#this is massive because i didn't know how to bring such a complex subject into a concise post haha

hii :3 🔬🔥📺🪡
Hello!! 🥰❤️ Thank you for the ask!
🔬The fic you had to make the most research for?
Hmm I spent a good while trying to find information on the Helsinki Skywheel for 'The Edge of Us" haha. I was originally gonna have them sucking dick in a normal box then saw photos and realised that wouldn't work, then was trying to find out how long it took, how much the sauna box cost (a lot, hence why I ended up just making Jere get a free pass lol) the capacity, etc.
(editing cuz I forgot to mention the next part is the vampire fic hahaha)
I also started doing research on arteries and blood flow etc when I had Jan biting Bojan's thigh but I kinda didn't wanna hear it in case it wasn't feasible hahaha 😂 Cuz by god I was keeping the thigh biting even if it killed him.
But overall I don't really do a massive amount of research, because for the most part there's not a whole lot going on to research outside of the band and I fear I know too much information on that lol.
🔥 Hottest fic you ever written?
I think either "The edge of us" or "The camera speaks the truth that I couldn't" because they're both like pure spice.
TEOU is literally just constant spicy content, like they're turned on and doing sexual stuff for the entire fic.
TCSTTTIC isn't as spicy overall but personally I think the smut was probably the hottest I've written in some ways, in terms of the setting.
Of course hotness is so subjective so other people might have other ideas, I'd actually be interested to know what ones people thought are hottest! Sometimes it surprises me in the comments what jumps out at people haha!
🪡 The scene you worked the hardest on in any fic?
Ooh this is a hard one cuz different scenes have been hard for different reasons!
In terms of smut the bokrisjan threesome felt like a massive endeavour both cuz it was just so much smut (smut mechanics are so tedious sometimes I'm running out of ways to describe the male orgasm) especially with the added logistics of keeping track of three people. And also it's the most emotionally driven smut I've written and I was trying to get those emotions across.
I also found the last chapter of 'Come play with your food, bejbi' a little tricky because it's so dialogue heavy and that dialogue was basically a lesson in vampire lore haha. So I was trying to make that interesting and dynamic, and decide how much I wanted to talk about. Also navigating Bojan's emotions was kinda hard cuz they were quite overwhelming and mixed and how does one react in that situation and also calm down in a decent amount of time? Also it's such a cheesy trope-y thing and I was aware of that and trying to balance it out 😂
Overall I probably work hardest on Distortion because it's by far the most plot heavy and the most complex emotion-wise.
📺 Any references to other media that you put in your fics?
I can't think of any, but I'm sure there's maybe a throwaway reference to a film or song or something somewhere that I'm forgetting haha!
I think overall I try not to really bring outside media into my fics, I kinda like feeling like their world is it's own little bubble or something? Maybe I'll have Bojan dress up as Will Turner at some point as a nod to my crippling first TV crush and the fact that I so have a type in men hahaha.

Like I know I've seen run across my own dash about how fallout games (particularly fallout 3, fallout new vegas, fallout 4, and fallout 76) have a massive problem with not only the game mechanics of Shooting Is The Conflict Resolution King and Problems That Are Supposed To Be Tense And Complicated Parlays Of Avoiding A Firefight Are Simplified With Bullets, and also with it's terrible (mid at best but not handing it to them) handling of nationalism (particularly from a white narrative), and like....
The handling of the apocalypse part also I feel like needs to be talked about too...in the sense that I feel like it's not talked about enough.
From the visual design to the aspect of The Fear of Losing It All to not having a narrative that focuses on characters' experiences of a world going through another apocalypse because their people already went through and continually went through colonization and genocide up until bombs fell
which...lightly and flatly put, was already there by how the series lands its allegory, just not really brought up because the focus of course didn't want to bring that up
...but...it actually still is part of the focus, considering the locations, symbolism, tales and hints of american imperialism's "golden" age being set roughly around the time a lot of shit was going on irl that was either hinted fictionally or was entirely taken out for the sole purpose of that focus while also showing how willfully ignorant the people in these awfully made suburban areas were, and that, even if there was one or two that were fully fucking aware of how "war never changes" (tbh I hate that fucking line nowadays), that they too are just...not even considering their house is sitting on a pool of blood from a peole they colonized, conquered, and continued to kill
and while you can create a character and headcanon them with such a background that makes any of these games more complex in story (or as much as you can make it complex for how...subjectively flat and dull some to most of the complexities are in these games), it still would more than likely leave your character asking the question "where is everybody [like me]?"
