i’m so ready for control part 5!!!! it’s one of my favorite fics ahhhh

I'm so glad you're excited!! And I'm happy you like it so much Wanderer :D

At the moment I'm working on Badass!Merlin Part 3 (I know it's super late but AAAHHHHHH I'm actually managing to get quite a lot of work done on it now, I think it was far to ambitious of me to think I would get much writing done over December).

Here's a sneak peek to keep y'all interested!

“We won’t hurt you Merlin, m-... magic or no.”

Merlin tenses where he stands, the tightness of his jaw and shoulders looks painful, and Percival understands that it may have been stupid to bring up the m-word so soon. The Warlock looks up to him with hard eyes before looking around the table, gaze pausing especially on Leon and and Arthur. His response comes out quiet, slow, chilling:

“I don’t believe you.”

He goes back to searching the body when the silence grows uncomfortable, but it doesn’t last long, Gwaine seeming to have taken it upon himself to make things... funny again:

“Out of curiosity, how often would you say you’re stuffing bodies of would-be assassins into random cupboards?”

Merlin pauses and shrugs his lips, thinking shortly before replying:

“Well, not that often, I suppose-”

His eyes go wide and he grimaces as a slight blush rises to his cheeks. He glances up to Arthur but looks away again quickly, clearing his throat:

“-On an unrelated note, Arthur, don’t go into the left cupboard in your antechamber for a couple of... until I say it’s ok.”

Gwaine lets out a short laugh, and even Elyan has a small smile on his face. Gaius rolls his eyes and Lancelot and Percival just stare at him blankly. Gwen looks horrified and Morgana mutters something about incompetence under her breath and Leon stares at him with wide eyes and frozen breath, but it’s Arthur’s blank stare, slight shake of the head, and resigned huff that makes Merlin snort. The King bites his lip before slowly asking:

“Merlin. How long has there been a body in my antechamber?”

OC Chosen: Graciela Gray!

1. What is your name?

My name is Graciela Gray.

2. Do you know why you were named that?

Oh, yes that’s an easy one! I was told that my mother picked out the name. I’m named after my grandmother from my father’s side who I’ve never met. Uhm, it’s complicated because she’s not from my dimension and she died quite early in my father’s life. Still, it meant a lot to my dad and I’m told that Grace Bennett was a remarkable woman who died protecting her family, so I’m honored top have her namesake.

3. Are you single or taken?

It’s complicated. Uhm...my unofficial boyfriend is in boarding school very far away and I don’t see him often. But since we haven’t made anything official after we kissed and he’s been basically MIA...er, I’ve been sort of seeing this guy Maric? But not really? I don’t know. I’m so confused.

4. Have any abilities or powers?

I’m a vampire, but only halfbreed so I don’t have any exciting powers. I mean I learn faster than others and I can retain more information. Plus I run really fast, but besides that the only remarkable thing about me is that I can speak to the darkness but I would call that more a curse than a power.

5. Stop being a Mary Sue.

I wish I was a Mary Sue. Then maybe people would like hanging around me. I’m not perfect, and I don’t have a lot of friends, a perfect body or even confidence. What’s the opposite of a Mary Sue? I might be that, but don’t tell my brother I said that, he hates when I insult myself.

6. ***CLEARS THROAT***Uhmm….No…It’s fine, let’s move on. What is your eye color?

...is that a serious question? I suppose it makes sense because my eyes are glowing. Er, they’re supposed to be brown like my grandfather’s I think? But they just look like a luminescent orange/yellow if you ask me.

7. I see…How about hair color?

It’s unique, isn’t it? I get it from my father. It’s white with blue tips, purple highlights and redish roots. I share it with my dad and younger brother Waverly, and I think it’s really lovely on all of us. You know, the Grace Bennett I mentioned earlier? My dad got it from her. So I guess it’s another gift from her to me.

8. Okay…Have any family members?

Yep, my family is pretty big. I live with my mother, father, older brother Pax, younger brother Waverly, his best friend Gregg, my best friend Camilla and my former best friend Nerissa. Besides that, my grandfather and great grandfather live in Fortitude near us and so do my aunts, uncles and cousins. Though, I know I have many more family members out there that I haven’t met yet.

