Miyamoto Usagi
Tumblr media
From the earth 2016-U23, Japan (year 1630).
Doe.
She/Her (trans woman).
Bisexual.
27 years old (going on dates with Lee since they were 19 years old).
She measures 1.66
White fur. Brown black eyes.
She left her clan after her sensei was killed and she became a ronin.
She came to the turtles' dimension after helping them defet Sabanti Romero (again). She was stranded there for a while and decided that she wanted to stay in their dimension with them.
It took her 4 years to learn English (and she's still not good at all).
She loves Lee very much.
Donnie doesn't like her very much.
Usagi was an orphan girl from Feudal Japan. The place where she spent her childhood was not the best, but she had nothing better, she had been there since she was a baby.
Aoki-san, one of the workers, told her to find something to do with her life so that she could get out of there and not end up like them, so she began to think how she could do it. In her child head, she came to the conclusion that the warriors who came to the house must be the answer, the boss said that they had a lot of recognition in the country, so Usagi one day asked one of them what to do to be like them (the man only answered when he got dr0nk).
He told her that to be a samurai one must be good at wielding the sword and winning battles, so the doe started training in the forest every day to become a samurai. One day her training caught the attention of a lion samurai, who asked the boss if he could take her to teach her how to be a samurai. She went with him, and faced many obstacles.
She did well, everyone praised her talent and before long many of them were interested in her progress, until she told her sensei that she was a girl. From that moment on, everyone looked at her very strangely, as if she shouldn't belong there, but her teacher didn't let them get in her way, Katsuichi-sensei accepted her and continued to train her as always, even teaching her to read (the femenines samurais existed and were just as lethal as the masculine ones, but they were not respected in the same way, they always had to be accompanied by a man, and they were not allowed to learn to read and write).
Her life was hard, but she was doing well... Until her sensei died. It was when she was 18 years old, they had been attacked by the enemy, she suffered several damages, her left ears had been cut off and her right had almost suffered the same fate, they also cut off her hair that she had been growing for years (it didn't seem very important but it hurt her), and she earned a distinct scar on her forehead, but what hurt her the most was that her sensei couldn't survive...
After that, during the first few days without Katsuichi-sensei, she suffered harassment from others, and because of that, it didn't take long for her to leave and leave the clan, she became a ronin.
She left her hair short to "close cycles" and began a new journey without destination.

▪︎○♡○▪︎
○♡○
She had been wandering for a year, working as a yojimbo from time to time, when some singular warriors appeared in her path, some... Kappa? Ninjas? She attack them thinking they were enemys.
When they convinced her that they did not want to attack her and they stopped fighting, they explained that there was something called the multiverse, it seems that they had met another version of herself and were looking for him to ask for his help, but for some reason they ended up in her dimension and not in his. The enemy that was attacking them (a VERY strange creature if she is allowed to say, and she has seen strange things) found them and attacked them, and Usagi decided to help.
They managed to defeat... That crazy creature, to tell the truth Usagi would need a few days to process what a crap adventure that was... But she doesn't regret helping that group, they were nice.
She had to stay in the turtles' dimension for a while until Renet and the Time Lord managed to open a portal to her dimension, but, Usagi doubted if she should go through. She had had a lot of fun these last few days with the turtles, aaaand she had liked the kunoichi in blue very much... And she had no reason to return to her dimension.
For some reason Time Lord let her stay. Everyone was very surprised by her decision, because she would stay in a dimension where she has to stay hidden?! Anyway, that was her decision.
Months later Usagi and Lee began dating, and the doe began to grow her hair again.

ShioriyBradshaw, who continuously tunes into a high-saturation and high-intensity "Local to Global" sound, will host the party which reflecting her unique style, "Eustress" at Shibuya WWWβ, on March 29th. This time, collaborating again with the collective/label "Einhundert," which injects a fresh sense into Berlin's music and art scene, they will curate a collaboration party for the first time in about a year.
Mobilegirl, who has a deep connection with Einhundert and stirred up excitement on the dance floor at the collaborative edition of "Eustress" a year ago, returns to Japan once again. This time, she will showcase a back-to-back set with Why Be, who has been making his mark as a producer since the mid-2010s and has also been leading avant-garde electronic music as the owner of the label Yegorke. Their play style, which is difficult to classify into specific categories but excels in delivering direct sounds to the body and emotions, is a must-see.
And from "Einhundert," one of the key members of the collective who recently performed at the "Boiler Room Festival Berlin" at the end of February is Nico Adomako, also known as co-founder of Ghana's "Oroko Radio". Then, Kanucia, who fearlessly mixes a diverse range of sounds from Hard Drum to Ballroom to GQOM, embodying the spirit of the collective. Additionally, from the local scene, riria, known for her unique selection palette while consistently capturing the essence of youth with her play, garners attention in the lineup.
[About Einhundert]
EINHUNDERT is a question of identity and belonging, continuously reproduced and explored through a series of club nights and community events.
As a transdisciplinary, multi-ethnic collective, EINHUNDERT is constantly developing and deconstructing ideas of identity and belonging in the context of localities and inner-city culture. Working exclusively outside of traditional cultural institutions, the Berlin-based collective formulates a unique Diaspora-German/European perspective on European identity, global-local dynamics, and cultural hegemony.

