Cold Ghosts
The Second Omnic Crisis Russian Omnics (or SOCRO for short) and the Gwishin are the biggest omnic threats in the current day of the Overwatch world (besides Null Sector). Both the SOCRO and the Gwishin have shown a propensity for violence against humans. It is without a shadow of a doubt that these forces will team up with Null Sector and attack Overwatch on the Volskaya Industries and Busan missions. However, a much larger question is at play.

How in the Iris are these omnics still working like this?
Due to recent retcons, Anubis is the sole instigator of the original Omnic Crisis. Once it was locked up, all the omnics went inert (according to the wiki). So, how are the SOCRO and Gwishin still operating? Anubis was the driving force for the creation and strategy of all omnics during the crisis, for it had complete control over the omniums. How are new omnics being designed and created in the East China Sea Omnium? How are SOCRO forces able to mount numerous successful offenses without any guidance? They aren't. Someone or something else must be pulling the strings. It's probably not Anubis. It is still locked up in the Temple of Anubis. I also imagine it would have better options for omniums to use, such as Ramattra's frozen omnium. No, there is only one other entity that could possible have the means to manipulate these omniums. One npc i wish got more attention is Katya Volskaya. The way Russia handled the Omnic Crisis was very unique compared to other countries and so obviously the anti-omnic sentiment runs deep. With the new story arc she has so much potential with how she deals with the Null Sector situation Im praying the writing team hasnt dropped her completely.
I honestly hope we see more of her too, but I think it's more likely to see her either be mentioned or be explored in out of game media like novels, short stories and comics. Though I do hope we get data logs from either Zarya or general world events that gives us details on what other countries like Russia are doing.
Considering we get a whole family history of Katya with the Volskaya industries section of Declassified I doubt that the writing team has dropped her. She will probably be important at some point. Maybe in a post Invasion story arc. I think her and Russia's reaction to the Invasion being explored afterwards would be interesting as it would lead to a lot of political discussion we have only seen briefly in Overwatch's story.

First of all that designer was on pages of Vogue. And secondly Vogue is nothing to be wow about. They’re corrupt af. JL isn’t a model but at least he’s an Oscar-winner B-A famous, so his cover is understandable. But what about VK’s friend Alisa Volskaya?? (The one who got tickets for LV show). Yes she is some agency owner and has big connections but how is she a model?? She is not at all and yet recently she bragged about her Vogue cover. Connections and money can do anything
I meant THINNIE getting into Vogue. Not this whoeverthefuck designer. 🙄
And whether you like it or not, Vogue IS the bible of the fashion industry, so... 🤷🏼‍♀️

