🌙 staring. Wonwoo x afab!Reader
🔮 preview. “He deserved it,” Wonwoo assures you, reaching out to grab you by the back of the neck, pulling you closer. He’s covered in blood, and he looks like a sexy, wild monster. But he’s your monster, and you can’t help but react, leaning in- “Jesus Christ,” you hear Jeonghan breathe, turning to give you and Wonwoo privacy while he presses his lips against yours hungrily. At first, you can try to ignore the wet liquid on your fingertips as you grab at his strong shoulders, but you can’t ignore the taste on his tongue. Your body goes rigid and Wonwoo pulls back with a sigh, resting his forehead against yours. It’s an oddly peaceful moment amongst the chaos.

There’s something different about you, and Wonwoo notices the moment you step into the bar. He has his fair share of experience with places that cater to vampires, and after over a hundred years, he knows how to spot humans with an interest in his kind. Many of the women swarming around him have a certain look in their eye, their pulses racing with excitement, but you… well, there’s something off about the way you hold yourself.
You certainly look the part of a fang bunny, your attire all black, but you’re dressed much more conservatively than the lingerie clad girls that normally frequent this place. Still, even with your form half hidden under a leather jacket, Wonwoo can tell he likes what he sees of you.
Some of his friends like the hunt. They have big egos and take pleasure in chasing their food down, but Wonwoo doesn’t share in this thirst for a conquest. He won’t approach you, he’ll simply watch. It will be amusing to see what you end up doing tonight if nothing else.
His eyes follow you as you head to the bar, leaning over the counter to talk with one of the human workers. From a distance, and with the bar practically full of noise, Wonwoo can’t make out your words, but that doesn’t really matter to him. You’re interesting enough to watch, but Wonwoo’s not sure he’d actually care for anything you have to say, especially not when he can stare at your ass instead.
The discussion is a short one, and Wonwoo catches the bartender nodding in his direction. This is new behaviour, but the vampire supposes he shouldn’t be shocked at the loose lipped humans who work here. No one keeps a secret like a vampire, and as Wonwoo watches you slip a bill over the counter, he’s filled with annoyance at the money hunger of mere mortals.
You slip into the crowd again, and it’s clear you’re making your way over toward the elevated section of the club, where Wonwoo sits at a table drinking what appears to be red wine with two of his broodmates.
“Who are you watching?” Mingyu asks, leaning forward to get a better look.
“No one important,” Wonwoo responds smoothly, swirling the blood in his wine glass before downing it. He’s curious as to what will happen next, and if you are coming over in the hopes of being bitten, he wants to be satiated enough to not give into the temptation of draining you.
Vampire bars generally have a strict no killing policy. The underworld has few sanctuaries like this one, and they can’t have human law enforcement going through their ‘wine barrels’ if a murder takes place in or around the property.
Wonwoo’s eyes find you again. You’re much closer now, and your gaze is fixed on him. You’re like a cute little butterfly heading straight for the spider’s web, and it makes Wonwoo grin to himself.
He stands up from the booth when you’re a few feet away, and Wonwoo notes your pulse quicken, your steps faltering. To your credit, Wonwoo is much larger now than when he was sitting, and he has to lower his gaze to meet your own. “Are you lost?” he asks, taking in your outfit at a leisurely pace now that you’re right in front of him.
“No, I-” You take a breath. “Are you Wonwoo?”
“Depends who’s asking,” he muses.
“I’ve been looking for you,” you try to explain, raising your voice over the noise of the bar.
Wonwoo can hear you perfectly fine, but he knows the noise must be difficult on your weak human ears. He leans forward. “Sounds interesting. Let’s step outside to talk, it’s too loud in here.”
He watches the way you pause, considering the proposition.
You’re definitely not a fang bunny. Any vampire lover would jump at the chance to get alone with him. You’re much too guarded, and it intrigues him even more.
“Okay,” you nod.
Wonwoo steps closer, hand finding the small of your back as he begins to guide you through the club toward the back exit. You stiffen under his touch, and Wonwoo’s fingers skim over the hilt of what he presumes to be a blade under your leather jacket.
He wonders how you got in with a badly concealed weapon, but he supposes the human bouncers can be just as susceptible to bribery as bartenders can. He’ll have to talk with the club owner about hiring vampire security, even if such jobs are ‘below’ his kind.
Your heart rate is increasing with each step, but you’re doing your best to breathe evenly, and Wonwoo is amused by it. Either you know he’s a vampire, in which case, you should know you can’t fool him, or, maybe you’re just stupid, he can’t quite tell.
Wonwoo’s heart doesn’t beat. It hasn’t in too many years to count, but he gets that familiar tingle of excitement running along his skin as he gets closer to the door that will lead you behind the bar. You’re not a sure catch, not what Mingyu would fondly call a ‘cute juicebox.’ Wonwoo’s always been curious, and his interest is peaked by the unknown outcome of this interaction.
As you make it to the exit, Wonwoo holds the door open for you. With one last pause, you walk through.
The vampire grins to himself, following you into the night.
The alleyway is deserted, the perfect spot for Wonwoo to figure you out.
His eyes follow you as you put a few feet of distance between him and yourself, running an anxious hand through your hair.
“You were just about to tell me why you’re looking for me,” Wonwoo says, pretending to be helpful, when in reality, he only wants to satiate his own curiosity.
“I heard you might know someone I’ve been trying to find, a Mister Sung.”
Wonwoo’s throat tightens. He hasn’t heard his maker’s name in many years. It frustrates him that it still has an effect on him, and Wonwoo’s fist clenches at his side. “I don’t know anyone by that name,” he lies.
“I’ve been told you do,” you insist.
He’s tired of you now, anger growing by the second inside of him.
“I don’t know anyone by that name,” Wonwoo repeats, unable to say the name in question. He refuses to taste it on his lips again, and he can feel his fangs beginning to throb, his need to taste something sweeter growing as he stares you down.
You begin to reach for your jacket, but you’re much too slow for the older vampire, who immediately catches your wrist in a vice grip.
“Don’t grab your weapon,” he warns. “It will only make me harder on you.”
Your pulse is racing now. Wonwoo can see your carotid artery leaping against your skin. He holds back a groan, stepping closer.
You move away, back hitting the brick wall behind you.
“Nowhere to run,” Wonwoo muses. “You’re a vampire hunter, aren’t you, darling? Shame. I’ve never seen a hunter move as slow as you do. But I guess these days there aren’t many people who could teach you the craft, I’ve killed my share of them.”
Your pupils dilate with fear, and it makes Wonwoo’s head spin. He’s going to enjoy this.
The club might have a no killing humans policy, but vampire hunters are free game. He’ll be doing everyone a favour, and get his fill while doing it.
“Stop-” You gasp, struggling against his grip, but Wonwoo’s hands might as well be metal, as there’s no way you’re breaking free of him.
He’s grown tired of this. As a curious human who may have walked into the wrong bar, you’d been interesting, but as a vampire hunter with no skill, you mean nothing to him.
He’s amused when you try to punch at him with your free hand, but that only leads to him grabbing it and pinning it with your other wrist, squeezing you tight enough to have you gasping again.
With both your wrists captured in one hand, he’s free to bring the other to your face, pinching your jaw. “Don’t scream,” he warns you, “and don’t struggle, you’ll only make things worse.”
Wonwoo’s gotten accustomed to staring into a person’s eyes as they realize they’ve just met death himself, and he’ll never get tired of it. He licks his lips, able to taste your fear in the cold night air. His self control has worn thin, but Wonwoo’s never been the type to hold himself back from an easy kill.
With one sharp motion, he pushes your head to the side, giving him full access to your neck. Your artery leaps, pressing against your skin, and Wonwoo lets out a groan of relief as he dives in, sharp fangs piercing you.
You release a muffled gasp, clawing at his forearm while you struggle against the wall. The taste that erupts across his tongue is unlike anything he’s ever had before. It’s rich like fine red wine, but there’s something else too, dark notes of cherry and pomegranate-
Suddenly, it feels like Wonwoo’s been roughly punched in the chest. It’s so startling that he pulls away from you, staggering back in confusion and releasing your wrists. Clearly you didn’t punch him, so what was that-
You take the moment of confusion to whip your blade out of your jacket, holding one hand to your bleeding neck while you defend yourself with the other. “Stay back!”
But Wonwoo can’t stay back, not now that you’re more intriguing than ever.
He stands, licking his lips. He can still taste you on his tongue, and it’s practically intoxicating.
Wonwoo’s eyes shift to the weapon you’re holding. It’s a black, triple bladed knife, used by vampire hunters and meant to emulate a stake. One good stab from that and there’s no stitching it up, he’d be scarred forever, even with vampiric healing abilities. And if you actually hit his heart? He’d simply be gone.
Maybe you have more bite than he’d given you credit for, but Wonwoo knows he can still best you in a fight, he’ll just have to be a little more careful.
“I swear to God-” you warn him, waving the blade.
“Darling, there’s no God here,” Wonwoo tells you simply, eyes assessing your every motion. It’s clear which side of your body you favour, and with one hand still pressed to your bleeding neck, he has an easy opening.
When Wonwoo moves to the left, you turn your body to follow, and that’s all he needs to abuse your weak point. With lightning fast speed, Wonwoo gives your abdomen a rough push, sending you careening back to the wall. There’s a harsh crack as your head hits brick, and you crumple to the ground, blade falling from your hand.
Maybe he’d pushed you too hard- he hadn’t been trying to- but he can still hear your faint breaths. You’re alive, and you might not be that way for long.
Wonwoo has never, in all his years of living, given another being his blood. He’s never wished to. But staring down at you now, that all changes. He can hear your pulse getting weaker-
The vampire falls to his knees next to you, grabbing you by the back of your neck and pulling you closer. He brings his other wrist to his mouth, biting deep before holding it over your parted lips.
Wonwoo watches the dark red substance speckle your tongue and he presses two fingers under your jaw, closing your mouth in the hopes it will help you swallow. His wrist wound is already healing, and soon, you’ll heal as well.
There’s no medicine in the world quite like vampire blood, especially the blood of one as old as he. Wonwoo knows this. However, there’s still something inside of him that begins to worry about you. It’s a foreign emotion, worry, one he’s not had to deal with in a while, especially not in regard to a human.
Wonwoo grabs your blade off the ground, tucking it into his belt, then he adjusts you in his arms. It’s easier to simply throw you over his shoulder, so that’s what he does, standing up and looking toward the mouth of the alleyway. He can’t risk any humans seeing this, so he pulls out his phone, calling Mingyu.
“Bring the car to the back of the club,” Wonwoo instructs, leaving no room for argument as he hangs up.
Less than two minutes later, Mingyu’s familiar black jeep is rolling down the alleyway. The car comes to a stop and Mingyu exits it, staring at Wonwoo in shock. “What happened?”
“Vampire hunter,” Wonwoo says simply, opening the door to the back of the jeep to set you inside.
“What are you going to do with her?” Mingyu asks, watching through the rearview mirror as Wonwoo gets in beside you.
The elder vampire is quiet for a long while. “I’m not sure.”
Tumblr media
Wonwoo is sitting in a chair near the bed, playing with your knife and watching over you diligently. It takes hours before you finally begin to stir. When you wake, you bolt upright, gasping. Your hand flies to your neck, but the wounds are already closed, your skin washed away of blood.
Your eyes find him next, and Wonwoo can’t help but be amused by the way you react, cowering away from him.
“So sleeping beauty finally wakes up,” Wonwoo muses, tossing the blade in his hand and catching it by the hilt.
You don’t say anything, but Wonwoo can see the cogs turning in your mind. “Why… why am I alive?”
“That’s a good question,” one he doesn’t know the answer to yet.
“Am I a vampire?”
Now Wonwoo is laughing. “No. Can you feel your heart racing? It’s a sign that you’re still human.”
You shift in his sheets. “What are you going to do to me?”
“I’m not sure yet,” he confesses. “First, I’d like some answers.”
“I’m not telling you anything.”
“Then I’ll tell you what I know,” he suggests. “This symbol on your blade, it’s a family crest. You belong to a line of vampire hunters.” You stay quiet, but to be fair, it hadn’t been a question, not really. “I recougnize this particular crest. It’s odd to see it again after so many years. I thought your line had been wiped out, but you’re still here, so I guess not.”
“Just kill me,” you state.
Your words cause an interesting feeling to bloom through Wonwoo’s chest again, and he cocks his head. “Is that really what you want?”
You bite your lip, then let out a heavy sigh. “No.”
The vampire stands from his chair. “At least I know why you were looking for Mister Sung now,” he says. “He killed your family, didn’t he?”
You stay quiet, but Wonwoo notes the small tremble that erupts through your form and it’s confirmation enough.
“If it’s any consolation,” Wonwoo continues, “the vampire you’re looking for is dead. I killed him. Ten years ago.”
“He’s dead?” you ask, clearly shocked.
“It seems you’ve been running a fool's errand, darling,” Wonwoo clicks his tongue. “And you nearly died for it. I don’t think your parents would be too happy with you.”
It’s a low blow, and it causes a reaction. Your fists bunch in the sheets and your eyes narrow. “What do you know about my parents?” you spit.
“I know they never got a chance to train you properly. I bet you’ve never even killed a vampire.”
Your shoulders slump ever so slightly and Wonwoo knows he’s hit the nail on the head.
“A vampire hunter with no kills under her belt,” Wonwoo laughs, “it’s cute you thought you could actually get me to be your first.”
“If you have everything figured out, what do you still need me for?”
“There’s still one thing I’m stuck on,” Wonwoo admits. “You did something to me, when I bit you. There was this… feeling, in my chest.”
“I didn’t do anything to you.”
He studies you for a moment. It’s true he hadn’t found any vampire repellents on you when he’d brought you back to his home. He’d kind of been hoping you’d tell him you’re a witch, and in a last ditch effort to get him away from you in the alley you’d used a spell of some sort.
Wonwoo doesn’t want to consider the other possibility, he’s been refusing to even think about it, but now that the witch angle is off the table, the worst case scenario is at the forefront of his thoughts.
“I’ve got business to attend to,” he tells you simply, heading to the door. “You’ll be locked in this room until I figure out what I’m going to do with you.”
“And when will that be?!”
Wonwoo can hear the panic in your voice, and in some form he can sympathize with it. He’d been kept in a room for many years, under the command of a vampire sire he’d since revenged upon. “Not long,” Wonwoo promises, and it’s the most he can give you as reprieve before he shuts you into your fate.
Tumblr media
“What’s so important we couldn’t do this over the phone or at the club?” Jeonghan asks as Wonwoo pushes into his home.
“Give me a minute,” Wonwoo says, double-checking his friend's apartment for any fang bunnies or other vampires who could take what he’s about to say and use it against him.
“You’re so paranoid,” Jeonghan rolls his eyes. “You wanted us to be alone, so we’re alone.”
Wonwoo turns to face the vampire in front of him. “Tell me about Luna.”
“You-” Jeonghan falters. “You never want to hear about Luna.”
“But I do now,” Wonwoo insists. “Tell me.”
Jeonghan moves to sit on his couch, and Wonwoo can tell that the mere name of Jeonghan’s lost love is nearly too much for him to handle, even after so many years.
“What do you want to know?” Jeonghan asks finally.
“You said she was your soulmate.”
“And you called me crazy for it, everyone did.” Perhaps this is another reason it’s such a sore subject.
“Not everyone,” Wonwoo points out. “Sung didn’t like it.”
Jeonghan visibly flinches at the name of their old master, and it’s no wonder why. Sung had gone after anything his fledglings found beautiful, and much more. It’s one of the many reasons Wonwoo had found a way to kill him, ending their eternal torment… but he’d been too late to save Luna, and it’s something he’s always regretted. Jeonghan is a shell of who he was before, and deep in Wonwoo’s black twisted soul, he knows that the man he used to call one of his closest friends will never truly be whole again.
“She was my soulmate,” Jeonghan says, but at this point, it almost sounds like he’s trying to convince himself of that fact.
“How did you know?” Wonwoo presses.
“It was a feeling, I can’t really explain it.”
“Try.”
Jeonghan lets out a deep sigh. “There was something about Luna, I knew it the moment I first saw her. I couldn’t describe it, especially not to any other vampires. She wasn’t just prey, she was more than that.”
She was enough for Jeonghan to turn her into a vampire, intent on spending the rest of eternity with her, an eternity that never came, for one of them at least.
“The first time I tasted her,” Jeonghan runs a hand through his hair. “She was like citrus and sunshine, I’d never experienced anything like her.” This is far off from the red wine and pomegranates Wonwoo had tasted when he’d had you. “It was the oddest thing- there was this feeling, in my chest-”
“Like a punch,” Wonwoo suggests.
Jeonghan’s eyes shift to him, and then he nods. “Yeah, like a punch.”
Wonwoo almost feels sick. “I still don’t understand how this made you realize she was your soulmate.”
“I couldn’t hurt her,” Jeonghan explains, “even if I’d wanted to. And when I tasted her again, when she let me drink from her, I realized what the feeling in my chest was.”
“What was it?”
Jeonghan studies Wonwoo. “It was my heart.”
“Your heart?”
The long haired vampire nods. “An echo. A memory of the life I once had. Luna made my heart beat again, if only when I was with her. She made me soft, like I’d been when I was human, before Sung and the eternal night.”
Wonwoo sits on the couch across from Jeonghan, looking down at his hands.
This can’t be true. Wonwoo had never believed it before- but now, well, now he’s experienced it for himself.
How can a vampire’s whole long life change in one chance meeting?
Except, it hadn’t been chance, not really. Sung had ruined your life as he’d ruined Wonwoo’s, and fate had inexplicably tied you together.
He truly can’t believe it.
“Why do you want to know all of this?” Jeonghan asks.
Wonwoo almost doesn’t want to admit it, for Jeonghan’s sake as much as his own. So he lies. “No reason.”
Jeonghan leans back, crossing his arms over his chest. “Don’t tell me you’ve found your own soulmate.” When Wonwoo remains silent, Jeonghan lets out a small laugh. “I feel sorry for any human unlucky enough to be tied to you.”
“I do too,” Wonwoo sighs. His indifference - and sometimes hatred - towards humans is well known in the vampire circles Wonwoo is a part of. He’s generally cold, unfeeling, a true vampire, the way his master made him. In fact, out of all twelve of Wonwoo’s broodmates, he’s likely the most successful by Sung’s measurements. He’d surely been the most strategically blood thirsty, and it had cost their former master his life.
“You won’t be able to kill her,” Jeonghan warns. “Won’t be able to run away. If you’ve tasted her blood, if you’ve felt your heart, it’s only a matter of time until you give in again.”
Wonwoo hates that this is true. You’ve been on his mind the entire time he’s been away from you, and it’s already driving him insane. He’s not used to thinking about another being for long periods of time, least of all a filthy little human who fancies herself a vampire hunter.
“You’ll end up turning her,” Jeonghan concludes. “It’s the only way. Humans are fragile, and I know how much you hate to see weakness.”
Tumblr media
You’ve been trying to find a way out of the bedroom for ages. There are no clocks, nothing to tell you what time it is, but you know dawn is coming, you can see it through the large windows that make up an entire wall of the room.
There’s safety in sunshine, and you’re extremely hopeful that it comes before Wonwoo does.
But your luck is not your own today, as you hear something outside the door just as the morning rays begin to creep through the glass.
You make your way to the windows, pressing your body against them and waiting for the vampire to return. He takes his sweet time, and for that, you’re grateful. The room is half illuminated by the time Wonwoo opens the door, and he peers inside at you.
“What are you doing?” he asks, studying your seated form, back to the glass and morning sun.
“Protecting myself,” you fire back.
Wonwoo lets out a laugh, looking down where the sun reaches on the floor. Then, he steps into it. “Do you really think I’d have a room without tinted glass? The sunlight can’t touch me here. This is my safe haven, not yours.”
Fuck.
“Have you decided what you’re going to do with me?” you ask, feeling defeated.
“I’ll let you know when I do,” Wonwoo responds smoothly, walking over to the closet.
He’s left the door wide open, and you eye it, wondering if you can make your escape.
“Don’t even think about it,” the vampire warns. “You won’t get far. I’ve installed an extra lock on my front door too, so even if you make it there, you have no way out.”
“How many people have you killed here?”
“None.” Wonwoo is looking through his clothing casually, back to you. You’re not sure if you can believe him. “Go on, check the doors.”
You dart from the room, quickly getting your bearings in the small but luxurious apartment. When you make it to the front door, you find he’s not lying. There’s an extra deadbolt on it, and try as you might, you can’t get it open.
You move to the kitchen next, looking for knives of any kind- but there’s literally nothing to be found in any of the cabinets. You suppose a vampire has no use for utensils or food-
Instead, you unplug a lamp, picking it up to use as a bludgeoning weapon if the need arises. You stare toward Wonwoo’s bedroom, and he crosses your line of sight. He’s shirtless now, a pair of sweatpants low on his hips.
The sight is gone far too soon, and you wait, frozen with your lamp.
Wonwoo doesn’t say anything. He doesn’t come out of his room.
After a few minutes, you go to peek inside. The vampire is laying in his bed.
“What are you doing?”
“Trying to sleep,” he muses almost lazily. “It’s been a long night.”
You’d heard rumours about vampires needing sleep, but you hadn’t actually believed the tales.
“What am I supposed to do now?” you ask.
“Get comfortable,” Wonwoo sighs. “You’re not going anywhere.” He opens his eyes when you stay standing in his doorway. “Put the lamp down.”
“No.”
The vampire lets out a laugh. “Suit yourself.”
“I’ll kill you in your sleep,” you warn him.
“No you won’t.” Wonwoo rolls onto his side, facing away from you. The covers are around his hips, and you get a good view of his excessively broad shoulders. His skin is perfect, not a blemish in sight, only muscles for days.
You lower the lamp a little.
This man is crazy. Absolutely batshit insane.
You watch the vampire as he drifts to sleep, and as soon as you feel you’ve waited a substantial amount of time, you begin to tiptoe to his closet. Your blade has to be somewhere.
You’re hyper aware of the fact that at any moment, Wonwoo could wake up. You keep your noise level to a minimum, rifling through his things. Finally, after what feels like forever, you feel the tip of your blade under your fingers as you look through a folded pile of hoodies.
The twisted knife pulls out from the fabric and you have to fight the urge to cry out in happiness. When you look over your shoulder, you find the vampire still asleep. He’s on his back now, and it would be the perfect opportunity to stake him.
You’re aware that if you kill him, it will be much harder to leave the apartment, but you’re confident that if you bang on the front door long and loudly enough, someone will come save you.
You begin to tiptoe toward the bed, adjusting your grip on the knife.
If there’s one thing you can say about vampires in general, it’s that they’re beautiful. Wonwoo looks absolutely angelic, even while asleep. You falter at the edge of the mattress, simply watching him. If he hadn’t nearly killed you last night, you might hesitate longer, but the memory brings your drive back, and you hold the blade over his chest.
But your hands can’t bring it down. You can’t pierce his skin the way he’d pierced your neck just hours ago.
Come on, you think to yourself. Just stake him.
Wonwoo’s eyes open, and he simply stares at you for a moment. Then he grabs your hand, disarming the blade and tugging you roughly, sending you toppling onto the mattress next to him.
“Fuck!” you scream, kicking and trashing against the vice grip he has on your wrist.
Wonwoo lets you go. “I would have been disappointed if you didn’t try.”
“I hate you!” you yell, sitting up only to be tugged back down again.
“No, you don’t.” Wonwoo straddles you this time, grabbing both your wrists and pinning them above your head with one hand while the other continues to hold your family blade.
“I do!”
“I killed the vampire you were hunting, something you would have never been able to do. Some part of you must be grateful for that at least,” Wonwoo points out. “I’ve saved you from becoming a killer. Trust me, it’s not a weight you’d be able to hold easily.”
His words make your skin cold, and you stop wiggling beneath him, staring up at the beautiful vampire.
“There we go,” Wonwoo says, tone almost soothing. “If you’re good and calm, I’ll give you some information. Although, you won’t like what you’re about to hear.”
“Have you decided to kill me yet?”
Wonwoo quickly shakes his head, releasing your wrists so he can sit straighter, staring down at your form. “I’m not really sure how to tell you this.”
“Just spit it out!”
“Impatient little thing, aren’t you?” Wonwoo grins, tracing the tip of the blade across your collar bone and making you freeze. You’re breathing heavily, fighting every urge to try to push him off of you. “Fine, maybe I won’t tell you.”
He gets off of you, rolling onto his back again. He begins to play with the knife, gently tracing one of its edges.
“Tell me,” you press. “I’m being good.”
Wonwoo laughs, and you hate how attracted you are to him when he smiles, his fangs all pointy and sharp.
“Fate is like this blade,” he says finally.
“A killer?” you suggest after a moment of deliberation.
“Twisted,” Wonwoo corrects you.
“Twisted how?”
“Sung. He ruined my life. Ruined yours. I killed him, thinking I knew everything there was to know, but there was still information he could have given me. Information that died with him, like the vampire hunter legacy that died with your parents. Now here we are, two remnants of the same past, our souls scarred, but entwined, twisted by fate.”
You’d definitely not pegged this vampire as a poet, but there’s something very genuine about the words leaving his pretty lips.
“What do you know of souls?” you ask, words dripping with vitriol. “You don’t have one.”
“It would appear I do,” Wonwoo muses.
“Then what do you know about mine?”
“Enough.”
He’s told you something without telling you anything, and it’s infuriating.
“When I bit you, I felt something,” Wonwoo says quietly.
“Besides hunger?”
He grins at your sarcasm. “Yes, besides hunger.”
Wonwoo drags his finger across the blade again, but this time, it cuts him. You watch dark red blood bloom, and after a moment he brings it to his lips, licking it clean. By the time he pulls his hand away, you see the small cut has healed.
“When I bit you, my chest hurt.”
“What does that mean?”
“I wasn’t sure at the time,” he admits. “But I know someone who’d felt something similar, so I went to talk to him. Do you want to know what he said?”
The anticipation is nearly killing you. “Yes.”
“He revealed to me that amidst a world of vampires, witches and werewolves, there’s also such a thing as soulmates. And so, like this blade, fate is twisted.”
You stare at the vampire, trying to process what he’s just said.
But it doesn’t make sense to you.
“You can’t be saying that we’re soulmates-”
“That’s exactly what I’m saying.” Wonwoo shifts, holding the blade out to you. “Here, try to stake me again.”
After a moment of deliberation, you take the knife, lining it up with his throat. But try as you might, you can’t bring yourself to kill him, can’t even cut a tiny scratch against his perfect skin.
“This doesn’t prove anything,” you say finally, feeling completely defeated.
“Sure it doesn’t,” Wonwoo grins, but his smile tells you another story. “Now, if you don’t mind, I’d like to go back to sleep. You’re free to join me if you want.”
You take the knife away from his neck, releasing a loud sigh. “Just don’t bite me.”
“No promises.” Wonwoo rolls on his side again, back to you.
You hate how calm he’s being about all of this, but you suppose that’s what happens when you’re the one holding all the cards.
You can’t hurt him, but you’re pretty sure he can still hurt you, if that bite from last night is anything to go on.
It takes an hour of letting him rest before you finally place the knife on the floor, settling into the bed with a huff. Your mind is completely full, but you’re exhausted too. Sleep finds you soon thereafter.
Tumblr media
You wake up cold, and it only takes a moment for you to realize why. There’s a vampire attached to your back, his chest pressed tightly to your form, skin like ice.
You want to pull away, but you can’t. You’re stuck, trapped in his tight embrace.
There has to be a way out of this, not only his arms but his apartment too. You’ll find a way, there has to be a way-
With a few deep breaths, you’re finally able to get control of yourself, and you begin to shift away from Wonwoo- only for his grip to tighten on your body.
“Where do you think you’re going?” he asks, voice groggy as if he’s just woken up.
“I have to get out of here,” you insist.
Wonwoo releases his hold on you, and you dart out of bed, looking around at the dark of the room. It’s evening already? How long did you sleep? When you look outside, you see the sun has set, the sky a hazy purple.
“People will look for me,” you say, trying to reassure yourself.
“What people? Your family is dead.”
He’s such an asshole. He can’t possibly be your soulmate, he can’t be-
You turn to look at Wonwoo, only to find him standing right in front of you. He’s so large, his chest perfectly muscled- and he’s staring at your neck.
“Don’t even think about it,” you warn, clapping both hands over your throat.
He laughs. “But I’m thirsty.”
“How very enticing,” you say sarcastically.
“I’ve been thinking.”
“You have?” you act shocked, picking up your blade.
“Put that down,” he tells you. “I’ve been thinking about something my friend told me. He said I’d have to turn you eventually.”
“Now I’m definitely not putting this down!” You brandish the knife at him and it only makes his grin wider.
“You’re cute,” the vampire muses. “I can’t let you leave here while you’re human. It’s a dangerous world out there. Turning you would give me… security.”
“I’d still run,” you insist.
“You wouldn’t be able to. Not if I told you that you can’t.”
“I’d still try-”
Wonwoo bats the blade out of your hand, grabbing your wrists to pin them to your front while he steps closer. “You’re not listening,” he tuts. “Fledgelings can’t disobey their masters, and if I turned you-”
“You’ll never be my master,” you spit.
“You might not like me now, but you’ll get over it,” Wonwoo assures you. “I can’t say I’m particularly fond of the fragility of your human body. I can turn you and you’ll be much more powerful. You’ll stay beautiful and young, forever.”
Blood is thrumming through your body, and so is fear. Your pulse is practically racing as you stare up at the vampire who thinks you’re his soulmate.
How can he be so sure of this?
In the dark recesses of your mind, there’s some pleasure in being wanted, maybe even needed- but you push the thought away, struggling in his grasp. “Don’t do this.”
Wonwoo doesn’t respond, he simply steps closer, causing you to move back until you’re pressed between him and the wall. He stares down at you, an intensity in his eyes.
“I’m going to ask you something, and I’ll be able to tell if you’re lying, so be a good girl and try to be honest, okay?”
“Screw you!”
He places both your wrists in one hand, bringing the other up to cup your cheek. “Would you hate me if I kissed you?”
“Yes!”
“Lie,” he grins, leaning even closer. “Tell me you don’t want me to kiss you.”
“I don’t want you to kiss me.”
“Another lie. Your heart jumped just now. Whether you want to admit it to yourself or not, your body always tells the truth.”
You’re speechless, staring up at him with wide eyes.
“I’m going to kiss you now,” the vampire warns you. “It will be better if you try to enjoy yourself.”
He gives you a moment to respond, but you can’t. There’s nothing you can say as Wonwoo closes the distance between your lips. It’s a soft kiss, much softer than you’d ever expected from him. Your body reacts, eyes closing, and you find yourself kissing him back.
Wonwoo grins, releasing your wrists in favour of grabbing your hip, pressing you harder against the wall. His tongue glides against your bottom lip and you can’t help but open your mouth for him, fighting the moan that bubbles in your chest.
There’s something about this that feels electric, and after a mini battle with yourself, you give into the experience. Your hands grab at his strong shoulders, nails digging into his flesh as you kiss him back with more vigour, opening your mouth for him.
Wonwoo lets out a growl, deep in his chest, and the sound turns you on more than you’ll ever admit. His hand is bruising on your hip now, groping at your skin and slipping under your shirt. You shift in his embrace, pulling him closer when you wrap your arms around the back of his neck.
His hand on your cheek moves down, gently latching around your throat. The motion makes you gasp, and Wonwoo pulls away from your lips, staring down at you. “Thirsty.”
“You fucker-”
“Thirsty,” he repeats, pressing you against the wall and tightening his grip on your neck. You watch him drag his tongue across his sharp fangs. “Just say yes,” the vampire whispers. It almost sounds like he’s begging.
You’re at war with yourself. Your body is clearly reacting to Wonwoo, but your mind still isn’t there yet. It’s almost torture, pressed to the wall by a man with a perfect body and power that practically thrums off of him.
You find yourself giving a small nod. “Don’t hurt me,” you plead.
“Never,” he promises, kissing you softly one last time before he arches your jaw to the side. You grab at his shoulders, ready to dig your nails in when you feel his fangs-
His lips press to your throat and a shiver runs through your body. His tongue tastes your skin, drawing a circle that has you nearly dying with anticipation. When the bite finally comes, it’s not painful or sharp, it feels something like a hickey, and then it begins to throb.
A gasp tumbles out of you, and you cling to Wonwoo’s broad shoulders, closing your eyes. The vampire releases a groan, reaching for your hand so he can intertwine your fingers, squeezing gently.
You’ve never felt close to someone like this, and the realization has your head spinning… or maybe that’s the blood loss.
“Wonwoo-” you whimper, starting to worry at how long he’s been sucking on your throat.
The throbbing stops, and you feel his tongue gliding over the bite mark, an attempt to soothe your skin. Then he’s pulling away, looking down at you as he licks his lips clean of your blood.
“Good girl,” he praises you, letting go of your hand. “Your turn.” You watch as he brings his thumb to his mouth, biting the tip before grabbing your jaw, pressing the digit into your mouth. “This will heal the mark,” Wonwoo explains, watching as you begin to suck on his thumb.
He doesn’t taste like blood. Instead, you’re reminded of strawberries and stone fruits. You swirl your tongue around his digit, sucking him deeper into your mouth-
“That’s it,” the vampire groans, slowly pulling his thumb from you. He drags it across your lip. “All better.”
When you touch your throat, you find only perfect skin. There’s nothing to suggest you’ve just been bitten by a vampire.
“If it’s any consolation,” Wonwoo leans down, his lips ghosting over your own, “you taste delicious.”
“You-” you swallow thickly, “you do too.”
“Yeah?” He grins.
You can only nod, leaning forward eagerly to capture him in a kiss again.
You’re hungry for him, hungry in a way you’ve never been before, hungry for more.
Wonwoo gives into your needs, working his lips against yours harder while his hands find your hips again. Your own fingers trace his broad shoulders, dipping down to tease over his chest before finding his abs-
“That’s enough for tonight,” Wonwoo says suddenly, pulling away.
You realize you’d been about to grab his sweat pants, and you feel slightly embarrassed. You’re not sure what’s come over you-
“Sorry-”
“As much as I’d love to give you everything you want, as a human, I’d break you much too easily, darling.”
Is he… is he going to withhold sex unless you become a vampire?
Jesus, are you actually considering this now?
What has this man done to you?
“I’m going out,” Wonwoo announces.
“Where?”
“The club. You were a tasty treat, but I’ll need more soon.”
For some reason, the thought of him biting anyone else makes you almost jealous. “Take me with you.”
“To the vampire club?” Wonwoo laughs as he heads to his closet. “No.”
“Please?”
“No.”
“Why not?” you ask.
“It’s too dangerous.”
“What if I stick to your side all night?”
He turns to look at you, cocking a brow. “Not thinking of running anymore?”
You shake your head quickly.
