"Starting from Scratch" That was the theme of the October @upcrate box and I finally came around to do this. It's such a different way of working/drawing, but so fun to do it again after some time. I never scratched on a surface before that I prepared myself. However, I really like how you can delute the black ink and play with the different greys and scratch on top. I love the @ampersand_art scratchboards or this time clayboards for this type of art. As a motif I chose this Christmas Wild West scenery greatly inspired by a painting by Jack Sorenson @jacksorensonfineart I found on Pinterest. Salut tout le monde, je partage avec vous un petit dessin fait à partir du matériel de la Up crate de décembre (J'ai pas du tout de retard XD). Sur le thème love has no color. Je suis assez contente du rendu j'ai pas l'habitude de dessiner des afro et je trouve que c'est pas trop mal mais je vais m'améliorer avec le temps ^_^. Je suis partie sur aucun personnage en particulier.

Niveau matériel on était principalement sur du feutre à alcool et sur une format A5.

First time since decades I found myself drawing something. Thanks to my friends.:) they presented me a tiny watercolour set for my birthday and I bought some additional essentials. Back then when I was younger I used to draw much more but this is my first approach using watercolour and watercolour pencils. I tried to recreate the july‘s upcrate art supply box step by step tutorial of the amazing artist @lapetiteruse 😊 Love that little cat and the amazing colours!♥️

Candyman (1992) is my favorite horror film.   For my UpCrate August 2022 unboxing (which I got to in October sssshhh) I got Lyra Watercolor pencils and came up with this and the limited palette I was given.   Watch the process here:  https://youtu.be/pr98ifNMAjg

On youtube there is this jolly good artist named drawingwiffwaffles (which I highly recommend as they are so funny with their videos on drawing). I observed her latest upload with an upcrate #37 unboxing and used supplies I had that were similar with copics, prismacolor pencils, a white posca, and a Sakura Pigma Micron 005.

Here we have Eric Pearl Aaron and Aspasia with animals. I actually enjoyed trying out lining a blob of color. It was very fun.

Aaaaa was finally able to get and opennu first ever Upcrate! Can't wait to try making something~

Again, last year's ratpril, this time no limited colors, but limited materials: only what was sent in the froggie artbox (RU thing similar to scrawlrbox/upcrate/etc.).]

Very different from my usual stuff but I like it c:

"Two in one" I'm still behind with some boxes. So today you get two in one. I think the #upcrate40 and the #upcrate41 aren't totally not my favorites. I always struggle with charcoal especially on smaller surfaces. It's messy and I don't get the results I have in my head. It's amazing what others do with them. However my suitcase isn't so bad I must say. I hope I can use my vacations this year for some traveling. Even if it's only in Germany. The metallic pens from December work mostly great, but they don't really inspire me much. I use such pens mostly to highlight a lettering on a card or for funky details in a piece not for a whole drawing. I tried the scribbling style of the featured artist, but it turned out to be a mess as well.
