My birthday was not over yet. 😆 See, after celebrating on the boat, I decided to have dinner with some of my new friends at: 🥘 Maqam Al Sultan restaurant (@maqamalsultan ) The food was delicious! But the highlight for me was the belly dancing. I’ve always wanted to be a belly dancer 😆. The second image is a picture of some of the starters we had : 1️⃣ Sambousek Lahme : Lebanese pastries 🥮, filled with sautéed minced lamb, beef, and onions 🧅. 2️⃣ Muhammara : Grilled sweet red pepper 🌶 , crushed walnuts, olive oil, paprika, and Lebanese herbs 🌿 ……………………………. After dinner, my friends then took me to: 🍸 Joel (@joel_drinkery ) A fabulous bar that is decorated in a way that takes you back to the roaring 1920’s. Their drinks are exceptional and from my understanding they even have live jazz music on certain nights. ………………………. Even though I went to Cyprus to spend my birthday solo, I was blessed to have made great new friends all throughout this trip. They really came through to help me celebrate this past birthday!! I’m currently going through many changes personally and professionally. At the core of it all, I’m also realizing I’ll soon have to make a decision to marry the two. In the past, I’ve harped on the power of manifestation and the idea that “if you change your mind, you can change the outcome.” I’m living proof of this, as are many who have encountered many blessings along their personal journeys. Your wins may not be like everyone else’s, but they’re yours to own. And most importantly, they matter; even the smallest feats matter.
