Day 3 of #blackhistorymonth challenge... And I'm going with the highly decorated animator, filmmaker and teacher @lowellboston (Lowell Boston) Lowell was one of my professors at @uartsanimation in Philly. In fact, when all my other professors in animation shunned the type of action character animation that I was trying to do... Lowell was THE only professor to offer me guidance and encouragement in pursuing the type of animation that I loved. It was only because of him, that I was able to accept who I was as an artist... And create a senior film that was personally acclaimed by the Dean of students. I have never forgotten his help and encouragement through ALL these years.
