In the depths lurks a friend or foe
Which one? Would you like to know?
My contribution to the free Season of Beegees zine that me and my sky pals put together to celebrate the backgrounds of Sky Children of the Light. Released just in time for the third anniversary!!
I really love the Treasure Reef Leviathan [I call her Prawn-chan cuz she's a big krill] and I wanted to have a piece that depicted her as a normal creature that just happens to Live Here. The Reef is her home!! She's not scary she's just a big noodle. She's so good ;u;b

(I recommend clicking on "keep reading" below, to see the full glittery goodness of this painting unfold. ;3)
It's May - and for many artists this means it's the time to draw lots and lots of merfolk for Mermay. And although I'm not actively participating this year I think it’s a great opportunity to show you a merman I painted recently.
My idea behind this was to leave it ambiguous whether this handsome fellow has malicious intentions, or if it’s just a harmless invitation to follow him. How about you, would you grasp his hand and risk being lured into the depths of the ocean? ^_^

Jellyfish
When I don’t have any inspiration for fanart, I will try to learn a new skill. Tonight, I attempted watercolor (again) 😅 it’s a class on Skillshare, conducted by Elise Aabakken, called, ” Underwater with Color – The Magic of Transparency.” 🎨
It is not my strongest or preferred media, but I wanted to challenge myself. I hope you all like my painting of a jellyfish ❤️
