Right since I’m beginning to settle down on my Digital Circus hyperfixation, it’s time to talk about another one! It surprises me that I haven’t talked about the Fnaf movie that much on here so don’t expect this to be concise, it’s gonna be all over the place so let’s go!
First off, I still can’t process that the movie is coming out in almost a week! As a self proclaimed Fnaf veteran (I’ve been a fan since the second games release) i thought this movie was doomed to be stuck in development hell but no! It’s real, fnaf is real, ye.
Anyway enough rambling, time to go feral over minor details.
Yes I watched the unlisted video in full and yes this has been on my mind for the past 7 hours or so. It captured the ambience of Fnaf 1 PERFECTLY and I couldn’t be happier about it. So I’m gonna talk about some cool stuff I saw during the video.
WHAT THE FUCK? SHADOW FREDDY? That was not on my bingo card, look at him, he’s glorious.
Tumblr media
I also saw this small pill bottle, it’s likely that it’s Mike’s but I’m not sure why he’d have it, maybe it’s a Walten Files situation? He could’ve went through something so traumatic that he had to take normal pills to forgor? And if Mike IS William’s son here then that would explain why he didn’t know who he was during the job interview, so the event that happened that made him become prescribed to them was likely The Bite Of 83 if that’s the case. Or they’re completely unrelated since the movies timeline is completely separate from the games.
Tumblr media
Enough speculating, time to talk about funnie murder man now.
Tumblr media
They absolutely NAILED this design, I love how you can see hints of Afton’s clothes and those eyes, holy shit those eyes, I don’t know what it is but they’re so unsettling (loving the hints of purple in those peepers). I don’t know when the suit’s showing up in the movie (probably the third act) but its probably going to be my favourite part. And if the Spring Bonnie design makes me feel genuinely unsettled, I can’t WAIT to see what they’re going to do with Springtrap.
I know some people have said that this is going to be his design for the movie but I don’t think that’s the case, look at the small hints of Afton we see in the suit, there’s no blood, no hints of bodily harm, he clearly hasn’t been springlocked yet, and the suit looks worse for wear because it’s the suit from Fredbear’s, it’s old, it hasn’t been in use for almost 2 decades (it’s been confirmed by Emma Tammi that the movie takes place in the year 2000), and speaking of springlocks…
Tumblr media
BBFC RATING HELLO?? UNDETAILED DECAPITATION?? HUH??
At first I thought it was referring to a possible springlock scene, but then I remembered something that would make a lot more sense
Tumblr media
Maybe it’s referring to this? I’ve seen a lot of theories stating that Golden Freddy might actually be Mike after something happens (hence why Abby’s so chill with a golden bear that has Sans Undertale going into his eyes).
But it could refer to quite a few things maybe that’s how the five children were killed and stuffed? Possibly, but either way, I really hope they don’t cut out the springlock failure entirely, it’s really important to the timeline and I’m genuinely curious to see what they could get away with with the rating in mind.
Tumblr media
ALSO THIS. Okay, so there’s obviously a few contenders here and I can immediately debunk one of them
Tumblr media
It’s not Balloon Boy, we see him in a drawing during this scene in the teaser trailer, and I think it would be out of place for him to show up anyway (even if I’d find it fucking hilarious)
I think it’s either Henry or The Puppet, I don’t see it being anyone else (maybe there’s someone I forgot? Idk man Fnaf canon nowadays is ridiculous). Maybe if the Mike saw trap theory actually happens The Puppet will show up to do her thing and place his soul in the Golden Freddy suit? Maybe, it’s either that or a post credits scene. And with Henry I only see him having a VERY minor role, I’m not sure what he could be doing though, we’ll have to wait and see if he shows up or not.
Tumblr media
Anyway I’m very excited for this movie and if it’s not at least a 7/10 I’m going to cry.

ok
so this week I saw 4 movies because my spouse and I are insane and decided to go to drive in theaters and I got the dates wrong so we went to a different one that was closed on thursday but then still wanted to go to the other one so we just did them both one night after another. in order of how good the films were here's reviews no one wants:
1 the popes exorcist - whoooooooo I was quaking in my car. this horror film knows that the best strange bedfellows are horror and comedy and knew how to balance it to make a truly impactful horror. implied that the Spanish inquision wasn't the church's fault bc it was actually Satan's fault. hilarious. great acting. I'm obsessed with exorcists being possessed so like yes all the way down. the trailer is a bad rep of the movie btw
2 (yallr gonna hate me for this but) Fast X - ok. hear me out. I have literally never seen any f&f movies. not a one. but Jason Momoa SERVED in this film. "what should we blow up? the Vatican? lmao. *ok*.. but yall are going to hell :)" this film was a series of one liners but somehow like actually made me laugh. somehow effectively used one liners. the women in the movie were so fucking fierce. the fights had truly gorgeous choreography. the bomb was stupid big. just a fun movie to watch.
