- the most narcissistic person on this team
- always thinks shes right, and will fight you if you think otherwise
- she looks down on shorter, younger, older, and people who dont think shes the most radiant and beautiful person on sodor (almost everyone)

- like raquelle, but more flawed

- the chill sibling
- argues with his sister ALOT.
- hes very adventurous, and loves cats
- HE IS THE MOST SENSITIVE BTCH ON THIS TEAM. like bro why do u get so mad when someone slightly changes their tone towards you??
- he actually enjoys seeing his sister get beat with the broom by their mom

EMMANUEL SAINSBURY (13)
- people consider him to be the justin bieber of sodor, people scream every single time he passes by
- according to the people of sodor, hes the most handsome member of the team
- no.1 edith defender (one time he actually jumped giselle when she was getting way too out of hand w her insults , to the point where emily had to step in to stop him from breaking her neck)
- he can be very bossy and disrespectful, but is quick to apologise for his behaviour
HELENA PAYNE (14)

- the most introverted person on the TT team
- shes actually suuuuper paranoid, and is scared of everyone and everything
- shes very insecure of her height
- she really likes anne of green gables and anything related to it
JOHANNA βJOβ MALONE (11)
mentor: percy
- the youngest of the TT team
- some people say shes cute, others say shes the most annoying girl on the team
- shes very smart for her age, but no one actually listens to whatever plan or strategy she comes up with
- nobody takes her seriously because of how young she is
HAYLEY DAVIS (13)
- not exactly a member of the TT team, shes just an honorary member
- shes a part of it because sir topham hatt told the og steam team(mentors) to include her in it (βshe has no friends and is almost out of time, please just give her this opportunity so she can die in peace.β - sir hatt)
- she has an illness that prevents her from doing things like running, exersicing, and working, and shes practically dying
- she can still do things like walk, talk, and eat by herself; but overtime her ability to do these things would decrease
- she got the illness from her mom, who is DEAD!!!!
- gets wounded very easily (everything at her house is safety proofed, like all the corners are rounded and stuff)

I can't stop thinking about that one moment in RWS No. 8 (Gordon the Big Engine) where Gordon comes to help out James.
LIKE COME ON EVERYTIME I THINK OF THAT MOMENT I THINK OF A FATHER HELPING HIS CHILD LIKE OGJUDJGJJJG. THEM.
And as a bonus it adds onto my whole "generation" grouping thing, if you dont get what I mean then let me just-
Gen 1: N. 2 (??), N. 3 (??), and N. 4 (??)
(Gen 1 could mostly be Coffeepots like Glynn, I just don't know what to name them-)
Gen 2 (?): Rheneas (N. 2), Sir Handel (N. 3), and Peter Sam (N. 4)
Gen 3: Edward (N. 2), Henry (N. 3), and Gordon (N. 4)
Gen 4: Thomas (N. 1), Percy (N. 6), and James (N. 5)
Now how does this tie into their characters? BASICALLY, take James, Peter Sam, and Gordon as an example of things. Those three have something incommon, they have something special only known to them. What do I mean by this? Well, Peter sam's funnel, Gordon being the one to pull the WNW (Wild Nor' Western) Express, James with his special paint.
Technically this sort of thing only applies to Gordon and James and the mysterious N. 4 Coffeepot, that came before the two, since Peter Sam belongs to the Skarloey while James and Gordon belong to the main cast I think Peter Sam wouldn't count, but possibly can if he did come to Sodor before them.
But yeah, basically my point is, the next/current generation will always carry a trait from the last generation.
Thomas carries Edward's "early days" traits, Percy carries the anxiousness and moodiness of Henry, James carries the Pride and the similar haunting past of Gordon, Philip (and Mavis?) carries the self-esteem of Toby, etc. Like family in a way, except they're a found family of traumatised anthropomorphic engines
Though to mention it in a more metal-related (my term/words for blood-related/relative engines) I think the most common/well-known example would be the Gresleys, aka the telenovela other Railways watch.
How exactly would they be an example? Well to explain, since Gresleys are actual irl things and not just part of the TTTE universe, that would mean a big BIG family tree.
Meaning, Scotsman and Solario would've been passed down Great Northern's observant eyes, Sir Nigel got passed down Banbury's calming aura, Pretty Polly carried Blink Bonny's forwardness, etc etc. Like genetics, except through gold dust (some of Gordon's gold dust was sprinkled into Scotsman's gold dust in my au, so yknow. WAHBANG Genetics)
Now every family has one trait most of the family has, and in the Gresley family, it would be their Pride and brutal honesty. (mostly pride-)

Do you have a place where all of your au tags are explained I keep getting them mix up
AU tags? Sorry I'm a bit confused I mostly only using tagging for characters - if it's got a BFM ng: (Next gen) or BFM oc: (oc that isn't a child of x and y) then it's Smurfs and you can assume it to be a generic BV post.
If it's other fandoms it might be something like BFM: SP for South Park or tagged with TTTE for Thomas etc, plus there's other fandoms too but I can't remember if I made specific tags for them yet I haven't drawn too much else lmao.
The only main AU I have is Butterverse, which is just my basic ideas and ocs. Most of my other AU's are one offs and will only exist for a page or two. Chaos AU is a SLIGHT exception but even that isn't really drawn too much compared and I haven't worked on them in a while. I usually just tag standard fandom, characters and or ships, then ocs.
With these asks it's either butterfrog answers or butterverse asks depending on if it's related to my au or just asking me a general question!

-She has longer sharp teeth cause she is secretly more of a siren than a normal mermaid-

-She loves eating fish so Salty and even sometimes cranky would give her little fish treats for her when she helps them at the docks-

The Little Western Children.
WARNINGS: FANKIDS, MPREG, GENDERFLUID DUCK.