I guess what i'm trying to state in all of this is that the telling of The or A apocalypse in video games really needs to get out of the mindset of "it only happened once to everyone around the world and that's where the complex stuff about surviving the End of The World truly begins", and start putting in--if not fully about--the complexities, allegories, and experiences of people who had to survive a second apocalypse that might be worse than the last but nevertheless happened a second time that was ultimately devastating.
Also, make that story un-fucking-comfortable for a myriad of writing reasons.

Hi, how are you our beloved lady? I hope ur doing good. I want to know your opinion to mbti stuff. What do you think about that? And what do you think about Beatles mbti stuff?
Tulip!!! How are you? I am so sorry it took me this long to answer- I could not figure out the best way to present the information for this ask or what would be the best information *to* share. I actually *love* MBTI, I think it’s fascinating. It really helps you understand yourself and others better. As far as the Beatles, there is a lot of debate about their types, but I have compiled a list of the most commonly accepted type for each Beatle with a break down below the cut!
John: INFP, “the Healer” (function stack: Fi-Ne-Si-Te) or ENFP “the Champion” (function stack: Ne-Fi-Te-Si)
A concise picture: generous, kind, charming, empathetic, sensitive, perceptive, strong personal values, introspective, imaginative, idealistic, individualistic, lively, spontaneous, adaptable, big picture, forward looking, long term oriented  // can be impractical, disorganized, tendency to overthink, easily offended, disregard for rules/traditions/norms
Paul: ISFP, “the Composer” (function stack: Fi-Se-Ni-Te) or ESFJ “the Provider” (function stack: Fe-Si-Ne-Ti)
A concise picture: kind, charming, warm, caretaker, sympathetic, sensitive, observant, reserved, practical, level-headed, “live in the moment”, sensory based, detail oriented, action oriented, strong sense of “right & wrong”, curious, competitive, literal // easily bored, thrill-seeking, unpredictable, “black & white”, short term oriented, intensely private, detached, aloof, fiercely independent, can be inflexible, worried with social-status
George: INFJ, “the Counselor” (function stack: Ni-Fe-Ti-Se)
A concise picture: altruistic, affirming, nurturing, compassionate, empathetic, sensitive, perceptive, strong personal values, introspective, visionary, idealistic, individualistic, seeking meaning, insightful, big picture, forward looking, long term oriented, value organization, decisive, reserved, firm // intensely private, deeply sensitive, perfectionists- prone to burn out, overthinking, need for a cause, uncompromising
Ringo: ESFP, “the Performer” (function stack: Se-Fi-Te-Ni)
A concise picture: generous, kind, charming, warm, sympathetic, friendly, easy-going, observant, practical, tolerant, accepting, spontaneous, playful, enthusiastic, resourceful, adaptable, “live in the moment”, sensory based, action oriented, strong sense of “right & wrong”, literal // easily bored, thrill-seeking, unpredictable, “black & white”, short term oriented, frivolous, materialistic, deeply sensitive, conflict averse
Note: MBTI code is comprised of four functions: iNtuition or Sensing, Feeling or Thinking. Intuition and sensing are perceiving functions: how you gather and assimilate data. Feeling and thinking are judging functions: how you use that information to make decisions. Each of these functions can either be Introverted (introspective, self-reflective, subjective) or Extraverted (objective, facing the outer world, expressed outwardly); for example, Introverted Feeling= Fi, Extraverted iNtuition= Ne, etc.
