On my hands and knees begging writeblr blogs to activate their blog’s custom theme to a) make permalinks easier to find and b) ensure their blog archive is accessible.
#not whump#writeblr#tumblr#tungle dot hell#just went through updating my recc post links and like. half of them aren’t permalinks. pain.#if you’ve made a masterpost post-early 2023 the links are so fucked y’all#some are at.tumblr.blogname. some are tumblr.com/blogname. and the permalinks are blogname.tumblr.com.#the at.tumblr links suck the most bc a) I don’t think they’re automatically in use anymore anyway and b) they redirect from the mobile app#to a browser app like T-T I’m trying sooo hard to read I swear but it’s such a struggle sometimes#also re:custome theme is how you get the proper blogname.tumblr.com links whereas without it yours stuck w whatever the hell tumblr changes#their automatic links to. which sucks. go turn on your custome blog theme. you don’t have to actually make one just do it pls. for my sanity#while your at it disabled your blog for third party sharing. least you can do to discourage scrapers.
