Can you give us a description of Ell, Mike and Spirit look? I kinda want to try drawing them!

Ell has a lot of scars. He spent a long time in the Battle Nexus, he spent a long time fighting bad guys, he's spent a long time fighting. He doesn't know how else to deal with things, so he just. Fights to blow off steam. His sais are both still good to use; they're hard to break and he takes good care of them. He definitely jumped in the river after one once, though. He keeps his mask with him at all times as well. He lost his left eye during the Battle Nexus fights. His most significant scar is one right across his chest, deep in his plastron.

Mike doesn't have a whole lot of scars! He does wear clothes now, though. I imagine it's like a hawaiin shirt and some cargo pants. All the pockets are full of things. He has literally everything in his pockets, the man can't not have things in his pockets. He's got snacks, he's got tools, he's got shuriken, he's got hair bands. I imagine he also fell through with his headphones and walkman, which didn't work (it was broken and that's why he was going to visit Donny the night he fell through) until Donnie steals it and fixes it for him and he cries over it a lot. He's also got a single copy of Justice Force and it is the only Justice Force content in the entire Rise Universe. He draws comics a LOT actually, mostly of what he and his brothers did. He tones them down for the kids to read. His most significant scar is on his left forearm, and winds up to nearly his shoulder. He doesn't talk about it.

Spirit is probably the most like Ghost. He has scarring, but not a lot of it. He has a horrible shoulder scar on his left shoulder. (think 03 Leo post-exodus shell scar). I'm contemplating having him be blind, because although it isn't canon for Same As It Never Was, it's been a huge theory that people had because of the glasses (in reality it was just to make him look cool like Neo lmao) but I like the idea of him being at least partially blind, methinks. At the very least his eyesight is very bad. He's got some scarring around them. His most significant scar (other than the shoulder one) is a stab wound at the center of his chest.

Okay, my sibling and I have a rise hc I want to share.

So imagine Big Mama somehow got all (or some) of the other versions of the turtles and shoved them into the Battle Nexus to fight with each other and find out who's the best of the turtles. So like all the Donatello's fight, all of the Raphaels fight, etc.

Donatellos:

They're shoved in and Big Mama announces the rules (including a prize for the winner). All of them start trying to figure out what's going on and how to get out of this place. (everybody's kind of dimension hopped by now, so I don't imagine it taking too long), but then Rise Donnie just immediately attacks all of them in manic glee of proving himself the superior of these Donatellos (I'm imagining the Snow Day scene where Raph says hit me and he comes up behind him with his tech bo "oh, please let me") Obviously he calms down and its more of a funny moment than anything else, but he doesn't know who these turtles are and a trophy or prize for being the "most intelligent and skilled purple turtle" is just too much for him to resist at first.

Leonardos:

Rise Leo is obviously overjoyed at there being more Leos, but then is immediately disappointed that they're all boring. He's pretty good at catching Big Mama's plans so he probably doesn't fall into the temptation, though he is certainly tempted to prove himself the best. After not being taken seriously by the other Leos (they are all probably super confused and disappointed in him, except maybe 87, but 12 especially is just like "why are you like Mikey?"), he decides to prove that he's better by getting them all out safely.

Raphaels:

I think they're all ready to fight, probably coming to blows, though mostly out of butting heads rather than actually playing the game. Rise Raph is the one to calm them down, knowing that they should try and figure out where everyone else is before anything else. The other Raphs are just shocked by Raph's size and appearance. Some of them are jealous but some of them are just in awe. Rise Raph is a little too concerned with finding his brothers to get really worked up about stuff, but he does find how little they are very cute (particularly with 12 and/or 87)

Michelangelos:

They're all just ecstatic about finding each other. They ignore Big Mama entirely and just start bonding over random crap.

So like, if Big Mama kidnapped Lou Jitsu and had him trapped in the Battle Nexus up until DRAXUM kidnapped and mutated him, does that mean human law enforcement has a cold case open for Lou Jitsu's disappearance???

Okay so i think it's WAY funnier and makes way more sense for the Turtles usage of "Big Brother" and "Little Brother" to be ENTIRELY literal.

They were all mutated on the same day at the same time. They're all actually the same age. But Raph is the biggest, so he's the BIG Brother. Donnie and Leo are mid sized, so they're the "middle" children. Mikey is the smallest, and so he's the "little" Brother

And it's ALL Splinter's fault. He started it

Aight i keep seeing this and it's kinda ticking me off so I'm gonna try and change some minds

I've been seeing people site "Late Fee", where Splinter offers to reward the boys with a hug and the boys are enthusiastic and motivated by a hug, as evidence that Splinter is an awful parent

Have you considered that maybe he ACTUALLY raised the boys to just REALLY like hugs????

First, i was raised in a household with a VERY loving mom and a pretty abusive dad. Pulling teeth was easier than trying to get love from dad. But mom gave love like it was going out of style, and she ALSO would offer hugs as rewards for tasks done. I was JUST as enthusiastic as the boys because mom hugs were the BEST, not because i was desperate for them.

Second, the boys are ALWAYS hugging on each other, April, AND Splinter anyways ON SCREEN. It's so obvious that they're a super loving family. Kids don't just pick that up, that's something the adults in their life show them.

Like yeah, i know that Splinter isn't the BEST dad. He can be pretty lazy, but he's also the single parent of FOUR mutant children without any support structures and STILL manages to rarely blow up in anger at the boys (he'll start to get angry, then take a moment to calm down and collect himself), actively practices healthy communication, and regularly compliments the boys and tells them that he loves them. I have SEEN parental neglect and that is NOT IT. It's lazy parenting at WORSE

And before you say "Well Mikey said he doesn't know what Splinter's whiskers feel like!", bruh i think that's just a MIKEY thing. This is the same dude that eats peanut butter with his fingers while his brother has a PEANUT ALLERGY (you and me both Raph, you and me both)