“Shame, a lie,” Wonwoo sighs. “But I guess… anywhere you go, I’ll find you.” He reaches out, wrapping his hands around your throat and pulling you closer. “You’re mine. If you run, the consequence will be a turning, does that sound fair?”
You feel like you’re gambling with fate, but you nod all the same.
“Say it,” the vampire tells you.
“If… If I run, you can turn me.”
Wonwoo studies you for a moment, then he releases your throat. “Fine. You can come to the club. We’ll get you food along the way if you promise to be good.”
Tumblr media
Entering the club with Wonwoo is extremely different from entering alone. The bouncers seem to know the vampire with his hand firmly wrapped around your own, and although they give you odd looks, no one says anything.
The crowd parts for Wonwoo, and you feel eyes drilling into your form.
It had taken months to track down this specific club, there are few vampire safe havens like this one, and people tend to keep their mouth shut about this sort of thing. Yet, within the location itself, everyone seems to know who’s vampire and who’s human. It’s an unspoken hierarchy, one you’re disturbing by being so close to Wonwoo while still owning a pulse.
Wonwoo leads you to the booth section you’d found him in last night. There are three vampires already sitting there, and they all stare as you approach. “Shouldn’t have brought you here,” Wonwoo sighs.
“Why not?”
“They’re never going to let me live this down,” he explains. “I’ve got a reputation to uphold.”
It’s an interesting notion, the idea that you’re bringing down this asshole vampire’s street cred. But at the same time, you didn’t force him to bring you here. You’ll never be able to force Wonwoo to do anything.
The vampire with the longest hair stands up from the booth as you approach, and you’re shocked when he smiles at you. “This must be her,” he says, holding out a hand. When you take it, instead of shaking, the beautiful man leans down to kiss your knuckles.
“This is Jeonghan,” Wonwoo tells you.
You give the vampire your own name, and when you hear Wonwoo whispering it behind you, you realize he’s yet to learn it. Had you really gone this long without introducing yourself to him properly? Had you let him bite you, and kiss you, and call you good girl, all without knowing your name?
“You’re the vampire hunter,” comes the next voice, and the tallest vampire you’ve ever seen stands to tower over you. “I thought you’d be dead by now.”
“Mingyu,” Wonwoo warns, his hand moving to the small of your back in an almost protective gesture.
“Vampire hunter?” The third man cocks his head. “I see you’ve brought us a pretty little juice box.”
“Joshua,” now it’s Jeonghan’s turn to scold someone, and you realize through the long haired vampire’s behaviour that he must be the friend Wonwoo went to see about soulmates. There’s definitely a softness to him that the others don’t have, an understanding.
“Is she not dinner?” Joshua simply blinks in confusion, unable to see what he’s done wrong.
“A fang bunny then, not dinner,” the final vampire suggests.
“Excuse Soonyoung and Joshua,” Jeonghan sighs, addressing you again, “looks don’t account for manners. How about I take you down to the bar for a drink and Wonwoo can explain to our friends what’s going on,” he leans closer, lowering his voice, “Wonwoo’s never brought a girl home, I’m sure you can understand the surprise.”
You’d promised Wonwoo you’d stay by his side all night, and you can’t help but look at him for permission to leave with Jeonghan. Your vampire mate meets your gaze with a steady look, and he gives you a quick nod before turning to his friends again.
Jeonghan takes your hand, pulling you away from the table and back toward the bar. “You two look good together,” he muses. “Fragility looks nice next to Wonwoo’s controlled chaos, it’s a good balance.”
“What’s with you vampires and hating human fragility?” you ask.
“I can’t speak for all vampires, but I can tell you it’s a trait of our fledgling group. Our old master was… brutal, to say the least. It left its scars.” Jeonghan looks down, and you can see an unreadable emotion cross his face. But he’s forcing a smile a moment later. “It doesn’t matter, Sung is gone, we’re free now.”
So Wonwoo hadn’t only freed himself and you when he’d killed his maker. How many people had he saved? You’d seen the act as something of a bloodthirsty move of defiance, but you  hadn’t been aware of the domino effect of it all, hadn’t been aware that Sung had been cruel to humans and vampires alike, even his own spawn.
The bartender comes over with two glasses of red wine, and you reach for yours, only to have Jeonghan’s cold fingers latch around your wrist. “Don’t drink that,” he warns you, eyes shifting to the human bartender. “She’s not a red wine lover.”
“I can drink this-”
Jeonghan leans closer, voice lowering. “It’s blood, darling.”
Your eyes dip to the glass of red liquid and you pull your hand away, swallowing thickly. Something tells you this blood wouldn’t taste like Wonwoo’s had, there’d be no strawberries and stone fruit, only harsh metalics.
“What would you like to drink?” Jeonghan asks.
You give your order and the bartender scurries away. Jeonghan moves both glasses of blood in front of himself, lifting one to his lips.
“Stupid humans,” he mutters, only realizing his mistake a moment later. “Not you of course, as Wonwoo’s soulmate, you’re an extension of us.”
It’s very odd to be accepted like this. You’ve never met any vampires like these ones, and they’re reshaping your view of things that go bump in the night.
Your gaze moves back to the table of vampires, and you’re shocked to find Wonwoo standing with a new person you’ve not yet met. They’re comparable in size, and from your distance, it almost looks like they’re arguing. Then you see Wonwoo motion, pointing toward the hallway that leads to the alley he’d taken you last night.
“Jeonghan?” You tap on the man’s arm. “Who’s that with Wonwoo?”
“Shit,” Jeonghan cusses. “He’s bad news.”
And here you’d thought Wonwoo was bad news, can this new man be even worse?
You watch the two heated vampires begin to head through the crowd, clearly intent on taking this outside. Mingyu, Joshua and Soonyoung watch from the booth, but they don’t make a move to follow.
“Does- does Wonwoo need backup?” you ask.
Jeonghan considers it for a moment. “Doubtful. He’d probably be mad if we went out after him.”
As you watch Wonwoo disappear, your heart clenches in your chest. “I think we should follow.”
“He’s fine,” Jeonghan assures you.
“I don’t care.”
“Wonwoo wouldn’t want you there,” the vampire tries to convince you. “You’re fragile, human, it would only make things worse.”
“Screw that.”
“Your drink isn’t even here yet-”
But you’re already moving away from the bar, and Jeonghan scrambles to follow you, grabbing both glasses of wine. “This is a bad idea,” he insists, but you’re done listening to him. “Wonwoo can take care of himself.”
To be fair, that might be true. However, there’s a pull, deep in your chest. Something tells you Wonwoo will need you soon, although you’re not quite sure in what capacity.
Your pace quickens as you head down the dark hallway, and you push open the exit door, quickly looking around.
Wonwoo has the other vampire pressed to the brick wall behind the bar, and they’re grappling at each other, practically snarling. You have no clue who’s the aggressor, but you know who the winner will be, and you reach into your jacket for your blade.
“Wonwoo!” you scream, catching his attention for a moment, but it’s all you need to toss the weapon toward him. He catches it easily, driving the stake into the other man without a second thought.
A choked sound leaves you, and a hand covers your eyes. Jeonghan presses against your back, cradling you while you hear the sounds of your vampire mate eviscerating his opponent.
Jeonghan turns you in his arms. “Don’t look,” he urges, removing his palm from your view. He’s still holding a wine glass, and you see the other sitting on the garbage can a few feet away. The sight of the blood makes your stomach churn. You try to take deep breaths to calm yourself, but it’s difficult in a situation like this.
Something moves in the periphery of your vision and you turn your head to see Wonwoo standing there, reaching for the wine glass. His skin is marred with red, his hair a tangle of curls. Your mate’s eyes are dark, and he closes them as he downs the red liquid, tossing the glass to the side when he’s through with it. The cup shatters across the alleyway.
“Wonwoo-” you breathe, reaching for him, needing to check if he’s hurt.
“Why did you two come out here?” he asks, staring at Jeonghan.
“She insisted.”
Oh, to be thrown under the bus by a vampire.
Wonwoo cracks a grin, gaze shifting to you. “Brat.”
“Killer,” you retort.
“He deserved it,” Wonwoo assures you, reaching out to grab you by the back of the neck, pulling you closer.
He’s covered in blood and he looks like a sexy, wild monster. But he’s your monster, and you can’t help but react, leaning in-
“Jesus Christ,” you hear Jeonghan breathe, turning to give you and Wonwoo privacy while he presses his lips against yours hungrily.
Wonwoo lets you go, turning to his friend. “Help me with the body,” he instructs.
“The club owner isn’t going to like this,” Jeonghan groans, although he does as he’s told, following Wonwoo toward the body crumpled by the wall.
The vampire has been practically torn to pieces- you shift your gaze again, wiping at your mouth just in case there’s any blood on your skin.
“I’ll explain what happened,” Wonwoo says.
“Explain it to me then.”
You focus on the ground, not wanting to look as you hear the two vampires open a large dumpster.
Wonwoo has lowered his voice to respond to his friend, but you hear the words soulmate and threatened.
Had this killing been over you? The thought makes your stomach tie into knots again.
“You can’t bring her here again, not while she’s still human,” Jeonghan muses.
“You think I don’t know that?” Wonwoo snaps. “I didn’t even want to bring her today!”
“Then why did you?”
“It’s hard to say no to her, something you should understand. Can’t believe you let her come out here-”
“I didn’t let her do anything,” Jeonghan insists. “That soulmate of yours has a mind of her own. Besides, my hands were full.”
Your eyes shift to the glass of wine still sitting on a small trash can, and you move to retrieve it.
“You’ll get this properly cleaned up, won’t you?” Wonwoo asks.
“Yeah, I got you,” Jeonghan sighs. “But you owe me one.”
“I’d expect nothing less.”
You hear them walking over again, and you turn to face the approaching vampires, holding out the ‘wine’ for Jeonghan.
“Thank you, darling,” he offers you a smile, taking the glass.
You can only nod, gaze shifting to Wonwoo, who still looks gorgeous even while covered in blood.
He takes your hand gently. “Come on, brat, let’s get out of here.”
Tumblr media
Mingyu had come around with his car to take you home, helping avoid any uber drivers who would take one look at Wonwoo’s blood-speckled face and driven the other way. It had been a tense ten minutes, with hardly a word spoken.
Now, you’re in Wonwoo’s bathroom, helping him take off his shirt so you can wash him clean.
He watches as you ring out a warm soapy cloth, bunching it up and bringing it toward his shoulders first. It’s hard to focus with his intense gaze fixed on you, but you do your best, wiping away the blood from his throat.
“I have to turn you,” he says.
You sigh. “I know.”
“Are you upset with me?”
You shake your head, daring a look into his dark eyes.
The vampire cocks his head, hands finding your hips while he leans back against the sink. “I’ll be gentle,” he promises. “One bite, I’ll nearly drain you, and on the cusp between life or death, I’ll give you my own blood. You’ll probably pass out, for a little while, and when you wake up, you’ll be like me.”
“Except you’ll be my master,” you point out, drawing the cloth across his bloody cheekbone.
“I won’t abuse that power.”
For some reason, you believe him.
Silence fills the bathroom while you continue to clean him, but your mind is very much active.
You’ve spent over ten years with one goal and one goal only, to avenge your parents. You’d been told it was a fool's errand, so you’d never quite planned for what came next. Part of you had always expected to die young- and if you’d been at the house instead of with a friend the day Sung had come for your family, you would have.
The idea of living forever is a lot to grapple with, but Wonwoo’s the one that makes it possible.
He’d completed your life task, and now, he’s offering you a new path, one that’s rich with shadows, but also love. In a way, maybe you can’t ask for anything more than that.
“Do you think it will satisfy you?” you question. “Having me when you know I can’t refuse you?”
Wonwoo considers you for a moment, and his silence makes you anxious.
“I just mean…” you bite at your lip, cleaning the last speckle of blood from his skin before tossing the cloth down. “Wouldn’t it be better to have me for the first time while I’m still human? When you know I’m saying yes out of my own free will?”
“Darling,” his fingers dig into your hips, “are you asking me to fuck you?”
“I’m just- I know I want you, I think that much is obvious. I just think that if I wait to have you until after I’m a vampire, maybe there will always be a part of me that questions it. I want to experience you now, as I am, as a human.”
“It’s an interesting proposition,” Wonwoo admits.
“Just interesting?” you tease, wrapping your arms around his strong shoulders.
Wonwoo straightens. No longer leaning against the sink, he towers over you again, and it takes your anxieties away.
“Is this really what you want?” he asks.
You take a deep breath and nod.
“I’ll be as gentle as I know how,” he reaches out, brushing his fingers along your arm, “but I can’t make any promises.”
“It’s okay,” you assure him, tongue darting out to wet your lips. “I like rough.”
“Are you sure about that, pretty girl?” Wonwoo grins, grabbing your hips and tugging you closer.
It feels amazing to be pressed against him now, your palms coming to rest on his broad chest. He’s so beautiful, you can hardly control yourself around him anymore.
“I want you to ravage me,” you tell him. “And when we both finish, you can turn me. I think… I think I’m ready for my life with you. There’s nothing for me with the old one anyways, not anymore.”
The vampire studies you, and you avert your gaze, only for his fingers to find the bottom of your chin. He tilts your head up so you’re forced to meet his eyes. “I’m going to take care of you,” Wonwoo whispers, and then he leans in to press his lips against yours.
You melt against his chest, wrapping your arms around the back of his neck. Your mouth parts much too easily for Wonwoo, and he drags his tongue along yours, earning a sigh of relief from deep within you. Your brain has been so full since seeing Wonwoo eviscerate that rival vampire, it’s good to be in your body now, mind going numb from your soulmate’s touch.
In one easy motion, Wonwoo turns you so you’re the one with your back to the sink. He bends down, tearing your pants off before grabbing your thighs and lifting you onto the counter, slotting between your legs while he kisses you harder.
His hands find your shirt, and you break the kiss to tear it off, leaving you in your underwear. Wonwoo’s lips find your neck, and you tangle your fingers in his hair, groaning. You throw your head back, wrapping your legs tighter around his hips. “Bite me,” you urge him, missing the sensation.
The vampire grins against your throat, and you feel his fangs a moment later. He doesn’t tease you with kisses or licking this time, he simply sinks his teeth into you. The throbbing feeling courses through you and you gasp, digging your nails into his shoulders while Wonwoo drinks from you.
You’ve never felt close to someone like this before. Wonwoo is grabbing your hips hard, leaning closer while he uses you for his own strength. He presses forward, allowing you to feel his cock growing in his jeans, denim catching against your panties. Then his hands slip behind you, and he undoes your bra, tearing it off.
Your nipples pebble in the cool of the bathroom, and Wonwoo’s cold hands don’t help any as they move up to cup your breasts. Your soulmate pulls away from your throat, releasing a groan.
Warm blood begins to drip down your skin, he’d bitten you harder than last time. As the track of red makes it to your nipple, Wonwoo bends down, capturing the sensitive bud in his mouth and licking roughly.
You whimper at the sensation, tangling your fingers in his hair as he drags his tongue up, collecting all the blood that’s just spilt from your neck. The vampire groans when he makes it to your bite mark, and he adjusts slightly, biting his thumb before pressing it into your mouth. “Need you healed or I might lose control,” he says, voice husky.
You can only suck in his digit, closing your eyes and enjoying the tingly feeling of your wound disappearing.
Your soulmate pulls his hand from your mouth, bringing his newly spit-covered fingers to your panty-clad core. He applies a good amount of pressure to your clit and you cry out, grabbing at his jaw to bring his lips back to yours.
The vampire rubs you teasingly, working you up until you’re practically rutting against his hand. “Please,” you moan, feeling absolutely desperate now.
Wonwoo rewards you by pushing your panties to the side, sinking two fingers into your hot core while you groan into each other’s mouths.
“Already so wet for me,” Wonwoo muses. “Is this how you always react to vampires, darling?”
You shake your head, whimpering as he strokes your inner walls expertly. “Just you,” you tell him.
Wonwoo lets out a growl. With his free hand he grabs your wrist, bringing your palm to his chest. “Can you feel what you’re doing to me?”
At first, you’re confused, but then you feel something, a rough thumping, as if his heart is clawing to get out of his ribcage. “I’m doing this to you?” you ask in wonder.
“And this,” he guides your hand down further, so you can feel how hard he is in his jeans now.
“Fuck, you’re big-”
Wonwoo laughs, working his fingers into you even harder. “Think you’ll be able to make it fit?”
“Uh huh,” you nod eagerly. “We’ll make it fit.”
His digits crook up, stroking a spot that has your thighs quivering around his hips. You squeeze his cock through his jeans, hoping to drive Wonwoo even a fraction as wild as he’s driving you.
Your soulmate lets out a satisfied groan, and the sound goes straight to your core, which squelches around his fingers. “I’m close,” you warn him, nearly panting now as the orgasm builds in the pit of your stomach.
“Yeah?” Wonwoo grinds his palm against your clit and you’re nearly seeing stars.
You let go of his cock, needing to anchor yourself on his strong shoulders as he leans in to kiss your throat. He focuses on the spot he’d bitten, and even though it’s healed, you’re still sensitive there, sending throbbing tingles through your form.
“Fuck, Wonwoo-” You clench your eyes shut as you reach your high, your entire being now consumed with pleasure. You’ve never felt anything like this. It’s almost an out of body experience, your cries leaving your lips as you dig your nails into his shoulders, throbbing ceaselessly with ecstasy.
“That’s it, pet,” Wonwoo coos, fingers continuing to abuse your hole even as your walls contract around him. “Who’s my good little human?”
“Me,” you whimper, threading your hand through his hair so you can keep him to your throat. You almost want to ask him to bite you again, but you hold yourself back, enjoying the last moments of your orgasm.
You finish with a gasp, breathing hard.
Wonwoo takes his hand from your core, pulling away from your neck. He watches you with dark eyes as he brings his fingers to his lips, licking them clean. The vampire lets out a groan. “Everything about you tastes so fucking sweet, darling.”
God. You need him like you’ve never needed anyone in your whole life.
“Please,” you moan.
“Please, what?” he teases.
“Take me,” you whisper. “Make me yours.”
“Darling,” Wonwoo leans closer, his lips ghosting over your own, “I thought you’d never ask.”
He pulls you off the sink, tucking you close to his chest and carrying you back to the bedroom. The lights are off, and when he gently places you on the bed, his beautiful frame is illuminated from the glow of the bathroom.
You can’t see his face, but you can see he’s smiling, and his fangs flash. His hands move to his belt and he undoes it. You bite at your lip, sitting up onto your elbows while you watch him.
He pushes his pants down, and you can just make out the impressive size of his cock. “Wish I could see you,” you muse.
“I can see you,” he retorts. “When I turn you, you’ll be able to see in the dark too.”
“Are you really going to make me wait?”
“You won’t have to wait long,” Wonwoo reminds you. “You can be patient for this first time, can’t you, human? After tonight, we’ll have forever.”
You can’t even imagine what forever entails, and you distract yourself from it by pulling your panties down, tossing them to the floor. You spread your legs for the vampire at the foot of the bed and he releases a groan.
“You are beautiful,” he admits.
“Even for a human?”
“Even for a vampire hunter,” Wonwoo presses a knee to the bed.
“Thought you said I was a sorry excuse for a vampire hunter.”
“I may have said something along those lines,” he grins.
“A vampire hunter with no kills under her belt-”
Wonwoo presses his hand to the bed next to your head, leaning over you while you wrap your legs around his hips. “Are you looking for an apology, darling?”
“It would help,” you sigh, enjoying the way he ruts his cock against your hot core.
“I’m sorry I called you a filthy little human who fancies herself a vampire hunter,” Wonwoo smirks, “I was having a bad day, and I misspoke… you’re a darling little human who’s about to become a vampire fucker.”
“Wonwoo-” you push at his chest, hating how harsh his words sound.
“You’re right,” your soulmate concedes, “you’re not a vampire fucker, I’m the one on top.”
“You’re horrible!” you screech, but at the same time, you’re giggling now.
“Tell me you love it,” he insists, leaning in to press his lips to your neck. “Tell me you don’t want me to fuck you stupid. That you don’t want me to sink my fangs into this pretty throat and make you mine, my eternal mate, untouchable to anyone but me.”
It does sound nice, and you shiver as Wonwoo presses his cold body down against yours.
“I’ll enjoy it once you’re turned,” Wonwoo breathes. “You won’t be able to be bratty with me. I’ll ask you what's on your mind and you’ll have to answer.”
“I’m just thinking how nice this is going to be,” you admit.
“Nice?” He laughs, pulling away to look down at you.
“Obviously it will be a lot to figure out,” you back pedal slightly, “but… I don’t know, you really are my soulmate, and I know you’ll take care of me.”
The vampire simply blinks.
“What?” you ask, cupping his face.
“This is the first time you’ve admitted it,” Wonwoo points out.
“I wouldn’t let you bite me if you weren’t,” you remind him. “Wouldn’t let you fuck me-”
“I haven’t fucked you yet,” your soulmate grins, pushing his hips so his cock brushes by your clit as if to prove his point.
“And I’m devastated,” you say dramatically. “Please, Wonwoo- just fuck me!”
Wonwoo presses his lips to yours, and you love that he’s smiling into the kiss. You tangle your fingers in his hair, hooking your legs tighter around his hips. You’re still so wet from his fingers, and each small drag of his cock between your pussy lips feels like heaven.
He’s such a tease, but you kind of love it.
The vampire adjusts slightly, reaching between your bodies, and then his cock slides into you. It’s just the head at first, but it’s enough to have you gasping and clawing at him. He thrusts shallowly, pushing deeper and deeper until his hips are flush to your own and every impressive inch of him is stretching you open.
“Fuck-” you whimper, toes curling from how full you feel.
Wonwoo collects one of your hands, linking your fingers and pressing it down against the pillow. “Are you sure you’re ready for this, my pretty human?”
“Uh huh,” you nod, swallowing thickly. “I told you,” you lean up, letting your lips ghost past his while you stare into his eyes, “ravage me.”
Your vampire lover groans, smashing his mouth to yours and squeezing your hand, then he begins to thrust into you and your mind goes completely blank. He fills you up perfectly- it’s like you were always meant to be full in this way.
Now that you’ve tasted this, how can you ever get enough?
You can tell he’s holding back, can tell he’s still trying to be careful with your fragile form. You lock your legs tighter around his hips, a wordless encouragement to go harder. You wonder what it’s going to be like once you’re on his level, once you’re a vampire like him. If sex with him feels this good and he’s only at a fraction of his power, you bet undying fucking will kill you all over again.
Each snap of his hips presses his cock deep into your core, and your walls greedily eat him up. You’re moaning desperately against his mouth, squeezing his hand while tangling your fingers through his hair with the other.
Wonwoo’s fangs drag by your lip, teasing you just enough to be on the verge of painful.
You’re so lost in him you don’t even care, you bite him back, tugging on his curls and whimpering a sound of affirmation. This time, when his teeth make contact with your lip, it’s with enough force to pierce.
Wonwoo groans immediately, suckling on your lower lip. It’s throbbing slightly, but unlike when he goes for your neck, his teeth aren’t still inside of you. He’s simply made a small incision, and now your vampire lover is making the most of it, kissing you so greedily that you can’t even taste the metallic proof of what he’s just done.
He simply can’t get enough of you, and you can’t get enough of him. You push on the hand capturing yours to the bed and Wonwoo relents, allowing you to grab at his shoulder while he fucks you harder, pressing you into the mattress.
With his fingers now free, he shoves them between your bodies, rubbing your clit and making your legs shake around his hips.
With each lick and suck at your bleeding lip, he’s getting rougher with you. Your life’s blood is giving him strength, making him more feral, and you’re enjoying the show.
Your pussy is throbbing again, just like your lip, and you know you’re achingly close to another orgasm. When has cumming ever been this easy? Wonwoo feels like a dream, or perhaps a nightmare, you’re still not sure.
“Close, darling?” Wonwoo asks, dragging his tongue across your teeth. You taste something on him, and realize he’s bitten himself, allowing his blood to heal your lip wound just as suddenly as it had been given.
You nod, crying out as he rubs your clit harder. He stares down at you, in the dark there are angular shadows on his face, his pretty cheekbones all sharp-
“You look…” he licks his lips, “beautiful.”
“Wonwoo-” you whimper, body shuddering at the praise, your core twisting and aching as he continues to fuck into you wildly.
“That’s it,” the vampire coos, “cum on my cock, I need to feel you.”
You literally can’t help yourself. His voice is too sexy, his cock is too big, and you’re way too deep into the kinkiness of bloodsharing vampire sex to refuse any command he gives you. You let out a cry of ecstasy as your second orgasm of the night slams into you, ravaging your form and making you see stars.
Wonwoo buries his face against your neck, teasing you with his teeth and tounge while he fucks you through his high. With each second of overstimulated pleasure, you hang on the edge of anticipation, wondering if he’s about to bite you-
But he doesn’t. He simply works you through your orgasm until you’re a shaking mess.
You can feel tears in your eyes, but you’re not quite sure why they’re there.
When Wonwoo looks down at you again, he notices your tears, his brows furrowing. But he doesn’t question you on it, he simply brushes them away with his thumb while you shiver and recollect yourself after that mind numbing high.
You drag his face in for a kiss, pouring all your emotions into the merging of your lips. It must be clear to him that you’re okay, that you’re feeling just a little broken right now- but to be fair, you had asked him to ravage you.
There are underlying feelings being brought up, and in the periphery of your mind, you’re questioning your own mortality.
This is your last night on earth as a human, your last hour even- and although you know Wonwoo will take care of you, there’s something scary about it.
You’re diving into the deep, dark, unknown with your new soulmate, entrusting him as your guide after living an entire life without trusting anyone.
Trusting feels foreign to you, but you do trust Wonwoo, and that’s a scary thought in and of itself.
“Okay,” you say, swallowing thickly and letting out a shaky breath, “I’m ready for more.”
“I’d almost worried I’d broken you,” Wonwoo admits, pressing another soft kiss to your lips.
“It was a good broken,” you tell him, heart swelling in your chest at the fact that he’d been concerned for you.
“And now my little human wants more,” Wonwoo muses. “You’re not as fragile as you look, are you, darling?”
You shake your head.
“Think you can get on your knees for me?” the vampire asks, pushing his body weight off of you.
“Uh huh,” you nod, whimpering a little at the loss of his cock from your core. You get into position, turning your back to him and adjusting on your knees, wiggling you ass gently to entice him.
“Pretty human,” Wonwoo breathes, hands ghosting down your sides before taking two fistfuls of your bum and squeezing.
You feel his cock at your entrance again, and he pushes into you, making you both moan. In this position it almost feels like he hits deeper. You go fully doggy, resting your face against his pillows and arching your back.
“I’d tell you to be good for me, but I’m pretty sure I’ve fucked the brat out of you already. Isn’t that right, darling?” He lands a gentle smack to your ass that has you whimpering.
He’s such a cocky asshole and it makes you groan. You can feel yourself throb around him at his words, betraying what you really think about the line he’s just used on you.
“That’s what I thought.” You can practically hear him grinning, and his hands move to your waist. His touch is almost bruising, but it feels so good as he begins to thrust into you again. Each movement has his hips hitting your ass, and the sound of sex fills the room.
You love the noises he’s making, soft, breathy groans, and deep rumbles that border on growls. There’s no time for talking anymore, your mind is much more preoccupied in the pleasure building within you both.
You’re still sensitive from two orgasms, so when you slip your hand under your body to rub your clit, your pussy immediately reacts. You clench tightly around Wonwoo, who lets out a moan at the sensation, fucking you even harder and faster.
Each thrust has you crying out now, whines of desperation slipping out of you while you rub your clit, eyes shut.
Suddenly, Wonwoo is wrapping a hand around the front of your throat, pulling you up onto your knees with your back to his chest. His lips ghost by your ear. “So eager to cum again?” he asks.
You can only nod, grabbing at the forearm now pinned against your front while Wonwoo’s other hand tightens around your neck. He’s buried deep inside of you now, unmoving, and you’ve never felt this full.
“You know what happens when you cum, don’t you, darling?”
“I-” You’re so delirious from his cock you can’t even think.
“‘When we cum, you can turn me,’ that’s what you said, wasn’t it, pet?” Wonwoo lets out a chuckle. “Are you really that eager? Or just a little dim with my cock buried so deep in this perfect pussy of yours?”
“I remember,” you gasp, head beginning to swim with how hard he’s gripping your throat.
“So you are eager,” the vampire confirms. “That’s cute.”
He lets go of you, pushing you down to the bed. His hand finds the back of your neck and he holds your face down, grabbing your hip with the other. “I guess you can cum as fast as you want, little pet. I’d be happy to taste you again.”
You’re gasping against the pillow, enjoying how rough he’s being with you now. There’s something about having his hand on your neck, keeping you down while he begins to fuck into you again.
“Are you close?” you ask, enjoying the groans leaving his own lips.
Wonwoo laughs. “When you cum, I cum.”
“Lucky me,” you whisper, reaching for your clit again. Your pussy pulses with ecstasy as you begin to rub the sensitive nub, your eyes closing from the pleasure.
“Naughty human,” Wonwoo states, but there’s something like pride in his tone. “I guess I haven’t fucked the brat out of you just yet.”
“You love that I’m a brat,” you insist. “It gives you something you want to control, and we both know how much you like control.”
Wonwoo’s thrusts falter ever so slightly. “I didn’t realize you knew me so well, little soulmate.”
“I do,” you groan. “Just like I know that if I start begging, you’ll really lose your head.”
Wonwoo lets out a laugh, and you see it as a challenge.
“Please,” you whimper, rubbing your clit harder and cutting off your soulmate’s laugh. “Please, Wonwoo, I’m so close-”
The vampire behind you lets out a growl, fucking you faster. His grip on your neck pushes you down against the bed more, but it does nothing to muffle the begging that’s beginning to tumble past your lips.
“Want you to fill me up. Want you to make me see stars. Want you to bite me like only you can-”
“Fuck-” Wonwoo groans.
Suddenly he’s letting go of your neck and flipping you over. You’re not on your back for even a moment before he’s pushing into your core again, his lips eager against your own. His tongue invades your mouth, shutting up your begging while you tangle your fingers through his hair.
One of his hands is planted on the pillow next to you, and the other is on your hip, digging into your skin while he fucks you so hard the bed shakes.
“Please,” you whimper, so close to the edge you can almost taste it again.
Wonwoo’s mouth moves to your throat and your entire body tenses with anticipation, teetering on the edge of pleasure that you know is going to be nothing like anything you’ve ever experienced before.
You drag your fingers against his scalp, panting hard. “Bite me,” you beg. “Bite me, please- I’ll cum so hard if you just bite me-”
The vampire lets out a primal groan, and then his teeth are sinking into your flesh. The throbbing sensation erupts through your entire body, going straight to your core, which clenches desperately around Wonwoo’s cock.
A strangled cry leaves your lips as your orgasm overtakes you. Your grip tightens in Wonwoo’s hair, holding him to your throat as you ascend to a height of pleasure that has you weak all over-
From the noises leaving your soulmate, you know he’s just cum too, and the thought makes your body tingle as he drinks steadily from your neck.
His thrusts begin to slow, but the speed to which he’s devouring you remains a constant. Suddenly, you realize that there’s no coming back from cloud 9, you’re simply floating- floating, floating, with only his hair as your anchor, but soon, you begin to lose your grip on even that.
Your throat is really pulsing now, but it’s getting noticeably weaker, and the heat of the bite is dying down. Maybe it’s not the only thing dying, you realize, with your eyes closed and your lids too heavy to lift.
Something presses to your lips, filling your mouth with a familiar flavour.
Strawberries and stone fruits.
You do your best to swallow, but it’s kind of difficult. You’re so tired, so very tired-
“Drink up, darling,” Wonwoo says. His voice feels far away. “Come back to me. I’m not done with you yet.”
Part of you wishes you could simply drift off, but your soulmate's words are enticing. You push yourself to do as he says, drinking the sweet nectar and regaining your strength, drawing you back to him.
When you’re finally able to open your eyes, Wonwoo isn’t on top of you anymore. He’s laying in bed next to you, watching.
You roll onto your side, mirroring him. “Did I pass out?”
“I warned you that might happen,” he reminds you, reaching out to push a strand of hair away from your face.
His touch sends sparks through your body and you lick your lips, feeling pulled to the man in front of you. That’s when you realize, the lights are still off, but you can see Wonwoo perfectly. “I’m like you now,” you whisper.
“You’re like me,” Wonwoo agrees. “Do you have any regrets?”
“No,” you shake your head. “Do you?”
He’s quiet for a moment. “Just one.”
“Yeah?” You shift closer, palms flattening against his cold chest.
“After you passed out, I realized there’s one thing I never said to you while you were human, not in so many words, at least.”
“It’s not like you’ve known me long,” you try to assure him.
“That doesn’t matter,” Wonwoo insists. “I still should have said it. Like you wanting to experience me while still human, I should have said it while you still had a heart that beats.”
“I hate to break it to you, mister vampire,” you grin, taking his hand and pressing it to your chest, “but my dead heart is beating for you the same way yours beats for me. Just say it now.”
Wonwoo takes his hand from your chest, reaching up to cup your cheek. “I love you, even though I thought I’d never love anyone. I thought I’d be alone forever, but now… here you are. And I… I love you.”
You grin at your vampire mate, adoring how vulnerable he’s being with you. “I also thought I’d be alone forever,” you admit. “Thought I’d die young and bloody, which, I guess is kind of true, but you’ve given me something new, something I could have never imagined, and I can’t wait to explore this second life with you. I love you too, Wonwoo, as crazy as it sounds.”
Wonwoo grins, and you return the expression. His thumb moves up to drag past your teeth. “The fangs suit you, my love,” he muses.
The petname makes you smile wider, shifting closer and wrapping your leg around his hip, mounting the pretty vampire. “Hungry,” you whisper, leaning down to press your lips to his neck.
“We’ll have to go get you some food.”
“Not for that,” you laugh, licking his throat. “For you.”
“Are you sure you’re strong enough, darling?” Wonwoo asks. “You’ve just been turned, maybe you should rest-”
“I’ve got strength enough to have you again, that is… if you have the energy, my big, scary, vampire master.”
Now it’s his turn to moan at the new petname, even if it is said slightly in jest.
“Still a brat,” Wonwoo muses, fingers skimming down your sides.
“You’ll be entertained forever,” you insist.
“And what if master tells you to be a good girl and keep your pretty mouth shut?”
You laugh. “Then you’d miss me after a minute and ask me to start begging again.”
Wonwoo sighs in defeat, then he’s rolling the two of you so you’re on your back, pressed between him and the mattress. “I guess we might as well start your new life off with a bang, shouldn’t we, my love?”
“I’d be mad if we didn’t,” you admit.
Wonwoo only laughs, pressing his lips to yours. You might have forever with him, but right now, you’re as eager and needy as you’ve ever been, and he doesn’t mind catering to you, not one bit.

