Hello hello! Happy 11th Anniversary for Chameleon Charm! And Happy Birthday to Veronica! Again, apologies for being so quiet again - I said last year we would hopefully get back on track and though I haven't gotten things completely on track -YET- I have been working on things over the year to... do it soon, again lol. The last year has been a little rough for me, but things are getting a bit better and I hope to get Chapter 6 going again real soon. I've been working on the script and pages and putting together some things for some CC related projects. That includes, of course, getting Chapter 6 back up and running, working on the Chapters 1-5 omnibus book, and hopefully, migrating the comic from the Tumblr site it is currently hosted on to a standalone site that has better mobile accessibility. LIVERMORE, CA–Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2019, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is the irresistible family musical about the trials and triumphs of Joseph, Israel’s favorite son. Told entirely through song with the help of a main character Narrator, the musical follows the preferred son Joseph. After being sold into slavery by his brothers, he ingratiates himself with Egyptian noble Potiphar, but ends up in jail after refusing the amorous advances of Potiphar’s wife. While imprisoned, Joseph discovers his ability to interpret dreams, and he soon finds himself in front of the mighty but troubled, Elvis-inspired, Pharaoh. Joseph’s solution to Egypt’s famine elevates him to Pharaoh’s right-hand man and reunites him with his family.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is an audience favorite show. The music is an eclectic group of songs that cover Country-Western, Calypso, French Chanson, Elvis-style rock and Pop. The show is fast paced, the dance numbers are big and lots of fun. There is a children’s choir that remains on stage and is incorporated into the show. And as always with Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre, make sure to leave some extra time after the show to stay in the lobby since many cast members come out to meet the audience after each performance.

Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat opens on July 20, 2019. The show runs July 20, 27, Aug 3 at 8:00pm and July 21, 28, Aug 3, 4 at 2:00pm. Performances are Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm with an additional Saturday matinee on August 3 at 2pm and is rated PG. All caught up on the Owl House recently and... well, why not? It's been a while since I've done a Chameleon Charm crossover. Bumped the colors a bit, but not sure if it was necessary or not. Whatever, still a fun little side exercise ^^ Ferdinand would probably be a wild witch with a preference for fire and abomination magic, and Veronica uhm... I'm not sure., lol.

Mystery Skull - Ghost inspired bobs!

I finally sat down and played with the puppets a bit to emulate the bob, again as seen in Mystery Ben's post of the puppet wire frame and bob animations (see here)

They're a bit off and not as good as I'd like them to be, but I feel I've spent too much time on them as it is, so I think I'm gonna leave them as they are for the time being. It's one of my first times actually animating a puppet I've made on Flash, though I've only actually done that one other time before.

I think they still came out rather nice though as an experiment thing, so whoo! Yay for learning!

Again, these are puppets for characters from my webcomic, Chameleon Charm and I think they look fun in this style : )

Just so you all know, I've been on the Mystery Skulls - Ghost bandwagon for a little while now, but it's been the shadow bandwagon, hence why I haven't actually drawn anything really for it...

However, I just saw the character puppets on Mystery Ben's blog and I really liked them, so I decided to fool around in Flash for the last... holy shit, it's nearly 6:30AM?? .... Hmm. Well, apparently I've been fooling around in Flash for the last 10 hours.

Anyway, here's the fruits of my labor, after getting painfully reacquainted with the Pen tool, the bane of my (and probably human) existence.

There's no fancy gradient work or whatever, cause frankly, I don't remember how to do that and I wasn't bothered enough to look it up, haha. I'll probably add that stuff later, cause right now, I kinda need to crash (or sit in bed and play Pokemon; whichever).

But yeah, we have Veronica and Ferdinand from my webcomic, Chameleon Charm, here, done sorta in the style. I tried anyway.

From left to right, we have human Veronica and Ferdinand in their usual colour palettes.

The next set is basically the same, though I bumped up their colours, cause I thought it might fit better with the other designs, considering I tend to use rather dark/under saturated colours and the ones from the video are nice and coloured.

The last set is Veronica and Ferdinand as ghosts, cause, why not. Again, no fancy gradient stuff, but whatever, I think they came out nice.

I was just having fun with these and I might try to animate the little bob, just for the heck of it. That and... these are Flash puppets (hopefully) set up to do that, soooo I might as well try it seeing as I just spent 10+ hours playing around instead of just doodling these up on SAI lol.

Anyway, I'm ranting - lol I doubt you guys will bother reading this rambly paragraph, but if you do, you get a cookie! But yeah, ranting, getting off track, tangents, oo look something shiny, I should go to bed. Or play Pokemon. Or go to bed. Or play Pokemon...

Whichever I do, I hope you guys enjoy these. They were fun to do, but it still doesn't make me hate the Pen tool any less, hahaha.

Been playing a lot of Don't Starve after finally buying the Reign of Giants DLC, so I decided to draw Veronica and Ferdinand Don't Starve style! If I had the ability to make awesome mods, I would love to make a mod for the game to play as either of them, but until I get access to such abilities and whatnot, I can just draw pictures for now, hahah.

Apparently teleported from another world while on a quest for her lost brother, Veronica finds herself in a strange land, tasked with staying alive. Scared, yet determined, she'll try her best to do so while trying to find a way back home.

She automatically comes equipped with Veronica's Bag, which provides an early 4-extra item slots, and Ferdinand the Chameleon, a strange, purple chameleon that can transform into a sword, a lantern, or an umbrella for a short period of time. Once a transformations runs out though, Ferdinand goes through a cooldown period and can't be used again until this period runs its course.

As a child, her attacks are weaker than other characters and unfortunately, due to her low cooking skills, food doesn't restore the usual amount of Health, Hunger, or Sanity than usual. Despite being dressed in a scarf and jacket, these items do not provide warmth in the Winter Season.

Another vistor teleported from a different world, Ferdinand is the human form of Veronica's chameleon, granted a new form with the help of his Charm. Separated from Veronica, he has to survive in order to find her and hopefully find a way back home.

Ferdinand comes with Ferdinand's Charm, an item that serves as an infinite amount of light. It also allows Ferdinand to conjure green flames that can set enemies on fire from afar as well as ignite objects as a Torch would. Ferdinand, being a magic user himself, doesn't suffer the same Sanity draining effects while using magical items as other characters, but is still affected by the other Sanity draining factors.

Ferdinand's cooking ability is higher than Veronica's and as such, any cooked foods or foods made with a Crock Pot will provide a slightly higher amount of Health, Hunger, or Sanity than usual. Like Veronica, his scarf is merely for show, and does not provide additional warmth in the Winter Season.