3 john wick 4 - I don't have much to say, I *like John wick* , John wick has an extremely personal place in my heart, love him. it just didn't impress me, felt like I was just watching all the previous JW films cut and paste together? had its moments! choreography of course was amazing. eh?
4. Renfield- I have so much to say about renfield. again, horror and comedy are strange bedfellows but opposed to popes exorcist which had a balance 60/40 horror comedy, this film was imbalanced like 90/10 comedy horror. this was the movie we originally set out to watch (knowing it wasn't going to be great but hoping it would be worth it) when the weekend took a turn and then we watched 3 other movies also. what I will sum up about renfield to you, my followers, is that it was copaganda!!!.??????? hello???? insane!!!! it was about the myth of the one good cop fighting corruption and busting the criminals :) but for some reason used music from my chemical romance and made jokes about tumblr. in a copaganda film. that for some reason nic cage was in. here's the thing. nic cage as Dracula. is *everything*. he is nasty he is hot he is terror and anger and style. he served a Dracula you have never seen before. petty and immortal. it was amazing. and it was juxtaposed with a pathetic white boy who would have appealed to the lorax era tumblr. i am at a loss for words??? this film was riddled with #Irony and such incredibly dumbed down and straight forward story telling (ironic boy voice:"I get my power from eating bugs!") that it was clearly made for Teens. and through, *all of this.* Nic Cage was serving the cuntiest Dracula I have ever seen. like I would say if you're a cage fan, go ahead and watch it, but beware, you're about to see one of the dumbest films cage has ever been in. and I've seen Zandalee on laser disc, and that FNAF knock off he did. I get why some 20 year old tumblrinas are a fan of renfield. yall probably like Brooklyn99 too. but I'm promising you it's such a bad movie with bad story telling, and somehow, great acting.

I have made multiple ideas for fan fics for atla, voltron, and miraculous ladybug.
I'm sorry to announce that the new hyperfixation is FNAF SB
LETS A GO!!!!
Okay, this is inspired by many pieces of work that have already been produced/are in the work. The commit from insta usar callmebreadthetoast and all the fan fics where Gregory dies or otherwise ends up in a comatose state while in the plaza and ends up inhabiting an anamatronic suit, which allows him to make friends with the gaang.
In complete clarity, this isn't so much a fan fic idea as it is a fan fic word search with an ending, but if you've read any other idea post I've posted then you're used to this.
As stated through the post, Gregory would "die" in the plex and end up in an anamatronic suit somehow(I'm thinking Charley). However, he only has a few days to find his body, defeat Afton, and end the virus before he can never go back to being human/dies permanently this time. Because this is FNAF, I'm giving him five days in this post.
During this time he spends his days looking for clues on Afton with Freddy and maybe accidentally the other animatronics, binds with everyone and saving them while also salvaging Bonnie(maybe Foxy even tho he's never explicitly mentioned in the game like Bonnie. Also yes I would like for Gregory to have two dads, sue me).
The last day arrives and they've located Vanny's secret base. During the fight Freddy gets seriously hurt which spurs the rest of the animatronics to fight as well after breaking free of her for the final time.
There is only so much time left, but Gregory KNOWS he has to fix up the rest of the animatronics before morning because there is a possibility they'll be scrapped if found in the condition they're in after a week of weird unexplained small glitches.
He spends the rest of the night on Chica, Roxy, Monty, Freddy,(and Boonie or/and Foxy) with the help of Sundrop and Moonrise to move them around since while he is still an animatronic, he's a small animatronic.
At the end of the night, after they've been all fixed and places in their rooms to charge he slumps in front a charging station out in the main hall(maybe filled with either Bonnie or Foxy) when Moonrise settled next to him to tell him the time.
It isn't enough to make it all the way down to the pizzeria to get back into his body.
He closes his eyes.
Screen closing,
A soft plush is placed in his arms for comfort,
Morning doors open,
Morning light fills the room,
3,
2,
1,
YOU THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO KILL HIM; HELL NAH I LOVE MYSELF A HAPPY ENDING.
He slumps out of a charger into the arms of his new, strange, loving family. He may not be human anymore, but that just means I don't have to worry about the legality of an animatronic adopting a human.

“Belief”

“Jack, you need sleep.”
Day Nine of the #SamLives debacle.