“Bratty baby is at it again,” Jeonghan says fondly, watching you saunter away from the table with Mingyu toward the bar. “Serves you right for staring at that juice box.”
“You’re not going to take my side on this one?” Wonwoo laughs, amused at the night's turn of events.
“Not a chance,” the long-haired vampire grins. “I don’t know why you’d even need to look at any of these fang bunnies with a soulmate like her.”
Wonwoo sighs, knowing his friend is right. He still can’t help but defend himself. “A man gets thirsty.”
“That’s what this is for,” Jeonghan retorts, swirling the liquid in his wine glass. “You gave up fang bunnies and juice boxes the moment you met your soulmate, and we both know it.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Wonwoo shakes his head, eyes shifting to you again. He supposes it’s only fair that you get to flirt with the bartender after he’d just been caught looking at a scantily clad woman, but the fairness of the situation does little to lessen the fire building inside of him.
You should know by now that he only has eyes for you… even if his gaze wanders from time to time. He can’t help his predatory instincts, although, he should get more of a manage on them. In fact, he should stop bringing you to vampire bars altogether, but it’s difficult to resist a night out amongst his brood mates.
“We all know this is a kink of theirs,” Joshua muses. “They fight a little, piss each other off, and then they fuck in the back of Mingyu’s car while he drives them home like a chauffeur.”
“That’s only happened twice,” Wonwoo insists.
Joshua scoffs loudly. Mingyu had to implement a no fucking in his jeep policy, it definitely happened more than twice.”

