What are your thoughts of the Linh Tam Tiergan Wylie family?

Thank you, that's kind of you :). The solreef family is one of my favorite groups/dynamics in the series, though we don't really get to see it (which does mean some of what I enjoy is outside of canon).

There's something so comforting about a group of people thrown together through circumstance, who have nowhere else to go so end up with each other. Who' understand each other in a way other characters don't, even if they're not close. Who's past experiences create a unique level of understanding between them

Tiergan doesn't have nowhere else to go like the others, but the opening his home? The providing a safe, constant space for those who don't have that? Choosing to care makes me feral !!

Linh and Tam as people stigmatized and thrown out who've always had to fend for themselves suddenly discovering people in their corner? People who give shelter, stability, care with no strings attached? People who know what it is to be stared at, a spectacle, infamous?

Wylie as someone with his entire world torn from under his feet building a close-knit group around him again? Slowly letting others in and letting himself trust and enjoy it without being terrified to lose it again? Serving as living proof that you can survive, that you can get through it, a lighthouse in the storm.

They're such an eclectic group of people thrown together by such unique circumstances, and yet despite that there is so much understanding and recognition of the self through the other with them. And that kind of bond has so much appeal and potential, such intensity and depth
