question, as a fellow pokemon enthusiast, what's your favorite pokemon and why? if you can't pick one, give me a few! my favorite are shinx and sylveon :))

OOOOOH I LOVE THIS QUESTION oki so, I have a shitload of favorite pokemon but I have 6 that I really love n those r Sceptile, Hypno, Azumarill, Quagsire, Voltorb n Alolan Raichu :33

Hypno because I have a pokemon universe I made up w ocs n such and he's a MAJOR major character in it (all my favs r in it actually) , but I originally started loving him because of SoulSilver n HeartGold. It was the first pokemon game where your pokemon could follow u around n I would always have Hypno follow me because his text lines were very silly n that's when he started growing on me, but the creepypasta n the fnf mod also boosted my love for him

Sceptile has been my favorite pokemon ever since I was a toddler n if I really had to choose a fav from the 6 I mentioned it would be Sceptile. The anime is what made me start loving the entire evolution line, the angst w him was craaazy. I genuinely cannot express in words how much I adore Sceptile he means a lot 2 me

Azumarill became one of my favs during lockdown. I did a pkmn ruby nuzlocke n she together w Sceptile were absolutely carrying my team and obv I grew attached + rabbits r one or my fav animals so that's a bonus

Quagsire is just Quagsire. It's awesome it's amazing I love him. No idea how or why I started loving him as much as I do today but I do and I would die for him.

Voltorb is silly. I have my pokesona who's partner is a Voltorb n it just follows her around n it's so kyoot, Voltorb is underrated

Alolan Raichu I kinda have a history with. When gen 7 first released n I looked through the Pokedex I just saw it n went "THAT'S THE ONE." n immediately became a fan. The first ever box of Pokemon cards I ever got was Alolan Raichu themed, my mascot on instagram was Alolan Raichu before I changed it to Randy, my first ever alolan pokemon I got (if we don't count the starters) was Alolan Raichu in pokemon ultra moon, it's just been present in my life in one way or another ever since it was first presented n I love it dearly

Charon - yes THE Charon, ferryman extraordinaire - made his entrance into Elysium when Prince Tory recently upgraded the Styx ferry system and added fleets of many boats, allowing Charon to go on break for the first time in all eternity

due to spending his entire existence ferrying shades across a river 24/7 Charon is super shy & social awkward lmao but very very sweet 🥹

This drawing is - he ended up getting a whole double sleeve tattoo of moths and lanterns after some time in the palace, due to his fondness for all the little moths that would cluster around the light on his boat 🥺 I…….. hate drawing tattoos itdfkFGKFK it’s haRDDDD here he is with inspo moth instead aGHH,, tattoos of course done by Meno who I posted yesterday!

Charon’s best claim to fame within the palace is the casual throuple he’s a part of made up of Hecate, & Loki’s son Fenris which is mostly consisted of Charon following both of them around with heart eyes. kyoot idk

A lil sneak peak of the fic I’m writing that has kid Vegas!!

Suddenly the boy was tackled to the ground. He looked up at whoever did it, who was still on top of him by the way, ready to punch them and maybe do worst. Only to find the boy he met the day before, Vegas. He had a huge grin on his face, and Najih was willing to bet everything he owned that if he had a tail it would be wagging. "You came!" Vegas declared, happiness seeping out of his voice. The grey eyed child frowned slightly "I said I would, I don't like breaking promises" he replied, to which Vegas only giggled, which for some odd reasons sent butterflies to Najih's stomach, before his father picked up from the poor boy.

"Vegas" his father said sternly "don't jump on the poor boy, let him breathe a bit would you?" Vegas only frowned at his dad and started kicking his feet "I don't care! I wanna go play with my friend now!" Najih blinked at that. Were they, friends, now?When did that happen? How do you act as friends? Is it the same as being family? If so he'd much rather not have any friends. But instead of voicing any of his concerns he just stood up and dusted his outfit.

"It's quite alright sir" said Layla as she approached the black hair boy and ruffled his hair lightly "I told Vegas that we would be returning today and he would get to play with my boy, if anything it is my fault" Vegas placed his hands on his hips and raised his head, like he just won a lawsuit or something. "I see" said his father "I suppose the two of them should head off to play now then".