Tonight was a night that you just wanted to be left alone. But your friends demanded that you come to hang out with them since it's been weeks since you've seen them. With work being a pain in the ass and your best friend Joshua being busy with promotions left and right, living the life of an idol, you couldn't say no. You had reluctantly agreed as Joshua would be in town for a couple of weeks. There was so much for the two of you to catch up on. You reached the bar in no time, not noticing the presence lurking from a distance. Your boots tapped against the wood floors as you walked inside with a wide grin when Joshua and Lillian came into view. The younger bartender, Rayven, greeted you with a soft smile and you sent her a wave. You quickly ran into Joshua's arms as he lifted you off the ground. “I missed you guys!” You beamed as you hugged Lillian after.
“Where the fuck have you been?” She laughed and you sighed. “Work has been so chaotic the past few weeks. Being promised promotions and then watching them give it to someone else.”
“What?!”
“Y/N what happened to dropping that bullshit ass job? You said you were done.” Lillian said and you nodded. “I know. But money has been tight and the checks look really nice.”
“The checks can be better if you apply some of that medical talent you have into a hospital or something.” She rolled her eyes at your reasoning and you opened your purse to fish out your phone.
“Well most places require you to have a diploma. Something I don’t possess. So, that won't work out well.” You gave a shrug, turning to the man next to you. “What about you Josh? How’s the idol life treating you?”
“It’s a change that's for sure. But my group is amazing. They’ve been with me through thick and thin. We got a new mv coming out soon so there’s that.” He gave a small smile and both you and Lillian gasped.
“A comeback? I’ll have to tune in when it drops. Maybe upload a little reaction video.” You joked and the three of you laughed. As the two continued to speak on the topic, your eyes shifted to the window where a man stood with his hands in his pockets. Staring directly at you. You put your attention back into the conversation trying to shake the uneasy feeling bubbling in your gut. After a couple minutes you checked back to the window and he was gone. Letting out a sigh of relief you went back to searching for your phone.
“Shit. I left my phone in the car. I'll be right back.” You stepped out into the street walking across to your car. Swiping the device off the front seat you shut the door, feeling a chill as the wind blew past you. You came to a halt as a figure stood across the street from you with their hands in their pockets.
“What you got going on tonight pretty?” He asked and you shrugged. “Hanging out with some friends. Been awhile.” You replied and he chuckled. “Why don't we have some fun first?” He had blocked your way inside and you shook your head nervously. “No thanks.” You went to push him but he grabbed your arm. His eyes flickered red and you immediately snatched your arm from his grasp and backed away to give you some space. You balled your hand into a fist as you cursed yourself for getting in this situation. Should've stayed inside with Lillian and Josh. The man in front of you gave a sinister grin as his sharp canines peaked through his lips. “It won't hurt to have dinner early.” You ducked as he rushed towards you with a snarl. He kicked your ankle from under you, laughing at your attempts to get away. Your adrenaline was rushing and you kicked him in his face, causing him to fall back with a grunt. You looked him dead in the eyes with anger in your form. You'd be damned if you died in an alleyway. You felt a light burn in the palm of your hands before seeing them turn purple. Your confusion had the man staring at you with wide eyes. “Spellcaster huh? Makes tonight's meal even better.” He brought his hand down and you covered your face, feeling a sharp sting run down your arm. His nails had sharpened and sliced your skin, letting your blood drip to the ground. He brought his hand up to his lips and licked the blood off his finger. You narrowed your eyes as he bared his teeth and you shuddered at how sharp they were. “What the fuck are you?”
“Doesn't matter. You won't live long enough to find out.” Before he could lunge at you again two arms wrapped around his neck before a sickening crack was heard. His body fell to the ground with a thud and you gasped at the sight. Not knowing if you should run or stay and thank the man. You stood to your feet and noticed your savior had a familiar haircut. “Shua?” You muttered and Joshua turned to you with fear in his eyes. “Y/N…I…..” You had so many questions running through your mind as he held up his hands to show you that you were safe. “You're hurt.” You took a deep breath as his eyes shimmered a gold hue.
“What was that? Who was that guy? You just killed him.” You asked, trying to catch your breath. Not missing the way Joshua never moved towards you. You hold your arm with a frown, staring down at the body on the ground as it slowly disintegrates right in front of you. “Joshua…”
“I can explain everything but I guarantee you won't believe me.” He quickly said and you scoffed. “A guy just tried to bite my head off. Try me.” Boy if you knew just how wrong you were. Joshua had just told you about how supernatural the world around you is. Witches, werewolves, shapeshifters. Oh and your best friend of 23 years is a vampire. You had to sit in one of the bar stools for a second as he explained everything while fixing the puff on your head. “I turned when I was 17. I see the world much differently than you do. My hearing is enhanced. I'm stronger than the average person. I don’t even have a steady heartbeat if I’m being honest.” He chuckled and you gave a small nod.
“So you drink blood? From people?” you asked in a low voice and he shook his head. “Only once, years ago. Essentially to keep me alive at the time but I survive off of animal blood, even some human food. Wish I could say the same for my coven brothers though.” He gave a small smile but you could see the sadness behind his eyes. “How many of you are there?” He looked back up at you surprised you even asked and sat the gauze down. “Thirteen.” You nodded, rubbing your now bandaged arm. “Your idol group? I'm assuming.” He gave a short nod.
“That man or whatever he was. He called me a spellcaster. What does that mean?” You asked and he frowned.
“Spellcaster? Did you fight back?” Lillian suddenly asked and your brows furrowed. She didn’t sound as surprised as you were. What else are they not telling you?
“Not much. But I was just….angry instead of scared. My skin felt like it was on fire and the palms of my hands…..they turned dark. Black almost. Why?” Joshua gave a small nod as he held your hands. You shivered at how cold they were and he let out a long sigh as he let go.
“Your powers are starting to awaken. You may not remember but, your grandmother and great grandmother also had certain abilities. They did their best to keep you in the dark. Even in death.” He mumbled the last part leaving you in silence. “Come on. We can all hang out at Lillian’s place. Talk more about this.” He reached for your hand and before you could stop yourself, you snatched your hand away. Sadness swam in his dark orbs as you felt your heart rate quicken. “Y/N I know this is a lot but you have to believe me.”
“How long have you known? About me I mean?” You asked and his gaze fell to the floor before answering in a small voice. “Since your grandmother died.” You let out a scoff as your eyes watered and Joshua was starting to panic a little.
“I do believe you, Shua. I just…..I need to walk.” You said quickly, grabbing your purse and dashing out the door. Joshua tried to go after you but Lillian grabbed his arm. “Let her go. She has to get her thoughts together. She'll be okay.” She retorted and Joshua swallowed his worries.
You walked and walked. Not even realizing how far out you walked. You finally looked up to an empty street. “Fuck.” You wrapped your hands around your body as the leaves crunched under your feet. Scared. Confused. Alone. It was stupid of you to come out here by yourself. But you were overwhelmed with so many emotions, you didn't know what else to do. The distinct sound of a twig snapping nearby made you jump and you quickly scanned your surroundings. You saw no one but couldn't shake the feeling of someone watching you. You picked a direction and began walking before a voice cut through you like a hot knife. “It's dangerous out here for a girl like you.” You turned to see a man in a suit. His hand nestled in his pants pockets as he eyed you down.
“A man like you shouldn't sneak up on people.” He chuckled at your response before leaning against a fence.
“Well you seemed to be tangled up in your own thoughts. Would've been rude to just tap you on your shoulder. Had you been paying attention, you would've heard me coming.” He stared at you as you bit the inside of your cheek. “You're pretty far out from home don't you think.” His words struck a nerve and you slowly backed away from him. Trying to give yourself some distance.
“I'm quite capable of handling myself.” You said and he laughed. “You sure about that little one?” Something about the man made you uneasy as you fumbled with the bracelet in your pocket, that slowly got warmer. You turned to see a back road behind you and went to tell him you'd be on your way but when you looked back at him, he was gone. That was until a deep voice muttered in your ear. “Boo.” You jumped back as the man was now next to you with his jacket over his shoulder. “I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you.”
“How did you-”
“You're not that great at paying attention.” He smirked and you nearly missed the way his canines sharpened. Memories of his face began to rush to you as you thought about Joshua. You remember when he mentioned his coven brothers and the realization hit you like a freight train as the picture suddenly became clear. “I know you.” Your voice trembled as he raised an eyebrow with a grin.
“Do you know me? Who am I?”
“You're Kim Mingyu. Part of that one group. Seventeen is it?” You asked, backing away. He threw his head back letting out a loud laugh. “Aww a fan. I'm touched.”
“Don't flatter yourself. Shouldn't you be at a dance practice or something?” You said with as much confidence you could muster up. He remained silent but had a smirk on his lips. Your heart felt as if it was about to beat out of your chest and you turned on your heels to run. He made no move to chase you but instead stood with his head back laughing at you. Before you knew it he was in front of you, grabbing hold of your wrist. He let go as if he had been burned and on instinct you forced him away, purple energy flowing to your palm. His body flew into a nearby house and you stood confused as you stared down at your hand. Fingers tingling from whatever the hell it was you just did. Breaking from your thoughts his gaze snapped to yours before you ran again. This time making it to a familiar street and turning to check if he followed. But there was no one. The wind blew your hair into your face and you stared off into the distance. His presence was gone.
“Y/N! Where have you been? We’ve been worried sick!” A voice called out and you turned to see Lillian and Joshua. You sighed as you made your way to them with your arms around your body. You planned to remain silent about your run in with Mingyu but Joshua already had his eyes set in the direction you just came from. You followed his gaze and saw the man you encountered. “Go inside. Lock the door and don’t let anyone in if it isn’t me.” Before you could ask questions he made his way down the street and Lillian dragged you into the house. Joshua held a scowl as Mingyu carelessly leaned against the light pole, dusting off his shirt. “What did you do?”
“Me? I didn't do anything. We were having a pleasant conversation. Then your little witch attacked me. Does Seungcheol hyung know you're hiding her?” He smirked and Joshsua balled his fist. “A vampire being friends with a witch is unheard of.”
“I'm not hiding her. She didn't know anything about the supernatural. Barely even believed it. You showing up probably awakened her abilities she didn't even know she had.” Josh sneered and he shrugged.
“She knows enough, Josh. She knows about us. But you know that.” Another voice cut in and the man snapped his head to see Seungkwan standing with his hands in his pockets. “He isn't going to let that slide. She could expose us.”
“She won't.”
“And how do you know?” Joshua froze at the sound of Jeonghan's icy voice before looking past Mingyu at the blonde. “She could open her mouth. Not saying people would believe her but still. If it was Seungcheol instead of Mingyu, your little witch would've been killed out there. But you know that. I have to do my duty as second in command to report this to him. He'll have her head.”
“She's no threat to us.” Joshua couldn't find the words to say as challenging Jeonghan would be suicide. “We'll see about that.” Jeonghan held a sadistic smirk that made Joshua's body run cold.
“See about what?” Another voice cut into the conversation and Joshua swore his vampire blood ran cold. He turned just as Seungcheol arrived with the rest of the coven and shut his eyes with a sigh. “What will we see about?” Everyone remained quiet and Seungcheol narrowed his eyes at his coven's silence. “I won't ask again.”
“Go ahead, tell him Joshua.” Joshua locked eyes with his coven leader and felt his heart drop to his stomach.
You’d been sitting there in silence for half an hour and you couldn’t help but think about Josh. Was he okay? Did he get hurt? What of Mingyu? The thoughts became unbearable and you stood to your feet, heading over to the window. Glancing out past the curtains into the empty street. There was nothing. No one. “He should've been back by now.” You muttered walking to the door as Lillian ran a hand through her hair. “Don't even think about it. We stay put like he said.” You turned to face her and noticed her mixing different spices she had in her cabinet. “How can you be cooking at a time like this?”
“I'm not. I'm brewing a protection spell.” She answered and you frowned. “Spell? As in a witch spell?”
“Y/N there's still so much you have to learn.” She started and you felt your eyes water. She gave a small sigh as she finished the concoction and hung it over the door. “You and I come from a long line of witches. As Joshua told you earlier, your great grandmother and grandmother were witches as well. Some excelled in spellcasting while others were able to master healing magic. You seem to have both as I noticed the burns immediately heal from your power. Which is extremely rare and with everyone keeping you in the dark, you never learned how to use them. Have you ever been able to lift something with a wave of your hand? Pushing things, pulling things? With your mind.” As she explained everything started to become clearer. You had always thought that it was your mind playing tricks on you. But now it all makes sense. Too much sense. “I'm going to enchant the house. You should get some rest. I do understand it's a lot to take in.”
“But Josh…” She held your shoulders as she led you to the couch. “I'll be on the lookout for him. Now go rest.” She gave your hair a small pat and you had tried your best to stay awake. Watching Lillian carry around a glass throughout the house before your eyes fluttered closed.
Leaves crunched under your feet as you ran as fast as you could carry yourself. Everywhere you looked he was there. A man with dark hair and blood red eyes. His chuckle echoed through the forest surrounding you as you tried to catch your breath. But no matter how far you got he always seemed to be two steps ahead. You backed up into a body and turned to find him smirking down at you. He raised an eyebrow before his head shot out and wrapped around your throat. Leaning close to your ear you felt him smirk against your skin. “You should know little one, I love when they run.”
You shot up off the couch covered in sweat, noticing you're still in Lillian’s house. She sat on the other couch with a dagger in her hand. She rushed to your side upon noticing your distraught breathing. “You're okay. It was just a dream.” She mumbled rubbing your arms. You brought your hand to your face with a sigh. “What time is it?”
“11:30 I'm about to make breakfast. Joshua should be back tonight. Go wash up.” She said before you go up to head to the bathroom. You shut the door and looked at yourself in the mirror. Your brown eyes were puffy and your curls disheveled. But your wide eyed gaze went down to your neck. Where a dark bruise started to form along your skin. Right where his hand had been. You took a quick shower and walked past the kitchen. “I have to grab some things from home. I'll be back in a bit.” You closed the door before she could say anything else and made a dash down the empty sidewalk. Your mind was occupied with everything you've been told floating around like fish. Not even paying attention to the world around you. A hand pressed over your lips and you thrashed as you were dragged behind an abandoned house. The person let go and you scoffed, looking up at Joshua.
“You can't just ask me to talk like a normal person?!” You shouted and he rubbed the back of his neck. “Sorry. I just wanted to make sure you were safe.”
“I was worried sick!”
“I know. I know. Y/N there’s more you have to know. With you being a witch and all. I just needed to tell you to watch your back out here. There's more covens out there than just us.” He told you and you felt your stomach drop. “Once others get word of a witch in the area, you'll be a target. So you have to keep it a secret. No one but Lillian can know about…….”
He paused his sentence and looked at you with sad eyes. “You need to get out of here.”
“Josh wha…”
“But we just got here. She shouldn't leave now.” You looked over Joshua's shoulder as four figures stood around the two of you. Lee Jihoon, Jeon Wonwoo, Kwon Soonyoung and Kim Mingyu. You recognized them as some of his group mates. Wonwoo placed a hand on the back of Joshua's neck causing him to fall to his knees with his eyes closed. “You've done enough.” A low voice said in his ear as he was pulled away from you before you could grab onto him. You found yourself rooted to the ground as the four of them had you surrounded. “You seem scared little dove. We don't bite.”
“Hard.” Jihoon grinned as you felt a wall behind you. You had no choice but to fight. Again. You moved to defend yourself but Soonyoung was already behind you, Pinning your hands behind your back. You hissed in pain as his grip tightened the more you struggled. “Soonyoung is the fastest out of all of us. You won't even get a spell off with him here.” You brought your hand up to his wrist and squeezed, causing him to shout in pain as searing heat emitted from your palm. Mingyu took the chance to kick your leg from under you but you turned in time to deflect with your own kick. It won't do much damage but it will give you distance. Soonyoung dashed towards you and you pulled a hidden dagger from your boot, swinging in time to cut his cheek. He brought a hand up to wipe the cut as his eyes flickered a dark crimson color before rushing at you at full speed. You felt your fear spike and crouched a small barrier appearing before you. You forced Soonyoung away from you before the man relaxed into a carefree stance. You grew confused until his eyes locked behind you and Mingyu rubbed a hand under his chin.
“You're in trouble now girl.” You suddenly felt a presence behind you and quickly threw up a barrier before a fist collided with the purple aura. The man immediately threw another punch without giving you time to recover, shattering the barrier before you and wrapping a hand around your throat. “Let go!” You pleaded but your words fell on deaf ears as you were lifted off your feet and closer to the man. Your vision blurred as he tossed you into the wall. You back stung as you coughed trying to catch your breath. Before you could react he grabbed a fist full of your hair, his fingers tangled in your curls while bearing his teeth at you. Your eyes clenched shut at the sting surging through your scalp. Mingyu chuckled at your struggle as you clawed at the hand in your hair. When your eyes shot open you were met with a dark crimson iris staring down at you. He lifted your head to catch your unfocused brown eyes and his grip loosened. You missed how his expression softened for a split second as he dropped you to the floor. You went into a coughing fit as the others watched on with confused stares. Jeonghan stood in the alleyway as he exchanged a knowing look with the woman next to him.
“Everyone back to the dorm, we’ll hunt tomorrow night.” Jeonghan said abruptly and all eyes flickered to his relaxed form.
“Come on Jeonghan, she cut me.” Soonyoung whined but the blonde was not impressed.
“None of you were supposed to be out here in the first place. Do not make me repeat myself.” One by one they all walked past you in silence as Jeonghan approached his leader. “You too Seungcheol.” He looked down at you one last time before walking away with his head down. The mysterious woman reached a hand out to you and you reluctantly accepted her help. She nodded to the blonde before he too left the area, leaving the two of you alone.
What the fuck was that? Why did he stop himself?
“Honesty I'm not quite sure.” She spoke as if she read your mind. “When it comes to the boys, Seungcheol isn't one to hesitate. He loves them as if they were his own and would do anything to keep them safe. That includes killing. Which brings up the million dollar question, why did he stop himself from killing you?” You stared up at her with confusion floating in your dark orbs trying to make sense of everything. “Anyway. I have a strong feeling they won't be bothering you anymore. But you should take Joshua's words into consideration. Watch your back out here.” With that she gave you a small smile as she turned her back and left the area, leaving you alone.
Back at the dorm Joshua felt all eyes on him. He had already tried to explain his story but Seungkwan and Mingyu were not having any of it. “She's a danger to all of us! We should've killed her when we had the chance.” Seungkwan’s words made Joshua wince and Mingyu laughed at his brother's anger.
“This is Joshua's fault. He should have never told her. I'll see to it that it's quick and painless.” Another voice spoke and Joshua looked over at Jun. “Like hell you will.”
“After all this you're still protecting her? For what?” Wonwoo questioned and Joshua sighed. “She's my best friend. She has been there with me through thick and thin. I'm not going to hurt her because she knows the truth.” He spoke quickly before Soonyoung cut in once more. “If she betrays you then what? You're putting us all in jeopardy for someone who doesn't even know what she's capable of.”
“What's the point when none of you are listening to me?” Joshua sighed and Mingyu stood to his feet. “Fuck what you have to say! I'm sick of you and your little --”
“ENOUGH.” Another voice boomed, silencing any debates and everyone turned to see Seungcheol taking a seat on a nearby stool suppressing his coughs. No one dared speak when their leader walked into the room. “This girl could potentially be a threat to us if she puts her mind to it. She could be dangerous. From here on out no one is going to go near her. Let the other covens deal with her. She lives out her life out there. We live out ours here.” Joshua froze as his coven leader's piercing eyes landed on him. “And I do mean no one. Unless any of you have an objection.”
To say you were on edge was the understatement of the century. You still have yet to see or hear from Joshua and it's been 3 days. Everyday you wake up in hopes that he would be downstairs while Lillian made breakfast. Running a hand through your hair you stalked downstairs with your mind made up not letting Lillian get her greeting out. “Hey how are….”
“I want to learn how to properly use my powers.” You said with slight determination as she sat down the bowl of biscuits on the table. “O-okay. I can teach you the basics but after breakfast. It won't do you any good on an empty stomach.” The next couple of hours weren't easy for you. You kept trying to lift random items Lillian placed in front of you with no luck. They would shake but never floated or moved. Lillian pointed her finger and gave you a slight shock every time you failed. “Ow! Would you stop that!”
“Not. Until. You. Get. It. Right.” After each word she sent another jolt through you and you clenched your jaw. “How do you think you'll help Joshua if you can't even do a simple exercise? Being one with the world of sorcery isn't for the weak Y/N.” You grew tired of her talking down on you and gave the space in front of you a forceful push out of pure frustration. The vase was thrown back into a tree, shattering into pieces upon impact and Lillian gave you a knowing smile. You stood in shock as you brought your hand to your face. “Is that all I can do?”
“Most likely not. But other abilities manifest based on situations. The basics is all I can teach you.” You looked down at your feet and she sighed. “Meditation is the key. You'll learn to open your eyes in the world of the supernatural. But you have to open your mind first.” She said and you raised an eyebrow. “Now you want to talk in riddles?” The training went on for a couple more hours and the sun was beginning to set. You wiped sweat from your forehead and leaned against the tree.
“This is only the beginning Y/N. What comes next won't be easy.”
“I know.”

p.s. i imagined kyeom wearing this fit when writing this, so do w that information what you want ;)
“Package for Y/N L/N!” Seokmin chirped, used to delivering to your apartment.
He stared at your gray door, waiting for a response. Somehow, he always ended up being the one to drop off your packages. It was not something he minded since he had only encountered you a handful of times. Each time was with you wearing an oversized hoodie and muttering a soft comment of gratitude for the package. You were always quick to close your door, a sign that made Seokmin know not to converse with you for too long.
Most days he left the deliveries by your door, just taking a confirmation picture for the company. Yet today, something was off. It was suspiciously quiet. Even a homebody like you made noise of shuffling to indicate that you were inside your apartment and would pick up the package once he left.
“Customer L/N? Are you okay?”
More silence. Seokmin’s worry only peaked as he saw a thick red liquid begin leaking out from under your door. It couldn’t be…
Seokmin started banging on your door, asking repeatedly if you were injured or needed help, only to be met with no response. Out of desperation, he tried to open your door. To his surprise, the door immediately opened. He knew he was breaking a thousand rules and policies by entering, but blood and an unlocked door screamed someone in need of help to him.
He walked into your pitch-black apartment, calling for you once again. His hand reached for the light switch, but after several times flipping the switch up and down, he came to the conclusion that the lights wouldn’t turn on. Still, he needed to find you. Following the trail of blood, one thing became clear to him. You were gravely hurt…enough to lose this large of an amount of blood.
Walking into your kitchen, the trail finally ended. In front of Seokmin was the body of an elderly man. Although he had never gotten a proper look at your face, he knew that your voice didn’t match this man’s body. He ran over to the man, checking the pulse on his wrist. It was too late. He hovered his fingers over the man’s mouth, in hopes of any signs of breath, even if faint. Yet again, it was unsuccessful.
How the hell is the meek person he’s been delivering to for years capable of murdering someone?
Before he could think any further, Seokmin could hear your voice from afar. His eyes darted from the window in the living room to the bathroom. Surely, there had to be a better exit to escape. But your keys jangling in the hallway made his decision for him. He hurriedly opened the window, trying his best to slither out from your apartment and making plans to notify someone as soon as he got to safety.
Tumblr media
“Why do you always have to kill them in my apartment, Seungcheol?” You groan at your ex-boyfriend’s antics over the phone, sick of cleaning up his messes.
“You clean ‘em up so well, Y/N. Really, it’s freaky how good you are at cleaning,” Seungcheol reasons, making you more irritated at the unexpected mess you would have to get rid of.
“You would think after centuries of killing you would have gotten better too, Cheol. This is the last time, I swear. Do you even-”
Rounding the corner of your hallway, you freeze. Someone’s in your apartment. You could hear their abnormally fast heartbeat, indicating fear.
“Do I even what?”
“Nothing. I gotta go,” You hang up on him, knowing that will result in him nagging your ear off the next time you talk to him. But, a sulking Seungcheol was the least of your worries right now.
Your door was already slightly open, with blood pouring out from underneath. Putting your keys away you cursed, Choi Seungcheol, if you weren’t undead already I would kill you with my bare hands.
Nevertheless, you crept as quietly as you could manage into your place. Bloody shoe prints could be seen all over your floor, notably along your windowsill. You swiftly followed the scent of Seokmin, the delivery man you had become semi-acquainted with in the past couple of years. His scent was aided by the blood trail he left behind. Humans are such idiots, you thought to yourself as you jumped through the same window he fled from.
Tumblr media
“SOMEONE, ANYONE, SAVE ME!” Seokmin knew his screaming would be in vain, but still something inside of him made him want to try every method of saving himself, even if it was futile.
“Seokmin, Seokmin! Stop screaming, jesus. It wasn’t me who did that in there,” You sigh, catching up to him and placing a hand on his shoulder.
He still tried to run away, completely convinced you were responsible for the unidentified corpse in your apartment. You held him in place with your grip on his shoulder tightening.
“How can you prove that, you monster!” Seokmin spits, still able to face you due to the adrenaline rushing through his veins.
You pulled out your phone to show the monitoring app for the security camera that you installed months ago. Who would’ve thought that it would prove your innocence? No, who would’ve thought you would’ve wanted to prove your own innocence? Regardless, you backed up the film to three hours ago, turning the screen towards Seokmin. He looks intently at your screen, horrified at the brutal crime he sees take place.
“Wait-how, how do you know my name?”
“Didn’t you find it odd that you always got the packages to deliver to my place? I requested that you drop off my stuff whenever they came, out of convenience since you knew to just drop off the packages and leave quietly, that is, until tonight,” You explained nonchalantly with a terrified Seokmin still at your mercy.
“So, you stalked me? Oh my god, I’ve been delivering to a crazy person for the past two years,” Seokmin cried. His body was shaking, still appalled with how you were able to stay unfazed at the murder you just witnessed with him.
“First I was a monster and now I’m a crazy person. I guess that’s an improvement,” You smirked, releasing your grip on his shoulder.
“Well, now that we’ve confirmed I’m not the culprit I hope you can carry on with your deliveries-” You stop mid sentence, finally noticing the blood on Seokmin’s hands. That’s why he was so afraid. Blood affects even human’s emotions. Well, that and he probably figured you were the one who killed the poor soul in your apartment.
But you couldn’t shake the scent that he had. It was familiar, almost too familiar. You couldn’t place your finger on it and it was driving you insane. His smell, it was almost like, almost like a-
“Drop the act, Seokmin,” you deadpan, irritated that you hadn’t realized his identity earlier.
“What act?”
“You’re really playing this out until the end? Fine, but at least don’t pose like an innocent human for fucks’ sake,”
His eyebrows knitted together, “But, I am an innocent human!”
You put your hand on his chest, wanting to feel his heartbeat for confirmation.
“Say that again,” you commanded, the vibrant red glow of your eyes becoming visible as your body became more conscious of the blood on his hands.
Seokmin gulped nervously. Whatever you were, it was definitely worse than the original speculation he had that you were a killer.
“I-I’m an in-innocent human…” He stuttered, intentionally saying the sentence slower upon your order.
His heartbeat, while albeit fast, wasn’t changing enough to prove he’s lying. He was either a damn skilled liar or didn’t know about his true identity either.
“You have to be shitting me…” You muttered.
His face was still contorted in confusion, not able to understand what was happening. You didn’t give him enough time to process what was happening either, grabbing one of his arms to test your theory out.
“My…my arm? Wh-” His questioning was cut short as you grabbed the arm from the elbow and twisted it enough to break the bone. The pain was enough to cause a blood curdling scream from him. He held onto his limp arm with his other hand.
“WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!” Seokmin’s infuriated tone confirmed your theory. He had no idea whatsoever of who- no, what he is.
“Let’s go back to my place, we’ve spent too much time outside,” You hushed, feeling more sorry that you just broke his arm.
“No, why would I ever go with you! You just broke my fucking arm and you expect me to be all happy-go-lucky and follow you? Fuck that L/N,” He was still holding his arm, glaring at you.
You rubbed your temples with your hand, in pure disbelief at how unaware he was of his life and power.
“Seokmin, try moving your arm-” You began.
“Why would I ever want to do that? You just want to cause me immense pain don’t you?” He growled at you.
You reached over to grab his supported arm, to which he attempted to dodge your touch. You were still more agile than him though and soon enough his arm fell down to his side.
His eyebrows once again knitted together in confusion after feeling no pain anymore. He looked at his arm, only to be utterly bewildered at how it was not broken.
“What did you do to me?” He sobbed, finally letting his tears flow.
His tears took you aback, unused to emotions. Time to rip the band-aid off since he wouldn’t listen to you any other way.
“Seokmin, I don’t know how to tell you this in a sugar coated way. So, here it goes. You’re a werewolf, freshly turned. I didn’t do anything to you besides break your arm. You were able to heal your injury because werewolves have regenerative abilities,” You informed him.
“You-you’re out of your mind,” He mumbled before fainting, the events of the night finally catching up to his body. More importantly, the adrenaline wearing off.
Well, at least you can take him back to your apartment without any objections.
Tumblr media
The walk back to your apartment was luckily met with no crises of humans seeing you, due to how it was past midnight at this point. If they did, you knew you would be completely screwed. You were currently holding Seokmin by hoisting him over your shoulder, making his body look as if it was a potato sack.
Soon enough, you were back. Yet, the hallway wasn’t blanketed in more blood than you had left it in. In fact, it was void from any signs of blood. You picked up on a scent once again, this time one that you knew would cause headaches.
Opening your door, you immediately headed to your couch to place Seokmin down. He was still visibly distraught, with a permanent frown on his face as he slept. Turning away from him, you took a deep breath for the approaching conversation.
“How did you handle all the blood on the floor outside?” You questioned, amazed by the spotless appearance of the hallway’s tiles.
“I licked it up,” Seungcheol began to explain but seeing your expression of disgust made him stop.
“Do you realize how revolting you sound? That floor has so many germs, I don’t even know the last time they cleaned it,” You groaned.
“We’ve feasted in dirtier conditions, have we not?”
You wince, “Don’t use the word ‘feast’ when you talk about humans. You know I hate the sheer disregard you have for their lives.”
He shrugs, “Prey is prey.”
“And thank you for reminding me why we broke up…” You trailed off, finding a washcloth in your linen closet.
“Aw, you need a reminder why we broke up? I know our sex was amazing but to think you’re still hung up on me? My sweet Y/N,” Seungcheol walked over to you, having his fingers lightly graze your jawline.
You quickly batted his hand away. Walking over to the kitchen sink to help wash the dry blood off of Seokmin’s unconscious self. You stepped over the dead body, irritated that Seungcheol still hadn’t disposed of it.
“Why haven’t you taken this away from my apartment yet, Cheol?” You whispered through clenched teeth at him, not wanting to wake Seokmin up.
“Don’t you want a taste, even if it’s just a little?” He tempted, walking over to the corpse and lifting the head up ever so slightly from the ground. His eyes turned red at the thought of you drinking again in his presence.
“It’s been over a century since I last drank from a human, give it a rest.”
“A century for us is like a decade for humans. You know, it’s never too late to come back to the coven,” Seungcheol attempts to convince you.
“Seungcheol, we both know why they kicked me out. I mean, look at me right now. If anything that isn’t helping my case,” You placed the washcloth under running water, pointing to the unconscious man on your couch.
“Well, I’m sure you had your reasons. Just like you had reasons back then,” Seungcheol’s tone softens, dropping the head in his hands.
“Reasons for breaking the number one rule of the coven?” You laugh at his naivety, “Cheol, they said if they saw me again in their area they would kill me on the spot. Now imagine if they found out I, not only, am in their area, but again, am also saving a werewolf,” You turned off the water, ringing the excess water out of it.
“They would have to go through me first, I wouldn’t just let you die Y/N,” Seunghcheol’s tone was softer, as he pulled out a chair from your kitchen table to sit down.
“How heroic of you. You weren’t even supposed to know what happened tonight, although it is your fault since I assume he came in since he saw blood. Anyways, the moment I’m alive again is when I will let you save me. You love the coven, I can’t ruin that for you,”
“The coven means nothing to me since you were exiled, Y/N. I didn’t ever love the coven, I love you and followed you into it,” Seungcheol reminds you.
“Seungcheol…” You began.
His professions of love weren’t anything new to you. You assumed he was using them as a tactic to make you come back to the coven, but in the past two centuries or so, it had been harder for you to accept your identity. The coven only made the fact that you were a vampire more real.
Tumblr media
Stirring from his sleep, Seokmin slowly started opening his eyes. He was back in your apartment, watching you and an unknown man whisper. His heartbeat quickened again, recalling the events of the night. He had to get out of your apartment. He tried standing, only to instantly fall back on the couch. You walked over to him with Seungcheol in tow.
“I can’t believe I’m a werewolf,” Seokmin whimpered, “I mean how did I even become one?”
“At least you know one other monster,” You reassured with as warm of a smile that you could manage. You knew it had to be confusing for him, it was confusing for you and Seungcheol when you suddenly woke up, undead, all those centuries ago.
“Two,” Seungcheol corrects from behind you, still scowling at the werewolf on your couch.
You turned to him since his tone was laced with hostility. Unsurprisingly, his eyes were glowing in an attempt to assert dominance over Seokmin.
“Stop trying to scare him, Cheol. I think he can tell you’re scary enough from the permanent cherry tint on your lips from all the blood you drink…”
“His lips are red from drinking blood?” Seokmin questions, his fear growing for his future diet, “Will I…will I have to drink blood too?”
“No, no. I don’t even drink human blood anymore. I can teach you how to hunt some other day, but right now you should just get some rest,” You pat his hand, sure that your behavior shift was confusing for him. Less than two hours ago you broke his arm, now you expect him to sleep over?
Seungcheol rolls his eyes and heads towards your bedroom.
“Uh, what are you doing going into my bedroom?” Your eyes drift to the corpse in your kitchen once again, indicating you would not be the one to remove it.
“Don’t you want me to stay for the time being? I mean one vampire and an inexperienced mutt won’t stand a chance against the coven,” Seungcheol says as if he’s stating the obvious.
Seokmin gulps, having fur ears start growing out of nervousness. How did he go from being a delivery man to werewolf in one night? How did he manage to find a safe haven in a vampire’s house? He could feel himself turning hot, overwhelmed by all the changes.
“I just want to go back to being a delivery man,” His defeated self, still was stuck in his feelings as you and Seungcheol exchanged glances.
“I know this isn’t what you expected, but we will help you and-” You look to Seungcheol still standing in your bedroom’s doorway.
“And we will protect you,” He adds grumpily.
“Promise?” Seokmin’s puppy eyes look up at you.
“Promise,” You and Seungcheol assure in unison.

