Galran Keith hcs

I like to think that as Galran's genetics get diluted, the animal they correspond with just gets smaller. Like, since Keith is only half-galra, he has behaviors similar to a bobcat while Krolia and Kolivan have big cat traits.

Like, bobcats are awesome at climbing so Keith is always on top of things he shouldn't be on top of. Also, they don't roar, they scream/yowl, and hiss. AND, unlike big cats, bobcats can purr! Keith has definitely been on a mission with the blades where he gets frustrated and just...yowls. And it makes so much sense for him to hiss when Lance starts getting on his nerves.

His galran traits freak out the paladins/alteans a bit (save for Shiro, he's seen worse) but the blades think they're adorable. Bc, imagine you're Kolivan (completely galran/big cat traits) and there's this scrawny new kid who hisses when he gets pissed.

This was one of the very first fics I ever read in this fandom and also made me practically fall in love with Voltron fan fic. The writing is just superior. It’s heartfelt, angsty, and just straight up beautiful! It has everything from lance angst (I love lance but reading his angst is simply the best), worried Keith, Klance, hidden feelings bursting to the surface, it has everything. Lance angst is so gut churning- and no matter what the writing is flawless! This fic definitely makes my top five!

Another Keith Hc!!!

it's his birthday, so why not.

He's not really into emo music (HEAR ME OUT). He's a poor, country, boy, and, let's be honest, the only person he probably talked to was his Dad. This boy grew up listening to NOTHING but old country. Like, old Johnny Cash CDs, Hank Williams he pirated online, etc.

Lance, however, was internet trash and was a die-hard P!ATD, TOP, FOB, and MCR fan. (Middle school emo-phase Lance is so real to me). And he just assumes that Keith's music taste is as stereotypically emo as Keith himself.

One year, the paladins visit the space mall around Keith's Birthday. And Lance gets Keith an MCR CD. Lance is so proud of himself for finding it and is so excited for Keith to open it, so he's floored when Keith has no idea what MCR is. So, Lance takes it upon himself to educate Keith about the band, their albums, what the albums are about, the members, and essentially the entire discography of MCR. They listen to the CD together and afterwards Lance catches Keith humming the songs to himself. And, Keith would never say it, the biggest reason he loves the music so much is because of how excited Lance gets when they listen to it together.