Hear me out: this is the beggining of an era of WOSO dominated by Spain. Nobody can stop them, I'm sure if they played Japan now they would win.
Their U23, U20, U19, U17 and U16 are literally WC and Euros champions almost every year.
I don't think they're invincible they have flaws it's just do the teams opposite them have the capabilities of counteracting those flaws particularly defensively. We are definitely in the era where international football is not known for its good defending

Japanese National Team Calls Up Rai for the First Time

Grasshoppers midfielder Rai Kogiku has received his first national team call-up for Japan. The 20-year-old has played for some of Japan's youth teams before, including the U19s, U20s and U23s. Can Vietnam U23 Continue Their Magic Against Formidable Uzbekistan?
2017-2018 Asian U23 Cup Match Time: Saturday, January 27, 16:00 Can Vietnam U23 continue their magic run? Vietnam U23 have drawn their last three matches against strong opponents. Will they be able to extend this streak in this game? Basic Analysis 1. While Vietnam U23's strength in Asia was previously not that great, their development in recent years has been quite rapid. Moreover, this team has great resilience - in their previous three games, they fought until the very end, which is an outstanding performance. In this game, they will undoubtedly battle it out to the bitter end. 2. Uzbekistan U23 has performed very well so far. Moreover, in the knockout stage their results have been extremely impressive. The team first had a big win over Japan, and then continued their run by bloodily overcoming Korea in extra time. Clearly in this game, they have their sights set on the championship.

Spotlight | Rinya Nakamura
By: MMA WATCH
Japan's most interesting prospect returns to action. Former U23 World Champion freestyle wrestler Rinya Nakamura (8-0) will be back in the cage this week as he continues accruing cage time. One of the 'benefits' of the UFC signing every fighter with a pulse nowadays is that they are no longer just throwing every interesting Japanese prospect they have at the hardest possible match up imaginable. Cause while Nakamura's resume, athletic prowess, and potential are very apparent, being a good fighter comes down to time. Cage and training time. And Nakamura is only 3 years into MMA.
Nakamura will face off against Ecuador's Carlos Vera (11-3) at UFC 298 this Saturday (Feb. 17).