seungcheol’s hand twists around your hair, grabbing a fistful of it to pull you off his cock. ‘stick your tongue out for me’ he cooes. you feel quick steady taps against your wet tongue and immediately you can tell it’s not his cock anymore. who is it today?
you don’t have time to dwell on that thought as seungcheol shoves your head forward, the cock sliding into your mouth as you hear a low satisfied groan. this man, whoever he was, was much more unforgiving than seungcheol, and you can feel it in the way he uses your mouth — like it’s not attached to the rest of you.
it’s not long before you feel your jaw ache and you start slacking, barely putting in any effort into pleasuring him.
‘tch, is this how we treat our guests? i know you can do better than that’ seungcheol chides, disappointed in you.
you hear the man zip up before he bends down, now eye-level with you. ‘open your mouth’ he speaks with an unexpected low drawl that makes your toes curl. he pushes his thumb inside your mouth, the coldness of it making you shiver, and the shiver making your nipples hard. faintly, you hear someone laugh. the man goes deeper, probing further and further until you finally gag.
‘are you tired?’ he questions and you shake your head no. ‘it’s okay if you are’ something tells you not to admit to that.
‘i’m not tired’ you say aloud, immediately regretting it, and a second later feel a sharp sting across your face ‘i don’t remember giving you permission to speak to me’
‘wonwoo, you’re scaring her’ you hear someone hum and you freeze, your blood curdling. he’s here again.
‘am i?’ icy fingers grip onto your blindfold, yanking them off as your eyes try to adjust to the darkness, and when his silhouette becomes sharper you almost gasp — inches away from you is one of the most beautiful vampires you’ve ever seen. it’s blinding beauty and it feels like if you look at him too long you’ll lose your mind; so you drop your gaze to the floor.
‘am i scaring you?’ he asks and you shake your head again.
‘see, she’s not scared’ he turns around to tell them. ‘them’ are the familiar figures that sit at the back, hidden in the shadows. you still don’t know their names — you’re left so mindfucked each time you can barely remember a thing. they all come and go, most don’t even touch you, they just want to watch a human being toyed with.
‘you know-’ he turns back to you ‘-i don’t really care for humans but i have to admit i do like how nice and warm they feel when i fuck them’ he runs two fingers down your neck. ‘and he’ his eyes flicker to seungcheol and back ‘tells me you’re a really good slut. tells me you begged to live so you could become one’
‘so, if you can’t even do that properly then there’s no point keeping you alive’ he whispers, pushing his sharp nails into the throbbing pulse in your neck.
‘that’s enough’ seungcheol steps forward.
a snarky little smile pulls at wonwoo’s lips ‘why? have you grown attached to your pet?’ he mocks, attempting to rile him up.
‘now now, let’s not fight in front of the human’ you hear him again, a shiver running down your spine. you remember the last time he was here — him and the other one took turns with you for hours. it was brutal. so why does your pussy throb thinking about it?
you hear his sadistic hum echo off the stone walls as he tugs at the chain that’s attached to you. he drags you towards him, watching you crawl across the floor to where he’s sitting.
‘i hope we didn’t ruin the mood for you’
you say nothing.
‘did we?’ you know from experience there’s no right answer here. ‘yes? no?’ he pushes, itching for you to answer.
‘jeonghan, i think you’re the one that’s scaring her’ someone laughs and you feel your blood curdle for the second time. the other one is here too.
your pulse picks up, your heart beating through your chest a million times a minute. you try to calm yourself down but it refuses to steady. are you scared? excited? both?
‘ooh, i think she likes you joshua. can you hear that? her heart is beating so fast’ jeonghan tattles like a snotty kid revealing your crush to the class.
‘aww, you like me? come here’ jeonghan drops the chain as you turn to joshua. he claps his hands calling you towards him like a dog. you crawl to him, the cold stone under you bruising your knees; but every time you get closer, joshua takes one step back. you can hear hushed snickers from the audience as he does it again and again, taking longer strides each time.
‘joshua, her knees’ seungcheol warns. he hated bruises on his human pets.
‘okay, okay, i won’t tease anymore’ he stops, letting you reach him.
‘now let's not forget our manners. when you greet someone you should bow. i’ll go first’ he bows to you, causing jeonghan to chuckle. that sick laugh triggers memories of last time. these two played off each other's energy constantly — when one laughed, so did the other; when one was cruel, the other followed. they were so in sync, right down to the way they fucked you.
‘now you go!’
you bend, bowing low, feeling hot humiliation burn through your body.
‘lower’ he lifts his foot up and places it on your back, pressing down till you can’t bow any further. ‘how polite’ he smiles a smile that reaches his eyes.
‘see, we have such an obedient slut here, so why are you wasting time fighting?’ jeonghan taps his nails on the armrest before letting out a long sigh ‘now someone please fuck her, i’m bored’
‘get up’ joshua pulls you up by the chain. ‘choose!' he points around the room 'who do you want to fuck the most? we’ll start off with them'
you look around, your eyes drawn to wonwoo. it’s almost hypnotic the way you feel compelled to look at him. your body wants him…and so does your mind? there’s a voice repeating his name in your head that you're sure doesn't belong to you.
joshua’s eyes follow yours ‘how interesting..’
‘well, wonwoo’ he lets go of the chain as it hits the floor with a resounding clang ‘she’s all yours’
wonwoo smirks, walking over. behind him you see seungcheol’s face sour, his eyebrows pulled together.
wonwoo walks leisurely, a warm wetness spreading between your legs as he practically devours you with his eyes on the way.
the closer he gets, the more you realise just how tall he is. his lean frame towers over you as he grabs your jaw making you look up at him. under his rough grip he can feel it all — your blood rushing, your rhythmic pulse, the heat of your skin — you feel so alive and that makes him so hard.
he takes his thumb rubbing it across your plump lips and then without warning pricks you, immediately licking away the blood that oozes out ‘fuck, you’re delicious’ he mutters against your lips. he glances back to see seungcheol has taken a silent step forward and rolls his eyes.
‘well’ he says, pushing you down to your knees ‘i hope for your sake you fuck as good as you taste’ he unzips his pants, pulling out his cock and stroking himself as you see him lick his lips again desperate for another taste of your sweet blood.
‘go on, what are you waiting for? open your fucking mouth’
god, you’re in for a really hard night.

a/n. first of all i’d like to thank zanna ( @slytherinshua ) , ola ( @l3visbby ) and kermit (@humongousbiscuitvoidtree ) for helping me out with certain aspects of this work!! tbh without you i wouldn’t write it <\3 so thank you sm, love you and check their blogs if you haven’t already >:T
second of all, i don’t want to spoil everything but as you can see from the au its a vampire thingy teehee but! i based the creations of vampires on the witcher (mostly the books/part 3 of the game (esp blood and wine))! i’m such a sucker for the witcher (without the tv series lol) so you know i had to teehee!! it’s pretty much briefly explained later in the work but if someone is interested i definitely recommend diving into the witcher or even checking it out on wiki!
word count. 4.7k 😟 the longest work of mine on tumblr 😟😟😟
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
wonwoo loves you. he’s sure that he never loved anyone like this before. if it was possible, he’d spend his entire life; infinity with you. if only.
you feel the same way, obviously. you can always feel the presence of his love, even if he himself may not be around. you love him so much that you sometimes feel as if your heart was about to jump out of your chest. he must feel it too because his pupils grow wider a bit (and he thinks you don’t see it). even his friends, including mingyu who knew him for like forever, told you he’s head over heels for you which made you melt on the spot.
you’ve been together for 6 years now and life with him is anything and more than you could have ever wanted. wonwoo is patient, funny and above all, caring. sometimes it makes you wonder what you did in your past life to deserve this; him.
“i’m home!” you call out, putting the groceries on the countertop. there was not only his shoes next to the doorstep but also someone else’s… if you were to take a guess, you’d bet it was mingyu.
you let out a deep sigh, reaching for a iced tea you bought for yourself.
your classes today were… harsh, to say at least. all you needed today was wonwoo’s arms around you. and a good nap.
overall your days were horrible lately. the ridiculous amount of uni work, your part time job and social life in general. there’s a new guy at your job and you can’t figure out what’s his problem with you. he’s always staring, throwing mean comments at you… the other day he almost got you fired.
you still haven’t talked about this with wonwoo. and you didn’t really want to because lately he seemed busy with something else. but if his - junwoo’s - behaviour is going to go on, you’ll reach out.
you closed your eyes, trying to forget it. you’re home now, it’s all good. just take a shower and go to bed.
you finished your ice tea and grabbed two that were left in your shopping bag. you passed by wonwoo’s office and knocked at the door gently. and before you could even move your hand away, your boyfriend called you in.
as you opened the door, as predicted, saw mingyu. he smiled at you. they were sitting at the desk, looking over at some papers.
“hi guys. hi baby” you hummed, trying to keep a positive tone. you walked up to wonwoo, placing a soft kiss on his forehead.
you put down the two bottles and smiled at them.
“i’ll go to sleep, i’m exhausted” you announced quietly and wonwoo nodded, sending you a warm smile.
“of course… i didn’t even realise it got so late. good night, dear” he hummed. you walked away, sending them a small wave and closed the door behind you. with a deep sigh you started mentally questioning if you have enough strength to do your skin care.
nowadays there is something important going on since wonwoo isn’t home a lot. he’s asleep when you wake up in the morning to attend your classes, sometimes you manage to share a quick cup of coffee. and when you’re back home from work late evening, he’s absent. you always text him once you’re home and when you check the other day, the read hour says something around 1am. it’s exhausting, it really is.
“nonu…” you mumbled quietly, entering your living room at some lazy sunday. weekends were the only days you could catch up, even a bit. he turned his head immediately, eyes landing on you.
“is something wrong?” he asked, concern in his voice.
“well… no. actually, yeah” you huffed and sat down next to him on the couch. he closed his book and a playful smile spread on your lips when you see it’s twilight, again.
“what’s wrong, darling?” wonwoo asked, shifting his full attention to you. he can sense you’re nervous so he grabs your hand. it feels like eternity since he did that, let alone kiss you properly or–
“i miss you” you pouted, avoiding eye contact.
“but i’m here” wonwoo teases you but let’s go when you don’t even snicker “‘m sorry. i know, work has been stressful lately. seungcheol got into some trouble and you know how it is…”
“i really don’t. we don’t even talk that much anymore. i know that it’s your work but it’s just….” you babbled, finally gaining courage to look up at him. your heart clenched at the sight of his sad frown “but i know how you can make it up for me…”
“oh?” the corner of wonwoo’s mouth shifts up, his smirk making you dizzy. asshole. with a tilt of his head, his gaze pierces you but at the same time, it’s soft. and loving. “tell me then”
“well, first of all a kiss. seco–“ you were interrupted by his plush lips on yours. as you melted into the kiss, wonwoo effortlessly grabbed your hips and put you on his lap. with a small bite of your bottom lip, he made you gasp. you felt him smile playfully into the kiss before he continued to knock the air out of your lungs. your hands travelled to the nape of his neck, playing with his hair.
when you finally pulled away, cheeks glowing red, wonwoo put a stray strand of your hair back behind your ear.
“done. and the second part?” he breathed out, admiring your flustered face.
“a date” you giggled, hands shifting to cup his face.
“a date?” he repeated, a small crease forming between his brows.
“we can even go and dig garbage out, i don’t care. just take me on a date, mr jeon” you squished his cheeks, causing him to playfully roll his eyes.
“okay, ms l/n, next friday then. we’re going to dig through garbage” wonwoo sent you a boyish smile and you smacked his arm. finally, your place was filled with your laughters again.
you were waiting impatiently, the minutes on the clock passing painfully slow. wonwoo was supposed to pick you up at 6pm and then you were supposed to go… somewhere. he said it’s a surprise, so you weren’t fully sure what was is.
you decided to wear a cute dress and a cardigan that he gifted you on your birthday. it was your favourite piece of clothing and it went perfectly with the dress.
you played a goofy game that was on your phone, trying to kill some time.
you figured it will be the perfect opportunity to tell wonwoo about junwoo, your co-worker. days passed and his behaviour got even worse. you were uncomfortable around him, your job draining you mentally. and you hated that because to be frank, you loved your job. you loved making baked goods, displaying them and serving customers. and now your, somehow, safe place is making you sick even when you’re just thinking about it.
suddenly your phone dinged.
nonu<3: darling i’m so sorry
nonu<3: i won’t be able to make it
nonu<3: let’s postpone it to next friday, okay?
nonu<3: seungcheol said he’ll pay
your heart dropped. putting down your phone gently you felt tears gathering at your water line.
nonu<3: love you
“love you too” you mumbled and went straight to bed, not bothering to take your makeup off.
when wonwoo came back around 3am, he wasn’t surprised to see you’re fast asleep. there was a little hope in him that you’d wait; that’d you won’t be mad. but who was he gonna fool? when he noticed you fell asleep without changing into your pyjamas, wiping off your makeup and clutching his pillow tight to your chest his heart stung painfully. then he went to grab makeup wipes to remove your mascara stains.
you haven’t talked to wonwoo since then. a week passed by, making you wonder if he’s truly going to take you on a date.
you were just ending your shift, unfortunately with junwoo. you were wiping the tables while he was counting up today’s profit.
“so, that boyfriend of yours…”
the question felt like a bomb, echoing in the empty room. you looked up at junwoo annoyed, his gaze piercing your soul.
“he’s very lovely” you scoffed, looking outside the window. it was already dark outside, not to mention that you still have to go through the park to arrive at your bus stop. normally wonwoo would pick you up…
“is he?”
you ignored the question, moving to the last table. last table and you’re gone. you just need to grab your bag. to do that you have to… shit. you have to pass him by. maybe you don’t need your stuff? you could leave it and– what are you thinking, your id and everything is in it.
“wonwoo is hiding something from you, isn’t he?” junwoo’s voice send shivers down your spine and when you gulped, you could hear his scoff. wait.
“how do you know his name?” you asked, hands trembling.
“i’m friend of a friend you see. but wonwoo once betrayed me…”
your grip on the cloth you were holding tightened, heart speeding up. why this feels like a scene from a crime show…?
“would you like to know something about your lovely boyfriend?” junwoo asked, done with his task.
“uh sure, hit me. we don’t have secrets though!” you laughed nervously and looked at the table. squeaky clean.
you heard footsteps.
looking up you noticed junwoo holding your bag with a playful smile.
“he’s a vampire”
you looked at him in disbelief. then you let out a laugh, shaking your head.
“that’s funny. you’re a funny guy junwoo, wow! a vampire, huh? good one, really–“ your voice died out in your throat when he stepped closer, his hand reaching out.
you snatched your bag from it, dropping the cloth on the floor.
“he’s a vampire. like me” junwoo hummed. normally you’d throw a joke about edward cullen but your coworker canines suddenly made sense.
“oh. cool. i’ll get going though, bye!” you yelled out panicked and rushed to the door. with a slam you ran out of the café, the fresh evening air making you realise how much you were suffering there.
you’re safe. just straight to the park and then bus stop and then home and then… your - apparently vampire - boyfriend.
you took out your phone with shaky and sweaty hands, the speed of your walk faster than ever before in your life.
you started bombarding him with texts - not even caring about the typos - and called him a couple of times but he wasn’t responding.
just when you were about to call him again, you felt… strange. mentally cursing at the city council for not putting lamps in the park you started running. your gut told you to. your gut also told you not to look around.
but you did.
you let out a shocked scream when you saw junwoo. in a blink of an eye he was suddenly one step behind you, grabbing you by your baby pink cardigan. the one wonwoo gifted you.
“leave me alone!” you screamed but the force of the pull was so powerful that you tripped back. luckily, you landed on your back first.
your phone fell out from your hand. you wanted to grab it, but junwoo stepped on your hand. you whined in pain, crunching up.
“see, i’m having a struggle right now. should i already kill you or wait for wonwoo to arrive. because… you think he’s coming, right?” junwoo’s voice echoed in your head.
to be honest, you weren’t sure.
your heart was beating at an inhuman speed right now, trying to figure out what to do.
“but we can have a small compromise” junwoo took off his foot from your hand, causing you to instinctively bring it closer. the tears in your eyes blurred your vision but you managed to suddenly roll over away. “i’ll scratch you up just a tiny bit. if he makes it in time, he might be able to save you”
“fuck off” you grunted and tried to stand up. as you wanted to run away, he kicked the back of your knees. you were helpless to prevent from falling, only to put the weight on your hands. if that hurt, you weren’t ready for the upcoming pain in your thigh, just in your femoral artery.
wonwoo came back home and from the moment he opened the door, he knew something was off.
your shoes weren’t messily thrown on the ground. you didn’t bring leftovers from the café. the apartment was quiet and dark. no smell of baked goods and your perfume, no sound of your calm breathing. or of your heartbeat. you weren’t home.
while nervously scratching his neck wonwoo tried to recall if he forgot about something. maybe you went out with your friends? but no, you’d leave a message… right? maybe you decided to leave him? or… oh. the date.
he pulled out his phone but didn’t see any notifications from you.
his - usually slow - heartbeat sped up, breath stuck in his throat. did you really leave him? he knew it was bad, he felt like he was neglecting you; duh, he knew it. he felt so helpless because seungcheol just needed help with that one guy who appeared in town lately but…
he couldn’t believe you didn’t even text him.
that’s when he noticed something on his phone.
a small moon icon next to the hour.
he frowned, swiping down. do not disturb. oh. how did he even put do not disturb on? after a five hundred years he’s still getting used to all of that technology but– whatever.
his eyes widened upon seeing like a thousand notifications from you and almost the same amount of missed calls.
the sun to my moon, my beloved y/n: wonwoo jelp
the sun to my moon, my beloved y/n: theres a guy ar mw work he creeped me our roday

