talking in silence, mouthing the words to each other.

I see. Daeun wiggled her eyebrows, while Y/N swatted her away.

It’s not like that.

Sure. Daeun stuck her tongue out and turned, giggling as she did so.

Y/N peeked at Jihoon. She assumed that he’s either studying or reviewing for something. His pen— her pen— twisting in between his fingers as he reads. She watched how his eyes went back and forth from the book to his note then back to the book. Then their eyes connected.

Y/N almost tore her eyes away when Jihoon spoke, “Do you need the pen?” She can see Daeun turning her back and watching them.

Y/N shook her head, “Nope. I have an extra, remember?”

“Ah, yes. I just thought you wanted it back.” Y/N shook her head once again then smiled. Daeun watched them with raised eyebrows. Interesting.

“It’s nothing, Daeun. Turn back around.” Y/N sighed, pinching her friend’s arms. “Teacher’s here.”

“Hm…” was all Daeun could reply, her grin reaching from ear to ear.

“Are you guys excited for Pepero Day?” Hyunwook asked, breaking the silence between the trio. “Hello? Am I talking to anyone?” He added when no one replied.

Y/N is busy doing her assignment which she forgot is due today. Daeun is scrolling through her phone while silently laughing to herself. A scoff escaped Hyunwook’s lips.

Every year, it’s like this. He’s the only one who gets overly excited on Pepero Day. To be fair, he also thinks it’s a stupid holiday but it’s fun; you get a lot of chocolates, letters, and people tell you how much they adore you.

“Tss, I know you guys barely get Pepero but ignoring me like this is—” Hyunwook’s chair screeched as he stood up. “Fine. I’ll see you both, never.” The sound of his thumping footsteps echoed inside the library.

“What’s up with him today?” Y/N asked, eyes still glued to her paper, hands scribbling down the letters as fast as they could. It’s not Hyunwook’s first time to sulk. He always says the same line, but he’ll end up hanging out with the girls the next day anyway.

“I don’t know.” Daeun answered.

Y/N didn’t miss her tone. It was almost suspicious, as if Daeun knows something she does not. YN’s pen rose from the paper. “Daeun?” She looked at her friend’s way, who is still scrolling through Tiktok videos like there’s no tomorrow.

“What?”

“Tell me.” Y/N pushed. The pen’s feedback from the table equaled Daeun's sigh.

“I told him I like him,” Daeun gulped, biting her lips.

Y/N’s eyes went round at the information. “When?”

“Yesterday, when he walked me home.” Daeun exhaled, a heavy feeling weighing down in her chest, “Look, he doesn’t like me, and now I feel dumb for confessing,”

“I can’t talk to him yet. Maybe we can hang out like this, yes, but you have to be present or else…” Daeun’s lips quivered.

“I’m sure he was just taken back. I mean, we’ve been friends since six. He probably wasn’t expecting it.” Y/N assured.

“He laughed, Y/N.” Daeun pressed. “He laughed and said that I was joking, that I don’t like him like that. At least not romantically.” She looked away. “He told me that I probably ate a lot of tteokbokki and had a food coma.”

Y/N couldn’t help the small laugh that slipped from her lips. Hyunwook you dork. “Look–” she giggled.

“It’s not funny!” Daeun whined. “It’s real Y/N. Every time I see Hyunwook, my day instantly gets brighter, you know? Like nothing could go wrong. He walks with me every day and I feel safe. I think about him all the time. He makes me want to look forward to my future. He’s in here,” Daeun pointed to her head. “And here.” and her heart. “You’ll know it when you experience it too.”

Y/N leaned back, eyes sparkling. “I understand.”

“You don’t have to ignore him though. It seems like he wants to talk with you.” Y/N added as the bell rings for their last class of the day.

Jihoon wanders through the crowded hallway. Few students have greeted him as he passes by, some of his close friends fist bumping with him before letting him go.

Jihoon let out a tired breath once he reached his locker. It’s been a long day for him. Multiple quizzes, a ton of assignments due, his presentation for preparation for uni, and some school club reports that he still needs to finish. So much for being the President of a school org.

As he placed his books inside and gathered his extra shirts, a sticky note fell. Jihoon’s brows furrowed. How can someone place a note inside his locker?

Flipping the paper, he reads: Don’t accept the Pepero from her. Please.

Her? Who’s her? Jihoon cocked his head, his lips pursed. Pepero day is in two days and he always receives at least 5 boxes, so who exactly is the note referring to?

