Were you named after anyone?
yes. it’s weird though because i don’t know the actress’s actual name. she was a chinese actress that my mom liked at the time, and when she heard her english name, she liked it so much that she gave me the same name.
When was the last time you cried?
i’ve been watching a lot of dr. mike on youtube recently, and he did a video on the k-drama hospital playlist, which i re-watched yesterday. the scene that made me cry (yet again) was the one where they’re doing chest compressions on a little girl and the mom of the girl sobs, “please, just (stay with me) a little longer.”
Do you have kids?
no
Do you use sarcasm?
weirdly, i’ve started using sarcasm less now than i used to. not sure why. i should get back into it
What’s the first thing you notice about people?
…height? maybe? it depends on what’s most eye-catching, so it’s a case-by-case basis
What’s your eye color?
brown. my mom used to try to convince me it was black, but i can say with full confidence it is brown
Scary movies or happy endings?
good god, give me that happy ending. unless you want me waking up in a cold sweat at 3am every night for a week after watching the scary movie, give me the goddamn happy ending, and please, let it be anything but a thriller or horror
Any special talents?
i’m really good at diving for receives in volleyball. i’m also quick at getting to feints in tennis, even though i am the slowest person you will ever meet

presumably, on earth.
What are your hobbies?
practicing piano, plucking my ukulele, buying books i will never read, drawing stick people on post-it notes and crumpling them up, singing to karaoke at full volume in the shower when i know full well it annoys my little brother, reading fanfic, watching youtube
Have any pets?
no, but i claim aunty rights to my sister-in-law’s two cats, who live in the same house as me
What sports do/have you played?
i did volleyball for many years until band kind of took over my life. i did basketball in elementary. played a bit of tennis with my older brother in summertime. i was in the ping-pong and badminton clubs in high school. does marching band count? most people don’t think it’s intensive enough to be considered a sport, but have you ever marched at 180 bpm in 90+ degree weather down a 4-lane wide main street?
How tall are you?
168 cm. my mom is very proud of my height.
Favorite subject in school?
music theory, band, western music history, history. as you might be able to tell, i was a music nerd. not so much anymore
Dream Job?
a job that pays well, has good benefits, and good people. something i enjoy, but doesn’t have to be a passion or love, just something i like well enough to keep me interested

first of all, thank you for your kind words in your tags! 🥺💕💕 and secondly, to answer your question in the tags, yes, the wip i posted IS fem tobi! it's supposed to be for fem founders weekend which is over for more than a month..... still going to finish it tho. (and tobi is stuck on courier missions bc she's still a child in that scene :))
the mei x tsume fic was supposed to be for femslash february prompt "wild" but uhm... it's way too late for that now, so it'll be a standalone thing. here's a snippet (and actually the only part i have written yet lol):
Mei still remembers her from the Chuunin Exams that took place in Sunagakure over two decades ago.
None of the Konoha teams impressed her back then. At nine, she was far more advanced than any of the other constantans from the five hidden villages, even though they were all much older than her. (But such was life back then in the “Bloody Mist”—only the strong ones’ survived.)
Inuzuka Tsume however, Mei remembers only too well. Wild and rowdy and loud, with none of the grace she was used from other kunoichi, and a puppy at her side more polite than her own brash self. (Looking now at the wolfdog next to her with the eyepatch and an almost menacing grin on face which shouldn’t be possible on a dog, Mei can’t believe that’s the same puppy from all those years ago.)
and the hashi one... uhm... turns out i actually haven't written anything for it? i was sure i did but from the looks of it, i daydreamed everything lol. i do have a synopsis of what the fic is supposed to be (warning - it's canon compliant):
Hashirama walks through Konoha and sees Tobirama smiling to his students and compares it to the stoic way of his childhood. This is what he built the village for: Peace for his brother. And he’s happy he managed it. (Even if now Tobirama turns his new-found sass against Hashirama.)
He thinks of Madara and of how he must’ve felt walking through the streets and missing Izuna and wonders how Hashirama would’ve reacted in his stead, if he would’ve left the village too without Tobirama around to celebrate peace. He doesn’t know—he only knows he never would’ve attacked their dream.
He doesn’t regret killing Madara, but he does regret not saving him before it was too late.
Hashirama dies protecting his brother and the village and he dies contently, hoping he might even make up with his old friend in the Pure Lands. (If he only knew)

