Ty luko - I need you
It’s been four nights since Zuko and Ty Lee shared one passionate and erotic night together. He tries to pretend to go on as if nothing happened and it’s been bothering Ty Lee but at the same time, she feels guilty and guesses Zuko does too. After a helpful pep talk from Suki, Ty decided if Zuko wasn’t going to express how he felt, she was.
Ty Lee: “Zuko?”
Zuko: “Yes?”
Ty Lee: “I know what you’re trying to do, and I understand why. You feel like you might be hurting Mai and I was supposed to be a gaurdswoman along with the rest of the elite crew, the whole relationship is strictly business, so you go on to pretend like nothing happened.”
Zuko says nothing, neither confirming nor denying.
Ty Lee: “But Mai was the one who broke up with you and during that other night, it seemed as though you were way over it.
Zuko: “Look, Ty Lee-”
Ty Lee: “Here’s the thing Zuko. What’s happened, happened, the bell can’t be unrung. That said, I have something to confess. The day you were banished a part of me broke and I had no idea why. I didn’t know it then but that made me begin to lose trust in the fire nation and that your family was no different from my family. When you were gone there was a hole in my life that I tried to fill with anything I could find...partying, acrobatics, traveling with a circus...or some strange combination of all of the above.”
Zuko: “Hmph.”
Ty Lee: “But nothing worked. Nothing made me alive like you did. And I always thought it was just because I was depressed but seeing you now has made me realize how much I need you. I know I’m not Mai and I’m not trying to be but if-”
Zuko interrupts by placing his lips onto hers, she was surprised at first but relaxed and embraced him.
...
They slept long through the morning in bed, all their clothing removed and scattered all over the floor, Zuko woke up to the sight of Ty Lee next to him, asleep with her arms wrapped around his torso and her head laying against his chest. He couldn’t help but smile at her. Ty Lee began waking up herself.
Zuko: “Hey.”
Ty Lee: “Thank you, my lord.”
Zuko: “Yeah, yeah. Glad to be of help.”
They were slowly getting out of bed and went to the living room, Zuko wearing only his trousers and Ty Lee in a red robe.
Zuko: “How’d you sleep?”
Ty Lee: “Surprisingly well.”
Zuko: “Your learning of acrobatics and anatomy has really paid off.”
Ty Lee giggled cutely.
Ty Lee: “Not as impressive as you. Our second time and you exceeded my expectations. Are you sure I was your first?”
Zuko: “Pretty sure. I think I’m gonna be stuck with rose oil for a week.”
Ty Lee: “What do we plan on doing today.”
Zuko: “I dunno, probably just more fire lord things.”
Ty Lee: “I hope that’s fun.”
Zuko: “Eh, it can get boring at times.”
Ty Lee: “Could fire lords take days off?”
Zuko: “I donno. It’d probably be a big risk. I just pray every day that the fire nation can be led on the straight path.”
Ty Lee: “Me too. I know you can do it because I know you.”
Zuko: “Yeah, I guess you do.”

Inkbenders and The Bad Guy both have me greatly intrigued!
No need for intrigue!
Inkbenders is a Ty Luko tattoo shop AU. Zuko owns a tattoo shop and ends up needing a shop manager, since Aang decides to start tattoo apprenticing. Surprise, surprise, Ty Lee is Aang’s replacement. I just live for Ty Lee annoying the shit out of Zuko until he realizes she’s super smart and has her shit together. I love the supporting cast in this fic, who are all designed to annoy/love grumpy Zuko. I did steal this premise for a Yue x Zuko fic, I was going to enter it for the rarepair challenge, but I’m still debating whether it will be my final entry, but I don’t think I’ll ever post this one. It was very self indulgent.
Speaking of self indulgent... The Bad Guy is a Ty Lokka Daddy kink fic. I wanted to give Sokka the opportunity to be more deviant than how he’s typically written. I selfishly wanted bad boy Sokka and I still am trying to manifest that into my life. I have zero plans for posting this, I’m still pretty weak on my smut writing, so this will continue to collect dust in the cemetery of dead WIPs.

Ty Luko - Aftermath
Azula: “So, you and my Zuzu did the deed?”
Ty Lee remained silent, still giving Azula the cold shoulder.
Azula: “Come on, don’t think I wasn’t able to sense enough electricity between you two that was more than anything that I could bend.”
Ty Lee: “(Groans) Yeah, a few nights ago.”
Azula: “Woah! Honestly, it’s about time. How was it?”
Ty Lee: “You really wanna know the private details your own brother’s life?”
Azula: “So...not so great?”
Ty Lee: “(Sigh) No! It was amazing. Beyond amazing. Magical. Both of our auras went off like fireworks.”
Azula: “Yeah?”
Ty Lee: “Except, he’s been trying to pretend like nothing ever even happened. Badly at that, because he also acts nervous around me.”
Azula: “I’ve been in that dance.”
Ty Lee: “Maybe it was too soon. I don’t know what I was thinking. Maybe we’re just worried how Mai would take it, she liked him too.”
Azula: “She also dumped him, twice, if she’s smart, she’ll know that her ex is allowed to date who ever he wants.”
Ty Lee: “But she’s our best friend, she’s the only person you were genuinely friends with surprisingly, Zuko’s your brother, he hired me and the rest of the warriors to be his personal bodyguards. This just feels all over the place.”
Azula: “Ha! Zuzu surrounds himself with beautiful elite warrior women? And I thought Sokka was the casanova of the team.”
Ty Lee: “No...It’s...not like that!”
Azula: “(Smirks) Mmmmmm-hmmmmm.”
Ty Lee: “SHUT UP!”
Ty lee angrily but lightly punches a laughing Azula rapidly.
Azula: “Regardless, you just be sure to talk to him Ty, some guys need a period of adjustment, everyone gets nervous around commitment. Besides, with you easily being surrounded by men and Zuko surrounded my women, it seems natural for you two to hook up.”
Ty lee rolls her eyes.

Monday and Friday for the ask?
monday: do you struggle with the ‘boring’ parts of writing?
I am very impulsive, so sometimes I tend not to be as descriptive as I should be. I just kind of want to get to the meat of it. I’ve been trying to take a step back before posting, but sometimes my impulsiveness gets the best of me.
I also struggle with writing action sequences and smut. I feel like I’m not properly conveying what I’m seeing in my head. And it’s so hard to write smut that doesn’t sound like everyone else’s.
To hopefully improve, I read lots of other people’s work and I recently started following a page on here called howtofightwrite.
friday: most self-indulgent fic you have ever posted?
OoooooOOO.
I would argue all of my fics are very self indulgent. I’m not out here doing this for comments or kudos. I write because I am an impulsive idiot, who gets an idea and has to spew it out into the world. Even for my one shot requests, I only ask for the pairing and then that gives me the freedom to take the story wherever the heck I want.
My most self-indulgent fics are my Ty Lee ones (Zhaolee, Ty Luko, Ty Lokka, Jetlee). No one is really pounding down my door asking for those, but I just have too much fun writing her.