Rolling his eyes, the paper crumpled in his hand. Whoever is trying to prank him won’t work. Jihoon has too many things on his plate right now to play along with someone’s silly games.

“I’m scared to walk alone.”

Jihoon heard a feminine voice.

“Then wait for him to finish baseball. I’m sure he’ll still walk you home.” Another voice talked.

Jihoon closed his locker’s door, catching a glimpse of Y/N and Daeun walking towards his direction; their attentions fixated on each other. Daeun looks frustrated while Y/N, on the other hand, looks more relaxed.

“Yeah, right. Like I would want to be with him alone.” Daeun stressed. “Oh. Hi, Jihoon!”

“Hi!” Jihoon waved back. Y/N smiled and bowed at him.

“Tough day?” Daeun asked.

Is it that obvious? Jihoon exhaled deeply, “Veryyy tough day.”

There was a brief silence between the three students until Jihoon breaks it. “Are you guys heading home?” He didn’t miss Daeun elbowing her friend.

“Uh, yes.” Y/N spoke. “Well, Daeun is. I’m going to work.” she mumbled something to Daeun that wasn’t really audible to Jihoon.

He watched the two silently banter in front of him. Jihoon lets out a chuckle when the two start hitting one another. He felt as if he was watching a stand-up comedy performance right before his eyes. His muffled laughter probably caught the girls off guard as they suddenly stopped and faced him once again. He heard something along the line of ‘Just go to the baseball field’ and a bunch of ‘You can’t make me’.

“Sorry,” Y/N blurted. “She and Hyunwook had a fight.”

“It wasn’t a fight.” Daeun complained.

“Then go. I need to go to work.”

“But I don’t want to see him. I wanna go home.” Daeun objected. They’re starting again. Jihoon could only watch in amusement.

“Then go home?” Y/N questioned.

“I’m scared to walk alone, remember?” Daeun rolled her eyes.

“Your house is like ten minutes away and the sun is still out. People are still out there, you know.” Y/N is starting to get irritated. Jihoon can feel it. Jihoon can see it.

“But—”

“I’ll walk you home.” Jihoon intervened. Both girls snapped their heads in his direction. One expressing excitement and one bewildered. “I mean, I can walk you home. If you don’t mind.”

“Sure! Thanks, Jihoon!” and just like that, the three of them walked out of the building.

They passed by the baseball field, one of the players being their friend. Hyunwook isn’t that hard to spot either, he stood tall among his team mates and for some reason, his skin glows under the setting sun more than the rest.

“I’ll be heading this way.” Y/N announced, referring to the street on their left.

“Aaaand Jihoon and I will be this way.” Daeun pointed at the opposite street, “See you tomorrow, Y/N!”

“See you.” The girls did the usual hug and their best-friend clap. “Boom, bitch!” The two yelled, ending their ridiculously fun made-up cheer.

Jihoon’s eyes crinkled at the sight. He has been smiling ever since they started walking.

“See you, too, Jihoon.” Y/N waved her goodbye. The trio parted ways.

Jihoon couldn’t help the thoughts running in his mind. Where is Y/N heading? What part-time job is she doing? Why is she even working? From the outside, she didn’t look like her family was struggling for money. Or maybe he’s just assuming and judging she’s not?

“She does it for fun.” Daeun interrupted his mind. “She really likes coffee and bread. There, she gets them for free plus money, so it’s a win-win situation.”

Jihoon leaned inwards, relaxing his shoulders. “I see.”

“She’s really something.” Daeun bragged. Jihoon agrees.

You were on the set of Jihoon’s new drama, standing on the sidelines watching through a screen as the very emotive scene happened.

Your boyfriend’s character was supposed to cry as he delivered a pretty emotional speech.

You watched intensively trying not to cry yourself, you weren’t the type to cry easily or often. But the emotions he transmitted were insane.

As you immersed more on the scene, the director screamed: “Cut!”

Jihoon searched for you and walked to the place you were.

“So, what do you think, lovely?”

“I-it was amazing, Hoonie.”

“Are you crying?” He took for hand and softly dried your tears.

“Maybe?” He chucked and pulled you closer, hugging you tightly.

“Aw, my love. You’re so adorable.”

You stayed like that for a while, swaying in his embrace.

“Thank you for inviting me, honey. It means a lot to me.”

“Anytime, love. I know you love to see me act.”

You giggled. “I do, you’re extremely talented.”