the sun to my moon, my beloved y/n: do i turn aeousn????
the sun to my moon, my beloved y/n: wonwoo please answer im so sxared
wonwoo slammed the door, almost tripping down the stairs. a guy at your work? why haven’t you told him? okay, you’ll talk later. right now he has to get to the park. you’re fine. you’re gonna be safe, he’ll get there quickly. even if you managed to get on the bus–
he entered his car, calling you. you’ll surely pick up, right? you’ll pick up and tell him you’re fine, you’re on the bus now, you’re safe.
suddenly his car door opened and someone sat at the passenger’s seat. wonwoo turned his head and looked at mingyu flabbergasted.
“what are you–” wonwoo breathed out, his hands shaking. you aren’t picking up.
“what’s the name of the café y/n works at?” mingyu asked. wonwoo threw away his phone, starting the car.
“moon made… something like that. why? i literally do not care right now, she’s–“
“junwoo works there”
wonwoo choked on air, taking a sharp turn. mingyu, who haven’t put his seatbelt on, slammed onto the door.
“fuck”
his friend quickly fastened his seatbelts and gulped upon seeing seeing how the numbers on the counter rose threateningly.
“y/n is in danger, she messaged me… and– what if– do you think he…?” wonwoo breathed out. mingyu, his friend of almost four hundred years, have never seen him so emotional. even when in 1722 wonwoo was about to literally die - because of a fight he got with a higher vampire, seungcheol - he was stoic. calm. normal.
“i don’t know. seungcheol is on his way, he told me he’ll rip his head apart if he hurts you or y/n but…” mingyu sighed, grabbing wonwoo’s phone. he put the password (the date of the day when you two started dating) and looked at the texts. it doesn’t look good.
“it doesn’t… look good, does it? fuck i’m so pissed at myself. somehow i put the do not disturb thing on and i missed all the notifications” wonwoo grunted and looked around “we’re nearby. please hold on…”
“wonwoo…” mingyu started slowly “i know you’re emotional right now but please… please don’t do anything stupid. you’re both higher vampires, this can end tragically”
“i don’t care. as long as y/n is safe and fucking alive. you know what that psychopath did in 1800!” wonwoo hissed, taking another sharp turn.
“i know! that’s the reason why we took seungcheol’s side!” just as he said that, mingyu was prepared for the turn and held onto his dear life to the door grip. wonwoo pulled over and left the car, slamming the door.
it didn’t take long before they located you. wonwoo’s heart clenched painfully upon hearing your cries and hard pants without seeing you.
“i smell blood” he grumbled, looking at mingyu. the thing was that mingyu stopped drinking blood like hundred years ago, he was fine. wonwoo, on the other hand, restricted his drinking but fully stopped when he met you. comparing 6 years to almost 500…
the smell was getting stronger and your heartbeat slower. then he saw you. on the ground, sobbing harshly. a growing puddle of crimson liquid was pooling under your right leg.
“y/n look, your boyfriend!” junwoo’s voice made him sick, not to mention that he nudged your leg with his. like you were nothing.
“nonu?” you whispered, fighting to keep your eyes open. it was barely a whisper to be honest but due to his hearing he was able to catch it.
he started walking towards you but junwoo clicked his tongue.
“stay there, traitor” he growled, putting his hands in the pockets of his pants “move an inch and she’ll be a lifeless body. same goes to you, mingyu”
“what do you want?” wonwoo asked, afraid that if he’s gonna look away for a second, you’ll…
“honestly? seungcheol. but i figured i’d be more fun to watch him suffer… and that human girlfriend of yours seems to matter a lot for you. and you mean a lot to him. well, her too. simple as that. the things in the way aren’t a big deal either. if i have to kill her or you to get to him… it’ll be at least endearing” he explained.
“listen i know i… betrayed you. but you killed innocent people, junwoo. just as you’re about to do with my girlfriend. leave her out of this and no one will get hurt” wonwoo talked slowly, your breathing getting slower.
“you didn’t hear a thing i just said, huh? i don’t care. or maybe i’ll give her to the werewolves? they’re not friends of mine but i’m sure they’ll like her” junwoo said and kneeled. he cupped your face, fingers digging into your jaw with force.
you felt like life was escaping from you, like air from a popped balloon. with the rest of the strength you had, you gathered your saliva and spat at him.
both mingyu and wonwoo were speechless.
junwoo slowly wiped his face and your boyfriend realised something. if junwoo wanted to bare his claws - and he just might to that - they’d go straight through your skin.
but something or rather, someone stops him from doing that. or doing anything in general.
seungcheol’s silhouette would go unnoticed by humans or even some lower vampires.
he yanks junwoo backwards by his shirt.
“if you wanted to talk to me, you’re more than welcome. but leave the fuck wonwoo and y/n alone” he hissed, immediately attacking him “and i made a promise to myself that if you hurt them, you’ll–“
“be dead, i assume. you’re worse than the werewolves” junwoo hissed.
wonwoo rushed to you, not caring about them. seungcheol will manage. he’s a higher vampire, probably older than all of you gathered here. he’s strong.
and you’re not.
he’s falling onto his knees, taking you in his arms immediately. wonwoo scans your face quickly, nothing than the marks from the grip, and moves to check the rest of your body.
then, he sees the wound. a deep cut on your thigh, precisely aimed at your main artery. other than that your hand was probably twisted. but the literal bleeding made him panic. because who knows how many time you have left considering the fact that junwoo cut open one of the critical parts of the blood system.
“wonwoo?” you mutter, fighting to keep your eyes open.
“it’s me, darling. it’s me, please– forgive me. i’m so sorry i should’ve-“ he started mumbling apologies like a broken record, tears gathering at his waterline.
“it’s fine, you’re here now” you mumbled, grabbing his hand with both of yours “i love you so much…”
“hey, hey. i know. i know, y/n, i love you to. but you’ll be fine. i promise” he breathed out, pressing his forehead against yours. his mind was racing with thoughts. he won’t manage to get you to the hospital. it’s way too far. he could stop the bleeding but assuming from the amount of blood you already lost— would it help? he feels helpless while you’re dying in his hands. it’s just a matter of seconds.
“nonu… you’re a vampire?” you gasp suddenly, one of your hands going to clutch his shirt. he nodded, still deep in his thought “then you can– turn me…?”
“bite her, wonwoo” mingyu suddenly appeared behind his back
“but i never– not on purpose–“ wonwoo grunted and stiffened once he saw your eyelids dropping “i don’t–“
“do it” a barely audible plea left your mouth, your hands slipping from his chest; your face scrunched up in pain. everything was going dark, your eyelids more and more heavy.
“it might hurt…” wonwoo warned before baring his fangs; he dived into the left side of your neck, a sharp sting bringing you back to reality for a brief moment. you sobbed harshly before a sudden blackout hit you.
your blood was sweet; the sweetest he has ever tried. wonwoo felt you losing consciousness, your body in his arms like a puppet. your heartbeat halted.
suddenly seungcheol came back, blood splattered on his face.
“that asshole is dead. what’s with y/n…?” he asked quietly. wonwoo pulled away, taking a deep breath. a trickle of crimson blood went down your neck. wonwoo looked at his friends; the tears in his eyes making seungcheol… sad.
“she’ll be fine” seungcheol mumbled. wonwoo grabbed your stiff body in a bridal style; he felt the warmth escaping from you “i can feel it”
“take her home” mingyu hummed, noticing the way wonwoo looked at you “let us know once she wakes up. because she will”
he nodded, for the first time in a long time not sure about the rightness of his decision.
you opened your eyes slowly, your body overtaken by pain. you felt weird; somehow cold.
the first thing you saw was wonwoo on the edge of the bed. his head was leaning downwards, eyes closed. he must have been thinking about something because his brows were furrowed, a deep crease between them. he looked like he haven’t slept for days.
you shifted carefully, noticing the bandage on your hand. the memories suddenly flooded you back; causing you to wince.
wonwoo suddenly felt your arms around his waist, his body jerking in surprise.
“y/n?” he asked, voice cracking.
“tell me it was a bad dream, please. or that you’re real” you whispered, shaking.
wonwoo hugged you back, placing a hand at the back of your head.
“i’m here, i’m real. it’s all good now i promise” he mumbled into your hair, afraid to let you go.
you sobbed into his chest, his embrace feeling like a dream after all of the events.
when you pulled away, he looked at you with so much care in his eyes in almost hurt. you tried to gather your thoughts, trying to think of the best way how to ask him about everything. as you did so, your hand traveled to your neck and you were surprised to feel a bandage there. right.
“i’m sorry if that hurt” he mumbled shyly
“it’s fine. but… what… what am i now? can you tell me everything…?” you asked quietly, your hand finding his. wonwoo intertwined your fingers, taking a deep sigh.
“i don’t know how much he told you but… i’m a vampire. and by biting you i turned you into one as well. you died but the venom from my fangs caused you to kind of… come back” he explained slowly “mingyu is a vampire too. well, all of my friends are”
“that would explain why you know each other so well” you chuckled, instantly regretting that. a wave of pain came through your body, causing you to wince. wonwoo’s eyes widened, sudden realisation hitting him.
“do you need anything? medicine? i can bring some pain killers” he said, pulling the duvet up. your thigh was professionally bandaged.
“it’s alright but… you could give me a kiss” you pouted.
“god, you don’t even know how scared was i…” he whispered before gently cupping your face and planting a tender kiss on your lips.
you wanted more, of course you did, but he leaned away. he wanted to look at you like this forever, without thinking about the possibility of losing you again.
“do you… want to talk? about what happened before?” your boyfriend asked. you sighed, nodding. even though you were glad you’re alive - and able to kiss him again - you had so many questions.
“just… explain everything to me. i’ll listen” you hummed, patting the spot next to you.
and he did. he explained to you that seungcheol is the oldest and that he was born as a vampire, that making him a higher vampire. due to that he can kill other vampires - because the regular ones like you aren’t able. you might hurt another vampires but won’t kill them if you’re not a higher one. wonwoo explained that junwoo and him were friends but his slaughtering of innocent people made wonwoo leave him and tell his location to seungcheol. they had some private fights going on hence the will of revenge. that’s what he was so busy with lately – seungcheol found out junwoo is in the city and wanted to find him. he explained that you’re not going to be a vampire that’s described in books. you won’t have shiny skin, you won’t have allergic reaction to garlic or sunlight, you’ll be able to see your reflection in a mirror. you’ll just feel cold at times and after some time and training you’ll get some supernatural traits.
“did you plan on telling me? that you’re a vampire?” you asked, gently grabbing his arms and pushing yourself onto his lap
“i… i did. maybe on our anniversary. i was scared but i promised myself i’d do it. i… i wanted to ask you if you want to be turned into one to” wonwoo smiled softly, looking at you “because the thought of you dying and me living without you… it made my heart shatter into pieces everytime i thought about this”
your heart swelled. it must’ve been so hard for him. this made you think if he was in a situation like that because but–
“and i messed up. i know work is work but i neglected you. it won’t happen again, i promise. and also… you need to show me how not to accidentally put do not disturb on” he huffed and then threateningly put his finger up, his ebony irises sending you a serious look “and next time tell me right away when there’s a creep at your work”
“do not disturb…?” you scoffed, putting his hand down.
the sun peeked through the window, framing his face in golden light.
“well then, mr jeon” you hummed, placing your hands on his arms for support “can i get a kiss? and can you make it last forever?”
you didn’t have to tell him twice; he finally had an infinity to spend with you. when wonwoo pulled you closer, his teeth grazing against your lips you realised that it all would explain his thing for biting.

P A R T  O N E
The night before you’re set to meet your newest client for the next few weeks, you have a strange dream.
One where a faceless man has you trapped in his embrace, murmuring both sweet and filthy things into your ear until you wake up in a cold sweat—reining in as much self-control as you can muster just so you can ignore the heat that settles unexpectedly between your thighs.
It’s all forgotten in the morning, when you’re running late to a meeting with an espresso in hand—phone wedged between your ear and your shoulder as you fumble for your company ID in your bag. Your boss is giving you an earful for oversleeping on such an important day, but you can’t exactly tell him the reason why you couldn’t have a good night’s sleep the evening prior.
So, you take the sermon with little rebuttals, promising that you’ll be up in the conference hall in five minutes.
At least, that was the plan until you bumped into someone in front of the entrance to your office building, spilling your piping hot drink all over his crisp white dress shirt. You scowl, shoving your phone into the pocket of your blazer before snatching a pack of tissues from your bag—apologizing profusely as you attempt to salvage his unsalvageable top. Holy shit. Isn’t this a Balenciaga limited edition—
“You don’t have to. It’s fine.”
The smooth voice that rolls in your ears, of course, belongs to the man you just inconvenienced. You meet his gaze with an embarrassed yet apologetic look, shaking your head. “No, I wasn’t looking where I was going, and…”
Despite the solid argument you’ve prepared, the words seem to dissolve on your tongue when your eyes settle on his ridiculously perfect face. The man’s hair is dyed a muted blond, like sunlight peeking through the blinds on the first day of winter. The sharp bridge of his nose complements the gentle smile that stretches across his pink, plump lips, and it takes you a second to realize that his complexion is so pale, it’s hard to believe he’s human.
But even if you’re momentarily distracted by his otherworldly features, the only coherent thought that crosses your mind in that moment is…
Have I seen this guy before?
“Jun, we’re already late.”
The person who snaps you out of your involuntary trance is yet another good-looking gentleman—just as equally dressed to kill as the man you spilled half your morning coffee fix on. His stern eyes hover over to the man (Jun?) and then to you, and for a moment, you could’ve sworn his eyes widened a fraction at the sight of you. The expression lasts no longer than a second, though, and you simply tell yourself that it was merely a trick of the light.
“Not much we can do about that if I need to go change clothes again, Hao,” Jun chuckles, and the mere second your brain starts to process their names, you’re floored back to reality.
Jun and Hao… Junhui and Minghao?
Aren’t these two the new clients you’re supposed to meet today?!
You get your answer when you finally arrive in the conference hall with your clients in tow, thirty minutes after you concluded that rushed phone call with your boss. Needless to say, he does not look pleased with the fact that you were the reason for all the hold-ups for today’s meeting, despite Jun’s constant reassurances that he holds no grudges.
“Besides, she’s one of the best you have, right?” he chimes, flashing you a smile from across the boardroom table. “Our manager wouldn’t have sought her out if that wasn’t the case. I’m sure she’ll take care of us just fine during the entire shoot.”
You find it a bit heartwarming, how quick he is to come to your defense, despite being on the receiving end of the coffee incident. He speaks each word with such sincerity and eloquence that you can practically hear your boss’ ice cold disposition melt in surrender.
“Fine. It’s not like we have the time to look for another stylist for you anyways,” he sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Minghao, do you have any reservations you would like to air out? We’d gladly compensate however we can.”
Your eyes then rivet to Minghao, who seems to be the polar opposite of Jun—eyes narrowed with equal parts suspicion and apprehension, as if you’ll slit his throat as he sleeps.
“No,” he mumbles. “As long as she does her job, I don’t have anything to complain about.”
Well, that settles it.
Thankfully, your boss is quick to adjourn today’s agenda—something about having to meet with other clients from a different agency before noon. Since your first fitting session with Jun and Minghao isn’t scheduled until tomorrow, you’re practically free to go home early.
The news made you feel a bit giddy, since you’ve been craving tteokbokki for a good few weeks now. But since your budget was a bit tight lately, you couldn’t afford to visit your favorite restaurant during your off-hours, and their tteokbokki discounts only became available after your designated lunch breaks, and before you get to time out.
This is practically the universe telling you to indulge yourself for once.
However, just as you’re making sure that all your things are inside your bag, you feel a gentle tap on your shoulder.
“Hello,” Jun greets with a kind smile that startles you more than it should.
“H-Hey, what’s up?” you stammer in a very uncool manner. Way to go, self. “Do you need anything?”
He lets out a soft laugh that does things to your poor, little heart. One of the perils of being a widely renowned stylist is that you have to work with all these beautiful people. How are you not supposed to fall in love with them, even just a little?
“I was supposed to ask Minghao to grab some tteokbokki before we head to Myeongdong for our next schedule, but he said he wants to nap back at the dorms first.” Oh, the absolutely dejected look on Jun’s face just makes your heart melt.
“So…do you want to eat with me? We can get to know each other better before tomorrow’s shoot while we’re at it, too.”
You say yes. Of course you say yes.
Besides, dining with your clients isn’t completely unusual for you. In fact, most of them preferred meeting you over lunch or dinner to discuss styling plans instead of through formal meetings like you did with Jun and Minghao. Your last client, a model named Yeri, even confided some of her boy problems with you despite having only met her the same day.
Needless to say, it gives you the idea that eating with your clients definitely bolsters your work relationship in inexplicable ways. You just hope it’s the same way with Jun.
You half-expect it to be a bit awkward once the two of you arrive at the restaurant. But Jun makes it a point that you shouldn’t feel that way around him. He carries the conversation as you both wait for your beloved tteokbokki, asking you questions about yourself that you never imagined a client would even be interested in knowing.
In return, he answers all of your little inquiries about him with the same, breezy grin he kept flashing you all morning—making you wonder if it’s a breach in contract to be completely helpless against your client’s award-winning smiles. Well, you’re safe as long as you don’t do anything about it, right?
You learn that he and Minghao are from a thirteen-member boy group that debuted nearly eight years ago, making you gasp in surprise. Maybe that’s why you thought he looked familiar. You’ve worked with a handful of idols before, but you don’t exactly pay that much attention to the music industry to recognize each and every singer in existence.
“It’s alright, we get that a lot,” he laughs again, and you start to wonder how long you can hold up against his unintentional charms.
When you’re finally stuffed, you notice there’s a lone, silver ring glinting on one of his slender fingers. Jun catches you staring, and indulges you with an explanation right away.
“It’s a good luck charm of sorts,” he explains, twisting it with a thoughtful look. For once, the dazzling smile on his face recedes into a much more reserved look—eyes gazing at the piece of jewelry like there’s a distasteful memory behind it. “I never really take it off.”
“Even when you shower?” you ask jokingly.
His smile finds its way back across his lips, and the sight makes your shoulders ease up a little.
“Even when I shower,” he repeats with the same degree of humor.
Your contract with Jun and Minghao spans across two weeks with the shoots occurring in several locations. Each one is dedicated to their own solo activities, but their manager thought it would be cost-efficient to just have them make the preparations for their next releases simultaneously.
Of course, this adds a lot of things to think about on your end. Handling one client was already a challenge on its own, but having to brainstorm and put together outfits and looks for two people?
God, they better be paying you real handsomely for this.
Your first agenda for the week is with Minghao, who’s scheduled to shoot a ‘boyfriend’ concept by the Han River at nighttime. You’re given the liberty to mix and match with the wardrobe provided by his company, and because of the nature of the shoot, you don’t have that much of a hard time styling the guy.
What’s more is that he carries both himself and the outfits you’ve picked out so well, that you’re all packing up before you know it.
Admittedly, you were a bit reluctant to work with Minghao—especially with how he reacted to you during your first meeting. But he’s probably the kind of person who gets over things once they’ve passed. He hasn’t made any standoffish comments about your work even at the end of the shoot.
It’s only when you finish talking to his manager that Minghao approaches you again, sporting that same wary look he had back in the conference hall.
“How long have you been a stylist?” he asks, still in the middle of putting back all his accessories.
Your brow arches. “A few years. Why?”
Your client simply nods, as if digesting your words. “I see.”
Awkward silence settles over the both of you in a way that has never happened with Jun, and you suddenly find yourself missing his contagious smile. You’re sure that things will be considerably less stifling if he was around.
However, once Minghao finishes fastening his chokers behind his neck, your eyes rivet on the ring on his finger—one that looks exactly like Jun’s.
Before you can ask about it, his manager is already calling him over to their van, urging Minghao to cut your conversation short with a curt nod before hurrying over to where he’s needed, and leaving you with more questions than you had to begin with.
On the morning of Jun’s schedule, his manager tells you in advance that he’ll be running a little late to the venue because he’s in the hospital.
That’s the kind of news that you don’t really expect to receive while you’re having breakfast in your favorite café—sun shining, birds chirping and all. So the moment said manager ends the call (sounding way too chill for someone who just told you one of their talents is in the goddamn hospital), you immediately pull up your messaging application to shoot Jun a rightfully concerned text.
(Thank God you exchanged numbers right after that quick tteokbokki run.)
Me [09:35 AM]: your manager told me what’s up. are you okay??
The moment you hit send, you immediately turn the screen away from you on the table, incredibly nervous about whatever response you might get. Hell, you might even be more worried if he doesn’t reply because that would mean—
Your phone chimes with a notification not thirty seconds later, and you haven’t unlocked it faster in your life.
Jun [09:35 AM]: Yes, I’m alright. Why?
Me [09:37 AM]: well it’s kind of worrisome to hear that your client is in the hospital first thing in the morning, you know.
Jun [09:37 AM]: Oh. Good point.
Jun [09:38 AM]: Don’t worry. I’m just running some errands. I’ll be at the venue before you know it :)
That doesn’t really address your curiosity as to what he’s even doing there in the first place, but knowing that he’s alright and very much alive is enough for you. After locking your phone and tossing it back into your bag, you slump into your seat with a sigh in relief.
Still, what kind of errands do you even run in a hospital?
To your chagrin, you never really get the answer to that. Once you all arrive at the production studio where Jun is set to shoot a music video later in the week, his managers don’t seem like they’re about to fuss about that impromptu hospital trip. They simply go over the day’s schedule with the entire team before letting everybody disperse to do their individual tasks.
Yours is simply to sit back and watch as Jun rehearses his song’s routines alongside the back-up dancers. It’s in your job description to involve yourself in the production process for these kinds of things, since you have to coordinate both their costumes and makeup with the set and the song itself.
While you’ve done a bit of research about the group that Jun and Minghao both belong to, this solo song in particular gives off a vibe that’s completely different from their usual performances. It’s darker; more sensual, more enticing.
As you drink in the sight of how Jun moves his body to the voluptuous rhythm, you’re already putting together the perfect look in your head. Flowing white attire on a black backdrop, and sleek black on a white set. But that’s as far as your train of thought goes because you’re completely entranced with the way he dances.
How this man has this much of an effect on you is quite a mystery. You’ve had small crushes on extremely good-looking clients before, but…
“You’ve been spacing out for a while there.”
It’s a little embarrassing that you were so out of it that you failed to notice that the current rehearsal team has taken a quick water break. Jun is now standing in front of you, still looking as ethereal as he always does despite having gone through rigorous choreography.
“I’ve been dressing you up like a Ken doll in my head, sorry,” you offer humorously, thanking him when he hands you one of the biscuits he nabbed from the snack bar. It’s one of your favorites, too. “I’ll head back to the office after this and see if we’ve got stuff that would suit you and the dancers. If not, maybe your management has a few costumes stored in a stockroom?”
Jun’s lips twitch into a smile before nodding. “Sure. I’ll pass the word onto our manager.”
Later in the day, you do manage to find the perfect outfits for his music video. It’s a good thing that each article of clothing comes in a variety of sizes, so you’ll just have to call in Jun for another fitting session tomorrow. You also remember that Minghao was invited to a high-end fashion show happening next week. Maybe you could save their time by scheduling them together.
So, like the busy woman you are, you end the day by sending a couple of texts to your clients, informing them of your proposed plans for tomorrow. Jun responds about five minutes later—saying he’d be glad to drop by in the morning—while it’s complete radio silence on Minghao’s end. You sigh.
Well, that’s one less thing to worry about. For now, at least.
You’re dreaming again—about that faceless man with a voice as sweet as honey.
He brings you to a field of roses this time, guiding you by the hand as the evening breeze flutters by. You don’t know why he brought you here, but you completely put your faith in him as he presses forward anyways.
In the middle of the field is a clearing where he crouches to the ground—plucking one of the vibrant roses from the bushes before handing it to you.
My fingers will prick on the thorns.
You don’t hear the words, but you feel yourself saying them. And in spite of having little to no recognizable features, you think the man is smiling at you.
Then I’ll kiss away each drop of blood, my love. I promise.
When you wake up in the middle of the night, you stare hard at your hands—the skin still perfectly intact. Despite that, your fingers tingle with the memory of someone’s tongue sliding along each digit, as if to fulfill a promise that was lost in the haze of your dreams.
...
Jun [07:57 AM]: Sorry, I’m running a little late again. Be there in 20 at most :)
You stare at the text message that Jun sent to you fifteen minutes ago before flickering your gaze to the door of the fitting studio. It’s not that you’re in a hurry to get this over with or anything. You actually liked getting to dress people up like your own personal dolls.
But you woke up with the worst migraine known to man, and you honestly just want to crawl underneath your covers and take a long nap.
Jun arrives at the studio eighteen minutes after he texted you, and to your surprise, the man of the hour is carrying a bouquet of…
Roses?
“I’m sorry again,” he apologizes sheepishly before stepping into the studio and handing you the flowers with a kind smile. “I had to look all over town for a store that’s already open at this hour.”
Even if you’re completely clueless, you accept his gift with lips ajar. “Why…? What’s this for?”
Jun stares at you in disbelief. “It’s your birthday today, isn’t it?”
…What?
With just a tad bit of frantic urgency, you fish out your phone from your pocket to check, and—yup.
It really is your birthday.
The dumbfounded look on your face is apparently funny, and Jun practically doubles over laughing at your own obliviousness. You don’t blame him, though. You’ve been so busy for the past week, sorting out your plans for both his and Minghao’s schedules that it didn’t occur to you that your birthday was right around the corner.
But the pressing question at hand right now is…
“How’d you know?” you wonder, raising the bouquet closer to your face to get a whiff. “I don’t remember putting my birthday on my business card.”
You kind of anticipate him to say that your boss tattled about it to Jun’s manager, and by extension, his manager relaying the information to Jun himself. That’s the most plausible way he could’ve found out. But it seems that your client wants to keep things mysterious. Instead of answering you directly, all he says is:
“I have my ways.”
Once you’ve settled his thoughtful gift on an empty table, you proceed to help him put on some of the more complicated clothes you personally handpicked for him. The gothic white shirt with billowing sleeves dips below his neckline even better than you imagined, and you have to make him slip on a few belts so that the trousers can perfectly accommodate his narrow waist.
God, this guy is so perfect, it’s actually unreal.
“Looking good.” You whistle as Jun checks his reflection in the mirror. “Tell your makeup artist to keep it light for me? I think a pseudo-natural look would complete the charm of the entire fit.”
Jun chuckles softly, meeting your gaze through the mirror. “Don’t worry. I’m always in good hands, both with my makeup artists and stylists alike.”
You roll your eyes. “You could’ve just told me I have good taste, Jun. It’s sort of my job to make people look ungodly handsome.”
He doesn’t respond for a moment, but you don’t think much of his silence. Your words are meant to be taken as a harmless joke anyways. But all of a sudden, Jun turns on the heels of his borrowed dress shoes, striding over to where you’re standing before trapping you between his towering form and the solid wall behind you.
Then, with a voice much too sultry to hear at barely eight in the morning—
“So you think I’m ungodly handsome?”
The full fucking shiver that skids across your spine doesn’t escape his observant eyes. You don’t know why he’s doing this; why he has this sort of effect on you. But even if you have the choice to push him away, and call him out for asking something so weird…
“Yeah,” you whisper. “Why wouldn’t I?”
Little do you know, that was his last straw.
His mouth is on yours before you can even draw your next breath, his slender fingers finding your wrists as he pins them on the sides of your head. You go through several degrees of shame for caving into the kiss so quickly, but there’s something about Jun pressing his lips against yours that feels somewhat familiar.
If you didn’t know better, you’d think you’ve already done this before. Because how could you ever forget about kissing someone as perfect as Wen Junhui?
Gone is the man with a smile that can easily light up the entire room, and in his place is the very same creature featured in his newest song. Jun embodies the sensual atmosphere of his solo, encapsulating it with every sigh he breathes against your lips.
When he releases one of your hands in favor of digging his fingers into the swell of your hips, you thread your own digits through his smooth, blond hair—stifling your moans when he trails his lips across your jaw, and down your neck.
What you’re doing right now is definitely a breach in contract, but you don’t really see yourself giving a fuck about it any time soon. All that matters right now is the feel of Jun murmuring everything he’s been wanting to do to you since he first saw you against your skin—making you throb with heady anticipation.
It’s only when you hear three hard knocks on the door to the studio that your head finally rises above that haze of lust. Jun is still busy devouring your neck, a possessive arm circling your waist as he remains indifferent to the person just outside.
“J-Jun,” you whimper. “Stop. There’s someone—”
“I don’t care,” he hisses, and you nearly moan out loud when you feel how hard he is through the material of his trousers.
You want nothing more than for him to take you against the wall, to fuck into you with reckless abandon—all with the knowledge that you have an unwitting audience at the other side of the door. But you actually value having a source of livelihood, so with all the shreds of reason left in your body, you tell him, “Junhui, please.”
That seems to do the trick.
He stills for a moment, and a strange thing you realize is where you expect to feel his heart racing against his chest, there is none. But you don’t dwell on it much—not when the intruder is starting to get impatient, knocking twice as hard on the wooden surface.
Jun walks away, and the moment you’re liberated from his greedy embrace, you give yourself a quick look in the mirror—somewhat relieved that you simply look disheveled at most, and that he didn’t leave any visible marks.
Surprisingly, the person who rudely interrupted you is none other than—
“Hao?” Jun calls out the moment you open the door, face twisted with confusion. “You said you weren’t coming today.”
Minghao merely shrugs, eyes quietly darting between the two of you. “Change in plans. Turns out I had some free time today.”
“Seems like both of you have a lot of that, too.”
You try not to give him an outward reaction, but deep inside, you’re already panicking. He couldn’t have figured out what was up with a single glance, right? You and Jun aren’t acting too strange either. There’s no way he would…
“Whatever,” Jun scoffs, before he begins to undo the strings that held his shirt in place. “I still have a few outfits to try on. How about you get her to help you pick out what to wear for the fashion show already?”
Something about the indifference in his tone makes your chest sting with an unpleasant emotion. But you know that Jun is doing this for both of your sakes—even if his friend clearly doesn’t buy whatever bullshit he’s trying to feed him.
Fortunately, Minghao doesn’t make any further quips about what might’ve transpired in the studio while it was locked; doesn’t comment on the bouquet of roses sitting on the table even if it clearly startled him to see them there.
Despite not being as close to him as you are with Jun, you learn that Minghao is someone who sees all that’s wrong inside a room—only to keep his mouth shut about each and every one of them.
And you’re not very sure if that works in your favor.
...
The entire team ends up shooting the music video for two days at most, which is already quick for a production of that caliber. You chose not to drop by on the first day, though—still reeling from that heated encounter with Jun in the fitting studio. It doesn’t help that he hasn’t texted you since that day, too, so you’re not very sure about what to make of it.
After all, he’s an idol. It must be exhausting to put up fronts and maintain an image every second of every day. You wouldn’t put it past Jun to crave any semblance of relief, even if it comes in the form of making out with his own stylist. He’s still a man, in the end.
You originally planned to ditch the second day as well—to use your second sick leave despite being perfectly healthy. But when your boss calls you and practically orders you to get your ass on set, you’re left with no choice but to comply, and face Jun once and for all.
Awkward is an understatement for how you acted once you made it to the venue. Everyone is in high spirits with how successful the shoot was, and you feel sort of bad for being a wet towel amidst their lingering glee. You hear hushed whispers about how Jun was born to be a performer, and that he has a bright future ahead of him.
Even if you weren’t really there for the entire thing, you gladly echo the same thought.
You eventually find Jun with your boss in the dressing room, probably discussing future plans now that your contract with him has been more or less concluded. Two weeks is usually a long time when you’re working with clients, but with Jun, the time you shared passed by in a blink of an eye.
Probably because you spent a considerable chunk of it avoiding him, but that’s besides the point.
“If the music video hits a million views in a day, I’ll give you a raise,” your boss says once he notices you ambling at the sides. “The director gave us a peek of what’s to come, and you made Jun over here look like a god. Great job!”
Now, hearing him praise your work instead of harping on your clumsy mistakes in the corporate side of your job is a welcome change. You shake your head, reluctantly meeting Jun’s eyes, and God—
He still looks so unfairly beautiful.
“It’s all him, boss,” you chuckle. “All him.”
...
When Jun asks you to stay behind when you and your boss are about to leave for the office, it’s only natural for you to agree. It’s not like you’ve had any luck with resisting him for the past two weeks anyway.
He brings you to a nearby park—long deserted by the locals with how late it is into the night. When he notices you shivering from the cold, Jun is quick to strip himself of his jacket before handing it to you.
Another peculiar thing you noticed about him is how receptive he is. Whether it was during one of his shoots or on impromptu walks like this, it’s as if Jun already knows what you need, and will need. For some reason, when he jogs over to the vending machine to get drinks for the both of you, he doesn’t get you a can of soda.
He gives you a bottle ginseng tea instead.
You never once mentioned that specific preference of yours. Hell, you’ve only been acquainted with this man for a little over two weeks.
But…why does it feel like you’ve known him far longer than that?
“The stars are pretty tonight,” he says once the two of you settle on one of the empty benches, chin tilted up as he gazes up into the sky. “Seoul doesn’t have as much light pollution as people think it does.”
“Jun,” you breathe out, fingers clenching around your drink. “Please cut to the chase. What do you want to say to me?”
It would hurt less to rip the band-aid off right away instead of skirting around—you know that pretty well. If he’s going to tell you to forget about what happened back at the studio, you’ll gladly agree to it. If word gets around about that illicit tryst, it’ll be detrimental to both of your careers anyway, so—
“I like you.”
…What?
Jun then turns to glance at you like he’s harnessed all the stars in the sky and made a home for them in his eyes, continuing with an airy laugh. “I’ve liked you since the day you spilled coffee all over me, and I’m sorry if I made things awkward after last week, but…”
“Now that our contract’s over, will you give me a chance?”
...
Being in a secret relationship with an idol is probably the last thing on your annual bingo card. But, much like every other aspect of your life that involves a certain Wen Junhui, you’re incapable of resisting.
Especially when you learn firsthand just how good your boyfriend is in bed.
“J-Jun—”
“Shh,” he murmurs between your thighs, teasing you with featherlight caresses from his lips as he watches your pussy clench around nothing. “Such an impatient girl. I thought you told me you’d be good for me.”
“I am,” you whine, fingers tugging him by his long, pale tresses in a feeble attempt to get him to just devour you. “But you made me wait so long…”
Jun’s chest rumbles with a low laugh, pressing a soft kiss against your inner thigh. “Always so needy for me, aren’t you?”
“You know I— Oh!”
The thought is cut short when your boyfriend finally, finally puts his mouth on you—licking a long, perfect stripe across your glistening slit. Jun tugs your hips closer, hoisting your thighs across his broad shoulders as he gathers the slick leaking out of your hole.
The possessiveness in his grip has you bleating like a lamb, holding you in place as he fucks you with his tongue. When he repositions for a moment, you nearly cry out in desperation—wanting nothing but for him to keep pressing that sinful tongue into your pussy. But Jun rewards you with something better when you feel him slide two long fingers into your awaiting heat.
“Taste so good for me, my love,” he whispers, pumping each digit almost tantalizingly. “I want you to come on my face. Can you do that?”
You shake your head with a needy whimper. “W-Want to come on your cock.”
Jun lets out another teasing chuckle before curling his fingers until you see stars. “Oh? But you’re so close, sweetheart. Are you sure you can hold out until then?”
“I can, I can,” you practically sob. “I need you to fuck me, Jun.”
It’s been a while since he’s worked you open like this. With how tight his schedule is because of their group’s comeback, Jun hardly has the time to even see you at this point. That means he can’t blame you for being so adorably needy when the opportunity to get railed by your boyfriend arises.
Jun wastes no time shedding whatever clothing he has left—giving you ample time to appreciate his perfectly sculpted body. You know how much of a gym rat he is, but ever since you dressed him up in that latex crop top for his solo all those months ago, you could never quite get the image of his abs out of your head.
You let out a choked up moan when you feel him slide the head of his cock across your soaked folds, completely aware that he gets off on the mere sight of you looking so wrecked and ready for him. In your desperation, you even hook your legs around his hips—pressing him even closer.
“Need you inside me,” you babble, lacing your fingers around his neck to bring him down into a sloppy kiss. “I missed you so much.”
The lust-drunk look in his eyes seems to fade for a moment once you utter the words. Jun lifts his head just a tad to press his lips against your forehead.
“I missed you too, my love.”
You don’t think you’ll ever tire of how Jun fucks you open with his cock. He stretches your walls so, so well, that you don’t think you’ll ever have it this good with anyone else. You’re a crying mess when he begins to pick up the pace—pounding into you like he intends to prove how much he’s longed to be with you again.
Just like how he adores seeing you so needy for him, the sight of Jun losing himself to sensation of your cunt sends a rush straight through your skull. Not only are the two of you romantically compatible, but your bodies respond so well, you like to think that you were made for each other.
Jun isn't as much of a talker during actual sex as he is during foreplay—too focused on watching his cock get swallowed by your needy pussy with each powerful thrust. His eyes are transfixed to where he ends and you begin, and you nearly come at the sight of him so concentrated on that alone.
He’s addicted to you—just as much as you’re addicted to him.
“Where do you want it?” Jun whispers into your ear—voice hoarse with desire.
“Inside,” you whimper, feeling like your skin is about to catch fire with how close you are. “Make a mess of me, Jun. Need it.”
The growl that resonates in his throat is near animalistic as he fucks into you deeper, making you wail with pleasure as he hits the perfect spot over and over. It doesn’t matter if Jun doesn’t get to see you for a few weeks because of prior commitments from work. He can coax an orgasm out of you anytime, since he knows your pretty body like the back of his hand.
“Coming, coming—” You breathe in sharply, eyes rolling into the back of your head once you finally fall over the edge—brain short-circuiting with blistering release.
“Fuck,” Jun frames the word across your lips, chasing his own orgasm with a few stuttered thrusts. “Just like that, sweetheart. Milk it out of me.”
When he comes, it practically forces another climax to crest over you—fraying your nerves into near-nothingness. You relish in the feeling of Jun painting your insides with the white hot release, staking his claim like you’ve wanted him to since he last left your apartment.
In the afterglow, you dare to stare into his eyes, gazing at you so lovingly, it makes you wish he never had to leave.
You’re well aware that Jun still has an early schedule tomorrow. Despite that, he snuck out of the dorms and paid you a late night visit, so you don’t really expect him to stay a while, as much as you want him to.
But your boyfriend takes it upon himself to clean you up every time you have mind blowing sex—apologetically kissing every spot where he unknowingly left marks and bruises alike.
You’ve said this before and you’ll say it again, but Wen Junhui is so perfect, it’s actually unreal.
However, when it’s finally time for him to go—looking as painfully perfect as he always is—you’re reminded of something that’s bothered you since you first noticed it months ago.
“I’ll drop by and take you out on a date soon,” he murmurs against your hair as he pulls you into a tight hug. “That’s a promise.”
You chuckle as you return his eager embrace, resting your ear against his chest in attempts of hearing his heartbeat.
Only to be greeted by complete silence.
“Of course,” you whisper instead—not wanting to unearth something that you might not be able to see through until the end. “Just text me if you need anything.”
When Jun is at the door to your apartment, he gives you another kiss—one that has you chasing after his lips even when he pulls away. He laughs a little, tucking your hair behind your ear.
“I love you.”
“...I love you, too.”
Saying the words back is as easy as breathing, but you can’t help but think that—despite being the epitome of perfection—there’s something horribly wrong about Jun.
You just can’t figure out what.

