How does this work?

Sign ups will be first-come, first-serve.  They will be opened on March 4th at 12:00 EST (between Saturday and Sunday).  The first 25 artists to sign up will be participants in the mini-bang.  

If you are still interested and there are no more spaces, you can sign up to be on the wait list! As a wait-list artist, you will be on-hand in case one of the initial 25 artists drops out for any reason.

(Please be aware that as a wait-list artist you are agreeing to be on call for the entirety of the mini-bang, so be sure you can commit to this before signing up.)

Since this is a reverse bang, artists will be the first to create their material. Therefore, we will need you to show us that you have an idea you’re working on by April 2nd.  This means a description and some proof that you’ve started on your sketch, including thumbnails.  You will need to have a decent sketch and a summary of your intended piece done by April 12th so the authors have something to choose from.

We will not share your personal contact information with anyone except your author partner, once claims are completed.

I had the pleasure of drawing the paladins as zoo keepers and some of the animals they were responsible for in @alien-space-mom / @queenpigeon‘s lovely Altean Zoo Fic for the @voltrongenminibang. 

It was a lot of fun trying my hand at all the different animals. :)

It was really pleasure to work with @paladin-pile Go read her fic here: Little fingers hold the tightest Little Fingers Hold the Tightest by Utsukushin (paladin-pile) After the final battle with Zarkon, the Voltron team begins a desperate search for Shiro, but not even Slav’s ramblings on quantum realities could have prepared them for what they find.

Shiro has been turned into a child–a bright-eyed, scarred little boy with one arm and no memories–and although they try their best to accommodate the change into their already-chaotic lives, no one quite anticipated just how challenging it would be.

(Staying sane enough to find a cure while fighting the Galra empire is a little hard when there are Olkari cubes roaming the castle chanting “Lance is a Weenie” every 12 seconds.)

Title: Little Boy Blue Words: 27105 Summary: After an explosion in a mine they were visiting causes a radiation leak, Coran recovers from unconsciousness to find that he and Lance are trapped and alone, far away from the rest of the team. Coran himself is relatively unscathed, but Lance... Lance is changed. Lance is small. Notes: Hello! Welcome to the first of two big bang fics I am posting. The second will go up a week from now on 7/30. My artist for this fic is @artbymaryc, and her art is FANTASTIC. This has been a long time coming, and I'm super excited to be able to share! So excited that I'm just posting the whole thing, over 27k words, in one post right now. I'm kind of impatient, haha. Also, it just doesn't split up into chunks very well. So you get no cliffhangers! Though the fic could do with a sequel, and I plan to write one someday. As usual when I set out to write a long fic, things that I thought would happen quickly did not happen quickly at all. But I hope you find the story satisfying as is. Please let me know.

In the Hands of Hatred

This is my entry for @voltrongenminibang! I had an absolute blast writing this story. Many thanks to the mods for hosting this event!

My partner for this event was the lovely @mishion, who made the most AMAZING art for this fic. Seriously, it's gorgeous, and I still can't believe my luck that I got partnered with her! Also, she's such a lovely person, so check out her other stuff!

Summary: After saving an alien race from the Galra, Team Voltron sets down on the planet for repairs. They are welcomed with open arms – until the aliens find out that Keith is Galra.

We Come Running by  a_fearsome_thing Keith has learned a lot since he discovered he can create fire: don’t trust other people, not ever other mutants. Don’t stay in one place for too long. Stay away from the Garrison. Don’t get attached, because everyone leaves.He hasn’t quite learned how to control it, though, which is how he finds Shiro, who’s looking for a school. And just like that, everything he knows turns upside down. Thanks to @voltrongenminibang for the chance to draw!

Spirit Cats: Summer

Excerpt 

The red cat stood up with her ears folding back and growled. Keith stood on guard, despite Shiro stepping in front of him and the other kids. Yet, Black stood and batted at the cat like she was a mother scolding her kitten. The new cat flicked its ears, jumped off the bed and darted right between Shiro’s legs.

To the shock and amazement of the whole room, the new cat rub it’s head against Keith’s leg. A purr was then heard as it curled around Keith’s legs as if it did it everyday.

Keith was frozen and hesitant if he should even dare to move. What if the thing scratched him just for blinking? He glanced downward and the cat stare back with its eyes full of determination like it dared Keith to try to escape.

“Huh, looks like she’s attached to you,” Hunk knelt down, still keeping a careful grip on Yellow.

“I’d rather it not be,” Keith grumbled with his arms crossed.

And here is my piece for @voltrongenminibang! I’ve got partnered with @dtriad and I absolutely loved every single moment we worked together. She is a precious human being with some magical words up her sleeve ;) Go read First Space and the Right Place to see for yourselves <3