He beamed at his fathers words before rushing up at Najih and grabbing his hand "hear that?!" He exclaimed happily "You and I get to play all day together" the boy said with a giggle. Najih quickly glanced at his mother, who only nodded her head at the child, before smiling slightly at the slightly taller kid -like very slightly, if he hadn't been taught to notice even the smallest detail he wouldn't have realized it- and nodding at him. "Alright then, where do you want to go?" Vegas seemed to stop functioning for a bit as he blinked at his new friend, then he went back to smiling widely before rushing off with Najih still in his hand.

I suck at receiving compliments - and I hesitated to post this bc there are plenty of other Eddies and Chrissies out there, some of whom I know (either personally or thru mutuals even tho we've never spoken) and I don't want to make anyone feel bad or start shit/drama or seem arrogant or like I have an ego.

It does mean a lot though, so thank you.

Vic is an amazing writing partner and an even better friend.You can compliment her all day and I'll be right there with you echoing and amplifying the sentiment. It's much deserved. She'd probably be all "stop" and "it's a partnership", and that's true, but.MER, as the kids say. I adore our threads, and I adore her.

All our own personal hellcheer-isms and headcanons, the lore we've built. Love it all! They went out into the world, taking a fake it til you make it approach towards adulting - and while it's all very domestic, it's never boring. It's kyoot, imho.Tbqh I never consider/care if anyone else pays attention bc we do it for our own entertainment/enjoyment, but that you like our stuff is incredibly humbling/flattering. I'm sure @havvkinsqueen feels the same.

In my version of the popular AU, Luke is the Crown Prince of the Galactic Empire. The galaxy knows him as the son of Sheev Palpatine and Padmé Amidala (yuck!); this narrative was perpetuated by COMPNOR to garner wider support from those who idolized the late senator. The story goes that Padmé was murdered by the jedi because they were against her secret affair with the chancellor, but Darth Vader was able to save their child at the last minute.

Luke was raised at Varykino by the Naberrie family in accordance with Naboo tradition. They were his only true source of love during his childhood, and they helped him to be in touch with his culture. He grew up under the watchful eyes of his two Noghri bodyguards, Ahkelar and Arakhmil; despite their gruff exteriors, they are very caring. When he isn't on Naboo, he is often at the side of Darth Vader, his mentor and protector. Vader is stern and cold by nature, but he refrains from actually harming Luke. Luke both respects and fears Vader, viewing him as more of a father figure than Palpatine could ever be.

Palpatine's reasoning behind Luke being the Crown Prince is so he can be the poster boy for the Empire, as well as to torture Vader with his presence. Vader's son--the son he thought he lost--is alive, and Palpatine stole him. However, he is secretly training Luke to eventually overthrow the Emperor; as much as Luke hates the man he thinks is his father, he isn't elated about eventually taking his place. Palpatine's ultimate goal is to have Luke 'succeed' him while he would still be pulling the strings behind the scenes, but Vader wants him dead.

Vader was entrusted to train Luke in the ways of dark side, but not in the ways of the Sith so he wouldn't be a threat to Palpatine. This was followed to a certain point; while Vader didn't train Luke in the ways of the Sith, he also didn't exclusively train Luke in the ways of the dark side. Vader doesn't want Luke to be truly evil because he knows it would break Padmé's heart--he did it once, and he never wants to do it again. Ultimately, Luke doesn't see the force as being separated into the dark and the light, he just sees it as the force because that is what he was taught. Luke has multiple lightsabers that he made and collected--yellow, orange, pink, purple--but no red lightsabers, as he uses the dark side but isn't truly a darksider.

For the Luke Skywalker headcanons--um...he loves to ride speeder bikes like a lunatic...you would hang on behind him for dear life. He loves to cook but he's not very good at it... Except maybe one recipe he totally rocks. And he is open to any and all wacky sexual fantasies so bring 'em on, you'll never know unless you try... 😈

As a teenager back on Tatooine, he used to practice on Uncle Owen's old speeder bike in his spare time, which ultimately gave him a few injuries and Corellian-level maneuverability. Luke can also pull off some insane tricks with those force-heightened reflexes of his. He likes to take you on joyrides across whatever planet you're currently on, which occasionally involves riding off the edge of cliffs. It honestly scares the shit out of you, but you can never get mad at him because he always has total control and nothing bad ever ends up happening (even though it doesn't always feel that way).

