First few weeks...

The first thing our midwife said besides the obvious ‘congratulations’🎉🎊 is try not to be overly happy as a miscarriage is something that occurs more often with women who suffer with PCOS😔.. I already knew this so we did try our hardest to suppress the happiness🤫.. well.. we all know thats almost impossible.. at 6weeks our first echo was made. I was suppose to go on holiday and had a stomach cramp so they didn’t want to take any chances of me having to go to an hospital abroard. That was the first time I saw a little heartbeat💗.. that little heartbeat was inside MY body.. growing inside me! 🤰🏼

We went on holiday ☀️ and I was being so incredibly careful with my hygiene, drinking water from bottles etc and I got sick.. at first I thought it was morning sicknes throughout the entire day. Then I thought it was a tummybug as it wasn’t just the throwing up anymore😅.. It lasted the whole week. I felt weaker and weaker. The trip home was aweful😫 every 5min to the airplane toilet, bag on my lap, with nothing coming out anymore. Once I got home we phoned the midwife and I went to hospital. I realised I hadn’t peed for 3 days.. apparently that’s to long🤣.. I was admitted for a week.. got fluids and after 3L of it I had my first teeny tiny pee in days🚽.. All I could think about was my baby. Through alllll this he was getting stronger and stronger.. as a matter of fact he used all my reserves. Ofcourse I wanted him to.. all of the sudden you realise how far you’d go for someone you haven’t even met yet.

We then moved onto 6 days of solid sickness and being very poorly. Now it has spread and everyone but me and Kaitlin have now been sick.