Pairing: vampire Mingyu x fem!reader
Genre: smut , fantasy
Summary: your jealous vampire boyfriend tastes you for the first time.
Warnings: Blood, Sexual Content
[MINORS DONOT INTERACT]
Tumblr media
After being dropped off at the mansion, you reluctantly walk inside and instead of going to your room, you comfortably spread yourself on the couch near the fireplace.
You sigh in annoyance. "I was just having some fun" You think to yourself.
The sliding sound of the main door snaps you out of your thoughts. You don't bother to look around.
"I want you in the study. Right now." Mingyu says. His voice is calm but firm. He is back from the party and he is pissed.
Your heart skips a beat. You contemplate for a few moments then get up and start walking towards the study.
You knock on the door but there is no answer. You slowly roll the knob and open the door, sticking your head inside. You see Mingyu sitting on the desk chair with a glass of liquor in his hands but he isn’t looking at you. So you quietly enter the room and close the door behind you.
"What is it?" You ask.
Without giving an answer right away, Mingyu stands up and slowly paces towards you. He stands right in front of you, inches away and the tension in the room begins to rise.
"What do you think you were doing at the party?" He asks, looking you dead in your eyes. You look away.
"H-Having Fun"
Mingyu lets out a small, not-so-friendly chuckle. "..Fun huh..?" He says, his voice low and raspy.
He lifts your face with his hands on your chin and a chill runs down your spine as his cold fingers touch your skin. You make firm eye contact.
"How dare you disobey me?" Though nervous, you jerk his hand off.
"Why should I? You don't tell me what to do. You don’t own me or anything... " You say in one go, gasping for air, your face red, waiting for an answer.
An uncomfortable silence creeps into the room. Suddenly, Mingyu holds onto your wrist and pulls you towards him. You hit his chest with a thud, your entire body burning at that moment. You can feel the hardness of his abs rubbing against your breasts.
Mingyu leans down to your ears and whispers,
"Let me show who owns you then..." His deep voice sends shivers through every limb of your body.
He pours the entire glass of liquor on your tops and brings himself closer as his lips touch yours. You feel your knees weakening, as a warm and sweet feeling creeps over your body.
He grabs your waist with one hand and cups one of your breasts with the other. You gasp and Mingyu takes this as a chance and slides his tongue inside your lips. Your tongue starts to move with the tempo, the pace increasing rapidly.
Mingyu starts to press your breasts and rub his fingers against your hard nipples. He removes your tops. Every bit of your body is driving Mingyu crazy. He can hear your increased heart rate. This turns him on some more.
Mingyu removes everything from the table with a swish of his hand and puts you on the office desk. He removes your pants and you try to close your legs but he pulls them apart,
"...Uh-uh princess..."
You feel his fingers rub your clitoris through your panties and let out a small moan.
"...yes, moan for me baby..." he says.
His fingers pick up speed, rubbing your sensitive and now throbbing bud. Your legs jolt as you let out a loud moan. He removes his fingers and kisses your inner thighs.
He starts licking the slit of your entrance, his tongue moves around your clit circling it at a rapid pace. He inserts two fingers into you, thrusting it in and out more rapidly.
"...M-Mingyu..." You arch your back and try to clutch onto the desks with Mingyu's increasing thrusting.
"Let it out... "You hear Mingyu demanding.
You feel something build in your stomach and finally let everything out, you come.
Your vision becomes blurry, your entire body quivering in pleasure. Tired, you have had enough but Mingyu wants more.
He unzips his pants, leans down and unhooks your bra, placing gentle kisses on your chest up to your neck, he slowly whispers into your ears,
"Are you ready for me… " He pushes himself inside you. You feel a sharp pain down there and tears start rolling down your cheeks.
It is your first time, but the pain only grows as he goes in and out of you. Noticing your pain, Mingyu's hand reaches for yours and he holds it while the other caresses the back of your neck, pulling you in for a soft kiss.
"...It's okay... " He says in a soft voice. You feel the pain slowly ease away. "Yes...Please, more... " You gasp, Mingyu’s cheeks get heated.
He increases the pace, his thrusts get sloppier and the room is filled with your moans and the clapping sounds of both of your skin.
His torso leans close to yours, both of his hands finding yours again and clasping onto them. "Fuck" you hear him curse.
"Fill me..." Mingyu hears you whisper and so he does.
He falls onto you, kissing your neck, he thinks the time has finally come, he can do this now.
His gums slowly reveal his sharp fangs and he quickly pierces them into your delicate skin. You feel a sharp pain at first but gradually it eases away,
Mingyu's temptation to drain your body out of blood is growing. He looks you in the eyes and finally removes his fangs, "I love you…" He says.

now I can’t stop wondering how vampire svt would react when feeding on you while fucking made you cum so hard
blood tw!!
Tumblr media
seungcheol: he’d be so caught off guard but being the Good Boyfriend he is, he’d fuck you through it until you go limp underneath him… and then ask if you want to go again
jeonghan: expects nothing less tbh, he knows the effect he has on you when you don’t have his venom in your bloodstream, so obviously this would just heighten everything. if you’re not cumming hard when he fucks you and bites you at the same time, he’s doing something wrong.
joshua: your orgasm triggers his own. he’d cum inside of you unexpectedly, already apologizing for not warning you before he’s even finished riding it out
jun: the shock and the sudden spasming of your body would have him accidentally driving his fangs into you deeper, which just sets you off again, making you cum twice in a row. he’s never seen anything hotter in his afterlife.
soonyoung: he’d fall for you all over again. you offering yourself to him, allowing him to satiate his thirst with your blood, and letting him fuck you at the same time?? you cumming hard on his lap would be the cherry on top of soonyoung’s poor, cold heart.
wonwoo: your blood apparently tastes fucking amazing when you cum, and as soon as wonwoo discovers this he knows he’s going to need to make you do it again, preferably as soon as possible.
jihoon: sits there with you on his lap kinda stunned, your blood dripping from his fangs. he’d tilt his head to the side and lick his lips with a self-satisfied smirk and make a mental note to do this again.
seokmin: forgets that his mouth is full of blood and tries to speak, effectively ruining whatever you were both wearing. you’re too fucked out to care, though, and tell him he can take more from you since he’s wasted his snack— but only if he keeps fucking you through it.
mingyu: fucks you hard until you’re cumming again, as if to prove to himself that he can make you cum without the advantage of his venom
minghao: having his mouth filled with the sweet taste of you, feeling you clench down around his cock, he knows he isn’t gonna last. he accepts his fate, though, and continues fucking you until he can’t hold off any longer.
seungkwan: he’s so turned on by it, he instantly starts praising you, kissing the puncture wound on your neck, mumbling about how pretty you look against your skin…
vernon: he cums instantly, he’s actually not sure if his orgasm hit before yours or not, but he’s not going to question it
chan: he’d want to eat you out so bad after that… like he’s gotten to taste you but he wants to taste you, ya know?? he wants to have you in every way possible.

twisted fate - TEASER
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media

Tumblr media

Let's start with Seungcheol for the vampire headcanons!! 🍒🍒
I had a couple of people wonder about Vampire!Seungcheol so here are some headcanons!
Vampire!Seungcheol Headcanons
Seungcheol was the first to be turned but he really didn't have much of a choice since he witnessed their manager literally suck the life out of an intern.
For him the change wasn't painful since he didn't fight it. It was over as quick as it started.
He didn't want to include the others at first. He was willing to take the blunt side of the situation and be the only one to turn. He wanted nothing more than for them to live their lives normally. But when faced with the chances of him feeding on or hurting them, he couldn't live with that.
Out of everyone he struggled the most with controlling his thirst in the beginning. But once he got the hang of it he became one of the few who could go weeks without eating.
The first time he drank from someone, the bloodlust was too much for him and he ended up nearly killing that person. It took almost half the coven to pull him off.
Eyes turn to a dark shade of red when hungry.
With being the head of the coven Seungcheol is the strongest out of the guys with Mingyu and Soonyoung close behind. The guys do have their share of teasing and play fighting. But not with Seungcheol. Vernon learned that the hard way.
Does tend to have a bit of an anger issue but he never lashes out at anybody. Unless someone continues to press him, then he gives in to his fueled rage.
The most feared out of the coven.
Can and will harm anyone who is a danger to the coven. Single handedly took down an entire coven when they threatened Chan and Jihoon. Word got out and no other coven dared to speak ill of them.
Aside from his enhanced senses, strength, speed and durability, he also has the gift to manipulate fire. He can't be burned by a flame and can't withstand direct sunlight.
His fangs retract. So it's easier for him to hide them unlike Mingyu.
Like Wonwoo, Seungcheol has learned over the years how to keep a barrier around his thoughts. So he can't be manipulated easily.
Purrs like a cat when content. Doesn't mean to do it but when he's relaxed he hums with a light rumble in his chest that reminds the guys of a cat.

