Best Fest Ouja Rikkai REVENGE Comments

I’ve been meaning to write a review for Rikkai’s Best Fest (Unext) last May, but laziness is a serious and difficult disease to deal with lmao. Hence, I’ll just write down whatever comes to mind in this post to keep my blog alive. Yes, I am still in the fandom, I’m just a lazy loser who stans Rikkkai :)

So, these were the opening screencaps from the concert (I have more but won’t post since the DVD is not yet released). I really thought my internet was acting up back then because it’s quite blurry so I had to retake it over and over again until I was stressed. It turns out, the screen is just really blurry LOL I could still feel the excitement when I watched it.

The opening was Ayasa’s Best Games and the character introductions were so cool. They showed their notable matches from Best Games too. I also loved they way they showed the character introductions with their original outfits and ended with their REVENGE clothes :3

They sang their notable character songs (although, I’m not really familiar with some since I don’t always listen to them haha). Although, there were a few light accidents onstage. One was during Yanagi’s Master Plan, Takepon’s earpiece came off which resulted to go slightly out of tune. The other was during DISPECT, the sound went off for about 0.5 seconds, but Morikubo-san, Minagawa-san and Kaida-san covered it well.

If I had to list my top 5 songs from the concert, it would be like this:

1. Deep Green, Evergreen by Rikkai All Stars - this song made me so emotional 2. SUMMER HIGH by Rikkai Young Kan - kudos to the hilarious summer-like setting! (Hello, Mayonnaise! XD) 3. P Kimochi by Niou Masaharu - I guess this is self-explanatory ♥ ;) 4. DISPECT by Kirihara Akaya, Echizen Ryoma and Fuji Syuuske - their live performance is sooooooo damn cool!!! 5. Laser Beam by Yagyuu Hiroshi feat. Rikkai All Stars - Almost made me believe Yagyuu didn’t have a character song, but made this Rikkai’s encore song instead. Laser Festa banzai!!

Rikkai Best Festa is the best gift they have ever given to Rikkai stans like me. They managed to pull it off despite the whole world is in the midst of pandemic. At first, I thought the concert will be cancelled for a second-time. The whole cast and production staff put a lot of effort in making this happen. I can’t wait for the Bluray to be released. ♥
