I decided to make some infographics explaining more about Mitty and her family and the like, and kinda sorta start hinting at her backstory before she moved to Sandrock some! there's more info that needs to be uncovered, be it in lil infographics like these or me going insane and revealing them in comics, but here's what i have for now! i'll likely be making some more while brainstorming comic ideas!!

You guys dont understand how insane pikmin lore is. Theres the implication that the pikmin men are direct evolutionary descendants of humans in the shepard logs in p4, as well as the implication that the space dogs evolved from earth dogs in the same way. Meanwhile on earth itself humanity and nature as we know it has been so long extinct that mammals are no longer the primary lifeform (per the p4 amprat desc) and most of life on the planet is insects or plantlife of some sort. Plants have become so close to animals in dna structure that telling them apart is near impossible with some creatures especially when the pikmin themselves are parasites capable of restructuring the dna of their hosts. Theres a forcefield around the planet that causes any ships to crash upon entry. Meanwhile houses and living spaces like grills and gardens remain untouched as if frozen in time. In p1 theres the implication of nuclear fallout. What the fuck happened to the earth in pikmin what the fuck HAPPENED to humanity and mammals hello hello. Im going crazy.