WHUMPTOBER 2023 DAY 4: “I see the danger, It’s written there in your eyes.” Cattle Prod | Shock | “You in there?”
Well, would you look at the anomaly: for once, I'm not making Matsuyama eat the floor! He gets to be a bit of a caretaker this time, and not in a WY fashion, just in a "taking care of your soccer buddy" way.
I was originally going to write this one with a very similar premise but also with an OC, but my brain decided it wasn't Ziggy time - it was platonic JunMatsu time instead. To be fair to my brain, they're my favourite parallel in all of CT, and I don't write them nearly enough as their canon selves (the HSAU being another thing altogether in that regard). To say this all started from watching France 24 and seeing a weather forecast for Amsterdam, London and Paris one morning last week…
It may just be me, but God the idea of those two being roommates during international tournaments lives rent-free inside my head. It's done so since I first discovered Mikono's work on Twitter like a year and a half ago, but man, she makes a compelling argument.
Midway through writing this, for some reason that I can only call "JY Anime Is Ongoing Syndrome", my Misugi decided to become an assistant coach instead… when I was trying to set this fic during either the U19 tournament or U23 Olympics. So that was weird, but I guess this means this story is set in an alternate timeline where Misugi did end up becoming coach instead of a useless-ass defender one of Japan's flagship players. I like writing this guy as a bit more aloof and loopy than he'd be in canon, just because I like that characterization from doujins. It's a fun way to write what's otherwise a very serious character! Misugi can be a bit silly, as a treat.
---------------
A Dulled Blade Can Never Win
Summary: Fatigue, roommates and a bit of a bad heart day.
Fandom: Captain Tsubasa
Word Count: 1.3K words
AO3 version available here.
-----------
His heartbeat is irregular, today.
That’s the first thing that came to Jun’s mind when he woke up. Live for over twenty years with a sham for a heart and you’re bound to be attuned to its overly demanding needs, even while half-awake. The discomfort is an instinctive thing, like the sting of a bug bite or the sensation of needing rest. He doubts anyone not in his shoes would understand this to the unconscious level he feels. Who even thinks about their heartbeats? It’s like breathing, to normal people.
Well, maybe normal people do think about their heartbeats when they’re abnormal. They’re just not as used or attuned to their pulse as he is. Now, he only has to find out why: it could be regular arrythmia, it sometimes happen, but it could also be a lot more devious.
The thought remains on his mind for the rest of the morning. He follows conversations about strategies, tactics and who gets to be a starter player this time around. Coach Kira asks for his opinion and all he can provide is surface-level pleasantries, he’s sure of it. Or maybe he did just spew out whatever ideas he had brainstormed during the night. Who knows; not him, unfortunately.
It’s all very fuzzy and beyond him, at times, in this strange way that shouldn’t be the case anymore. You don’t live for over twenty years with a faulty heart to get distracted by its symptoms anymore. He’s swallowed the hypertrophic cardiomyopathy so long ago, why is it now biting him back? Can’t he just do his job properly?
Eventually, they’re back in their rooms. Somewhere in the haze of his heart bothering him for the nth time this week, he remembers he should research their next opponent – Spain, maybe? Or was it Brazil? Too familiar. Portugal, then? No, no, they’re already eliminated, have been for a while judging by the fact he can’t even remember… God, this is starting to look bad on his front.
Why can’t he focus? Even the lines in his book are starting to swim and make no sense. His heart is still beating too fast, and his head feels light on his neck. Perhaps he is about to slip into an attack and isn’t realizing yet. Maybe that’s what the haze is. Perhaps he should see Coach Gamo about this? Wait, no, he’s the med school student here, what is he even think –
Hey, you in there?
The voice is loud, strong and perhaps a little frustrated; yet it nonetheless remains calm and controlled. It snaps him out of that… was it a pensive trance? Or was it something else? Who knows, who knows… He didn’t even know he had slipped into one. That’s… weird. What was he thinking about? Ah, dammit, the page of the book is cornered, he must have done that when he jumped.
Right, yes, there is someone right in front of his face – his roommate, as it turns out. He hadn’t even heard Matsuyama come in, how long has he been here? Questions for another time, he supposes.
“Oh, it’s just you,” he nonchalantly replies. “What can I do for you?”
“You were zoning the hell out, so I was wondering if you were okay.” His eyes squint. “You don’t look like it to me.”
Oh no, not this spiel again.
“Why thank you for the concern, but I’m quite alright. I was merely just deep in thought.”
Of course, it’s now that Matsuyama has chosen to be a sceptic.
“Oh really? You’ve been like that all morning-long, man. What were you thinkin’ about?”
“Uh…” Good question, isn’t it! “Our next opponent.” Yeah that sounds good – what?
Somehow, during that very short snap of inattention, somehow, his suspicious teammate has found the time to lean in front of him and put a hand on his forehead. Soon enough, he’s started gritting his teeth, eyebrows knitting.
“Wait, you’re burning up!” He yells out immediately thereafter.
“That’d explain some things,” Jun thinks out loud with half his mind operating. “Wait.”
Goddammit. It’s not how you reassure someone like Matsuyama. Once he’s onto you, he’ll never let you go. If only he could’ve kept it shut…
“What do you mean, that’d explain some things?”
This is a good way to buy a one-way ticket to the infirmary, yes.
“Things being fuzzy, for lack of a better term. I thought it was just my heart playing tricks on me.”
“You sound awfully unconcerned about that.”
“You do tend to become used to things like this. I’m pretty sure you’d know what I mean by that.”
He has a chuckle at his comrade’s expense.
“Point granted, after some time, it must just be an annoyance.” His eyes squint again. “You’re sure you’re –” oh, now they’re wide open, “hey, wait, you’ve still got a fever!”
Well, looks like his diversion plan has failed. That’s the issue with trying to convince Matsuyama of all people: this guy never forgets. It’s like he has a built-in radar for people’s discomfort and he will do something about it, no matter the price and no matter how harsh his tone has to get (he usually apologizes about fifteen minutes later, twenty if you’ve really worried him. Don’t ask Jun how he knows that). Oh well, he’s tried.
Maybe that’s the reason why they keep sticking the two of them in the same bedroom, even after all those years and fine-tuning who goes along with who (and his roommate would be able to chart it all out, if you could read his handwriting). They just figured he’d pay attention to Matsuyama’s numerous bruises and he’d keep watch over his tendency to… embellish the truth, yes. Habits die hard and if those two aren’t the living showcase of that, then what is?
“It does sound like it, if you say so.”
“Well, you’re the future doctor of us two, so… Where do I bring you? The infirmary?”
“You could also let me be, Matsuyama. It’s just a—”
“I’m not doin’ that, no, not when I know who you are.”
“You can’t ask for a doctor’s advice and just ignore it.”
“That’s not medical advice and you know it.”
Oh… He isn’t even smiling.
“I’ll be fine, don’t worry yourself about it,” Jun tries saying with a hand on his chest (force of habit).
“There aren’t a lot of guys you could be saying that to here, but I’m certainly not one of them.” He kneels back down to his level. “Especially if it’s about your heart, then I’m not lettin’ that shit pass.”
Stupid force of habit.
“You don’t completely zone out like that, usually,” he continues. “You’re sure you sleep at night?”
“I do, yes.” Perhaps not much, but yes, he does get some winks in… when insomnia doesn’t hit, that is. “Although I’ll agree with you, I’m usually sharper than that.”
“To the infirmary it is with you, then.”
Jun sighs. For all intents and purposes, it’s very much affectionate.
“You really aren’t gonna give up anytime soon, won’t you?”
“Nope. It’s either you go willingly or I’m getting someone with bigger arms than I am to put you there.” Matsuyama sighs as well. “I hate that phrasing, but it’s for your own good.”
Eventually, Jun feels his shoulders lower.
“Fine, fine,” he replies as he gets up. “It’s an off day and seeking medical assistance for non-urgent situations is better than letting something potentially dangerous fester. I’ll go.”
His roommate follows, far more relaxed than before.
“Good. I’d have hated forcing your hand.”
“I know.” He walks to the door. “See you later, then.”
Before he can open it, however, Matsuyama follows.
“Wait, Misugi! I’m coming with you.”
“If you want,” he replies with a shrug.
Maybe one day he’ll be able to admit he likes having someone to rely on – but for now, they just make their way out of the living quarters in silence.

