Hi, my fellow simmers! ♡
Today I’m sharing with you a Family campsite with the newest Sims 4 Little campers kit that I absolutely adore. I tried to build the ideal forest campground in the Sims 4 and it turned out to be super dreamy with all these fairy lights and fireflies over the pond.
In this Sims 4 build, I incorporated a lot of different activities for your Sims family to enjoy, like a tiny Sims tree house, a grill, or an outdoor cinema! So this is both a place for the grown-up Sims to relax and a perfect playground for the Sims kids.

Welcome to Fantasy Forest campground!

TS4 DIARY:
I tweaked the Lost Boys Challenge and made a story.
As part of a fucked up experiment, I placed 6 kids (3 girls, 3 boys) and two nameless, anonymous Observer adult sims on a large plot of land in empty Newcrest. Instead of starting from scratch, I used all the money they already had (34000 simoleons), assuming the people running this experiment were funding it, and created a campground-like living space. This space was off-the grid and they had to recycle their trash constantly. I put up tents, chairs, crafting tables and stuff for the kids, insect and bee boxes, and an iconic tree house. So I created a self-sustaining habitat.
1) I realized that child sims are actually more resourceful and smarter than adult sims
2) I didn't meddle with their values, traits and social relationships to let them to be as independent as possible from my intervention
After the kids became teenagers, the Observers committed suicide (lol) because while watching the children, they began to question their mission and became depressed (or maybe the funders took them out, who knows. shady shit). Anyways I built the teens a house (finally) with 50000 simoleons, again assuming that the people running the experiment funded it. Even though the money they earn is only enough for the day to day, they all have part time jobs, hobbies, dreams and their own personalities. And I am proud of them.
3) They also have traumas and many emotional and psychological problems that they developed autonomously (thanks to the realistic mood and mental health mods I have installed), but this was expected

Granite Falls Campground
Lot Description:
This campground is camping at its finest. With a wide array of things to do, your sim family will have a great vacation in Granite Falls. This lot is toddler friendly and dog friendly so no one gets left behind. The only thing is that there is a woohoo bush and dogs will get into it and get sprayed by a skunk. I thought about removing it but decided not to so you may want to remove it if you bring a dog on your camping trip.

This is my final holiday camping site, The Campsite
It has been play-tested, a good thing because the first trailer I attempted to build was not accessible for my sim so I had to tear it down and start over.
I learned how to do this from @simlicy, she built a trailer in Strangerville (the Conspiracy Theorist’s Trailer Home can be seen on her Youtube channel) that I thought was so cool; I love learning how to build better, so thank you!!
As a camping lover myself, I would have liked to stay in this trailer but my sim used the little blue tent next to the trailer, the whole time. You know there are bears, right? Bears can chew through tent material…. And trailers have hard walls… Just saying.

Camping in Three Lakes
Best friends Betty and Minnie heard that Three Lakes Camping Complex (built by master architect @anotherplumbob) has just opened up so they planned a last minute weekend trip to check it out. Their trip far exceeded their expectations and they had so much to do.
On arrival, the girls pitched their tent to spend a night under the stars at Axe Wood Campgrounds and roasted some marshmallows on the bonfire that evening. The next morning they headed off to the Smooth Rock Spa where the girls really enjoyed relaxing in the hot spring. On their last day they went for a hike through Wallowa National Park and got to check out the amazing views from on top of the Wallowa tower. Hungry and weary after all the hiking they finished the day off with root beer floats and a lovely meal at The Lumber Mill.
That concluded their short trip, they are looking forward to coming back and maybe checking into a cabin next time (Minne in particular didn’t appreciate the bugs).
These amazing lots were made by anotherplumbob (Gallery ID: anotherplumbob) to replace the lots in Granite Falls. Check them out, they’re amazing! The only thing I changed was to add some clutter in pic 1.

Campground Milagros
Description: Campground Milagros is a place for everyone who wants to escape the bustling city life. Located on the beautiful countryside of Windenburg, Campground Milagros is the ideal place for people who love the outdoors. The lush and overgrown area offers a big spectrum of free time activites for both young and old alike. Around the campsite there is a playground for our younger visitors as well as a bonfire next to the big lake which is certainly one of the campground’s biggest highlights. In the community center, you can spend your time with other fellow campers by enjoying a round of darts, a match of basketball or bowling or watching an exciting movie together. If you are more of a wellness person, there is also the possibility to relax next to the pool or draw the day to a close doing yoga during sunset.
Whether you want to rent one of the many caravans or prefer to enjoy to sleep beneath the night sky or in one of the many tents, Milagros will not cease to disappint you.

I got the idea to build a campground when I saw several pictures of people recreating caravans in TS4. I thought it would be awesome to have your sims live on a campground with a lot of other sims who also live in caravans.
I was thinking about if it is possible to somehow simulate some kind of campground gameplay without the game offering non-playable Sims in your family as well as an apartment system outside of SM. But if you create a family with several sims, you can assign the caravans to them by simply locking the door and only allowing the sims that live in this caravan to enter. :-) So it is possible to play as if several sims were living on that campground.
There are still some minor things I would like to change, before the campground is entirely finished. When it’s ready I can add a download link if there happens to be interest. :-) But before that I would have to gather the list of CC I used for this lot (although the CC used for this lot is just single items, so nothing major). I think it would not be to hard to also create a CC-free version though. :-) Just let me know what you prefer.