“Thank you, baby.” He blushed. And blushed even more after you touched his soft cheeks.

“You love to make me blush, right?”

“That I do.”

You kissed his cheek. “I love you.”

“I love you, too.”

he'd try to hold back for a while, but he'd eventually break and feel an instinctive need to take care of you in a way he would a younger member. even if you were a very independent and self-reliant person, he would still take care of you in his own low-key way. would make sure you always had all your meals, make space for you in his studio and provide you entertainment so you could accompany him in there in the long hours of the night. he'd feel a special type of love for you knowing he could dote on you so freely.

ive always felt like he'd go for someone younger just for the traditional aspect of it (idk i have no basis for this belief lmao just a hunch). he'd enjoy playing the role of the dependable boyfriend with a younger s/o to provide for and dote on. it'd just bring him a special type of satisfaction to know that you could look to him as a reliable source of comfort. would be the ideal boyfriend and take care of all your expenses and all your emotional needs.

he'd be so damn overbearing in the way he took care of you im ngl. would keep tabs on your meals to make sure you had all your meals every day, would push vitamins on you, and just have huge concern for your health overall. he'd also feel insane cuteness aggression for you at the most random times, becoming overly affectionate and expressing how cute he thought you were (even if your age gap was teeny tiny).

gives me the vibe that he wouldnt really care if you were older or younger. however, seeing the way he dotes on his little sister and gets along with her, i think he'd be similar with a younger s/o. wouldnt really bring up your age difference much but would still use it as the butt of jokes or use it as an excuse to take care of you at times in which he just felt a little extra affectionate towards you.

soonyoung — so worried. instantly lifts you up and checks if you're hurt. he stifles any laughter cause he doesn't wanna embarrass you further lol. just comforts you over some food or drink. but if you laugh, he would too. he also would fall to make you feel better 😭😭

wonwoo — so confused. one moment you were walking with him, the other you're on the floor. like now, what are you doing on the floor? helps you up with a small smile. tries to go on after knowing you're not hurt, but you're too embarrassed. he lets you hide your face into his arm and kisses your forehead, telling you that it's fine.

jihoon — lmfao, you're so right anon. he gets embarrassed for you and probably considers walking away. but well, you're the love of his life and he doesn't frankly care about others. helps you up with a big smile and then comforts you. he acts like he's disowning you, just to tease you lol.

minghao — gets worried when you trip and fall. is by your side, instantly, helping you up. then he checks what you tripped on. nothing. you tripped on air. gives you judgy eyes before snorting a little. he doesn't care about others, and he's just worried about you endangering yourself. then he hugs you after a scolding sesh <3

mingyu — he's probably the one that tripped you by accident. intentionally trips too, falling by your side. so that you're not embarrassed. loves you too much to not share your pain or embarrassment. you start laughing and he does too. and everyone thinks you both are crazy. but hey who cares? you're both in love. and that's what matters.

seokmin — poor baby is so alarmed. drops everything to help you up and makes sure you're not hurt. hugs you and laughs after knowing you tripped on nothing. also one to pretend to fall to ease your shame. you cannot convince me that he won't bring out his musical actor side. helps you up in his arthur façade. "are you hurt, my queen?"

seungkwan — laughs before anything else. brings out his nagging mother side after. helps you up while scolding and lightly hits your head. laughs and coos if you hide yourself in his embrace cause he adores you. but turns this into blackmail material if you ever say smthn against him lol. "oh yea? remember the time you tripped on air?"

vernon — doesn't even notice that you tripped and fell. too busy in his own world and probably walks away, unintentionally which makes everything more embarrassing 😭😭 but when he notices you, he's like "why are you on the floor?" he just helps you up, not even noticing those people staring. would not know till you said that you fell.

chan — could give less fucks about others. another one to drop everything and help you. even suggests piggy-backing you if you're hurt. kisses your knees or wherever it hurts and rubs the spot. lovingly nags you and laughs a little, noticing your embarrassment. reassures you that it's fine.

Of course, the downside was that Soonyoung wasn’t exactly certified to teach people how to drive, but he was allegedly a good driver.

His lessons were normally for high schoolers, and he charged their parents around a hundred. For adults over the age of 21, though, he had a special offer that you couldn’t resist.

You texted him to ask if he had any open spots for you. He took a few days to reply, but you eventually got a two-hour slot for the next week. You weren’t sure how effective his lessons would be, but you figured you would give it a shot since he was your age and giving out classes for cheap.

