Notable mention: the thick golden and black markers I've used in these last two pieces are ~grave inscription fixing markers~ bc I'm this edgy (kidding, they're just really good markers).

Notable mention 2: for someone who loves drawing eyes and absolutely hates drawing hands the hand-eye ratio so far is 7-0 (6-0 if we're not counting the skeleton hand and the eyes here that are closed). I have left my comfort zone and never looked back (and for that, THANK YOU AGAIN, LEVYNN!!!)

musings on insects, isolation, and how much can change when you're not looking

#i started this like a month ago #and finished it today because i was laughing at how much the sentence 'i'm going bug hunting with my partner' would kill pre-college me #but yeah. i'm still learning to accept that i'm not alone anymore.#learning to love insects was easy. it's a lot harder to learn to love myself #in the wise words of a fic my friend wrote: it sucks so bad sometimes. but even when it sucks it's better.#personal #insects #also all of the scenes in the middle two pages are specific memories that have contributed the most to why neither of those things are true #1. meeting my partner in an entomology class i took on a whim #2. the fateful 8 hour dnd conversation on a field trip for that class that started our friendship #3. trip to a museum (i also could have drawn the part of that trup where i got to hold a cockroach but i don't have a picture of it)#(and i really like that picture of her)#4. seeing a cockroach on the way to class and both of us yelling 'oh my god a little guy!'#5. working at an insect collection together (oh god the things our boss has probably heard)#6. seeing a boxelder bug on the way to see a movie together (we always saw insects when we spent time together)#7. seeing fireflies for the first time when i visited her over the summer :D

it’s finally getting cold enough that i can bring my cardigan collection back into rotation without feeling like i’m gonna melt into a puddle the second i step outside!!!

#Seven.txt #my face #i have rematerialized back out of the void to once again make my once-in-a-blue-moon selfie & life update post #i’m running on 4 hours of restless sleep and the single banana i ate for lunch earlier today. let’s do this #hrrrrg i hate the lighting in my bathroom but i refuse to take pictures in the absolute Mental Illness Disaster Zone™️ that is my bedroom #anyways. got diagnosed with Mystery Pain Syndrome at the dentist today. so now i take ✨steroids✨#the less funny explanation is that my tooth still hurts with pressure nearly a month post-root canal and That’s Not Good #so we’re trying some new medications to see if that fixes it. and if not then who knows. root canal pt.2 the sequel. or extraction. sigh #and so the Dental Saga continues. todays visit went quite well in spite of the unforeseen mystery pain delaying the tooth-shaving plans #we had some time to kill so he managed to fill some of my other tiny cavities while i was there today so that’s good #okay moving on. what else. uhh. Bullet turned 10! my 6 year Veganniversary happened! i’m approaching 700 days on DuoLingo!#i’ve written more than 20 thousand words! i’ve been facing some fears! fighting my OCD! taking care of myself! #that was probably the worst i have physically felt. in a LONG while #took a nap once i came home and i felt even worse afterwards #the headache was fuckig killing me i swear #my body felt so SO weak after waking up because i haven't ate or drank for like. 11 hours #fuck these contests but also. that little girl who wanted to take a picture with me. me who looked so tired and was barely walking #after wearing high heels for almost 2 hours #that was so nice. children can be so nice in the needed moment. thank you little girl for helping me feel at least somewhat better about it #and the other people who complimented me and my efforts. you don't understand how much i needed that #sorry for dumping i just. needed to express this more as i was suffering today #i did get cookies for myself afterwards though. a treat for my efforts :3 #yomoposting

the side effects of experiencing all this funeral stuff from this up close is honestly that im just starting to plan my own funeral in my head to entertain myself and it also kinda stopped me from being suicidal because i realised no one but me could do it right

#obv i cant kill myself now because that would completely destroy my mother but also because she'd give me catholic funeral #and that would honestly make me come back from the dead just so i could kms again #anyway the real ones will come to my funeral dressed in pink <3 and no open casket unless they really manage to make me look fabulous #i want rainbow flowers (with green carnations!) and i want it to be a met gala level fashion show dont yall dare wear boring black outfits #i want mozart to play and no catholic priests allowed. if a catholic priest tries to go near me all guests should get together to kill him #also saw a grave of some 16y/o girl apparently obsessed with h/arry p/otter today and as much as i hate HP it was AWESOME #she had a bunch of little funko pops figures there and even a hp candle #and there was obv a cross with jesus on it but he had that little ball with wings on a translucent thread tied to his hand lol #and there was also a framed picture of her and her friends goofing off and pointing their middle fingers at the camera and like. yeah #obv very sad but this is the kind of grave id like. obv not with fucking hp 💀 but i feel so fucking uncomfortable with the thought #that people might come to my grave and be all solemn and cry and make a big deal out of it like plz ffs dont #i mean obv i wouldnt be uncomfortable cause id be. well. dead. but if my funeral is boring and/or catholic then fuck this im just not dying

#had so many fun interactions today and also learnt how to group taunt :3 baby's first kazotsky kick #i'm a pyro main usually but since everyone was fucking around i decided to switch to medic to see how it is and had not one but TWO heavies #call for me and then killbind/explode upon reaching a certain point. one of them even head an enemy intel and was a-posing the entire time #<a-posing and spinning! even #we got to the intel room and he just turned back. went upstrairs. started eating a banana and then killbinded. never change heavies i love #you. the other one did the go kart taunt and then tried to taunt kill me?? we were on the same team. well and then he exploded #i already mentioned pyro sewer party that was super cute :3 also like my first group interaction. special moment not to get cheesy #AND. and. yet another heavy with a wilson weave tried to teach me how to group taunt. like y'know. do the conga together #<i was convinced i couldn't do it since i didn't have it unlocked and stuff but i could!!! thank you heavy :]#i hope they was me eventually figure it out. had no way to check since they were on the enemy team and that doesn't display names #sorry about the wall of text i'm just!!!! well i just had a lot of fun :]#people also kept standing in those little towers? like y'know blu team player jumps on a red player and then a blu jumps on top of that one #and bam. tower right. there was also one pyro who had the minion fit AND the sign with a minion picture as well #i'll never get those people who make those 'strange people of 2fort videos' like the fuck you mean strange. they're so fun #GOSH. sorry about the wall of text again anyways um. download the game and play on 2fort ok? super fun
