I created this illustration for @fountainvalleyschool based on one of my favorite photos of founding faculty, Boardman Robinson, painting the mural in Sage. Before Robinson taught at FVS and helped found the @fineartscenter, he was a war correspondent and political cartoonist. He used art to document conflict in Eastern Europe, and while I’m not going to war, I’m going to begin documenting my own experiences through my sketchbook and painting as I hit the road for the next 5 months.
