Was anyone going to tell me that Hiroshi Fujioka, Mr Kamen Rider Ichigo himself, also made an appearance as a stone cold badass in the Tomica Hero: Rescue Force movie as R0, AND was also Segata Sanshiro, the most feared advert character in the 90s for everyone who didnt own a sega saturn, or was I supposed to find that out from a rescue force henshin compilation on youtube all by myself?

I miss them. Rescue Fire has such a Fire (ha) soundtrack that I still listen to today! Gaialeon theme is so good and honestly...
Idk the Rescue series have such a nice message to them as rescuers and as someone who used to work in the medical field....I appreciate them as they are

Here’s my original Toku team. The Insectible Heroes! It originally started with me wanting to redesign the Winged Kuwaga design to make it more distinct and less obvious with its SPD and W influences. I took inspiration from many toku heroes and Super Heroes in general. Viewtiful Joe, Wonderful 101, High School Heroes, and Tomica Hero Rescue Force. Of course, with Dekaranger/Power Rangers SPD and Kamen Rider W. At first, the Brave Beetle was originally Brawn Beetle and later Brain Beetle, but I felt ‘Brave’ fitted better. I used the Rod from Deka Blue’s D-Sniper/SPD Blue’s Deltamax Striker. I even got his skin tone right. Which is something I always fail at. The Green and Yellow Heroes also use the Dekaranger weapons. I was contemplating giving the Green Hero (Lio)'s hat details like I normally do, but I decided against it and left it blank. I had to constantly delete, edit, and re-upload the Pink and Yellow ones due to constant errors. Forgetting the helmets, forgetting to add details on the helmets, etc. And I still forgot the scarf on the Pink hero. Fuck me.
Bonnie and Terrelle are owned by me.
Reed/Ridhuan is owned by himself.
Lio is owned by himself as well.
Laila is owned by SP2233.

Do you have recs of toku with handsome older men?
one of the greatest questions to receive...
firstly you should definitely get into ultraman if you're not already! as a lot of ultra shows will have a handsome defense team captain character. my faves for this are mebius, x, ginga s, and ultra galaxy mega monster battle and its sequel.
the short-lived tomica hero franchise, rescue force and rescue fire, had a similar "team with captain" approach and i'd rec both of those for this too. (well, iwanaga was pretty young during rescue force, but. you'll see.)
best kamen riders for older men likers: showa shows from '71 through stronger for cutest ever mentor tachibana-san, hibiki, fourze...? might seem like kind of a weird pick but i've always been a fan of the villainous school staff, amazons, build.
shows where older miyauchi hiroshi was commander to a hero team: winspector, solbrain, i can't in good conscience tell people to watch ohranger just for him but it's an option.
shows with nakata jouji face performances (i wish there were more of them in this genre bc he served cunt): flashman and liveman, both recommendable for many other reasons too.
and a few other picks off the top of my head: legend hero samgugjeon, a korean toku you can watch on youtube, for dilf of all time wang yun (screentime minimal, sadly). similarly telling people to watch ryusoulger for master black seems silly of me but like... i do love him. and the currently airing dogengers metropolis has hagino takashi as this guy whose deal i don't know yet but i love his vibes.

Ever thought about the non-franchise toku from the 2000's? Like Toho's Seishin trilogy (Gransazer, Justiriser, & Sazer X), or Takara's Ryukendo, & Tomica hero duology (Rescue Force & Rescue Fire)?
Ryukendo is the only one that interests me; I've heard of the others but no-one ever talks about them and I haven't seen anything about them that's interesting to me