Jack would be lying if he said he’d been sleeping fine, that he hadn’t been worried. The stress of the situation was beginning to take its toll, and it hadn’t been made any better by the GameTheory video that had come out the day before. Matt had good intentions, Jack knew, but...it hadn’t exactly worked the way he assumed the other YouTuber had been hoping.
“Game Theory: Does #SamLive? THE SCIENTIFIC PROOF!”
MatPat was one of the few YouTubers who had, accidentally, learned of Sam’s existence. It was at that Rachel Ray event, the one where he and Matt had been on the same Taco-Making Team™. Sam hadn’t been feeling well so Jack had brought him along for the day, keeping the little eyeball in his hoodie and out of sight, close to him in case Sam needed him. But in the midst of the chaos of the competition, Jack had been jostled by Matt, had tripped and landed on his arse. Matt had immediately apologized and laughed it off...but when he’d reached down to help Jack stand up, Sam had peaked out from where he’d been hiding in Jack’s hood. Matt had frozen, a stunned look on his face, and in an instant Jack knew that he had seen. That he knew. For a moment the pair had been frozen in a stare-off, neither sure what to do. Then Jack had shaken his head quickly and put a finger to his lips. No. Please. Quiet. Don’t say anything...
...and Matt had nodded. He’d helped Jack to his feet and not commented on it at all. Tom (their third teammate) had missed the entire exchange, cracking some joke about “Laying down on the job”. Later, in a bathroom down a back hallway, Jack had explained everything to Matt...and Matt had sworn he wouldn’t tell a soul.
So when #SamLived had taken the YouTube scene by storm faster than Scott Cawthon turned out FNaF games, and when Jack saw that GameTheory had made a video about it....he knew what Matt was trying to do. The video wasn’t proving that Sam was real. The video was to try and counter-prove the theories saying he was and to point out all the reasons why Sam couldn’t possibly exist. Which would have been fine, except that it meant all of the fans over on the GameTheory channel who hadn’t heard about the #SamLives chaos would now be in the know.
“...ack? Jack!”
“Hm...?” Jack dragged himself from his thoughts and blinked, shaking himself mentally. “Sorry Peej, I missed that.”
PJ was watching him from the office chair next to his with a frown on his face. He nudged the Irishman’s leg with his foot.
“Man, you were totally out of it for a bit there. I was just saying you should get some sleep.”
“I’m tryin’, PJ, I swear I am,” Jack smiled weakly. “I’ve just been stressed. I’ll be fine in a few days.”
"Are you still up for recording a game today? We can wait until next week if you’re not feeling up to it.”
“Nah, I’ll be fine,” Jack pulled on a brighter smile. Good ol’ PJ. He was a decent guy and an even better friend. But Jack shook his head, running a hand through his hair to fix it. “Don’t worry about me. A video or two isn’t gonna be the death of me! I’ll take a nap when we’re done with this one, alright?”
PJ held up both hands in surrender, returning the Irishman’s infectious grin.
“Whatever you say! But you had better be serious about that nap. You look like you need it.”
Jack scoffed and laughed, his next words dripping with sarcasm.
“Oh, thaaaanks, thanks for the compliment. I reeaaally needed that self-esteem boost. You’re too kind.”
“No problem!” PJ grinned cheekily back at him.
The two fell into laughter, and once they had started into the Nintendo Switch game they’d planned on recording, most of Jack’s worries fell away for the time being.
That’s not to say they didn’t come back. Jack kept his promise to PJ. He took a nap halfway through the day, crashing onto his couch with all the grace of a baby giraffe.PJ - knowing he needed the rest - only asked Jack if he could raid the pantry (“Sure, just don’t touch the cookies or you’re dead to me.”) before leaving him to his devices. But Jack’s sleep was a restless one, leaving him feeling only a fraction better when he woke up later to his phone ringing on the coffee table beside him.
With his face still buried in the stiff couch pillows, Jack reached out out blindly, his hand skittering across the table’s surface like a drunk spider, landing on the remote, a game controller, and yesterday’s mail before finally coming into contact with his phone. He answered it without looking, face still half-mushed in the pillow.
“Mph?”
“...Jack?”
“Wassup?”
“Did I wake you up?”
The humorous tone on the other end of the phone was vaguely familiar, and it took him a moment to make the connection in his barely-woken-up state.
“...you’ve reached Jacksepticeye’s mouth. His brain isn’t here right now, but if ye call back again in a few minutes it might’ve come back around by then. Either that, or his mouth will have left too.”
“The infamous screaming Irishman of YouTube, missing his mouth? The horror!”