When the day of your lessons rolled around, you were slightly anxious while you were waiting for him to arrive. You needed Junhui to reassure you for hours last night, promising that no, Soonyoung was not going to kidnap and murder you. He was a student at your university, actually, and he was a public health major who never had a murderous thought in his life.

soonyoung (driving instructor): i’m outside your house

Okay, if he wasn’t a murderer, then the least he could do was not text you like one.

After replying with an omw that autocorrected to On my way! and left you feeling very distressed that your communication sounded overly-enthusiastic, you worked up the courage to walk outside to his Honda Accord.

“Hi,” you greeted shyly when you opened the door. “You’re Soonyoung, right?”

Honestly, you didn’t care if he was Soonyoung or not. The man sitting in the driver’s seat was probably one of the most attractive people you had ever laid eyes on. Even if he wasn’t Kwon Soonyoung, you would happily let him kidnap you. Maybe you’d even blush a little because he picked you of all people to kidnap.

He turned to look at you, seeming a little surprised that you opened the door but smiling nevertheless. “Yeah, that’s me. You’re Y/N?”

When you nodded, he got out of the driver’s seat and motioned for you to take it. You skirted around the car to sit inside while Soonyoung took the passenger’s seat.

You also got a glance of his off-brand, beige Fear of God Essentials sweater that read M.I.L.F. Hunter instead. Classy.

“So, you came to me because you didn’t wanna give up your semester’s worth of college tuition for driving lessons,” Soonyoung said with an overwhelming air of confidence.

“Yeah, pretty much.” You huffed. “Here, I heard this was your payment.”

You handed him a paper bag, not bothering to take out the receipt from the dispensary. Inside was the King Louis XIII STIIZY pod. One gram.

“Ah, good. You know your stuff.”

Soonyoung hummed as he examined the box, and you were just wondering when he would get to business and start showing you the controls in his car. You were slightly overwhelmed by his impressively relaxed demeanor. Maybe it would have been better if you settled for an uptight woman in her sixties. Pretty boys were always trouble.

“You made the right choice coming to me. I’m a much better driver than those hags from the driving schools around here,” he continued. It was like he could read your mind; it was almost terrifying. “Plus, way less likely that I’ll get a heart attack in the passenger’s seat.”

He was a total weirdo, but he was hot, so you supposed it canceled out in some obscure, mathematical sense.

"That’s… good to hear, I think,” you replied. “So, are you, like, good at this?”

“Are you kidding? I’m basically the Lebron of driving.”

“I see.” You nodded along, unsure. “I don’t watch football, so…”

“He plays basketball, but close enough.”

joshua…would that man even find out about the rumour? if ever he does, he would just laugh at it and ask you how the ship arised. he’s not keeping up with the internet but he’s certainly keeping up with the yn!

jun/seungkwan/chan would send you the ‘welcome home cheater’ meme just to spite you.

soonyoung/seokmin/vernon thinks it’s damn funny. he will never stop laughing about it. like he’ll think about it in the middle of the day and laugh. he can’t wait to see them at a future event.

wonwoo/minghao menacingly plays ship edits around you.

mingyu/seokmin/seungkwan would exaggerate and whine over the situation. when he saw you after seeing the ship post, he sang heartbreak songs cause ‘my s.o left me for another man (ಗдಗ。)’ you best believe he won’t let the rumour go even after years.

minghao would keep teasing you about it. “how many dates have you two been on huh?” / “how long before you were going to tell me?” it’s just banter and a way for him to show he trusts you and you don’t have to worry about being shipped with someone else.

seungkwan somehow knows everyone in the industry i feel like he would just hit up the idol you’re being shipped with. if they’re close enough he’d just laugh and ask how does it feel to get shipped with his s.o.

It’s so precious to him that you take the role of being the protective one, because in his mind you don’t really need to do that, he’s right there??? to take care of you. Not this time Hao, let someone else take care of you.

➼ SEUNGKWAN: he’d fight, because isn’t he supposed to be the protector? but boo would quickly give up, he loves being a softy for you, and he wouldn’t mind being the protected and taken care of. BUT i feel like he’d also have this urge to protect you, i don’t know, but i see him as someone who is really protective of the people he loves

➼ VERNON: kind of chill about it? but then again, vernon is chill about almost everything. in his mind it should be 50/50, both of you taking turns being the protector and protected.

