In response to “Proship Ask Meme” post. 4) a ship you think is fairly healthy and unproblematic but the fandom has decided to hate?

Well, obviously Thomas x Sides in general. But of course you have your people who actively hate it. I’m not sure why. Idk how it’s any different from shipping the sides amongst each other.  Logicality. I know it gets some “it’s toxic” rhetoric.  Moxiety. I don’t ship it but I think it gets some unfair treatment.  And the one that’s gonna piss people off: ThE fOrBidDeN cHrIsTmAs ShIp!!!  This is a really difficult question to answer properly because all the ships are completely capable of their problems, but I support them anyway. All ships in any fandom, if you ask me, are completely capable of their problems. Even in real life, it’s like that. It’s a matter of how you work through the problems that makes it either healthy or unhealthy. And everything I’ve seen in *canon*, to me, says that these characters are capable and willing to work through their problems. Meaning they have the capacity for healthy relationships.

Oho. It’s time to get controversial!!!  Consensual non-con is a lot of fun. I get why people don’t like it. But I think it’s a blast. I like skipping aftercare ONLY if it makes sense. I know why it’s bad and I’d never want that for anyone in real life. But imo Remus doesn’t like it. He doesn’t want aftercare. I’m also a big fan- again, when it comes to Remus- of very violent sex. Not necessarily with Thomas because Tommy is a Softe Boi but otherwise... yeah :D