“Oh, shuddup Mark,” Jack chuckled. He dragged himself into a semi-upright position, slouching on the couch. “What’s up?”
“What are you doing asleep at six in the evening?”
“I took a nap.” Jack yawned and scratched at the scruff along his jaw. “Is there a reason fer this call or didja just miss hearin’ my voice?”
“Can ‘both’ be an answer?” Jack could hear Mark’s grin from the other end of the line.
“Heh, I s’ppose,” he chuckled a little. “But really, what’s up?”
“I...eh. Saw the video that GameTheory posted. He really jumped on the bandwagon quickly, didn’t he?”
“Is this about Sam again?” Jack didn’t mean for it to come out as annoyed as it did, honestly. He really didn’t. But it sounded that way anyway and he winced at his own words. PJ stuck his head out from the doorway to the kitchen, an eyebrow raised in question, a bag of crisps in hand. Jack waved him off with a smile.
“I...” Mark faltered. Seemed like he’d hit the nail right on the head. “...well, yeah, but I’ve got a reason for bringing it up, I swear.” The American was quick to defend himself, and Jack couldn’t help but wonder if Mark thought he’d hang up because of the subject matter. He sighed and sat up a little straighter.
“Oh yeah?” Jack asked, trying to sound more friendly. “And what reason might that be?”
“Well see...the thing is...” Mark trailed off. Jack could hear sounds in the background, movement. Like Mark was moving around the house. Was he pacing? “...I mean...w-well, it’s kinda...weird. I mean not bad weird, or freaky weird - okay it might be a little freaky to some people but–”
“If this is about your third nipple I already know,” Jack snickered, trying to lessen the tension with a joke. (PJ clearly thought it was funny if his stifled laughter from the other room was anything to go by.) But it didn’t seem to help because Mark let out a frustrated groan on the other end of the line.
“No! No, it’s...” More silence. “Okay, it’s kind of about Sam, but kinda not.”
“Okay...?” Jack stood up from the couch, shuffling to the kitchen as Mark struggled to find the words he wanted to say. Coffee. He needed coffee for this.
“OH!” Mark shouted suddenly, as if he’d had an epiphany. “OH! Oh oh oh! Okay! So! In Bendy and the Ink Machine, Joey Drew has that...that one tape recording, where he’s talking about belief. About how it can do amazing, impossible things, and how you could even cheat death or something–”
“Mark, what in th’ blue blazes does this have ta do with my imaginary friend?”
“I’m getting there, I promise.”
Jack rolled his eyes and started the coffee machine, leaning back against the counter with one hand tucked in his pocket. PJ was reclining in a kitchen chair, playing a game on his phone with his feet kicked up on the table, and he was still giving Jack puzzled looks that made his curiosity about the phone call clear. Jack covered the mouthpiece and lowered his voice.
"It's Mark," he murmured. "Markiplier. Keeps asking about the #SamLives thing."
"Oh, yeah, I’ve been meaning to ask...how did you guys do that?" PJ asked. “New animation program? Robin did a fantastic job.”
PJ’s grip on his phone had gone slack while he was talking, but a beeping sound effect from the game immediately drew his attention and he quickly focused on playing it while he waited for a response. Jack didn't respond right away...what would his lie be this time?...but before he could even figure out an answer, his phone buzzed against his ear, a notification pinging in the background. So he pulled the mobile away from his face and put the call on speaker, minimizing the app so he could check whatever had just gone off. All he offered PJ was a half-shrug as a response to his question.
“Belief. I’m talking about belief,” Mark continued. Jack opened Twitter, still listening. “I never really thought about it before I played Bendy, but afterwards...it just made sense! And then you posted that video with Sam and I remembered that quote from the game...”
Jack swiped over to his messages, and saw one from somebody he was fairly certain he wasn’t friends with. Weird...he tapped it. It took a long time for the message to load, and once it did, the app closed itself out. Jack scrunched up his nose. Well then. It was gonna be one of those days then, huh? The rustle of static came over the speaker for a moment and Jack frowned, struggling to understand Mark’s words.
“If y...ave...nough of it you ca...”
“Mark? Mark, you’re cuttin’ out, man–”
Jack tugged his other hand free from his pocket and tapped the screen - and he gasped sharply when a static shock jolted through his finger. He shook his hand roughly through the air and winced, cursing under his breath. What the hell...? Then whatever weak connection he’d had with Mark’s call was gone, the call dropping and ending abruptly. Jack...blinked. And stared at his phone.
"You alright?" PJ looked up from his game again to frown at the irishman, who tugged on a quick smile. He shrugged and tucked his phone in his pocket. Ah, well...Mark must’ve had bad reception.