➼ CHAN: okay, my baby (he’s mine, fight me) would love to be the protective one. Like, we know how mature he is, + the fact that he’s the oldest in his family, he is a natural protector. Warning: This is angsty and sad af, slight cursing, mentions alcohol, Seungcheol's is devastatingly fluffy, some suggestive things in Jeonghan's so minors dni.

A/N: using a song lyric as a prompt for each of the members. Decided to break this up from Hyung Line (Seungcheol - Jihoon) to Maknae Line (Seokmin - Chan). Keep an eye out for the Maknae Line part. The parts are written in order from where the song lyrics show up. I hope you enjoy.

✫ Jun: "I didn't think you'd understand me. How could you ever even try?"

You and Jun come from two different worlds. That's what made the relationship so exciting when you first decided to date. You thought it would be fun. However, there was a lot of cultural differences and just things that neither of you could never understand no matter how hard you both would try. You even tried to learn each others languages and cultures but it was just too difficult. Plus the pressures of being a secret lover just never set right with you. You understood why you had to love in secret but it still didn't mean it didn't hurt. When you made the unfortunate decision to break things off with Jun, he pleaded with you and even said he understood how difficult things are but you already made up your mind. No amount of tears from either of you could change your mind.

✫ Joshua: "Just wanna let this story die. And I'll be alright."

When Jisoo and you began dating, you never imagined getting to this part. You imagined getting married to him. You imagined having a family with him. You imagined a beautiful life with him. That's why these last few months have felt like such major whiplash. The constant fighting, the snide remarks, the tension, it was exhausting. You just were waiting almost impatiently for him to end things with you already. However, he was stubborn and he still loved you. You are everything to him and the thought of losing you is a nightmare. That's why you had to do it. At 2:13 am you both were screaming at each other on the phone over who knows what when you finally chose to end it." It hurt like hell but you felt a little lighter and less stressed out. You knew you would be alright and one day you would find someone to live the happy life you imagined with Jisoo.

The days where you would come home to Soonyoung were a distant memory at this point. You both were just so busy with everything that you both came to a mutual agreement to break up and just try to remain friends. However, little did you realize how hard it would be just friends. Whenever you were out with mutual friends, you both would both try your best but there was still some tension and longing glances even though neither of you would ever admit it. Your friends would beg you both to just grow up and get back together but both of you were just stubborn and rather live in delusion and pretend that being friends was the smartest choice. It was for the best.

You felt delusional. You were being delusional. When Wonwoo walked out your once shared apartment you sat like a lost puppy thinking surely he would ignore your words to get lost. However he listened. He got lost and left everything you built together. He was hurt, he was upset. Everything he did was for you, and to watch you just throw everything you both built was devastating. However, he would do anything for you. That includes walking away when you ask. After two weeks of waiting for any sign of Wonwoo, you realized it was just you. You realized what you did and you regretted it but you also knew that it was for the best. He was amazing and deserves someone who could love him the way he loved. Maybe in another life you both could try again.

Fighting with Seungcheol was one of your least favorite things to do. It took all your energy and just made you feel sick. Normally, if he was being irrational or bothered you, you would just bite your tongue and just pray it would be over soon. However, after months of doing this you realized staying silent was killing you. You wanted to express what was bothering you in hopes you both could mend your almost deteriorating relationship. You had texted him earlier that you wanted to talk when he got home. This caused Seungcheol to hurry home to see you. He thought you were hurt. He was left in the dark about your angers and wanted to make sure the love of his life was okay. When he got home he saw you sat at the kitchen table with a worried face and that's when he was nervous. "What's wrong, baby?" "I um, we need to talk about us. I don't want to argue about it but I wanna talk about how I am feeling and have been feeling for a little while." He nodded and pulled out the chair next to you and gave you his full attention. Once you let out all your concerns, worries, and grievances you were worried about, Seungcheol just held your hand and then together you made a game plan on where to go.

✫ Jeonghan: "You got me misunderstood but at least I look this good."

"What do you think you are doing (Y/N)?" you heard someone behind you ask causing your heart to race as if you were a kid who was caught stealing cookies from the cookie jar. You felt guilty but deep down you knew you had NO reason to feel guilty whatsoever. It had been over three weeks since you and Jeonghan decided to call it quits and tonight you decided was the night to wear a little black dress and try to move on. What was the occasion? Saint Laurent had invited you to a party in Seoul and you decided it was a good opportunity to dress up and feel pretty. You knew Jeonghan would most likely also be invited but to be honest, you could care less. He was not yours to worry about anymore. Tonight it was only about you and supporting Saint Laurent. You sighed as you turned around and saw Jeonghan staring at you with mixed emotions across his face. This caused you to smirk at him before shrugging. "Same reason you are here, I was invited." "But why the short dress?" "Since when were my legs offensive?" This made Jeonghan shut up and just look at you. After what seemed like an eternity you waved goodbye to your former lover and walked away into the party.