川崎ちどり公園にて開催された『RDC -Back To Real-』への出演を皮切りに、CYKの主催パーティー史上最大の動員となった『CYK 5th Anniversary -Into the Future-』を開催。
『CYK 6th Anniversary. ALL NIGHT LONG "and You!"』

『CYK 6th Anniversary. ALL NIGHT LONG "and You!"』
CYK 6th Anniversary Party to be held, first all-night long B2B set in 3 years at Spotify O-EAST!
In 2021, CYK, which had stopped since the Corona disaster, started to move. Starting with an appearance at "RDC -Back To Real-" at Kawasaki Chidori Park, CYK held "CYK 5th Anniversary -Into the Future-", the largest turnout in the history of CYK's organized parties.
In 2022, CYK made a comeback to Higashi Izu, appearing at the main festival of "Rainbow Disco Club," was selected to close the RED MARQUEE stage on the second day of "FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL," and in August, held "CYK -THE STORY CONTINUES-" at CONTACT.
Over the past year, CYK has experienced a number of major stages filled with love and new friends. No matter how big the stage, each one was definitely a "party". To celebrate 2022 and the past 6 years of many such nights, CYK decided to throw their own party in the biggest venue ever to welcome all the people they have touched.
This is the first all-night B2B set in three years, with love from CYK.
Our Swedish friend Baba Stiltz, whom CYK recently reunited with after 4 years, told us CYK that "Love is everything". We hope that "CYK 6th Anniversary. ALL NIGHT LONG "and You!"" will be an unforgettable night for all the clubbers who have been looking forward to it.

CYK
It was a natural thing that CYK came to be — when some of Tokyo’s house freaks came together to throw their own party. Not only a platform for showcasing international guests, CYK is also a collective of DJs, organizers, promoters.
CYK is the Tokyo-based house music collective consisting of Nari, Kotsu, Naoki Takebayashi, and DNG. They have invited cutting-edge artists from Japan and abroad such as Mall Grab, HAAi, Baba Stiltz, KENJI TAKIMI, Avalon Emerson, Jun Kamoda, Skin On Skin, and more. Other parties have been held in a variety of formats, including the "CYK All Night Long" series, in which four CYK members create a night with only B2B, and the "CYK & Friends" series, which focuses on hooking up with local DJs close to home and abroad.
The members are constantly offered B2B sets, and have played at Venues in Tokyo such as CONTACT and VENT, as well as at big festivals such as "Rainbow Disco Club" and "FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL".In 2022. They will also play at the Wonderfruit Festival in Thailand.
CYK doesn’t propose any lofty aims as a crew — we simply love to keep representing proper grooviness and to draw partygoers into exciting and immersive dance spaces.
Keep your eyes open! More info will be coming soon.
