Maybe it was her imagination running wild, but Annie could have sworn this guy had been hanging around the cafe for a long time.

More importantly he was occupying their booth.

Ryuuji had gotten roped into something at school and Leader...well who knows where he went or what he got up to before meeting up with them again.

Which left Annie to start organizing their plans, but she couldn’t do that if someone was taking up their spot.

The setting sun was in her eyes. There was a glare and dirty finger prints on the window, so that wouldn’t do. And the leather was slightly more uncomfortable...

Giving up on listing the reasons as to ‘why’ she needed that seat back, Annie turned around to face the young man.

“Excuse me? Will you be here for much longer? My friends are meeting me here and we would appreciate the extra space.”

Annie tried to sound sweet and polite, but there was no smile or entreating look about her gaze, therefore her request came across more like a demand.

            A look of unease crossed the teen’s features, head tossing from side to side as he tried to find his way home. It was late... Last he checked, it was close to midnight. And all of a sudden, the people around him were simply... Gone. Souji found his pace picking up, trying to hurry through the dark, coffin - littered streets. Just as he rounded a corner, he nearly crashed into someone -- stopping just in time. “ .... Sorry, “ he panted out, relieved to find at least someone else.

   Yuko had already blown him off a couple times, well sort of, it really was more that she had stuff to do. But seeing him day after day practicing and slowly becoming one of the best on the team- well there was no way around it, she was intrigued by the quiet new kid. 

   “So are you gonna walk me home or not?”

“Are you up to the challenge Maiko-chan? The ramen challenges get pretty big. “

“Of course I am! I’m a big girl!”

She looked up from the book she was reading to face the man in front of her; he was pretty tiny, almost deathly so. His blue hair hung in front of his face, yet, she could still tell his eyes were piercing into her. She wasn’t sure who he was or why he was looking at her like that, but she wanted it to stop.

      The invitation extended was unexpected to say the least. Aigis had merely been sitting in her assigned seat after school, watching as everyone dispersed off to various obligations. As she had none of her own, she remained for awhile before returning to the dorm. School took processing after all, it was unlike anything she had been programmed to deal with. And watching her various classmates after classes had certainly proved valuable in gathering information about them. However her routine was broke when their leader asked her simply informed her that he needed to eat, and asked if she wanted to come. Strange, because he was the busiest of them all after school. Also strange in that he was the one to address her.

How did it feel when i died?

“...........”A dream?  He came to this one, in a dream after it had all happened. When was it that this dream happened? Days? Weeks? Months?   It felt as if part of my whole world had fallen into shadow. I was stunted, and so were they.    But then I realized, it was alright. This pain was proof that I was alive, proof of the vision that we both, that we all wanted. These feelings that we experience every day, the joy and sorry so that we can keep on living and move forward.   That’s what your answer was, you wanted life to keep going. You wanted everyone to be safe, and I wanted it too.    It hurts so much because you’e not here. It hurts so much because I can’t hold your hand, I can’t touch you. But I can still feel you... I embrace those feelings.   “ It doesn’t matter how it felt.....” I will never forget about you..... Until my life is exhausted.