"I'm fine, Peej," he crossed the kitchen to tap PJ’s phone screen, making him lose whatever game he was playing and earning a cry of protest in return. "Just a little static shock. Surprised me more 'n anything. But hey, I’m good! I’m golden! I'm a big, strong boy! I can handle anything!"
Jack's tone turned humorous and his antics drew a snort and rolled eyes from PJ.
"Sure you can," he drawled, swatting at Jack’s arm to stop him interfering with his game again, and making the gamer scamper away with a victorious grin. "A big, strong boy who's scared of heights."
"Hey! That is a completely valid fear to have, you hypocrite!" Jack protested as he continued making his coffee. He pretended to look highly affronted by the accusation. "I mean it’s not really the height that scares me, it’s the fuckin’ death waiting at the bottom of the fall. Can ye blame me?"
“Maybe you’re just scared of being tall because you’ve been so short your whole life–”
PJ barely managed to dart out of the kitchen in time to miss the roll of paper towel Jack chucked at his head.
Jack finished his coffee and moved on with his day, his focus turning to recording the second video with PJ…though somehow Mark’s little ramblings about “belief” lingered with him, hovering in the back of his mind. What had he meant by that…?
[A/N] This part/chapter ended up being longer than the previous two...oops lol. Got a little carried away. I don’t have a real plan for this, but I have a feeew ideas about where it might go. This could get interesting... :3c

#SamLives - Pt.3
[Previous|Next]
[This story has been edited and reposted on the official #SamLives Tumblr. The new post of Chapter 3 can be found here.]
(The main difference between this version and the updated version is the scene in the kitchen. Instead of Signe being there, PJ is still hanging out instead.)
“Jack, you need sleep.”

"It's Mark," he murmured. "Keeps asking about Sam."
"You gonna tell him the truth?" Signe asked.
Her hands were cupped around a warm mug of tea, and she held it up near her face to let the steam warm her while she waited for a response. Jack didn't respond right away...but before he could even figure out an answer, his phone buzzed against his ear, a notification pinging in the background.
"You alright?" Signe looked up from her book again to frown at her boyfriend, who tugged on a soft smile. He shrugged and tucked his phone in his pocket. Ah, well...Mark must’ve had bad reception.
"I'm fine, Wiish," he crossed the kitchen to plant a kiss on the top of her head, squeezing one of her shoulders gently. "Just a little static shock. Surprised me more 'n anything. But don't worry about me! I'm a big, strong boy! I can handle anything!"
Jack's tone turned humorous and his antics drew a giggle from Signe, her eyes brightening and her lips curling up at the corners in a brilliant smile.
"Sure you can," she teased, poking at his side and making him scamper away. "A big, strong boy who's scared of being tickled."
"Hey! I'm not scared of it!" Jack protested as he continued making his coffee. He pretended to look highly affronted by the accusation. "I jus' don't like it! Can ye blame me?!"
Signe just stuck her tongue out in response then returned to her book, a soft smile still gracing her features.
Jack finished his coffee and moved on with his day, his focus turning to recording and uploading the day's videos…though somehow Mark’s little ramblings about “belief” lingered with him, hovering in the back of his mind.
What had he meant by that…?
[A/N] This part/chapter ended up being longer than the previous two...oops lol. Got a little carried away. I don’t have a real plan for this, but I have a feeew ideas about where it might go. This could get interesting... :3c

Thoughts on Anti and Dark
So because of recent events in both fandoms, I started thinking about Dark and Anti, and how I personally view them. Because there’s no denying I love both characters. And everyone always likes to compare them (which is completely understandable), so I started comparing them in my own mind. Comparing how they operate, what I find so terrifying about them, their personalities, basically everything. And I just kinda wanted to get my thoughts about them down on paper (or… document I guess). So here’s some personal thoughts I have about Dark and Anti.
(Prepare for opinions! Also, like I said I love both of these characters. Just because I might say one is stronger than the other, or scarier doesn’t mean I like the other any less. Remember that this is all MY opinion and thoughts! You can agree or disagree with whatever ^_^)
Anti
Ah, the Glitch Bitch. Such a fascinating character, especially of late as Jack continues to flesh him out. We were first introduced to the knife-wielding weirdo last Halloween when he slit Jack’s throat on camera before taking over. Wow. That’s quite the entrance. It’s disturbing and wrong and terrifying. And it’s made even more sinister by the glassy-eyed stare Jack gives the camera as he does it. So with his appearances leading up to and including Halloween, we learned several things about Anti:
1) He’s absolutely ruthless, cruel, and sadistic. He kills Jack for seemingly no reason other than he finds it fun or satisfying in some way.