Is this my most read/liked/kudos/bookmarked fic. Yes. Is it silly meta about twitter and fandom? Yes. Do I still love it anyways? Yes. You might not know this about me but I'm a sucker for good meta, especially about fandom, especially when it was crack inspired by a musical. Fun fact: I originally intended to write this fic for the Merlin fandom over a decade ago, but never worked up the courage to write fic then.
dearly beloved (haikyuu!! skts, travel fic, sappy af)
This probably borders on purple prose for some people but idc, it has a piece of my soul in it. It's a love letter to sakuatsu, atsumu, and loving someone through the old and the new. (Also I really tried to balance the prose so I think it's pretty banger anyways)

If I told you how many dog-centric fics I have written or still plan to write, well, let's not get into it. I love dogs. I love dogs as a device for getting together in weird, wonderful, fluffy ways, hairballs and all. This one is not based on any media that I know of (original to me—a fair number of my fics are inspired by other things or references to something) so I'm particularly fond of it.
TWO BOYS ON A SHIP (to say nothing of the cat) (dgs/tgaa, asoryuu, fix-it fic, sort of)
Besides the absolute banger title (that, yes, is based on a real book title), this fic is near and dear to me because I had a blast writing it and it was a rare time when pieces of the plot fell into place neatly as I wrote it. Anyways, it's my favorite characterization of Ryuunosuke and Kazuma's relationship, and answers a lot of questions for me that I didn't know I had until I was writing them. I still intend to write the continuation, but that's an entire dgs rewrite, so it's low on the docket for now.
Sorry I don't think I have any other writers I know on here that weren't already tagged (?) or I'm perhaps not mutuals with (excuse my poor memory if otherwise). So go ahead and do it yourself if you want!

ehhhh... my name is the name of a historical figure in serbia, but it's also a very typical serbian name, so i am not really named after anyone per se, my mum just liked it

yes, many. i consider every child i work with at the daycare as my child

i am really fucking good at minigolf even tho i fucking hate it with every fibre of my being. i literally stand there bored to death "when will we be finally done with it?" while hitting most holes in an instant with no problems. (bowling, on the other hand, which is fucking love and try to play as often as financially possible, i am really fucking terrible at. i lose every damn time)

reading, writing, traveling (back when i had the money for it 😭), cooking (-ish? i say i hate cooking but i do it every day anyway even tho i son't have to. i only hate washing the dishes afterward and when the cooking stresses me out when there are too many things to keep an eye on at once, but otherwise i do actually enjoy it), idk meeting with friends and doing stuff... i don't have any special interests tbh

no and i'm pretty sure i don't want any either. i won't allow anything hairy into my flat, and anything else that requires a terrarium or the sorts still needs care and time (and cleaning) and i don't have the time for that. or patience for that matter
What sports do/have you played?
used to do swimming. as in competition. and then i got my first period early and my mum and trainer did not see eye to eye abt that so i didn't go far with it before i gave up on it. no official courses after that. i wanted to do field hockey but a lot of my school bullies were doing that already, so that was a no. considered badminton to learn officially bc i loved to play it leisurely but never did, and that was that tbh...
wait, does dance count? i did hip hop actually when i was 10-ish but i was terrible at it (and still am - zero feeling for rhythm, i can't even jump up and down in synic wth everyone else at metal concerts), so that didn't last long...

210cm :)
Favorite subject in school?
german, history, english (once upon a time french also lmao and then it got more difficult and wow did i lose interest in it real quick)
