YO! Any Ultraman fans out there??
Any of y'all remember the game "Daikaiju Battle, Ultra Coliseum"? Aka "Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Coliseum"?? Or the arcade games related to it?
I went and remade the elemental icons for the Special Attack moves all the kaiju, choju, aliens and ultras used in those games!
Fire, Electric, Ice, Poison, Water, Darkness and Light!

Rei meets an odd cat.

Why is this cat talking to me?
It was a strange thing to wonder, but Rei’s life wasn’t particularly normal, either, so he supposed this was par for the course. When this light had sort of appeared, he wasn’t sure what he was expecting, maybe another Ultraman like they’d seen before. Not... Not a curious cat, big and fluffy and... talking to him.
And now the cat was introducing himself as Ultraman Mebius.
“But you’re... A cat, aren’t you?” Rei couldn’t help but say.
The cat, Mebius peered up at him, his tail moving side to side, a bit. “Well... Yes,” He began, “But a cat is just the appearance I take! I’m actually an Ultra, really.”
As far as Rei could tell, there were only a few answers to the question of just what was going on with this cat. One, the cat was telling the truth and really was an Ultraman. Two, the cat was an alien pretending to be an Ultra taking the appearance of a cat. Or three, Rei had hit his head or something and was hallucinating or dreaming this whole conversation.
“But why a cat?”
Mebius seemed a little sheepish when he responded, “I like cats...? I don’t know, I thought it was a good idea... And it did work!”
“But a cat?” Rei had a hard time believing that becoming a cat would be well suited for anything. Except maybe getting pets or something.
“There are more important things to worry about than why I’m a cat!”

Okay, Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle, according to some sources it takes place 500,000 after monsters have gone extinct, but according to the Wiki and Wikipedia it's been only 50 years.
So what's the truth? Well, the series is on YouTube and I'm looking at the first episode, the part where the show says how long ago monsters went extinct, the subtitles indeed say 500,000 but I haven't been taking Japanese classes for 7 years for nothing so I'm paying close attention to what he actually says, I'm listening to the line multiple times and... he says 50, it's 50 years not 500,000 I don't know where that's coming from. Even the autogenerated Japanese subtitles say 50
Okay, now I return to try to figure out the Ultraman timeline
