The Sims 4 to The Sims 3 - LittleDica Rise & Grind Coffeehouse Set

Quite some time ago, I mentioned that a café themed set was on the horizon - here it is now! ☕ Important info and download 💾 below:

About a year ago, I worked on several projects, but many things happened that prevented the release of them. This set was one of them - primarily, I make things for myself and my own use and post later. However, when it came to posting these, some items needed a little extra attention as I wanted them to look a little better, and I ended up adding more than I originally had. It's here now, so it all worked out in the end :) Some of you may have spotted some of these items in my Target set previews 🧐 bonus points to you. Place in: The Sims 3 > Library Collection File - collection file to find the items easy in build/buy mode. Place in: The Sims 3 > Collections > User 🔍 Search: You can search for riverianepondsims, LittleDica, or 2023 to locate the items conveniently using a catalog search mod.

Functional Grinder

Why buying sugar, flour, or any other type of powder, when you can produce it at home? Especially if you rely on your homegrown harvestables it's even better! You save money and produce quality!

This mod adds a functional grinder and 15 different products.

Functional Object:

Three different types of grinder:

Functional Grinder (found under Outdoor Activities, cost 750 simoleons)

Its big, comes in two colors (red and blue) and its the perfect addition for a Farm House.

Modern Grinder (found under Small Appliances, cost 400 simoleons)

This type is perfect for Sims that live in a tiny space, or maybe are City Sims and their apartment can't fit a big grinder, yet they want to produce their own products. This item comes in only one color.

Medieval Grinder (found under decoration, misc and cost 400 simoleons)

You are a history player? Your Sims live in a certain historical period and you need something to fit in? Then this type is for you! (it comes in only one color)

How to use it?

At first when you buy the object opening the picker menu, you will see that it's empty. You need to learn how to grind before being able to see the products. To do this, you need to buy a book and read it.

The book is called 'How to Grind?' and it costs 550 simoleons. Once starting to read, your Sim will recieve a notice that they learned how to grind and can use the machine.

How to Grind?

On the grinder you can produce two types of products (used for cooking or for cosmetics).

You will see two options when pressing on the objects:

'Grind Products' will give you three big bags from this product each can be then filled in 10 small packages (requires 20 ingredients, the screenshot is old!).

'Grind Single Package' will give you three small packages of the product (requires 10 ingredients, the screenshot is old!).

The big products can be enlisted on Plopsy. If you want to use them in cooking you need to fill small packages!

The small packages can be enlisted on Plopsy or used for cooking.

They are compatible with SCCO and Cottage Living!

There are 9 products fit for cooking and 6 products fit for cosmetics.

The only interaction on products fit for cosmetics is that they can be enlisted to Plopsy. MORE INTERACTIONS TO COME! (Planned to be used in the upcoming Oil Distillation Mod)

To make a Potpourri Jar you need to open the Single Package Menu (this is the only exception!) one Jar contains 5 bowls that can be enlisted on Plopsy or used as a decoration, they also emit emotional aura (give +2 flirty buff).

NOTE: Jars with Cosmetics Powder can NOT be dragged in and out of the inventory. If you want to use them as decor in the house, choose to create a single object, like this your Sim won't put it in their inventory.

Ingredients Needed?

All ingredients are optional! If you don't have them, you just need to pay higher price for the product. All harvestable used are my custom harvestables I shared last month.

Stevia Powder (this is sugar, tagged as sugar)

White Sugar

Future Directions:

Add more interactions (functionality) to the cosmetic powders

Add more products

Make the small packages being in use for more than one time