✫ Woozi: "You cling to your papers and pens. Wait until you like me again."

When Jihoon and you both started to talk, you knew that he was a workaholic. You knew he'd spend countless hours in the studio and you had sworn up and down that you were okay with it. However, after him being at the studio while you waited at a restaurant on your one year anniversary happened you were angry. He didn't even apologize really, he just was like "you know I need to get this album out." It hurt. When he got back to your shared apartment, he noticed how empty it was. He noticed there was not a trace of you. He called out for you and he heard nothing. He looked everywhere and when he realized you were gone. He quickly took his phone out to call but the call went straight to voicemail. He then found a letter addressed to him saying that you were done being second best to him. You said you would love and support him forever but for your sake you couldn't do this anymore. The note broke him and he couldn't help but breakdown crying.

breath in, breath out. thats what you were taught in situations like this. but nothings coming out. you feel like your suffocating, like the walls are closing in on you. sitting on the floor in the shared bedroom of you and your boyfriend, you try to calm yourself down. the lights are dimmed and its late at night, the neighbors were asleep. no one could hear you even if you wanted them to.

jihoon wasnt home. he hasnt been home for over 4 months, hes been on tour. hes finally coming home, but its all setting in. its hitting you harder than a truck, you missed him badly. you realize being so far away from him was a issue. you realized theres a possibility he could stop loving you on the way, theres a possibility he couldve met someone new, theres a possibility he could forget about you. you were overthinking. tears were running down your cheeks and you were hyperventilating badly.

the sleepless nights without him, the fear running through your head, thoughts starting to take up your mind, everything was making you crumble on the floor besides your bed. your ears started ringing, you couldn’t even hear the front door open.

“ … I'll see you soon, I'll see you soon ”

jihoon opened the front door with his keys and immediately could tell something was wrong. “y/n?” he called out, hoping you’d hear, but to no avail you couldn’t. he could hear the faint sobs coming from your room. even with how tired he was from all the traveling, he dropped his stuff by the door and ran over to your shared room. seeing you sitting on the floor, hyperventilating and sobbing, immediately got him worried. without another thought, he walked over and held you in his arms.

“hey hey its okay.. im here now.” he rested your head on his chest. you flinched a bit by the touch of him, not aware he was home yet, let alone in your room. after a minute, you melted into his arms, sniffling and sobbing lightly. your breathing slowly regulating as he whisper sweet nothings into your ear, making sure youre alright. he drew circles on your back, watching the rise and fall of your back.

once your breathing regulated to normal, jihoon pulled your face away from his chest and cupped your cheeks in his hands. “wanna tell me what happened?” he wiped away some tears with his thumb as he looked at you, pure worry filling his eyes.

“ … How could a heart like yours ever love a heart like mine? How could I live before? How could I have been so blind? You opened up my eyes You opened up my eyes Sleep sound, sleep tight ”

“i.. i don’t know its just..” you felt more hot tears begin to roll down your cheeks as the thoughts began to come back. “i started to over think.. and everything started to hit harder and.. god i missed you.” he felt a pain in his heart. he knew it could effect you being gone for so long for the first time in your relationship, but he didn’t think this could happen.

“i missed you too.. im so sorry.” he kissed your forehead and rested you back on his chest. you stayed there in a comfortable silence until your tears dried. after the soft moment, you spoke up.

“how could you love someone like me? you have so many options.. what if you meet someone beautiful when you’re out there?” that got him. that was what broke his heart. thinking in the case that you think of yourself so low. jihoon stayed silent for a moment, trying to think of the right words to say. it hurt that you doubted him. he kept drawing circles in your back as he thought.

“i like the y/n i have here. the loving, sweet, person i’ve grown to love. i don’t need anyone else. i need you. and i promise, im never gonna leave you alone again. you’re coming with me on tours from now on, i can’t leave you here like this.” with that he picked you up and carried you to your shared bed. he held you close to his chest. you snuggled up into his side and slowly found yourself resting in his arms. the tiredness from the traveling hit jihoon, and soon enough he fell asleep holding you tightly as if you were gonna disappear if he didn’t.

