#me being me#is it a flawless game? nope#does it get a lot of hate for some small things? yep#idk sometimes you read peep's tweets being like 'bro if npc crying shit like 'ur on fire!!' enrages you so mb you should take something#to calm your nerves?'#plus people who hate Atreus for behaving like a regular teen and not a perfectly reasonable person?#like yes sure you the viewer see that everything would be so much better if he just told the truth#but the kid in the game 1) goes through puberty which means his emotions are messed up 2) has not 1 but 2 perents who kept secrets from him#and who learnt his coping mechanisms from Kratos of all people#like you've never gotten into an argument with your parent as a teen? idk bro#i enjoyed both Atreus arc and Atreus gameplay even though I wished there'd be more fun bosses for him to take down#i know that all those tweets comes from people who expected the game to invent a bicycle once again#and in general had super high expectations because people praise gow 2018 sm#but agh i just want to find pretty art to rtw :(

that brahms au for ghost/reader except instead of the burglar breaking in while you're out and encountering Ghost, he breaks in while you're home. and you're so scared and defenceless and suddenly your closet opens and an even bigger, scarier man walks out.
and like if the burglar had a knife or something and was actually threatening to hurt you. Ghost would absolutely lose it on him. he wouldn't be getting out alive, sorry to say. and then after beating him to a pulpy, unmoving mess, Ghost would walk up to you, terrified out of your mind and crying, and pat your cheek, kissing you on the forehead before going back into the closet, closing it quietly behind him.

How dare Game Freak release a set of criminally undercooked games full of incredible Pokémon designs? Seriously I'm over it. I'm not buying any more Pokémon content ever again. Their disdain for their audience is painfully evident in the way that an entire year has passed and the games still look and play the way they do. They're embarrassed though, which doesn't make me feel better but shows that they're at least aware of the games' reputation.
So anyway I love Espathra's design and this was supposed to be an Espathra appreciation post lol. An Espathra will ruin your day without hesitation.

just (shaky hands) idk im kinda excited and a little scared because the first step into my new life is kinda starting today?
i have a job interview in a few hours that i'm trying to prep for and i'm really hoping it goes okay that i can get it and then be set for at least the 6 months (and more as i hope)
i mean, i have all these other ideas as well if this one doesn't work. one door closes, another one opens, i repeat to myself over and over again.
but it feels so weird now. like being trapped in a room for too long that the world beyond feels so vast and overwhelming.
but i have to prove that i can handle myself. that i'll always find a way somehow.
it's not exactly a job i'll be enjoying, but it's at least something that can propel myself forward with whatever else i decide to do.
i'm taking a step into a life for myself. it feels strange to make my own decisions. maybe last summer was just a trial of what these next months would be like bc if it feels much the same. but if i found myself enjoying last summer, then maybe these next few months will be a blessing
i hope so anyways.