Luke is a surprisingly domestic guy and is 10/10 husband material. Having grown up on a farm where every life skill is a requirement for survival, he knows how to cook, clean, sew and knit, repair things, etc. He may not always be the best at everything, but he never complains about doing chores and you can always count on him to get them done. Over the years, he's discovered that having a peaceful settled life is a luxury in this galaxy, so he never takes the home you've built together for granted. When it comes to cooking, he's very enthusiastic about experimenting with new recipes from all over the galaxy. Sometimes he gets a little too enthusiastic and accidentally sets the kitchen on fire. However, he does makes an effort to figure out what your favorite dishes are and get really, really good at making them.

For the last part... we already know he's a very curious and creative person--and he's a total simp--so he's willing to do literally anything to make you happy. I like to think the force would be involved somehow. And maybe his x-wing. Don't ask.

to expand on the artistic tendencies you detailed a while back: something in which Reader discovers Luke's sketchbook tucked in amongst his gear or something and he feels some way about it. ♥️

You and Luke have a lot of trust in your relationship. However, he's still inclined to keep some things to himself, and you respect his privacy.

But you never expected him to be an artist.

For context, you didn't go snooping in his stuff--going through someone's sketchbook without their permission is a serious crime--you found his sketchbook purely by accident. Luke had left the mess hall in a hurry to make it to a rebel briefing, leaving a small, jerba leather-bound book on the bench next to you. Assuming it was some kind of journal where he kept tabs on important information regarding all things jedi, you slipped it in among your gear for safekeeping until his meeting wrapped up.

The sea of orange flightsuit-clad pilots signaled to you the meeting ended, so you rushed into the crowd to find Luke. It didn't take you long to spot the golden blonde hair of your lover as he made his way toward you.

"I'm glad I caught you, Y/N!" Luke cheered, drawing you in for one of his signature bear hugs.

"I'm glad, too! I have something for you." You reached into your jacket and a look of relief crossed his face as you pulled out the little book. The leather binding the book was worn and slightly faded and some of the pages had prominent wrinkles, but you could tell he treated it with great care.

"My sketchbook! I can't believe I left that behind, thank you for finding it!"

"Sketchbook?"

"Aunt Beru got it for me after Uncle Owen scolded me for doodling on the dining room table. It's one of the few things I've kept from Tatooine since I left." He laughed softly, looking at the sketchbook with fondness that made your heart ache.

"I didn't realize you were an artist... I don't mean that as an insult! I just didn't look inside."

"Would you like to?" You nodded, and he flipped open the sketchbook.

Your jaw dropped--he was incredible! Even at a young age, he demonstrated great talent by capturing the minute details of his T-16 starfighter. Portraits of who you assumed to be his family and friends from Tatooine filled the early pages of the sketchbook, as well as rough sketches of the planet's barren landscape. The further you got in the sketchbook, the more drawings you saw of familiar faces like Leia, Han, Chewie, and the droids. It was fascinating watching his art style morph over time as his skills increased, but what remained constant throughout was the love he poured into everything. Soon enough, you reached a part of the book where your likeness adorned almost all the pages. Phrases like "my love" and "the light of my galaxy" accompanied the sketches of your face.

You looked towards Luke, who scratched the back of his neck nervously. "Luke... this is amazing! You're really talented!"

"You really think so?"

Right as you were about to reply, you were cut off by Wedge Antilles informing Luke that Rogue Squadron was about to take off.

"I guess it's time for me to go, Y/N," he said, placing the sketchbook back into your hands. "Can you hold on to this for me?"

You nodded and kissed him one last time before he made his way toward his x-wing. Even after watching him fly away to fight in some valiant battle in the far reaches of space, you still couldn't fathom what you did to deserve Luke Skywalker trusting you with such an intimate piece of him. You held the sketchbook to your chest and smiled, knowing that you were connected to him even if you were galaxies apart.