Jihoon saw his future and was given the chance to go back in time. He does it all again but this time, change it for the better. To keep himself, and her.

Is he famous at school? Nope, he’s not.

Girls who worship the ground they walk on are undoubtedly part of a different group of guys. Nevertheless, Park Jihoon enjoys a lot of popularity with the girls. Although he doesn't speak much in class, he is not shy. His self-control when giving a presentation in front of his class would surprise you. Jihoon won’t talk to you unless you talk to him first, won’t greet you unless you do— he just doesn’t like initiating anything.

But that doesn't mean he won't socialize. His loud outbursts during group projects and occasional jokes during discussions with his favorite instructor were common occurrences. He has two faces, just like a coin. You’ll either get the head or the tail.

“Stop staring at him.” Daeun sat right in front of Y/N, who was staring mindlessly at Jihoon, about eight chairs away from them. “You’ve been doing that for the past three days. He’s definitely gonna notice.”

Y/N blinked. Three days? So, it’s Thursday? Fuck. She needs to go back to work or else, she’s really gonna get fired this time.

“I wasn’t staring at him.” Y/N pursed, putting her focus on the opened book at her table.

“Sure, you weren’t.” Daeun rolled her eyes. “Ever since Hyunwook mentioned how he finds Jihoon handsome, you’ve been looking at the guy through his soul.” Hyunwook, the social butterfly Y/N considers as her other best friend. He knows almost everyone in school, and everyone knows him.

Y/N sighed.

Daeun’s right. She has never looked at Jihoon, ever. At least, not in that way. He was just an ordinary guy, who happens to go to the same classes as her. She used to laugh at his lame jokes in class, smile when they make eye contact, and even converse with him during vacant hours.

But now, every time his eyes wander around the room, she finds herself looking away and avoiding his gaze. Every time he would get up from his seat to do something, she would now press her cheeks on the table, pretending to be asleep. She’s not scared of him or anything… it’s the butterflies in her stomach, and her heart beating loudly that makes her want to run away.

The commotion of students running to their seats snapped at Y/N and Daeun. Their instructor walked in, placing a pile of test papers on the desk, with an unamused look on his face. “Fix yourselves. We’re having another test after this.”

As he was about to turn his back and write on the board, Hyunwook arrived with all eyes on him. “Good morning, Teacher.”

Mr. Kim raised his eyebrows, “Choi Hyunwook, how many times have you arrived late in my class?”

“It’s my first time, Sir.” He smiled. Y/N grimaced. This dumb bit—

“Are you sure?”

“Hundred percent.” The room echoed in laughter. Daeun shakes her head in amusement, while Y/N scowled looking at her best friend’s teasing smile.

“Sit down.” Lucky bastard.

4/03/2022. that’s when a certain silly girl decided to post her first work to a new platform. that silly girl is axe and a new platform (for her) is tumblr. 2 years passed so so quickly i don’t even know how?? thank you all for being here for me and supporting my work, it means so much to me!!

to celebrate this, i decided to make an event!! it’s nothing too fancy but i hope you’ll enjoy it: seventeen members as dpr ian and dpr live (dabin) songs! ofc i wouldn’t be myself if there wasn’t a little twist~~ here’s the deal: i’ll post titles of songs so far, you don’t know which member it is unless posted AND within each fic there’s a spoiler who’s gonna be next !! the range is 500-4k words for some of them, there is a variety of genres so i hope everyone will find something to enjoy. also, i made most of the banners myself — however id like to thank @slytherinshua , @eternalgyuuu and @l3visbby for your help with some of them !!

random thoughts i got from svt from the cb [sfw,, i may post the nsfw one when i have time!]

seungcheol + jeonghan : putting them together just to say two words. BRAIDING HAIR. oml it'll be so fun to braid their long hair or even put it into funky styles and i feel they'll just love it esp the funky glitter clips you put in their hair its just so wholesome

joshua: morning cuddles. his whole vibe especially in sweaters makes him look so huggable. he would just engulf you in the biggest and most comforting hug ever and his grip would be soo secure you don't ever wanna leave.

junhui: imagine him buying flowers... like searching up all their meanings on google then picking the perfect one for you🥹 he'd be soo flustered when he gives you the flowers and he would not mind spending a large sum on those flowers for you.

