I wanted to draw the Hydra from SSA, but didn't really have a will to do something epic with it... So yeah, Hydra and small Kaos that tells it his evil plans >:D

Now, some context: I had a headcanon that Kaos had this Hydra in his family's Castle since he was a kid, and took it away when he left. Ridiculous, I know :))

the more I think about Skylanders, the more I realize how much they changed Eruptor. originally he was characterized as having a short temper and being very hot-headed. but around the time of Giants I think there was a switch to make him more of a goofy character (Imaginators, the spin-off series Academy, etc.), and it kind of makes me wish we got to see more of a moody character in the series.

it also makes me think about how many other characters were tweaked over the course of the games

Free Stars: Children of Infinity Kickstarter launch

The Kickstarter for Pistol Shrimp's Free Stars: Children of Infinity (a direct sequel to 1992's Star Control II: The Ur-Quan Masters) is now open! They got their base funding goal of $100,000 in just a few hours and have already reached two out of fourteen stretch goals as well.

This campaign is light on physical rewards, but there are a sticker sheet, a patch, a pin set, a starmap poster, and a lorebook available! (The map and lorebook are also available as digital rewards.)

If you're interested in the development (and pet birds), check out Dan/Pebby's Twitch channel. He plans to stream Mondays and Wednesdays beginning Wednesday, April 17th while the campaign is running, plus a special closing stream on Friday, May 17th.

If you've never played Star Control II, it's available for free on Steam as Free Stars: The Ur-Quan Masters or on Sourceforge as just The Ur-Quan Masters; or try the also free MegaMod for modern HD graphics and a whole host of tweaks, add-ons, and quality-of-life improvements.
