man the homestuck kin community in the mid 2010's was wack

i got accused of flirting with a minor as a young adult bc i told somebody i shipped a ship. (note: i wasn't. but the other supposed adults in the chat couldn't tell reality from fiction and decided that i was a creep and i was like ???? ok?)

this is the same community that accused me of being abusive bc i said that vriska abused tavros. like LITERALLY people freaking out yelling at me telling me i should feel horrible about myself and then getting mad when i told them i was having a panic attack over being yelled at and accusing me of victim blaming???? and like??? idk it was fucked up like FUCKED UP

not to mention the fact that one of the people accusing me of being these things was using 'kin shifting' as an excuse to be a huge fucking bully and torment people and not taking accountability for their actions because 'it wasn't me!! it was psionic!'

i would love to talk to some people from the community again bc i had some decent friends and i want to know if they're doing alright but like? if that one bitch that accused me of flirting with a minor and of being abusive and of trying to guilt trip people by having a negative reaction to being cyberbullied reads this? i sincerely hope you got some help and that you learned how to take responsibility for your fucking actions.

tavros posts bad pat the bunny covers to youtube . they get like 40 views and every video has exactly 3 likes (theyre from gamzee aradia and himself). dave finds them by accident and uses his 15 alt accounts to cyberbully tavros. vriska decides its more embarrassing for her if tavros is made fun of by other people because thats her self-assigned pupil so she starts acting like its actually good and ur dumb if u think otherwise . his stats go up. his vids start getting recommended to other people. however since its getting suggested to actual folk punk enjoyers they think its good. overwhelmed with the sudden attention he just deletes the whole channel and if anyone brings it up he plays dumb

#i thought it was too easy for vriska to make fun of tavros she should use some backwards logic to defend him in public #in private she does absolutely make fun of him though