soonyoung: he would sooo dress you up in his style. he'd be soo enthusiastic about it and he'd be the cutest happiest tiger when he sees you dressing in his style. you'd end up with bags full of clothes to bring back home since he couldn't decide on one and he wanted to spoil you hehe

wonwoo: going to cat cafes with wonwoo. he'll be great with cats and instantly click with one, knowing exactly to give head pats and neck scratches. wonwoo would not be able to part with that cat and he'd end up adopting it and bringing it home.

jihoon: lifting you up onto the kitchen island or anywhere. like he just loves to lift you and twirl you around. he just finds so much joy in that action and the way you always let out a shocked shriek always makes him smile.

minghao: he would be amazing at skincare. matching face masks and applying cream on each other. he'd be so so gentle and he would make sure you are feeling relaxed. its such an intimate moment where you would share deep topics and conversations.

mingyu: baking with him. just imagine this,, him being such an amazing cook but horrible baker and you are decent at baking. then he wanted to bake cookies for his sister. but he ended up messing up so bad you had to step in but he added salt instead of sugar so baking was a flop.

seokmin: listening to him playing the guitar and singing. he already did it in the soop before and just imagine him singing his versions of seventeen's songs or ballad songs. then he would ask you to duet with him even if you are bad at singing like sjdhsjfnsjdhh

seungkwan: binge watching drama reality shows, esp the kardashians. he'd be more entertaining than the show and tbh you'd be admiring his amazing side profile instead.

vernon: bracelet making. he'd be quite decent at it actually. but it'll be the cutest sight when you saw the bracelet he was making like fall apart and his face turns into an adorable frown and he'd do it all again just to give it to you.

chan: arcade visits with him. the competitiveness in him would just bubble and he would actually play fair. he'd teach you how to play the game because he goes often with his hyung's. doing that cliche kdrama thing where he stands close to you and helps you OMGHDHDHSHSH

freaking out internally at having hurt you but!! externally he'd immediately jump into comforting mode and do everything in his power to ensure your safety and comfort. he'd apologize endlessly for having delayed even on second in detecting your discomfort and would spend the rest of the night cooing and pouting at you as he babied you.

jeonghan -

for once in his life he'd be caught so off guard and enter a state of shock, stopping immediately and unsure of how to proceed. even though things didnt go too far and you hadnt gotten hurt or anything, he'd still feel sooo fucking bad. wouldnt be able to joke to lighten the mood either bc he'd just feel so bad to have hurt you in such an intimate setting. would coo at you and caress you the rest of the day.

irrationally scared he might've hurt you beyond forgiveness at first. this was a first for him, so he'd feel beyond apologetic and like he had committed a capital crime at having hurt you, even if it was an accident. once you both caught your breaths he'd comfort you (and himself) as he held onto you and made sure you were okay, apologizing for whatever it was that caused you to use your safe word.

seokmin -

stops immediately and becomes extremely apologetic about it to the point where he almost cries. he'd NEVER want to let his lust go so overboard to the point of even giving you the slightest discomfort so this instance would stick to him. you'd have to come to him next time u wanna have sex bc he'd wanna give you space to decide if u wanted sex again on ur own.

mingyu -

jumps off you so quickly he knocks himself off the bed with a huge tud, making himself become the actually injured one. the tables would turn, making you have to take care of the bruise he gave himself but would be consistently interrupted by him wanting to tend to you in case he had somehow hurt you.

minghao -

he'd take it so seriously even if you told him it wasn't that big of a deal, that you just felt off for some reason. none of your rebuttals mattered when he entered a zone of utmost worry for you. he'd switch things up completely, telling you to lay down while he made you a warm drink and prepared a bath for the two of you.

seungkwan -

really loud lol. he'd get scared at the situation, having never been through it and not knowing what to do. he'd end up going overboard and overcompensating in trying to tend to you after having accidentally hurt you.

vernon -

another member who would be too shocked to react at first, simply pulling away from you and blanking on what to do. after a few moments of staring blankly, he'd finally move and ask if you needed anything, checking if you were okay or if you were hurt in any way. he'd feel kind of awkward but would still be sincere in his worry for your wellbeing.

chan -

jumps back immediately, eyes wide as he freezes in place. would take him a few moments to actually get close enough to you to check what was wrong and offer his comfort. would feel soooooo fucking bad. would also feel embarrassed that he had somehow hurt you or made you uncomfortable in any way. you'd somewhat have to comfort him to make him realize it was fine since he listened when you used your safe word.