Fragility ✧ x.mh
Pairing: Vampire!Xu Minghao x human!reader Genre: angst Summary: For him, this relationship is selfish and will only end up causing you pain. For you, it's a choice you wouldn't change. Word count: 2.2k A/N: personally i consider this as connected to Musings but it can totally be read on its own!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s already dusk when you reach the apartment and heave a sigh of relief when your key still works. The click sounds empty. The door opens with a noise that’s too loud and resonates through the empty hall. It’s virtually abandoned here, so it doesn’t matter, yet it makes you flinch. It feels like you’re doing something that you shouldn’t do, even if all you really want is to talk. You suppose that still counts, at least in Minghao’s eyes, but you shouldn’t get in trouble for that.
It’s been two weeks since you last saw him.
And just as long since you spoke in any way. You half expected the lock would be changed, braced yourself for it, even though you know nothing would help lessen the blow if that really was the case. And well, there’s still a chance that the apartment will be abandoned anyway. That would be worse than anything. You can’t stand the suspense, so with a bated breath you enter and close the door behind you.
It’s clean inside. You know that, realistically, even if the place was abandoned it wouldn’t be covered in a thick layer of dust in such a short time, but it gives you hope anyway. Minghao never allows the space he lives in to get too dirty, and if nothing else, this cleanliness feels familiar and comforting. It’s like nothing changed at all.
You hope it didn’t.
“You never learn, do you?” he asks, nonchalant. The immortal slowly reveals himself, coming to a stop at the opposite corner of the room. While you feel out of place, he fits here - as elegant and collected as ever, tidy like the apartment itself. Not a hair out of place, dressed immaculately, the collar of his dress shirt straight. His hands are hidden behind his back and his face betrays nothing. You give him a smile that he reads as wistful. “Not what you thought you’d find, hm? I bet you thought it’d be a mess. Broken glasses and splintered wood. I bet you even though I’d look a mess.”
You watch him patiently, even if his words hurt. You suppose that’s exactly what they should be doing. But you do understand - understand why he’s doing this, if not how he’s feeling. That would be simply impossible for you. The heartbreaks and pain Minghao must’ve experienced through his millennia-long life will forever remain a mystery, just the same as how exactly did he manage to get through them alive and sane.
You remain quiet for a minute or two even after he stops talking. You meet his eyes and look into the dark abysses they remind you of and keep watching him. He never flinches, never tenses or relaxes, a perfect statue. You know better.
You only speak when he licks his lips, about to say more.
“You look like you missed me,” no teasing, just a soft smile on your lips as you take the first step forward. His face betrays nothing.
“If that’s what you want to imagine,” he doesn’t quite shrug but with the tone of his voice he doesn’t need to. An immortal too tired of dealing with mortals. You know better.
“What if there’s more?” you ask, pausing your step like he pauses his breaths when he sees the hesitation. “What if there’s more I want to imagine?”
“Imagine whatever you want,” he rephrases, composing himself again. Humming softly in response, you walk towards him, steps slow and deliberate as you watch him.
“Then I also think it looks like you were hoping I’d come back,” you say, “And like you’re glad I did.”
You don’t fail to notice how his eyes soften, the dark abyss mellowing into the dark of night. The dark of the type you’re allowed to spend together safely for the both of you. His eyes follow your every move. You don’t think he’s aware himself of how expressive he truly is, if one knows how to read him.
“And I think it’d hurt you if I didn’t come or if I turned to leave now,” as you speak, his eyes linger on yours, as if trying to read within them if you will do that. You stop in your tracks. Not much distance remains between the two of you now, yet you know not to expect him to close it. As much as you wish he did. You know not to expect him to chase after you if you do turn and leave. The future in that case is quite clear - you’d never hear from him again. Next time you’d visit this apartment, he’d be long gone. “Or is that also just my imagination?”
He doesn’t answer and you don’t dare guess what is going on inside his head. The vampire looks just as stoic as he did when you first entered, it’s an art he mastered perfectly. It pains your heart to imagine what turbulent feelings must be clashing inside of him, because he’s never truly got over his emotions. He hasn’t yet learned how to distance himself from them. And so, because you’re both too young and still learning how to live, you forgive him and take another step forward. You do offer him another minute if he should change his mind, but when he doesn’t. You take the last step and you’re standing in front of him.
He breaks the facade then. Vampires don’t need oxygen, but Minghao still pretends to breathe even when he’s not tracking his prey. Now he holds his breath, and you know it’s the last line of defense. You know your blood is calling to him. Your scent too. You know he wants to hold you as much as you want to be held. If there is a time to be bold, it’s right now.
“Or am I all wrong, Hao?” you breathe when you lean closer. He doesn’t like his personal space invaded, yet he doesn’t push you away. He doesn’t lean closer either, but you think he looks like he’s begging you to do it. Like he’s begging you not to give up on him. And you’re merciful enough to hear the plea he doesn’t say as you put your hands on his shoulders and move closer until your lips hover over his without touching.
“Imagine what you need,” he whispers against your lips. His voice shakes. He takes in a careful breath as he gingerly places his hands on your waist, “Whatever you need as long as it makes you stay.”
“Won’t you ask me to?” you murmur, even if you already know the answer. He shakes his head silently. His eyes are soft, there’s a dying sparkle in them as he searches for hesitation or disappointment in yours. He finds none. “Because you’re not selfish?”
This time you might be teasing him, but he’s lost in your scent and he answers seriously.
“Because you deserve more.” More than he will ever be able to give you no matter how much he tries. What he’d truly love to give you is simply beyond his abilities, beyond the realm of possibility. You really do deserve so much more; more emotional availability, more normalcy, more mornings spent lazing in the sun, but above all that - more of his time.
You deserve more than to be just an insignificant speck of a couple years in his everlasting life.
“You’re not withholding anything from me that I wouldn’t lack in a different relationship,” and just as the words leave your lips, you feel his fingers tighten on your waist. His lips are pressed in a thin line. “You’re not as special as you think, Hao.”
You see his adam’s apple bob as he swallows hard, and you watch his tongue poke the inside of his cheek. It’s not often that you make him angry.
But on the rare occasion you do, it’s always like this.
So you push forward and kiss his cold cheek with the utmost softness that your human body can allow. “I’m protecting myself well, Minghao. I’m choosing my own battles. It’s not up to you to do that for me.”
“Love shouldn’t be a battle,” he chides gently, in defeat. You feel his lips brush your skin as he speaks. “You shouldn’t lack anything in love.”
“You do too, don’t you?” you ask, the hands that stabilized you wrap around his neck, bringing him closer despite his stiff posture, “Things I won’t be able to give you.”
“It’s not your-”
“And it’s not your fault, responsibility, or failing either,” you interrupt, because you’ve already had this conversation many times. Just before the short period of no contact too. In the end, you don’t need to have lived as long as he had to be able to foresee how things are going to turn out. Everything begins to repeat itself after a while. You pull away just enough so you could see him. “We’ve talked about this before. If it’s all the same to you anyway, I’d like to stay with you. I may not have as long as you have to live, but that’s why I want to choose the path that’s most precious to me.”
He stays silent for a while, watching you intently with his eyes dark. You know he doesn’t approve, that he likely will never approve of this relationship and that it could become the thing that shatters you. At the same time, despite everything, you know Minghao won’t leave. In his moments of weakness when he gets consumed by fear, he will try to chase you away and discover you won’t let go. He will try to hurt you and discover he can’t do that without wounding himself twice as much.
“Tell me and I’ll leave,” you say anyway and feel him pull you flush against him before he realizes and lets his hold go limp again, swallowing the dryness in his mouth. He can’t even look at you. How unfair it is that he won’t ask you to stay, won’t ask you not to leave, yet he wants you by your side. He wants to treat you the way you deserve. But it’s not right. He hates being a hypocrite. He hates the conflicting feelings. He hates causing you pain.
“You know I won’t,” he whispers, looking at the space where your bodies meet. He wants to be closer. He feels the thirst growing in the pit of his stomach. His selfish instinct to mark the prey as his. And he knows you’ll let him, he knows he doesn’t need to ask. You always let him take what he needs to live, even if he’s not starving. There’s more that he wants than he deserves. More than than he could ever allow himself to express. And yet you are still here, wiser than the fool that he is. “You know it all.”
He feels pathetic, more so when you nod and lean your forehead against his. He still can’t look at you. He wouldn’t be able to cope with seeing the small, sad half-smile that he knows he’d find on your lips. Feeling your hands slide down his arms, he knows he has no right to savor your warmth, but he can’t help leaning closer. When your hands pry his away from your body, he holds your hands like you want. It’s comforting to know he can hold you, pull you back… even though he knows he wouldn’t do that.
“Can we stop this now?” you whisper, and Minghao closes his eyes. Maybe one day he could be strong enough to own up to his feelings, or at least strong enough to send you away. But it’s not today. He presses his lips against yours, softly, carefully, so briefly you can’t respond before he backs down. He loves the soft giggle that meets his ears before you kiss him properly. Your hands squeeze his but he needs to let go of you, so he can tilt your head and kiss you deeper. His thirst is burning up his throat despite him feeding not too long ago.
You take his hand again and he trusts you, lets you have it and do whatever you want. He gasps against your lips when you press his hand over your heart. He feels his fangs extend and nip at your lip without meaning to, and he tries to get back control, but he can’t. He can’t when you hold his hand over your breathing heart and he feels your blood pumping, sees your lips swell with it. He tries to calm his rapid breathing, to ignore your scent, to ignore the thump thump under his fingertips.
“It’s yours Hao,” you smile at him, he can hear it in your voice, “Take it, keep it.”
He can’t be sure if you’re talking about your heart or your blood, and perhaps it’s both. All he’s sure about is that he shouldn’t listen to you. And yet he knows that today, with you so close and his senses clouded by desire, mind fogged with relief, he knows that he will.

vampires pt. 3 | pt. 2 | pt. 1
tags: 2.2k, vampire! seungcheol x human reader, 18+, mdni, dubcon, rough sex, toxic codependency, emotionally volatile seungcheol, degradation (verbal and physical)
Tumblr media
weeks, maybe even a month had passed since you’d last seen seungcheol. you couldn’t tell — time didn’t really exist within the walls of the castle. though gone, his absence was everywhere. it was an absence that made your guilt grow day by day — the weight of which was now suffocating you. what if he’d found another? he hadn’t even called for you once.
the first time seungcheol had ‘called for you’, you thought he was going to kill you. vampires never met with humans alone. they would use the slaves in groups or out in public but seungcheol wanted to see you privately. maybe since he was the one who captured you and brought you here, he felt he had the right to have you all to himself.
since that night he would call for you occasionally, fucking you alone, and until he was satisfied. but that had all stopped. until today. you’d been summoned at midnight, your mind a complete mess throughout the day. you’re not sure why you feel so anxious — you haven’t even done anything wrong.
when it came to these nights, seungcheol had three simple rules:
one, you would be freshly bathed. he wanted you to be washed off traces of anyone else — coming to him pure, untouched.
two, your hair would be tied in a single braid — neat, out of your face.
and third, you would be dressed in a modest white nightgown with nothing underneath, giving him easy access to you.
he was very particular. he liked things pretty, even during his kills. he would bring his prey back to the castle, groom them, and then when they were perfect, he would ruin them. much like when a beautifully plated dish adds to its flavour.
the others were different — jeonghan preferred his prey to be scared, fear coursing through their veins tasted the best; joshua toyed with his food before he killed them, giving them hope they could escape before dragging them back; mingyu was impatient, devouring them too soon and regretting it after; and wonwoo was calm, until the bloodlust would hit him. his frenzied kills were a complete terror.
it’s midnight now as you stand infront of the door, frozen. you look down at the intricate door handle, running you fingers over the grooves to calm yourself down, and after taking a deep breath, you knock.
‘enter’ seungcheol’s voice makes your heart race. it’s been so long since you’ve heard it. you walk into the dimly lit room, the hue from the candles casting a warm glow over everything. as custom, you kneel in front of the fireplace, waiting with your head lowered. the room where you would meet was gorgeous albeit ostentatious. the ornate double doors opened to an opulently decorated room. to the right was a small longue area in front of a fireplace which was never lit; opposite it was a four-poster bed and adjacent to both was a writing desk, placed directly in front of the huge stained glass windows.
as you wait, you can feel seungcheol’s eyes on you, studying you intently from head to toe. you can hear his nails scrape the wooden desk, continuing to stare like he’s trying to find something wrong with you. but you look perfect. still, seungcheol feels a simmering rage within him.
he’d been furious ever since that day. how could you choose someone else? you were first and foremost, his, and for you to pick wonwoo was an insult he couldn’t allow. he’d thought after all this time he would feel differently, but he doesn’t. it was a mistake calling you here.
‘leave’ he dismisses you coldly but to his surprise, and annoyance, you don’t move. it’s foolish to defy him but you need to do something.
‘don't make me repeat myself’
‘master-’
‘get. out.’
‘master, please, i’m sorry’ you don’t know what else to say. you flinch at the sound of his chair being pushed back savagely. his steps are heavy and heated as he walks over, standing in front of you.
‘look at me’ you look up, meeting his eyes for the first time, feeling your cunt quiver.
‘you’re sorry? what exactly are you sorry for?’ he questions, finding it incredulous that you have the nerve to disobey him.
‘i’m s-sorry if i upset you’ seungcheol scoffs, circling behind you. he paces quietly, back and forth, as the seconds pass in complete silence, and then you feel a searing sting. hot liquid hits your skin, making you cry out in pain. ‘you think you, a human, have the power to upset me?’ his voice is dripping with disdain.
he holds the candle above you, letting the burning wax drip onto your supple skin, watching how it rolls down and hardens on contact.
‘master, t-that hurts’ you stutter. seungcheol didn’t get off on your pain, so why was he making you feel it? he suddenly snakes his hand around your throat, pulling you up ‘exactly. it hurts and you don’t have the power to do anything’
‘you don’t have any power’ he reminds you ‘you’re just a weak, pathetic human’ his grip tightens like a noose, fingers digging dangerously deep into your skin.
you gasp as he squeezes tight before releasing you. ‘so helpless’ he mutters, his heavy breath caressing the bare skin of your shoulder, and all of a sudden he lifts your dress up and bends you over. being this close to you after weeks apart, seungcheol can’t control himself. he unzips his pants, pulling out his throbbing cock, and enters you — your cunt that's already sopping wet for him.
it's embarrassing how easily he slips in, your arousal coating his cock instantly. he laughs ‘i haven't even touched you yet and you're dripping wet? pathetic’ despite his words, he loves it. he needs more.
‘stand up’ he orders, his hand back around your throat as he pulls you closer, your back arching off him. he pushes into you completely, your warm cunt gripping him tight and starts thrusting. seungcheol groans, his gaze suddenly fixated on your elongated neck — your skin is taut and tender — it’s perfect. you feel his fangs graze against your stretched neck before he bites, his sharp teeth puncturing your skin as two lines of blood trickle down your neck. you should be scared, you should. so why does it feel almost erotic?
seungcheol drinks from you, your blood seeping into the cracks of his hungry lips as his thrusts hit deeper, his cock throbbing inside you so rapidly. ‘fuck...i need more’ he breathes, teeth sinking in again. seungcheol has always been able control himself, never letting his bloodlust take over, but you taste so sweet, it takes all his will to pull away. he realises this is his privilege, only his, something no one else would be ever be allowed to do — drink from his prey for pleasure.
though he’s taken from you, it feels like he’s injected something far deeper into your veins. you feel bound to him. his presence is heightened — how good he feels inside you; stretching you open, filling you up. you can’t help but want more.
‘master, can i touch myself? please, you’re making me feel so good’ you beg.
he allows; your fingers on your cunt immediately, stimulating your clit.
‘y-yes’ you whine, needy little sounds spilling out with it ‘yes master…use me’ suddenly, he stops thrusting, keeping his hard cock inside you and asks,
‘who do you want to fuck the most hmmn? whose cock do you crave in your slave cunt?’ seungcheol growls, bringing back the very question that upset him, but this time he excepts the right answer.
‘y-yours master, i want you the most. i love getting fucked by my master’s cock’ he lets out a gruff moan at your words, pulling out and turning you around to face him.
there’s a flicker of uncontrolled lust in his eyes ‘what did you just say?’ you repeat your words to him but seungcheol’s stuck on just the two. my master — him belonging to you and you to him. he grabs you by the throat, squeezing lightly ‘what are you doing to me?’ he mutters, feeling painfully possessive of the idea. but then the memory of you spread open, pushing wonwoo’s cum inside you returns. you gasp as his grip tightens.
‘how did it feel, hmm? pushing wonwoo’s cum inside you? you didn’t look like you wanted to get fucked by me, you looked like a dirty fucking whore’ seungcheol’s eyes go dark. for the first time tonight you’re scared, desperate not to upset him further.
‘tell me’
‘i felt nothing master’ you lie ‘i imagined it was yours. i wanted your cum on my fingers…i only want your cum inside me’ seungcheol inhales sharply, high on your words. ‘take off your dress’ he commands as you pull it off quickly. he unbuttons his shirt, almost ripping it off and in a single breath grabs your waist and lifts you, your legs wrapping around his waist and arms draped around his neck. his cold skin is pressed to your warmth as he carries you across the room, pushing you up against the stained glass windows.
it’s much too intimate a position to be in with you but he doesn’t care; he wants you. he enters you slowly, filling you up with a deep sensual stroke. you whimper, feeling all of him inside you.
‘master..please fuck me’ and he does. seungcheol fucks you passionate, making sure every thrust touches your deepest parts, addicted to the soft mewls spilling out of you. he keeps his eyes locked on yours like he’s searching for something in them. you can see they’ve turned a deep crimson in the moonlight — the dreamy moonlight that’s hitting his pale, almost translucent skin so beautifully, his jet black hair and blood stained lips in striking contrast to it. you’re suddenly taken by his beauty, feeling overwhelmed. so you drop your gaze, unable to keep his.
‘no’ he commands ‘you will look at me while i fuck you’ he picks up the pace, thrusting harder.
‘you’re mine’ he breathes ‘you’re mine before anyone else’s. understood?’
he buries his face in your neck, his lips finding where he’d drank from earlier and starts sucking on that spot hungrily. your taste…he can’t stop craving it. as soon as he gets a little taste his thrusts turn animalistic, eyebrows pulled tight as he pounds into you, balls slapping against your cunt. you gasp, tilting your head back, giving him more access. ‘fuck’ his cock twitches inside you.
seeing you offer your body to him like this was intoxicating. ‘look at me’ he moans, his eyes back on yours. then for the very first time, he kisses you. his kisses are hard and messy, matching his thrusts. he pushes his tongue into your mouth, finding yours as your kisses deepen. you need him now and so you beg,
‘master, bury your seed inside me. p-please, i haven’t felt you in so long’ it’s sick honestly — your desperate words and the immediate effect they have on him. seungcheol’s pushed to the brink of orgasm, and for a split second, he feels himself losing all control. taking your life, draining you of your sweet nectar as he cums inside you would be euphoric beyond belief, but he just can’t bring himself to do it. instead, he says,
‘cum with me’ the words coming out of his mouth are unthinkable.
‘you’re going to cum with me’ it’s an order now, and you let yourself feel the pleasure that’s been building. his lips are back on yours, kissing you with untamed desire. ‘m-master, i’m going to cum’ you whine, clamping around his pulsating cock and feeling it take over you — it’s primal the way this pleasure feels. you press yourself against him and moan ‘master, make me yours’
‘f-fuck’ he curses, fucking you against the window so violently as he cums, shooting his seed inside you while you’re still consumed by your high. seungcheol groans and just keeps going, pushing all his cum deeper and deeper inside as if he’s trying to breed you.
‘thank you master..’ you breathe as his pace slackens, his final thrusts slow. there’s a stillness that sets in as his cock slips out of you, your legs unwrapping around him to find the floor. you’re suddenly aware of how eerily silent the castle is tonight. did anyone else hear? it feels too intimate a moment to share. or that's what you think. seungcheol steps away from you, a sudden coldness coming off him.
‘you may leave’ his words are firm.
the overwhelming high from the sex comes crashing down in an instant and those useless human emotions that wonwoo loves so much take over; you feel humiliated, you feel jilted, you feel used. and then you feel tears start to form, your vision blurring. you can't let him see you like this. you drop your gaze and start to walk away, your steps slow in hopes he’ll stop you. but why would he? only lovers stay the night, slaves are sent their way.
seungcheol watches you get dressed, suppressing the urge to pull you back to him. he can’t be attached to a human, that isn’t how it works. humans are disposable, meant to fuck and feast on. he can’t. you turn around and bow, catching his eye for a second and quickly look away. the door creaks open as he watches you leave. you feel like a mess as the door shuts softly, and behind it, so does he.

Sharp teeth pull at a plump bottom lip as Mingyu watches you tug at his belt loops, urging him closer to you. A laugh escapes his lips at how brazen you were with him. Despite how easily he could end you if he wanted, he knew that in your pretty little mind you were unbreakable. Mingyu groans softly, lifting his large hand to run it over your head when you dare to undo his belt then his jeans before glancing up at him eagerly.
He could smell how excited you were. From the arousal that ran between your legs to the way the blood pumped through your veins. The smell was delectable and the sound was almost overwhelming. Your quickened breath, your heart…the fragile little heart beating so fast at the mere thought of touching him– or better yet, him touching you.
Your delicate hands start to tug at his jeans once you have them undone but Mingyu laughs again and his hands grab your wrists with a hissing groan. “Did you lose your manners? Or have you forgotten how to speak?” You gasp out Mingyu’s name making him chuckle as he leans you back on the bed, his body pressing between your legs. The warmth of your body is a stark contrast to his when you feel his lips press against your throat working the kisses towards your jaw and finally your lips.
“Mmm so you can speak. Can you say more than my name tonight? Or is my whore too worked up?” You whine as he degrades you, lifting your hips and arching your chest towards his. “Please…” You were always so eager for him. Humans always were but you, especially. You were always so ready to be ruined by him, be that in his bed or if he needed you in other ways; you were always quick to offer yourself.
Mingyu groans against your lips as you roll your hips towards him, your knee bent so you can rest it along his hip trying to get closer to him. “What is it that my little human wants?” You roll your eyes and lean your head back as he calls you a human making him laugh. Mingyu knew how to push your buttons. His sharp canines on full display as he grins down at you while you all but writhe under him as he pushes his hips to yours now. “What? You don’t what to be called what you are? A fragile human.”
“Stop, Gyu.” He gives you a faux pout and lifts his hand to your throat running his cold fingers over your warm neck, making you shiver as his index finger traces your artery. His trained eyes are almost able to watch the blood pumping under your skin. “I’m not fragile and I wouldn’t have to be a human anymore if you’d just…” Mingyu groans in annoyance, his hand sliding from your neck having heard your plight time and time again. Instead he swallows your words, silencing you for a moment.
You are breathless when he pulls from the kiss and moves down your body, his hands sliding along your body as you whine softly for him. Mingyu looks up at you almost menacingly until he reaches the space between your legs. He is able to push up at the skirt of your dress pooling it at your stomach before he runs his tongue along your inner thigh before he speaks. “You are fragile. I could end you with a flick of my wrist or a simple bite. So seemingly strong willed but you beg like a bitch in heat.”
When you start to complain to his degrading words Mingyu places a kiss over the artery that runs along your inner thigh. His thumb sliding against your clothed pussy making you only prove his words as you whine out his name like a prayer. Mingyu smirks against your leg before taking in a deep breath of your scent, his free hand running behind his mouth while he works his tongue and mouth towards the center of your legs so he can run his tongue over the thin cotton covering you.
“I need…oh God.” Mingyu chuckles between your legs as you speak and cry out for god when he finally uses a hand to slide your panties to the side fanning cold breath over your warm wet folds before looking up at you. “There is no God here. You have forsaken him for me, remember?” You arch your back and roll your hips towards Mingyu’s mouth as his tongue glides over your pussy with a hungry groan. One of his hands moving to grip at your hip pulling you closer as he uses the other to hold your folds open, prodding at your entrance with his skillful tongue.
Your fingers grip at his hair, tugging almost harshly at his scalp. A whine falling from your lips when Mingyu pulls away to look down at you as he tugs your panties down your legs discarding them. “You yearn for me, Y/N. You yearn here…” He runs his fingers through your folds making you arch off the bed as he smirks before he slides off the bed. Your eyes watching him get rid of the rest of his clothes, far too slowly for your liking.
“I do Mingyu. I need you.” He smirks again at your words, moving towards the bed grabbing your arm to pull you up so he can press his lips to your neck. Mingyu’s fingers sliding the zipper of your dress slowly down your back, speaking against your ear when your hand reaches for his heavy cock resting on his thigh. “You yearn for me in your pathetic little heart and soul.”
It’s not a question, but a statement. Your eyes close, Mingyu’s hands sliding your dress down your arms before he leans to push the garment from your body. “What? Suddenly now the vampire’s got your tongue?” You scoff at his words when he substitutes vampire for cat in the saying when he pushes you back on the bed.
“No. I can speak.” Mingyu smirks at you, his hand grabbing at the skirt of your dress to pull it from the bed out of the way so he can reclaim his spot between your legs. “Oh, that’s good to know. Your pretty head isn’t so full of thoughts of just my cock.” You start to speak, some smart comeback when Mingyu’s fingers press against your entrance, two sliding into you slowly.
Mingyu laughs darkly at your moan, his eyes watching you closely. Your head pressing back against the pillows exposing your perfect fragile neck to him. The sound of his fingers fucking into your needy pussy is almost louder than your moans. Wet squelching hits your ears causing your cheeks to burn with embarrassment at how quickly Mingyu can make you come apart for him. “Please Mingyu!”
“Oh…baby. Such a needy fucking whore. Please what? Do you need to cum? Then fucking cum. Am I stopping you? No, I’m helping you do it. Give me everything, it belongs to me.” Mingyu growls against your jaw when he feels you tighten around his fingers. Your cum seeping around his fingers like nectar, it was almost a shame he wasn’t lying between your thighs to collect it on his tongue.
You watch as Mingyu slides his fingers from between your legs and brings them to his lips, sucking them clean. His eyes never leave yours even as he smirks around his fingers. “Delicious…” A moan slips from your lips when Mingyu uses his cock to tease you. His fingers wrapped around his length, he groans and circles his head around your clit before pushing into you with a grunt. “Fucking tight…”
Your walls were constricting around him from the moment his cock buried into you completely. You gasp out Mingyu’s name, your own prayer that perhaps you thought would keep you grounded as he sent you towards the headboard with every hard thrust. Mingyu buries his face against the crook of your neck taking in a deep unneeded breath. A groan leaving his lips before he runs his tongue along your neck to taste the salt in your skin.
“So fucking good for me. Look at me baby.” You whine at his words, how quickly he had been degrading you now he was praising you with that same silver tongue. Mingyu’s hand grasps your chin while you look up at him, your mouth falling open in soft pretty moans. “My pretty little human, singing for me?”
You try to look away when he calls you his human but Mingyu forces you to look at him. “Don’t, look at me. Fall apart on my cock like this…one last time. While you are still breathing.” You furrow your brows trying to process his words but one powerful thrust sends you over the edge. When you begin to cum Mingyu lets go of your chin and you hear him growl lightly before feeling the sharp piercing feeling of his fangs sinking into your throat.
Dying from blood loss was a lot like an orgasm, you find out. Your head was spinning, your limbs became almost non-existent as Mingyu slipped from you as he finished the process. The moment before you were about to fade from him completely you felt a cold liquid burn at your cracking lips. Hunger takes over your thoughts, you grab what is in front of your mouth and latch on greedily.
Mingyu hisses as you bite into his open wound, his blood flowing into your mouth. He watches color rush back into your body, his free hand brushing through your hair. You had been his before but now you truly were his forever. When you have had your fill, you try to take a breath but find it unneeded. Your eyes darker, soulless when you meet the same eyes of your boyfriend who smirks down at you. “You got your wish, my little vampiress. Don’t make me regret this.”