2) He’s calculated, sneaky, and smart as hell. I know that often times the fandoms portray Anti as the cocky, sloppy, hyper-active, and boisterous newcomer in comparison to Dark (which I agree with to an extent; Dark’s character is based on the fact that he can manipulate those around him into abandoning their beliefs; his character and powers seem based in the psyche and mind as opposed to Anti’s more physical powers), but Anti can be just as tactful and deceptive as Dark. He hid messages in the tags of the videos, he appeared at specific times during gameplay because he wanted to give us hints by highlighting certain words or events.
And in my mind, he leaves hints for us because, again, it’s fun for him. He likes playing little games. Anti enjoys seeing us struggle to connect the dots, and laughs when we figure things out just a little too late, taunting us. He loves the attention we give him and he knows that so long as he keeps leaving a trail of crumbs, we’ll follow it. And that means he has control over us. Humans want closure and completion to any story. And yet, Anti is still an enigma for the most part. We kinda know what he wants, we kinda know his plan. But we’re still not 100% sure of anything! We aren’t even 100% sure of what Anti even is or how his powers work. Is he a demon? A computer virus or glitch? He seems capable of possessing people, travelling in time, and messing with electronics. But who knows what else he can do? All these “maybes” and questions make us want to know more, and so we keep watching (this is very similar to how FNaF became so popular- just enough clues and evidence to keep people interested in learning the entire story). We’re curious about Anti and that’s our ultimate downfall. You know what they say: curiosity killed the Jack.
In many ways, Anti is childish. He’s loud and brash, loves playing games, throws spectacular tantrums, and can often be surprisingly profound. And all of this is great! There’s a reason that creepy, evil children are a horror trope. I also think that this works great in regards to Anti being Jack’s dark persona. Anti and Jack are very similar, not just in terms of looks. Basically everything I said above about Anti being childish can be applied to Jack. But the brilliant part is how, even though Jack and Anti are so similar, they couldn’t be more different. Jack’s sometimes childish behavior is endearing. He’s often cutesy and excited, but can and will whine if something doesn’t go his way. His enthusiasm and energy are what many people enjoy about his content. And then when he gets into a pensive state, he says some really inspiring, and genuine things. Anti is the same way. He’s always teeming with energy, and his manner of speaking is very similar to Jack’s in that they are both a little silly and childish. He isn’t verbose, he’s simple and to the point. “Always watching,” “tired of playing pretend,” “there are no strings on me,” “I wonder what will happen to your favorite boy,” etc. All very simple, something you could absolutely see a child saying. But even despite his common vernacular, what he says can be profound. Just look at all the theories about what he says and how much each line could mean. Anti takes what is good and liked about Jack, and twists it into its worst self.
Let’s get into some of Anti’s symbolism, specifically eyes. Now, Jack has had eyes as a staple of his channel since forever, and Septiceye Sam has been the mascot for as long as I’ve known of Jack. But Anti takes this concept one step further. Not only do his eyes change color constantly, but he’s always been very focused on what eyes do. In his first full appearance, he mocks us for just watching as he took over and eventually killed Jack. He seems very interested in the bystander effect. We were the bystanders who noticed the weird glitches in Jack’s videos leading up to Halloween, but just sat and watched to see what would happen next. We were curious because we thought everything was a game, and that Jack was just doing something nice for the fans who created Anti. And while this is true in reality, it isn’t true in regards to the story that Anti is apart of. Because Anti is part of a story. All of Jack’s Egos are. So is Jack. And so are we.
This is one of the reasons Anti is so cool a character. Because we know he’s a character, and yet he can make things seem so real. Anti’s story has become very much like an ARG like Marble Hornets. Anti openly talks to us so that we become a part of his story. He says things to make us feel as if we can do things to help. He tells us that we’re just sitting here and watching, so we try to retaliate, to do something (ex. #septicsave). But while we may be a character, all we'll ever be to the other characters are a set of eyes. Whenever Anti talks to us, it’s pre-recorded. All we can really do is watch. We can try to do things all we want. In the end, Anti’s already done whatever he’s going to do in his story. He gives us a false sense of power and choice, when we really don’t have any. (Disclaimer: I know that Jack loves theories and suggestions from the community and often takes them into consideration when crafting the story around his characters. Again, in reality, we do have a choice and influence, but so far in the story, we don’t.)