John: INFP, “the Healer” (function stack: Fi-Ne-Si-Te) or ENFP “the Champion” (function stack: Ne-Fi-Te-Si)
Both are very convincing. As you can imagine, these two types are very similar and their differences are more like nuances. It probably comes as no surprise that XNFP are known to be “dreamers” who act as mediators amongst people, desire harmony and look toward the future and see endless possibilities. This combination of being iNtuitive + Feeling dominant makes for a very empathetic subject who has a knack for reading between the lines; they both understand human emotion and relate to others well, but on the flip side, they can be hotheaded and quick to take offense: both for themselves and others. At the core of both, these types have strong moral values and use value judgements to make decisions, i.e. "this is good this is bad". They use their Ne/Ni absorb information from the meanings and impressions they gather and search for patterns in data to quickly see the bigger picture, and then use emotions to make decisions based around that. Though they are XNFP are generally open minded and adaptable, when their personal values are called into question, they sense injustice, they sense inauthenticity, or if someone tries to control them is when they can become upset. They do not like to be limited because they desire freedom, options, and don’t like redundancy. Communication style is likely to be abstract, metaphorical. Though they crave close connections, they become drained from social interaction. Depending on whether INFP or ENFP, there are subtle differences. For example, ENFP leads with Ne, meaning, they may be quicker to materialize their ideas (the more spontaneous of the two), whereas the INFP will spend more time reflecting "what if" before doing. This bleeds into other aspects; ENFP may be more lively, spouting things off the top of their heads without reflecting, they're a people's person. INFP is a little more introspective before diving head first and spilling everything. XNFP tend to constantly assess their value and desire validation.
(I did see people throw John around as an INTP/ENTP. They’re mildly convincing, but much less likely. His Fe/Fi seems too present to be a Te/Ti)
Paul: ISFP, “the Composer” (function stack: Fi-Se-Ni-Te) or ESFJ “the Provider” (function stack: Fe-Si-Ne-Ti)
Both are very convincing. These literally have the *exact same* function stack order, but the energy of each function points in different directions (which ultimately does make a difference even though it may not seem like it). With both of these types, we typically see someone who is observant, practical, and very rooted in the present. This combination of Sensing + Feeling dominant makes for a very caring individual who both enjoys and is good at nurturing others, but on the flip side, they can be quick to take offense and may shut down/withdraw. XSFX types are known for being reserved with their emotions/needs and likewise reserved in showing emotion and tend to do so through their actions, rather than words. At the core of both, just as with other feeler-types, they have strong moral values and use value judgements to make decisions, i.e. "this is good this is bad". However, they use their Se/Si to observe and absorb information through their physical reality, often referencing from past experiences to fill in the details in order to build the bigger picture, and then use emotions to make decisions based around that. Though both types are generally seen as level-headed and adaptable, when their personal values or character are called into question (because they have a very clear picture of their values; they know who they are) or their good-nature is taken advantage of is when they can become upset. They do not like to be limited because they prefer to be in control and do not like uncertainty. Communication style is likely to be direct, literal. While ESFJ love bringing people together and ISFP may enjoy small groups & close connections, they both become drained from social interaction. Depending on whether ISFP or ESFJ there are subtle differences, the most apparent being that ESFJ prefer more structure than ISFP, and likewise, the ISFP may be a little more spontaneous as they seek to stimulate their Se. ESFJ will also likely be a bit more outgoing with Fe being in play as their dominant trait, whereas the ISFP may be more socially reserved (Fi), though no less charming or socially aware. They both have a knack for understanding what is expected of them but ISFP is less likely to bend for others whereas the ESFJ seeks group harmony. Both types tend to put others first and are reluctant to ask for their needs, and in combination with simultaneously being sure of their values and sure others understand those without question, they may have a heightened desire for praise to validate their actions & themselves. Both types often don't feel seen for the amount of care they put in for others and desire to be appreciated.
(Fun thing I saw mentioned a lot and felt relative to Paul: ISFP are said to enjoy aesthetic beauty of things- clothing, art, etc. without needing the abstract meaning to make it so; they just simply like it for what it is. This is likely because their Se is grabbing for anything stimulating and then introverted Feeling (Fi) says “oh yes, this makes me feel good!” Can we say hello MMT sweater vest?)
George: INFJ, “the Counselor” (function stack: Ni-Fe-Ti-Se)
As you can imagine, INFJ is going to be similar to XNFP on the surface: dreamy, idealistic, empathetic. What sets them apart is that INFJ tend to have a bit more structure and a little bit more of an analytical mind. The combination of being iNtuitive + Feeling dominant is going to still give that very empathetic subject who has a knack for reading between the line, but there is a subtle difference with INFP's mirroring others emotions (Fi) and INFJ's absorbing others emotions (Fe). INFJ understand human emotion and relate to others well, but on the flip side, they can become angry when someone upsets group harmony or overwhelmed from constantly assessing emotions. At the core of INFJ, just as with the other feeler-types, they have strong moral values and use value judgements to make decisions, i.e. "this is good this is bad". They absorb information from the meanings and impressions they gather and search for patterns in data to see the bigger picture and use emotions to make decisions based around that. Though they are generally open minded and adaptable, when their personal values are called into question, they sense injustice, or if someone dismisses their ideas they can become upset. While they enjoy freedom to explore many possibilities, they do well with a bit of routine and organization to help see their ideas through. Communication style is likely to be abstract, metaphorical. Though they crave close connections, they become drained from social interaction. INFJ's often feel like people don't get them and desire to be understood.
