This UFO-looking car is none other that a Peugeot 905 Evo2 (affectionately nicknamed "Supercopter"), an upgrade of the 2-times "24h du Mans" winning car from the french manufacturer, ran by a 3.5L V10-engine later used in Formula 1 and upgraded, when Peugeot teamed up with McLaren, Jordan and the unluckiest F1 team in history : Prost Grand Prix. It had their high and lows, but sadly the latest evolution of this engine broke a embarrassing record : 53 engine failures in a year!
The Evo2 never competed in any race in the end, but was used for some demonstrations and F1 development. Nowadays one of them sleeps in a secret Peugeot warehouse, and another one was sold at auction in 2011.
Only car nerds knows about the Evo2. It means that Kenichi is one of us :')
