The continued horror over Hogwarts food being absolutely unseasoned and covered in gravy will never not be funny.
Though in this one it would probably feature Harry writing home complaining that he hasn’t had a fresh vegetable that wasn’t boiled in months and god forbid he wants fruit in this place. Not to mention his horror over the milk.

Kohaku Namasu (Red and white-vinegared food) (cooking)
It is often made as a New Year's dish. Carrots and daikon radishes are sliced into strips and tossed with sweet and sour vinegar. Because the power of vinegar inactivates the ascorbic acid degrading enzyme contained in carrots, the vitamin C in radishes is preserved. An eye-catching dish with red carrots and white radishes.

正月料理に作られることが多い。人参と大根を、細切りにして甘酢で和えたもの。人参に含まれるアスコルビン酸分解酵素が、酢の力で不活性化するので、大根のビタミンCが保存される。赤と白で、お目出度い料理。

A bad habit I have is whenever I see a skincare product, perfume, or candle fragrance I’m like “I can make that, and I can make it better”
So when I saw the collab with floun and mx and their carrot serum I’m just like mmmmmmmmmMMMMMMMM
But instead of making my own carrot serum out of spite, I’m gonna make a nourishing oat milk serum (on top of my rose milk serum and acne cream serum)

What do you start your morning with if you don’t drink coffee?
Black tea! Similar amount of coffeine as a Latte too if what I was told is correct. I like mine darker and without much sugar, but putting cinnamon in is very nice too. Or juice lol, can’t go wrong with juice.

Taro and carrot stewed in miso (cooking)
Peel the skin of the taro, boil it and set aside. Stir-fry carrots, dried shiitake mushrooms, and kelp in olive oil, add water and sugar, and bring to a boil. When the carrots are moderately soft, combine with the taro, simmer further, and add chopped ginger. Add miso, bring to a boil, add garlic and rue leaves for fragrance. All the ingredients were very soft and finished.
(Vitamin A from carrots and kelp, and vitamin D from dried shiitake mushrooms are extracted in oil and are easily absorbed by the body, so they are fried in advance.)

里芋は皮を剥き、茹でて取っておく。人参、干しシイタケ、昆布をオリーブオイルで炒め、水と砂糖を入れ、煮る。人参がほどほどに柔らかくなったら、里芋と合わせ、さらに煮込み、刻み生姜を加える。味噌を加え、一煮立ちさせて、ニンニク、ヘンルーダの葉を加えて香り付け。すべての食材がとても柔らかく仕上がった。
(人参と昆布のビタミンA、干しシイタケのビタミンDは油に抽出され、体に吸収されやすくなるので、あらかじめ炒めるわけ。)