And Anti also knows we’ll never stop watching. He seems to also like the concept of “seeing is believing.” Because the obvious answer to “beating” Anti is to stop watching. But then what? Will he truly lose? How can we know if we don’t watch? Unless we see him lose, who’s to say he didn’t complete his take over, his killing spree, whatever it is he wants? We would have to rely on faith and hope alone. And unfortunately, humans aren’t particularly adept at trusting what they can’t perceive with their senses. So in the end, we watch because we feel as if we have to. And we keep going round and round in circles.
And that’s why I love the concept that’s been floating around recently about how god damn interesting and horrifying the idea of a livestream where Anti tortures Jack is. A deep-web “red room”-esque scenario where the viewers tell Anti what to do to Jack. Not only is that just unsettling in premise, it’s horrifying because some people would actually suggest awful things (because humans are morbidly fascinated by the suffering of others). And again, the only way to stop it would be for everyone to stop watching. And that would never happen. Because if no one’s watching, who knows what Anti would do to Jack? Who's to say he wouldn’t just torture him without us watching? And then there will always be the people who want to see what Anti would do to Jack. So no matter what, Anti wins. And we just sat and watched.
I started writing this entire analysis a few weeks before the charity livestream, but I’m adding it in because holy fuck. Other people who are much more eloquent and concise than I am have already analyzed everything I’m about talk about, but I wanna get my thoughts out.
So. That was a fun time! I can’t even fathom how many people stayed up all night to watch those damn security cameras! I was one of the people who was up all night (I had finals and papers to write so I was up anyway), and I don’t think I saw the stream dip below 6,000 people watching. That’s insane that that many people stayed up for 20+ hours just to see what the hell was going to happen. By the time I fell asleep on Saturday, I had personally been awake for around 41-42 hours, and most of that was due to watching the streams to see what was going to happen. Anti managed to keep us glued to our screens for hours on end, stringing us along with little clips every now and again. And one of the most interesting things is that the majority of the footage wasn’t new content. Only the clips of Emma, Ethan, PJ, and Robin doing their spooky stuff was new. And yet we kept sitting there watching. Just the amount of influence Anti has over us is astounding! Again, a lot of the Overnight Watch stream connects with things I’ve already said. How do we beat Anti? Stop watching. But what if we miss something? So we keep watching. Circles. We sat by as eyes (security cameras) while we saw all this creepy stuff happened. Anti won BIG TIME. He was able to see just what lengths we’re willing to go to just for him.
So now that I’ve beaten how Anti operates into the ground, let’s talk about why he’s scary to me. Because he is. One thing about Anti is that he’s unstable and unpredictable with deadly mood swings. Anything that is unpredictable is nerve wracking because it plays into the fear of the unknown. Like I mentioned before, we aren’t certain about much of what Anti does. We’ve theorized and theorized until our theorizers are sore, but we don’t know much other than the fact that Anti killed Jack, and most likely Schneep. Even Anti’s movement is unpredictable due to his glitches. This is something that really unsettles me because I’m a visual person who likes to be able to keep track of things visually. For example, I’m also rather scared of bugs, but so long as I can see where a bug is, or I’m able to track it going around a room, I don’t freak out about it. But as soon as one buzzes past my ear without me seeing it, I get very startled and flinch HARD. So Anti’s glitching everywhere is also pretty unsettling for me as I can’t predict or track it visually. He also is more than willing to physically harm us as well. That’s another scary thing about Anti. He wields a large fucking carving knife and seems very ready to use it. Everyone has a pain threshold that they don’t want to cross. So Anti is also scary because he gives the very real threat of unbearable pain.
So for me, Anti’s scariness comes from a combination of his unpredictable nature and movement, his enthusiasm for hurting people and his propensity for causing pain. He also tends to have a slow buildup to a reveal. He drops hints for sometimes months at a time before he makes a full appearance. That sense of anticipation is also nerve wracking (it’s the entire basis for the thriller genre). For me, though, it actually makes it less scary because at least there’s some solid hints that something will happen soon. This isn’t to say these are the only reasons he’s scary (after all, he’s also pretty good at playing mind games like I stated before. But the types of mind games he plays don’t scare me; I just find them impressive and clever more than scary). This is just why he’s scary to me.
So that’s a lot of my thoughts on Anti. I think he’s a very cool character and Jack has taken him in a super interesting direction. Plus, the use of medium and the gimmicks and plot points he derives from his medium are a goddamn treat to theorize and write about.
Dark
The monochromatic monarch, the VHS Cunt himself, Darkiplier. Has this guy seen some development this year or what? From a weird emo roomate to a master manipulator, Dark’s Valentine’s Day reintroduction was quite the spectacle that I was not expecting (I mean, up until Mark called the horror show “The Dark Mark”). So, with the retooling of his character, what do we know about Dark now?