Laut einem aktuellen Bericht von Dion Rogers für BlizzPlanet haben die Entwickler von Overwatch 2 Key Pläne, die bestehenden 2CP-Karten aus dem ursprünglichen Overwatch zu überarbeiten. Die Idee hinter diesem Plan ist es, die bestehenden Karten, wie Hanamura, Temple of Anubis und Volskaya Industries, in Payload-Versionen zu ändern. Änderungen an bestehenden Karten Hanamura Dem Bericht zufolge haben die Entwickler bereits geplant, die Hanamura-Karte von ihrer 2CP-Variante in eine Nutzlastversion umzuwandeln. Diese Pläne beinhalten die Änderung des bestehenden Layouts der Hanamura-Karte und die Umwidmung der beiden Punkte A und B in zwei Nutzlast-Karrenwege, die durch einen unterirdischen Zug verbunden sind. Tempel des Anubis Temple of Anubis soll eine Hybridkarte werden, die sowohl Payload- als auch 2CP-Elemente enthält. Volskaya edges forward, reaching out with her hand to touch the outstretched arm of the mech. VOLSKAYA: Our first new mechs in a decade. The soldier in the middle mech powers on his machine. The omnium will not wait for us to be ready before they attack again. Its- VOLSKAYA: Tell me we're still on schedule. They will be the difference in destroying the hated omnics. Another guard steps forward to greet her she moves past him and he rushes to follow. Volskaya steps out, followed by one of her two guards, and purposefully walks up the stairs towards the mechs. The elevator carrying Katya Volskaya and her guards lowers itself into the bay. A few guards are scattered around the area. BAY Three manned mechs are waiting in the bay. Widowmaker swiftly grapples up to the top of a crane arm as Reaper leaps down from the ledge, returning to Wraith Form as he hits the ground. Widowmaker pauses at the next door to let him catch up before it opens. Widowmaker distracts the unknowing guard by running ahead, while Reaper comes out of Wraith Form behind him and quickly silences him. Widowmaker and Reaper nod to each other and the door opens. Sombra playfully enlarges another window for the viewer to see: a surveillance camera in an elevator showing CEO Katya Volskaya flanked by two armed guards. WIDOWMAKER: Are you certain the target is on-site? INT. Crates of material are stacked around them. BUILDING Widowmaker and Reaper are poised outside an entrance to the facility. The words “BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT PRESENTS” appear on-screen. The locations of Reaper and Widowmaker are marked in green, and those of enemies are marked with small red dots. It is an overhead view of Volskaya Industries. Sombra swipes another window onto the screen. Do you have satellite? SOMBRA: Of course. Overwatch is set in a futuristic, technologically advanced world that is full of amazing things. Maps draw inspiration from all over the globe, such as the English-themed King's Row and the Mexican-themed Dorado. They're full of color and specifics (like an outrageously priced menu board in the movie theater on the Hollywood map). The background details such as the far-off, massive robots on the Volskaya Industries map, are impressive. Volskaya Industries map, impress. It's possible to have fun wandering around each level, taking in the virtual world.
A novel and potentially dangerous move, Overwatch avoid many of the traditional shooter games such as Team Deathmatch in favor of games that promote collaboration. Initially, I was skeptical about this idea but my doubts have diminished as I've tried Overwatch. The result is that teamwork is the Overwatch's most important characteristic and it's smart of Blizzard to concentrate on this strength whenever it is feasible.

A lot of attention has been paid to Bastion's ability to defend as a character, but as Kotaku has noted that there are plenty of Bastion counters in the Overwatch roster. Genji is one example. This kind of exchange and taking ought to create some interesting games at higher levels.
It's operating smoothly
Each map is unique and features a distinct theme and is set in the Overwatch universe. Each map is beautifully created and specifically designed for all of the different characters of the game. They include cool features like ledges that only characters who have upward mobility (Pharah, D.Va) can get access to, ambush areas for characters such as Roadhog and Bastion as well as health packs that are hidden into tiny alcoves, and a variety of alternative routes around the map. Every map is so packed with a character that it is a must to slow down and be attentive, you'll notice a wealth of tiny aspects. This is a small amount of compensation for the game's absence of a classic "story style".

DORADO, MEXICO—Today, a defiant Guillermo Portero announced that he is temporarily stepping down as CEO of LumériCo following recent revelations by the Sombra hacker collective, unprecedented protests, and widespread civil unrest that took place yesterday. Perhaps the most visible evidence of the incidents can be seen in the widespread pro-Sombra graffiti that has been reported around the world.
While his long-term future at LumériCo is still in doubt, sources within the company believe that this could be the end for the popular executive. However, they stressed that he has not officially resigned or been relieved of his duties, as some within the company still have faith in the charismatic leader.

Whether the move will appease public opinion that has turned against LumériCo in recent weeks remains to be seen. Portero has reiterated that he expects to be fully exonerated pending the authorities' review of the company's conduct and a continued investigation into the hacking of LumériCo systems that led to the release of e-mails.
Lost in the recent news is a reported second breach into the LumériCo systems, which has security insiders concerned that the company's wide-ranging network infrastructure could still be compromised.  Similar breaches have been reported around the world including, most recently, Volskaya Industries, Russia’s premier anti-omnic security force.
