I've been trying to figure out pricings for offering some writing commissions, along with setting up a ko-fi to accept payment and tips. I'm thinking something like a $1 every 100 words? So it would be $10 per 1,000 words.
that seems to be about standard for writing comms from what I've seen here on tumblr.
The paid for words would act like a minimum wordcount that you would be guaranteed to recieve, and words I write over what's paid for would be bonus. (For instance, if I fall in love with a concept I'm not going to snip the story i am writing short, or charge for extra words that the story needs)
I'm also thinking of putting out an 'update priority' price for any of my wips currently up on AO3 (Dragonfrost, Emberfish, Voiceless, and ILORB). That would act more as a 'work on this au/work next please' sort of thing, rather than a commission where I write something completely new. It will probably be a $20-30 flat rate.
At this point i'm just trying to gauge interest to see if it would be something worth doing.
Any money I would receive would go directly into helping me write more, by making sure I can keep a roof over my head and food on my shelves.

That Vivi chick is a sad case. She hates Calvin Harris with a passion, used to trash him weekly and talk about his girlfriend being pathetic, such a hypocrite. She also imagines Toilet can get any man she wants and that's why she hates DEBJ, because he is bland and nothing special. I remember her thinking Prince Harry would have wanted Toilet, but had to settle for Meghan, she's delusional.
She’s also had multiple blogs that she keeps changing names because she’s a shipper until it turns out she’s wrong then she deletes that blog and starts a new one. She’s been idreamofkitty, taycissist, viviasks who knows how many others- she clearly got tired of being a TS fan because she can’t ship her anymore so she latched onto Tom and infected our fandom.

yknow I was wondering why conjoinment is like a "thing" for some people. do you think it stems from some form of separation anxiety, or a desire for that level of intimacy? I know it's some real armchair psychology, but I think it's kinda fun to think about stuff like that I guess, lol
Speaking from personal experience, I can say with absolute certainty that separation anxiety played a role in mine! I've heard enough horror stories about my separation anxiety as a baby to know that the idea of "someone always being here with me no matter what" would have been very appealing to me. Even today, if it was possible, I'd prefer to live stuck to a close friend or two than have to leave them physically for so long.
Also, talking from my asexual perspective, I feel like there's a lot of appeal to the interpersonal dynamic that'd come from the restrictions of conjoinment! Consider a whole body and the physical sensations that come with it being shared - to me it would ease or even fully circumvent the barriers that come from my sex repulsion. On top of that, it's a type of intimacy that doesn't come with any preestablished social expectations, so to indulge with someone inherently already means only what you want it to!
Additionally is the representation of plurality. In terms of multiple identities/parts/what-have-you in a system, it can make sense to find appeal in, and desire to represent yourself as, a conjoined figure. Many of my fellow plural friends in this circle find comfort and "gender" in this type of form, though the intricacies there too vary from system to system!
Of course, there are even more facets to this interest too! One day, I think it would be nice for this interest in whole to be more professionally examined. Fetishes and their tangents are massively under-studied, and I believe have the potential to tell us a lot about the human experience! Thank you for the inquiry, and I hope I didn't talk both of your ears off simultaneously, haha...!

#Dragonfrost au - this au is pretty evenly split between here and ao3. the 'official' fic is over on ao3, but there is a lot of worldbuilding and general silliness over here on tumblr, as well as worldbuilding. It's a dark ranchers au with a dragon!Tango and warlock!Jimmy, with a dnd inspired setting and magic system. Giggs+Pearl are planned to make a significant appearance, but i'm not sure when as this au is being written chronologically. unlike emberfish.