Ringo: ESFP, “the Performer” (function stack: Se-Fi-Te-Ni)
ESFP is a beautiful blend of all the cognitive functions and that's why it's often labeled at the "entertainer" type. They're practical, but not rigid; they’re bubbly, but they’re deep; they’re spontaneous, but they’re down to earth; they’re honest, but not too blunt; they’re just all around the kind of people who can bring people together. The combination of Sensing + Feeling dominant makes for a very caring individual who is warm towards others and overall inviting, but on the flip side, they can be quick to take offense and may erupt or shut down. At the core of ESFP, just as with the other feeler-types, they have strong moral values and use value judgements to make decisions, i.e. "this is good this is bad". They use their Se/Si to observe and absorb information through their physical reality, often referencing from past experiences to fill in the details in order to build the bigger picture, and then use emotions to make decisions based around that. Though generally seen as one of the most easy-going types, when their feelings are dismissed or their general exuberance is mistaken for shallowness, they're forced to make decisions, or they find themselves stuck amongst negativity is when they might become upset. They do not like to be limited because they desire freedom and dislike rigorous routine. Communication style is likely to be direct, literal- to be clear, too much abstract information might drive an ESFP crazy, and unlike some of the other Sensor types- do not like too many details. ESFP are social by nature and find socializing fulfilling.
How this applies to their relationship dynamic:
This is my favorite part and if you’ve read this far- please like go treat yourself for your good work. Not only do the general stereotypes of their personalities fit them so well, but it literally shows just how real the contrast of John & Paul and Paul & George is and how similar John & George are.
But mainly, I just want to focus on J/P because I. fucking. love. it. Just think about it. John: Strawberry Fields. Paul: Penny Lane. SAME concept- ENTIRELY DIFFERENT STYLE. Intuition vs sensing at its finest. It’s clear as day. (wonderful video by one of my favorite MBTI youtubers, appropriately titled: Intuition vs Sensing, Explained with The Beatles)
Not only that, but I always think back to Geoff Emerick’s biography when I was reading about their work in the studio:
“John always had plenty of ideas about how he wanted his songs to sound’ he knew in his mind what he wanted to hear. The problem was that, unlike Paul, he had a great difficulty expressing those thoughts in anything but the most abstract terms. Whereas Paul might say, ‘This song needs brass and timpani,’ John’s direction might be more like ‘Give me the feel of James Dean gunning his motorcycle down a highway.’ ”
“In the midst of all this, John had been listening repeatedly to his acetate of ‘Strawberry Fields Forever,’ and he decided he didn’t like it. For someone who was normally so articulate, it always amaze me how he would struggle for words whenever he tried to Tell George Martin how he wanted a song arrange. This time around, he just kept mumbling, ‘I don’t know. I just think it should somehow be heavier.’ ‘Heavier how, John?’ George asked. ‘I dunno, just kind of, y’know…heavy.’ Paul did his best to translate John’s abstract notion into concrete musical form. Pointing out how well the flue sound on the Mellotron had worked, he suggested that perhaps some outside musicians be brought in, that the song be scored for some orchestral instrumentation. John loved the idea, specifically requesting cellos and trumpets.”
Furthermore, this entire paragraph that I don’t feel like typing out:
Tumblr media
God, I could seriously just go ON about those two. Honestly, Geoff’s book has been incredibly insightful to their nature (pretty sure this book is responsible for when I started falling *in love* with Paul). There are tons of examples to go with the MBTI typing, but I realize this is already at great length so I’ll refrain.
Now that I’ve nearly written a whole book, I’d like to say some words: this is by no means an all inclusive or exhaustive review of MBTI & I am no expert. There are so many other facets of MBTI that go much deeper than this, but I felt for the purpose of general explaining, it made most sense to stay at surface level (which incidentally made me feel like i’m providing a useless analysis). Hope you learned even a little bit or got some sort of fun out of it!
