hobbies: drawing/sketching, watching films and series, reading, playing board games (though not so much lately)
favourite coulor: i can’t really say i have one, they are all so beautiful and i think i haven’t seen them all yet. (but if i was at gun point i’d say white)
favourite book: there are not many books i re-read, other than the Harry Potter series because i read them to my then baby sister. i love all of them and they are my coming of age companions. but there are so many other books i love! Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, Os Maias by Eça de Queiroz, The Perks of being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, As intermitências da morte by José Saramago, Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy, The Metamorphosis by Kafka are amongst my favourites.
the Last song I listened to: Slow Show by The National (this year i found a new meaning for this song. it is now hope. hope that one day i can say “you know I dreamed about you for twenty-nine years before I saw you” to the one i love)
last film I watched: Tall Girl streamed on Netflix with my sister over the weekend. good concept, a little poorly executed if you ask me, but funny and light overall. last cinema movie was A Herdade (The Domain) by Tiago Guedes. i liked it a lot! the film tells the story of a family, spanning through ~50 years of life in a portuguese homestead through the changes from a dictatorship to a free republic. it’s funny and yet deep. it’s been a week since i saw it and i’m not over it yet.
inspiration for Muse: everything can inspire me a little. my tumblr dash is certainly a place i come daily for inspiration. people, nature, life — their colours and sounds, the feel of the cold wind or the warmth of the orange sun on my skin. my sister is a big inspiration too. she is, like all of us, flawed, but she keeps trying to be better, to learn more, to be more mindful, to protect the world as well as herself. i learn from her a lot and i hope i can continue to see her grow! chanyeol is also an inspiration to me. the fact that he continues to wear his heart out on his sleeve, unafraid and unapologetically himself, despite the harsh word we live in. i wanna be as brave as him and confident in myself to do that (again). i want to learn with him to be lighter towards myself and simultaneously continue to feel deeply and fully with all my heart can muster.
dream job - as a kid i used to say i wanted to be an astronaut and a ballerina. that kid is now a full grown woman, neither a dancer, nor an astronaut. art is part of my day, everyday: music, drawing, photography, literature or cinema. but as hobbies only. i still love science and i’m working to became a better researcher. not sure that is my dream job yet, but i’ll keep you posted ;)
meaning behind my blog name: heartcravings~ pretty self explanatory i think. everything my heart craves ends up in here. this is my personal blog, my safe haven. almost like a diary once. now over took by exo, but still very much my own craves.
