Game Mechanics: Paraiso I [Offline]
Paraiso, in MVRL, is the name of the game, the vr headset gadget you play it with(and eventually the capsule like thing), and the company making both, because they slap the name on everything they make. (paraiso means paradise in my language, and thats why i picked it.)
First, the company. The company was established years and years before the present timeline. It started out as a group of five people, who saw the rising popularity of virtual reality games and wanted to join in the fun of capitalism. Some, of course, did it for the joy of making. Others, still, joined simply because if they made a Filipino VR headset, affordable to their people and made for them, it will put Philippines in the map of technological advancement(with their name, specifically, attached). Another just wants the cash, and knows they could make cash with this. Sure, not immediately, but it could work, and that's good enough.
So they did. They made the first headset. It took them five years just developing the headset itself, five years of near hopelessness and anger and resentment because why did they do this. Why. But they are stubborn idiots, and spite is a very powerful motivator: against each other, the world, the other countries. Money, too, is good motivator. Sunk-cost family is a bitch and man do they buy into it.
But one headset does not a company make, and neither is it profitable just this way. So they decide: you know what would Be neat? adding in built game to the headset. and so another five years passed, and there are five games for the headset. Five that is unavailable anywhere else except for the trailer version released as part of marketing and the fund raisers they did for the money (because while some of them Are Rich and others have jobs, they really can't afford just. wasting ten years of five people income to this. they have to eat).
Anyway, that's not very important(it is).
The point is that there are 5 games, and all are part of the Paraiso Series, as they called it. Aside from being solely VR, these three games are connected to each other, whether you are online or offline. There are three 'offline' games, which is basically games that entirely doesn't need internet connection to work. They could be played online, and even have parts of the game that needs to be connected to the internet or to other Paraiso VRHs, but it's not required. The other two are 'online' games, which means it is required for them to have internet connection to work. These two definitions are used loosely.
First, the three offline game are as follows: a Spot The Difference game, a Find The Clue game, and the third is a home decor game.
Opening the spot the difference game and the find the clue game sends you to a white room with a soft, calming music is playing. This space is eventually customizable, with wall paint and furniture and all that, and ill elaborate more when i explain the home decor game. Anyway, they open the same way. There is one single table in the middle of the room, with a lamp, a ball-point pen, and a book on it. You can change the pen into pencil, or a quill, or fancy pen like glass pens etc.
Opening the book, a hologram comes out. It just asks you: 'Are you ready?' and the only option available is 'Start Game'. Entering the game is where things starts to differ from each other. Runes fills the empty pages, glowing before settling into a picture on right side, and a block of text(instructions) on the right side. SPD shows a plant, though often changing, and FTC shows an animal.
[Spot the Difference] | [Find The Clue] | [Home Decoration] | [Online Games] | [TLDR]