If you have specific questions, feel free to ask and I’ll try and make sense of the MBTI madness!

Brothers anon and ah, its just me than. Links on tumblr break half the time for me sorry bout that!
1: Mostly how it looks in the actual episode but with some changes. Its gaint, even has multiple floors, most rooms have a glass dome roof with iron railings (3-4) lining the bottom of the glass. The hallway typically have windows leading up to the roof, but the roof and both floor are a mix of materials like iron, copper, wood, and even gold. The most complex room is the Council room, which has a a higher roof than the rest, with mostly wood railings that go all the way up and lead to a circle at the top. The Council is the group that leads Mizu, they have 1 leader of every Idol to represent the different opinions of the citizens, with 1 special member that doesnt belong to any Idol, and is instead used to represent the opinions of people who either haven't chosen a idol yet, got kicked out of a idol following, and just to give a unbiased opinion most of the time. They do make most decisions, mostly those relating to topics like construction, farming, money distribution, where people can live, etc. And they also mostly agree on most subjects and don't agure, but they do have massive disagreements on topics and problems like Representation in other Cities/Kingdoms, trading, visitors and immigrants, and sometimes supply missions.
3: Situations like taking care of his siblings (I have decided Benjamin shall have siblings) and friends, and he was also put under extreme stress as a kid in school and family life, but unlike Ranbob, he managed to successfully communicate his struggle and find coping mechanisms. Also when he went off to live by himself for a bit, he was under sudden extreme situations where he had to make split second decision. So he just learned from everything thats happened to him over time.
8: Levi exists purely to make Watson and others go insane. People claimed it was made up because they claimed most events as unrealistic (like Doomsday, Techno escaping a death trial, Pandoras Vault (they believed it impossible for something to be inescapable)). Plus the fact it seemed cruel such young people where faced with such trauma that no sane person would let it happen, and the fact most historical important items couldn't be found, people claiming that they where made up (also cause if the land was that exposed to such devastation, it would've collapsed on itself). No to both of those, by this point their to far away from Dream for him to have a direct meaningful affect on the group, and while the residents of Kelalen know it was Dreams sword, the group does not know. Nope! Mizu came about years after Kelalen was forgotten about and shamed. And Mizu was only made because of the growing number of believers in the SMP history was causing disruptions in both the political sense and educational sense, so it was made to separate the "outcasts". Though Mizu eventually grew as big as most cities, and greatly civilized and advanced, though they where still often "forgotten" about and basically seperate from the Kingdom that set them up and became their own place (though not officially).
They do have a friendship! Its not super close but their definitely friends. Ranbob is definitely a worrier, he heard that two of his friends almost died he immediately goes to them and fuses over them. And when their recovering he doesnt leave their side, infact Benjamin has to drag him away from the two just to get him to eat. And he refuses to sleep unless he's like directly on top of them. Yeah, Cletus challenges Grievous to a parkour challenge over a Delta Basalt, and he happily accepts. They end up giving everyone a heart attack after Cletus slips and almost falls onto a magma block. Jackie plays in soul sand and dumps a handful down Rans shirt, Watson teaches Charles and Isaac how to make gold from gold nuggets and more Piglin culture. When Cletus is cleared to be ok and Jackie stops getting soul sand in areas he didn't even know existed. They all sit in a circle and decide what they should try first, with Ran and Watson watching carefully and preventing them from drinking anything that they recognized as harmful. But other than that they just let the others do whatever.
10: Because he couldn't use it, when Dream was a full human he used to be able to access his powers at his own will. But after his spirit got linked to his mask his power greatly reduced. To the point he relies on others for his powers, more specifically, he needs them to be exposed to him for a certain amount of time (like 2 weeks) until he can use their own essence/spirit to help his powers. When the group of people came after Ranbob left, they stayed for a long time, especially after they took the mask with them. Dream got the power back. Cause it is a "I worked to hard to give this up." Type situation. Ranbob was his first victim and the first person he had control over in decades, he considers Ranbob the puppet he was meant to have and refuses to let him go. Everyone is the nat to him, but specifically Ran. Cause Ran was the only person who survived the murders, so Dream sees him as a kill that was taken from him that he needs to fix. Everyone else to him is nothing more than an annoyance, and he's more than happy to use them as nothing more than a stepping stone to kill once he's done with them.