Me: wants to make another afterlife story but can only have ideas for Lizzie and gets stuck on everyone else.

sad.

here have a short story of Raccoon Lizzie and her sorta parent sorta abducted pet

there was an old red brick building.

It once was a popular apartment building, but something happened and soon it wqs abandonned. No story could ever agree on why.

Some said a spirit killed inhabitants. Some said the floors fell through.

All that Humy knew was that it had been so thorougly abandoned that his daughter managed to completly rebuild the interior without anyone even noticing.

Daughter? The villager snorted, as he turned the page, amused at himself. When did the small pink haired raccoon hybrid become his daughter?

Maybe when she first grabbed his sleeve and dragged him away from his group of..

Well he wasnt sure what to call them, but they hadnt been friends.

Or it had been when she started calling him Humy, or more likely it was when she modified his room so he had more room, or when she ran to him, crying after she heard a thunderstorm.

All he knew was that he was now Humy, and his daughter was a pink haired racoon hybrid, who wore big oversized hoodies with racoon inspired hoods, and striped leggings instead of pants. Who’s tail bushes up when she got scared, and often needed broken branches picked out of her hair. And who tried to find a way to understand him, despite him being mute and her illiterate. And who loved his cooking, despite the fact he knew it was absolutely horrible and his famous suspicious soup could probably kill most people.

“HUMY! Im home!” A voice called from downstairs. Humy laughed silently and tapped his foot on the floor, signaling where he was to his daughter

“I found some things that would go great with your stew! And a weird looking apple.” She continued, her voice moving around downstairs, likely going through her chests. Lord only knows how she could find anything in that disorganized mess.

“Also! Some weird hot guy tried to talk to me!”

That made Humy pause. Lizzie was rarely spotted when she was on trash runs.

“Like. He was on fire. It was very warm around him. He called me c.. cuuu.. i dont remember how he pronounced it but it was like.. kyoot?! Kyot? Kyutee? Dont remember. Do you know what that word means Humy?”

The former villager breathed out through their nose heavily, and tapped the floor once.

“You do?! Oh I wish you could tell me what it means. Is it an insult?”

Two taps.

“Well good! If he was insulting me without me knowing that’d be even ruder than just insulting me! I would have to find him and punch him.”

Humy laughed to himself, as the pink haired raccoon hybrid came up to the library. She quickly curled up on Humy’s lap, making him move his book.

“Wake me up when it’s closer to diner time.” She announced, and promptly fell asleep.

Humy smiled, and turned the page again.

He silently mouths the lyrics to the song playing in his ear buds, one of the first singles that he and Vash ever produced. The upcoming set was mostly to promote their latest album, but since the venue was being held for their fan club specifically, doing callbacks to their origins seemed to be a smart touch. Just a little example of how they could 'give back to their fans', as his twin would put it.

Even the choreography he barely remembered, it had been that long since they'd performed this particular track in front of a live audience. A few missteps and fudges with the cues later and Nai sighs roughly, walking over to his smart phone to halt the music player.

It didn't help that his heart simply wasn't in it that day.

Even though he knows it's a terrible idea, he opens up a disposable phone to do a little egosurfing- Though he almost never pays attention to his own fans, only his brother's. He'd always been very protective over Vash and well... old habits die hard, especially when considering how vicious netizens could be over the slightest mistake or social faux pas.

Low and behold, he manages to find some human garbage comparing he and his sibling, claiming that 'Nai has all of the talent of the pair, Vash just gets by on his looks- He's lucky he's cute'.

His grip on the phone tightens, Nai folding his legs beneath him and hovering over the keypad with both thumbs at the ready.

uhm, lol, excuse u? it's really f'd up to compare them liek that... Vash is obvs the better dancer also lol r u even a fan??? ㅇ_O N E way... excited 4 the next fan meetup ★^^★

That seems to quell the flaming for now, more fans stepping up in Vash's defense and crowding out the people making unfair comparisons.

can't wait 4 mai handshake w/ Vashhhh *_* ikr he's sooo kyoot up close!!! omg

He scrolls and refreshes the page a few times just to make sure everything is civil, then shuts the phone again- Setting the numerical lockscreen so no one can see his anonymous commentary.