So, with a view that August-November is technically Little Western Season, I thought it would be the perfect time to introduce their au children. So, I'm starting with their first children, as their families will continue to grow.
Donald x Duck:
Donald x Duck were the first to marry and the first to start a family (which, if you count Dilly, they started before officially dating!). Though they would both insist that the decision to have children was an entirely conscious one, there was some awkwardness when it became apparent that Duck (having been raised by the GWR intentionally as a genderless drone with their siblings) didn't know where babies came from until they were actually pregnant!
After this initial embarrassing discovery was dealt with, Duck revelled in their first pregnancy and was determined to be a good mother. With the encouragement and support of other mother engines (Edward, Henrietta, and even James), Duck learned as much as they could about babies and followed Victor's advice to the letter. Though narrowly avoiding a meltdown when they went into labour three weeks early, Donald and Duck were overjoyed by the birth of a healthy daughter, who they named Grace.
Grace's birth was the start of a new wave of pregnancies throughout the Sudrian railways, which included the birth of Duck and Donald's son, Austin, two years later.
In spite of fears that Duck would try and raise them in the GREAT WESTERN WAY, this has not happened. Though both children mimic Duck's famous saying from time to time, it is clear that they are just copying their mother rather than being taught. In fact, Duck has only been insistent that their children will be supported in any gender identity they choose, to spare them from their own struggle.
Grace McIntosh
Grace is the eldest of the Little Western children and often takes charge of her brother and cousins during play. While clearly her Daddy's princess, she looks up to her mother and tries to emulate them. Cheerful and polite to everyone for the most part, Grace does exhibit signs of her father's quick temper if she feels she is being talked down to and is not afraid of making her feelings known. She is also the most observant, having been able to distinguish between her father and uncle from babyhood. Like her brother and cousins, Grace is being raised to speak English and Gaelic, with her often using the latter if worried or upset.
Austin McIntosh
Donald and Duck once remarked that if Austin had been born first, they'd likely have waited much longer before having Grace! Austin is a ball of pure energy and is constantly running around on the latest adventure his mind has come up with. His parents, uncles, and even his sister have often had to chase after him to prevent him from hurting himself, and he is often kept on a harness for his own safety. Despite this, Austin is a charming little boy and very polite if people can keep him still long enough to talk to. Austin looks up to his father and his uncle as heroes, but when it comes to affection, only his mother will do.
Douglas and Oliver:
Unlike their siblings, Douglas and Oliver were not set on starting a family so soon after marrying, though in their case, Oliver was much more clued up on where babies came from. With the birth of Grace, they were happy to enjoy being uncles and the freedoms of being child free.
However, shortly after Austin was born, the two became a little careless, and Oliver fell pregnant. Though with hindsight, both consider that the conception was likely the result of their subconscious desire for a family, they were initially upset by the news. Oliver, in particular, did not have a positive experience with the pregnancy as his sibling did. The additional discovery that they were expecting twin girls was a huge shock for both of them. However, by this time, the couple had accepted that they were going to become a family and simply expanded their plans for two babies instead of one. At any rate, at least they could stop squabbling over names!
Oliver was understandably worried about the birth and the prospect of raising two children right up until he went into labour. But the second he laid eyes on the twins, all doubts left his mind. He and Douglas proved to be devoted and happy parents to their daughters, who are growing like happy, identical little weeds. In fact, the experience has made Oliver open to the possibility of trying for a little brother for his daughters.
Robyn McIntosh
Robyn was named by Douglas and has proven to be a Daddy's girl. She is the smaller twin despite being older (Oliver and Douglas agreed to name the girls alphabetically to avoid arguments) and also the quieter of the two. As a result, she tends to be more empathetic and picks up on moods quicker than her twin does. She likes spending time with her cousins, but especially loves her Uncle Henry's flower garden and is sometimes allowed to help him with smaller gardening tasks. She is remarked to be very much like her father was at her age, being more laid-back.
Scarlett McIntosh
Scarlett, being born second, was named by Oliver and seems to be closer to him. Despite being younger, she is slightly bigger than Robyn, though they still fit in the same clothes. She is also the leader of the two and the most vocal, being far more likely to throw a tantrum than her sister. Under the watchful eyes of her family, Scarlett likes to join Austin on his 'adventures' and is frequently caught climbing things. She was been compared to her uncle, as she is quicker to become upset. She's also why Douglas and Oliver have had to install locks on several things in their bedroom!

Ship child drawing I JUST finished.
Meet Lavender Thomas's and Rosie's Son.
(They are a second ship if Percy and D-10 were a thing and Thomas when with Rosie instead of Percy)
I suck at drawing trains I know ;w;
Some info about this boy-o
Lavender is a mixture of his Mother and Father with his coloring being mixed and his nose as well,He has his mother body shape and some features of his father but he has a extra pair of wheels.
His name is originally Tommy but when the trucks started making fun of his coloring and saying that it's like a girl flower..He took there remarks and ran with it being now called lavender making the trucks feel silly.
He is pretty small but is very useful and quick to react to danger or when he is need for the job,He works on a branch line but he also mostly works at the Narrow Gruge most of the time.
Lavender's personality is Talkative,Cheeky,Generous, Medium headed,has a heart of gold and is a huge sweetie pie but he will get a little rude when someone talks back to him rudely or to his friends and family,He also has issues being too loud with his volume being very loud when he talks sometimes in which he feels embarrassed and as a annoyance but learned that it's just a part of him that makes him who he is.
His number is like his mom but a 1 is added so instead of 37 it's 38,He has a rare condition with his eyes making them a extremely rare color which is purple.
