👧Hey, this is @sethabrikoos ,The face behind @sethpicturesmusic :) Swipe for some throwback pics of @alestormofficial , @flotsamandjetsamofficial , @gojiraofficial , @heathenthrash & @bodyfarm_official & read the caption below about why I always use two cameras📸 -------------------------------------- ⁉️ "Why do you use two cameras (bodies) at the same time while shooting (concerts)?" I regularly get this question when photographing concerts. I answered this question in Dutch, but here is my English answer: My answer is: Every photographer has different reasons for this, but for me they are: - By using two bodies I avoid having to change lenses every time. For example, during concerts I use a zoom lens (often my 55-210mm F/4.5-6.3 or 16-50mm F/3.5-5.6) with which I photograph the band as a whole and I also use a camera where a considerable light-sensitive (prime) (eg my 50mm f/1.8) is for shooting close ups, portraits etc. At weddings or concerts, for example, you don't always have the time to change your objective. 📷- Cameras remain technology. Should one of the two cameras fail while shooting, I can continue with my back-up body. For example, you can never do a wedding (or another event like that) again, and it is important that you as a photographer can take guaranteed photos. - Each camera has its own specialties. For example, I often use one body to film in between, and the other body for purely shooting. 🎥 - My second body is a cheaper body. With this model I dare to take more risks (close to water, in the moshpit etc.) Hopefully this gives an idea of why I shoot with two cameras at the same time :) . . . ☀️ Now it is about time for the golden hour - scroll through the beauty up there and see what is ahead of you! I have the ultimate cycling route for you to enjoy the beauty Oud-Zuilen has to offer & this magical time of the day is just perfect for doing so.
I even got an extra route for those who like long-distance running that you will love it because it will genuinely let you forget the kilometers you are making and allows you to explore!
Running route: Starting point at Nuede, 19.6 Kilometers - but please feel free to shorten it. What I sometimes did was start in Zuilen at the Juliana park instead to cut down a few kilometers.
🌬On our way, we will pass the Molen van de Buitenweg en Polder Westbroek - the smallest and biggest windmill of the province right next to each other, connected through monumental floodgates dating back as far as the 1830s.
Cycling Route: 3 minutes, 1.2 kilometers
🚲 Another loop through a storybook neighborhood and off we go for a borrel right at the Water @Brasserie Oud-Zuilen.
Cycling Route: 20 Minutes, 5.7 kilometers
DETAILS
Menu: The Brasserie Oud-Zuilen is a unique and rather higher-ranked place for lunch & dinner as the French-oriented cuisine works exclusively with daily fresh and seasonal (regional) products. The menu is completed with a hand-picked wine card, including 50 very good quality wines, of which many can be ordered by the glass. But, of course, they also offer traditional Dutch Borrel on the terrace!
Special: They also offer boats tours on the Vecht with affordable deluxe borrel or lunch arrangements! Truly lovely to do with a small group of friends. Have a look at all the options right here.
Prices:
Borrelhapjes range from € 4-8. You can find the entire lunch & dinner menu here.
A perfect itinerary for a non-rainy autumn afternoon - make sure you save this one to come back to it when the timing is right!
What is your favorite place in Utrecht at golden hour, and whom do you spend it with? Tag your favorite person to let them know!
