Someone in my bookclub(who already infantilizes ty for being autistic) yelled at me for taking with my friend about ty being a monsterfucker
"He is a child!" Like he's?? the?? same?? age?? as?? us?? (our groups ages span from 15-18)
"Ty would never sleep with anyone other than Kit!" 👁👄👁 yeah um...cool? Good for you?
(Personal favorite) "Ty would never sleep with a downworlder because they're all cheaters and whores like Magnus, Tessa, and Kieran!" I almost hit her for insinuating that 1) bisexuals are cheaters 2) polyamory is cheating and 3) sexualizing three individuals based on their race/sexuality
We all just kinda sat there as she went on a tangent about it, everyone but her is queer and/or poly so we waited for her to go to the bathroom and then we walked to a nearby park and finished our meeting there
The meeting was over song of achilles btw, my friend had just shown me a post and I said #tycore and she just lost it
Ughhhhh. I HATE people like this! Like sure my I as an adult shouldn't be making jokes about Ty being a monsterfucker, even though I'm talking about him as an adult, but you and your friends are teenagers like you said! And calling him a child when he's literally only a couple years younger from what it sounds like is infantilizing as shit! Ugh!
Also, "he would never sleep with anyone but Kit" what is with the allistics and the obsession with autistics being perfect virgins except for our "one true love" it's CREEPY. It's weird and creepy knock that shit off!!!
I'm not even gonna get into the biphobia and the polyphobia and the slutshaming just ewwwww. Ly this is why you don't join bookclubs/hj.
Anyways Tiberius Nero Blackthorn is a monsterfucker and ableists can die angry 😊