13: Ran is stronger than everyone else, Jackie is faster than everyone else, and Watson is more acrobatic than everyone else. Sorry can you reword "Is Jackie considered stronger than them aside from shared tactics, or is it the other way around?"? I dont completely understand sorry. Kind of, I'll say. There can only be 3 ranking members, but it can also be 2 Corporals and 1 Sergeant.
14: They where caught off guard, but also knew something must be going on due to the fishermen staying closer to Ranbob than normal. He never got too far, as he isnt very fast and Charles and both Isaac tend to be fast enough to get him. If the episode is really bad bringing him back can lead into physical fights but it rarely gets into that, as it seems like Ranbob really doesn't want to fight them most of the time, and holds himself back.
Well, I hope it’s working for you now, cause that sounds less than ideal, honestly.
1: Well, Mizu sounds gorgeous, quite frankly. As for the council having a member of no idol, what about that? People can get kicked out from an idol group? Why? Do some just never choose an idol? Also, how’s the housing situation there? Are there like, apartments on one of the floors, or something? Why does the council not really agree on outside affairs?
3: Not gonna lie, I’m rather curious. What kind of life did Benjamin lead to be under such heavy stress? Does he relate to Ranbob because of this? And what was he doing when he lived on his own to need to make fast-paced decisions? Also, siblings! What’re his siblings like?
8: He sounds like it.
And hm. There are several things I’ve taken from this.
Do totems no longer exist, if they don’t believe Techno could have survived, or did that particular piece of the story just get left out over time?
Has Pandora’s vault fallen? And why would people find it unbelievable? If it’s the future, shouldn’t they have even more advanced technology than that? Or is it simply the lack of evidence that leads them to disagreeing about it’s existence?
They don’t believe people would have been so cruel to the younger ones? Oof, um. Well, at least that says something about the future, I guess.
Mizu sounds like it has an interesting history in it’s self. How do Ran and Ranbob feel about being in a world that basically shunned the people of what would eventually become their home? Do they ever have issues when people find out they originate from Mizu, or worship an idol? From how you put it, it seems like that wasn’t really looked upon well, since they shunted the people who did it to Mizu.
Friendships for the win! Maybe not close, but it sounds like an interesting dynamic. Charles honestly seems pretty mild, and as you said, shy, so putting him with Mr.Random And Chaotic certainly sounds like something. How did these two become friends?
And honestly, it sounds like everyone had a lot of unique experiences in the Nether. It also sounds like Ran and Ranbob were probably an inch from a heart-attack the entire time, considering the shenanigans ongoing. It sounds kind of cute that Ranbob was only sleeping when he was close to them though, and it gives me the image of a giant fluffy cat, so win-win there.
10: Interesting. Was Ranbob not enough to fully return that power to him when the Fishermen first came and took him? Or did Dream just not think they’d get that far and not react in time, when he still had that power from his puppet?
And, uh, wow. Dream was certainly off his rocker before, but that’s definitely cemented now. Is anyone aware he thinks of Ranbob in such a way? Does Ranbob know? How are everyone’s feelings on that-besides y’know, ‘gonna murder Mr.Mask Man’. How does everyone feel about being considered as ‘nats’?
13: Huh. And yeah, I confused myself rereading that. Basically, is Jackie considered stronger than those two? You said they were mostly on par, because of the shared tactics, so when it comes to cutting those shared tactics out of the picture, does Jackie come out on top?
14: So the gang could tell? If I may ask, what were the tells that gave Ranbob away?

"Stark, I would appreciate it if you didn't feel up my husband"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today was a new day, a blessing, something Charles Xavier had been waiting a very long time for.
After decades of trying hundreds of different treatments, Charles was finally getting his legs back. He had never thought this possible until they met Anthony Edward Stark. Tony, the genius billionaire, worked for no more than a year to create the Titanium frame that was to give the telepath the gift of walking once more. Things of course had been difficult for them, with the world pushing further and further against mutantkind.
Tumblr media
There had been many nights where Charles had layed in bed and worried about his students and even about their own safety on the island. Erik knew he stressed about those kind of things and it did even bring the telepath to tears on occasion. But today was a happy day, there would always be things that made the day disfunctional, he had no reason to wear a smile.