9. So, how about pets?

Uhm...does Camilla count? She can shape shift into a cat whenever she feels like it. But I wouldn’t really consider her a pet, you know?

10. That’s cool, I guess. Now tell me something you don’t like.

The darkness. I prefer any place that has tons of light. Stop looking at me like that, I’m aware that I’m the only vampire in the world who hates the dark!

11. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?

Er, I keep a diary and write in it. But other than that, I like to listen to really loud music or watch movies to block out the voice of darkness in my head.

12. Have you ever hurt anyone in any way before?

I know I’ve hurt my ex best friend Nerissa by not being who she wanted me to be. By being a freak who hears voices in her head. I know I’ve hurt my parents, siblings, and best friends by not being strong enough to fight things on my own.

13. Ever…killed anyone before?

No, can’t say that I have.

14. What kind of animal are you?

...uhm, you sound like the darkness now.

15. Name your worst habits.

I always talk myself down and convince myself that I’m not good enough for things.

16. Do you look up to anyone at all?

My mother is the strongest woman I know. She’s been through so much and has come out on top. If I was even half the woman she was, I’d be happy.

17. Are you gay, straight, or bisexual?

I’m straight.

18. Do you go to school?

Yes, and I hate it more than anything in the entire world! I used to be home schooled when I was a child by my uncle Erik, but the family had a falling out with him and my aunt. And my parents thought we needed to be socialized with other kids our age, so my siblings and friends were sent to a public school. I wish I was still home schooled because my classmates are terrible.

19. Ever want to marry and have kids one day?

I would like to...but is it really possible? I’m not sure if I’d e a good mother, and then I think who would be the father? Leon or Maric?

20. Do you have any fangirls/fanboys?

No, of course not. Maric and Leon like me and Camilla might consider them fanboys but I definitely don’t.

21. What are you most afraid of?

You think my answer would be the darkness but really it’s waking up one day and being alone.

22. What do you usually wear?

An acid wash jean jacket, jean shorts, thigh high socks and high top sneakers.

23. What’s one food that tempts you?

I don’t eat food, just plasma packets. It’s quite boring actually when I hang out with someone like Braylen or Camilla who have to eat real food. I mean there’s things like plasma infused foods but what’s the point?

24. Am I annoying you?

No, I’m quite enjoying letting this all out. I just wish you asked better questions. Is that rude? I don’t mean to be rude.

25. Well, it’s still not over!

26. What class are you (low class, middle class, high class)?

High class if you’re talking about wealth, because neither of my parents work and we have always had a stable living arrangement. Er, we used to be in a lower class back in Moonlight Falls but things are different now. I really don’t pay no mind to it. If you’re counting class socially rather than income, I’d say we’re on the bottom of the food chain. My family’s bloodline is “tainted” by human blood and while the leader has assured us we’re part of Fortitude, it’s clear some people think we’re beneath them.

27. How many friends do you have?

There’s Leon, Camilla, Braylen, Maric and now Wolf. So five unrelated to me.

28. What are your thought on pie?

I just told you that I don’t eat real food, so I wouldn’t really know.

29. Favorite drink?

Really? I feel like we’re just wasting time now.

30. What’s your favorite place?

There’s this nice spot under a cherry blossom tree that is dazzling after 8am and before 3pm.

31. Are you interested in anyone?

I’m interested in two people and I can’t make up my mind. It sounds horrible, but I really care about both of them. Maric brings stability where Leon doesn’t. But Leon is Leon...I just don’t know.

32. That was a stupid question…

33. Would you rather swim in a lake or the ocean?

I prefer things that aren’t unknown like massive bodies of water. What lurks under there anyway? Nothing good, I’m sure.

34. What’s your type?

Fun loving, great smile, able to calm me down and who is non judgmental.

35. Any fetishes?

Uhm...next question!

36. Seme or Uke?

Er, is that what I think it is? I have no answer! I though I said next question!!

37. Camping or indoors?

I would never camp. Being outside in the open at NIGHT? In Fortitude no less? No thank you. Indoors please.
