Pro tips for if you get a bloody nose:
You should get a tissue/toilet paper/kitchen paper, and hold your nose closed. There's a hard ridge there, and you should try to hold it under the ridge.
Angling your head backwards can be used to avoid leaking blood on the floor, but makes blood drip into your throat/mouth.
If it doesn't go away, make whatever your holding to your nose wet with cold water.
Try to find something calm to do, it get exceedingly boring otherwise, and if you get frustrated, it can take longer to go away.
If you've got a surface which you don't want to make gross with bloody tissues, but it's also the only place you can adequately place the tissues, use one tissue as a buffer. This one can also be used to throw the others away easily.