The problem they seemed to be having right now, was that Erik hated the thought of anyone aside himself being that close to Charles. The two had been married on the free mutant nation of Genosha three years ago and to say they had been happy was an understatement. The telepath had never felt so much love in all his years knowing the metal manipulator.
The German had been nothing but a pain for the past hour while Tony had been fixing the braces to the chestnut haired male's legs. He had suggested better ways of doing things, and then repeatedly commented on how close the Homo sapien was to his beloved husband.
It was infuriating.
As Charles sits there, he stares at Erik with a cold glare. Enough was enough.
"Erik. For the last time, Tony is doing nothing wrong. If you will not stay silent for the last ten minutes, I will make you"
The braces were quite a complex contraption. The receiver at the base of his spine collected messages boosted by Charles' gifts, he didn't even need to actually project anything either. It was, for lack of a better word, perfection.
--------------------------------------------X-----------------------------------------------------
They couldn't go home yet, not until they were certain the braces were functioning perfectly. That term was subjective, Charles was perfectly fine with just being able to walk. For the first day he had the braces, at least, this all felt very surreal.
He would always remember the feeling of taking those first few steps. The liberating feeling of being able to stand once more.
There was only one disadvantage to being who he was and it was that he never had a camera around. He figured that was for the best. Perhaps the telepath regretted that, especially when he knew Erik would want that sort of thing to hold onto.
Especially given all the couple were going through.
With the new world becoming just the same as the old one, the X Men shuttle between the two in order to help the newer heroes keep peace. Tony, being retired from his duties as Iron Man, did all the communications between the two realities. In Erik and Charles' world, they Avengers had not yet been formed yet and the world despised their kind. The new reality, hatred for mutants was still just as bad, but there was always an exception for those who worked with the earth's mightiest heroes.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
As they grew older, Erik was out more and more often, visiting the new Earth and Doctor Banner on many occasions without Charles.
The telepath knew he was hiding something but knew better than to read Erik's mind for the information. He would simply have to ask someone while they were here.
Seeing as they had a few days still up their sleeve, Charles figured he would enjoy their time on New Earth and then locate Bruce before they left on saturday.
Charles already knew it wasn't going to be anything good, very few things Erik did covertly were. But he had to trust that whatever it was that worried the German metal manipulator would even out eventually and they could go back to being Genosha's happy and rightful rulers.
----------------------------------------------M--------------------------------------------------
Erik was afraid this time that he may let his Secret slip, although the Avenger was helping him enough for nothing to be obvious, he knew that Charles had suspicions that something was up and he simply couldn't allow that to happen.
He had left for Banner's lab early in the morning while he knew Charles was asleep. Tony was already there as well. They went through the usual pleasantries before getting to work. This deep dark secret could just about change everything the world knew about him, and certainly would affect the way Charles even acted around him.
Tony hadn't been involved at first, mostly because Erik hadn't been sure whether or not he would tell anyone about what he and Bruce were working on. But after he had learned to trust the inventor and even come to like him enough to have trusted him with the task of Charles' braces.

When Charles woke up, Erik wasn't there. He worried for a moment before sliding tiredly out of bed before beginning to look for him.
The Avengers complex was enormous, but the telepath had his gifts to help narrow everything down to the western side of the massive construction. He keeps walking, all too aware of how strange he looked in his pale blue nightshirt and sweatpants that had been hastily tugged on last night.
As everyone started to wake up, his mind is flooded with thoughts, making it hard to concentrate. It meant Charles had no other choice than to ask for help. Thankfully he had one clue as to his husband's whereabouts and that was that he was with Bruce and Tony.
Wanda had emerged from one room, looking taken aback at seeing Charles in this part of the complex. Things had been a little….tense after the link between both realities had been established years after the Scarlet Witch had lost Pietro fighting Ultron. It had been hard for Erik to comprehend it at first but soon he made himself accustomed to going home and being able to see his son.
So, nodding in greeting to his stepdaughter, the telepath grins. "Wanda, good morning…you wouldn't happen to know where you father is would you?"
The bright haired female nods slightly "I saw him heading into Bruce's lab early this morning"
What Charles hadn't known when they had arrived on New Earth, was that there was something much darker in this world that had not yet made existence in their own, and that dark secret was what Erik needed help with, if he was to keep his family safe from that same.