1) He’s a master manipulator and just “the worst.” Mark confirmed this during one of the charity livestreams where he discussed “A Date with Markiplier” in detail. He clearly says that Dark wants to use us and he’s not our friend. He will pretend to be anything we want him to be in order to gain our trust before throwing us aside once our usefulness has run out.
2) He’s a being from another dimension who just so happens to bleed into our dimension that does not follow the laws of physics, similar to Warfstache. He and Mark are two different people.
3) Dark is jealous of Mark’s success and accomplishments and wants to take them for himself.
As the year has gone on, we’ve seen that Dark has a rather large plan forming. He’s working with other Egos (especially Warfstache) in order to take control of the channel, as we saw in Markiplier TV (if we assume this is part of the “canon.” I personally do, but I know a lot of people have been questioning it lately).. And then the huge bomb that was “Who Killed Markiplier?” dropped to give us the origins of both Dark and Wilford. And from that, we also now know that Dark’s plan for a takeover is not just a result of jealousy and a lust for power, but also for revenge and retribution.
So in many ways, we know a lot more about Dark than Anti. We have the basic plan, backstory, and motive. But there is still a treasure trove of stuff we don’t know about Dark. We don’t know the total extent of his powers or exactly how they operate, and we don’t know his exact plan. Similarly to Anti, this ambiguity keeps us watching and theorizing.
But, with the reveal of Dark’s backstory, he now has another hook into the viewers that keeps our attention on him and keeps us easy to manipulate: he’s a sympathetic character. To an extent at least. Okay, so we all know he’s a master manipulator, a horrible person, and a villain. But a villain is only a villain in the eyes of someone opposing them. A villain is their own hero. And when you give a perceived villain sympathetic motivation, it can often change the way viewers look at that character. Dark’s motivation is reasonable. Anyone can see that he has reason to be angry. WKM!Mark destroyed the lives of the Colonel, Damien, Celine, the Detective, and the DA. The way Mark framed WKM’s ending, Dark becomes sympathetic. Because of WKM!Mark’s antics, both “halves” of Dark lost everything. Damien had his body snatched and lost both his best friends. Celine also lost her body and lost both of the men she at one point loved. Betrayal and loss of loved ones are two of the most effective ways to drudge up sympathy for a character because at some point, most people have experienced the pain of one or both. In this way, the viewers can now easily view Dark as the “hero” of sorts while Mark becomes the villain.
But giving a villain a sympathetic backstory can be very dangerous because it can give the villain one more way to manipulate the viewer. Mark has gone on record in his “I EXPLAIN EVERYTHING” livestream that Damien and Celine aren’t really their own entities anymore. The dark energy of the House combined the worst parts of them together along with itself to create a new being: Dark. Damien and Celine are no longer in Dark. Not as we knew them, anyway. And yet, I can guarantee you, if Dark ever felt it was needed, he would create projections of Damien and Celine to make it seems like they’re still in there. And they would reach out to us and gain our sympathy and trust. Reassure us that this is for the best, and that it’s all part of their plan. How they’ve missed us and just wish we could go back to the way things were before that dreaded poker game. And we would crumble. Dark would wrap us around his finger, make us care again, and trust him more. Because they were still there. It wasn’t just Dark. They weren’t bad people. We had to help them, had to believe them! After all, what do we always say? They deserved better.
Dark is a mastermind. Due to his manipulative nature, he’s always thinking dozens of steps ahead so that no matter the circumstance, those he wants to control will stay firmly trapped under his thumb. And this bitch will prey on anything to get what he wants. Any sort of weakness a person has, he will exploit. Heck, he’ll exploit their strengths, too. Dark, to me, is a people reader. He’s observed so many people and figured out how they operate. He’s figured out which people are most responsive to positive reinforcement, and those who are most responsive to negative reinforcement. And he’s content to observe. Dark is patient, while Anti can be more impulsive. Dark does not mind waiting and biding his time to make sure he is successful. There’s a reason he’s had fewer appearances than Anti (again, story-wise not logistics based).
Just like Anti and Jack, I adore how Dark and Mark compare to one another. Even though we know Dark isn’t exactly Mark’s dark persona, it’s really intriguing to see how Mark took that concept of his dark side and fleshed it out. Because again, Dark and Mark have very similar personalities and strengths. Both are very charismatic and are good at influencing people, extraordinarily smart, and emotionally driven (in many ways, including temper). But the way they use these gifts is how they differ and why it’s so interesting to observe. Mark uses his charisma and influence to better the world, whether it be through charity or simply giving people who may have given up a reason to live. He uses his intelligence and creativity to entertain millions and is always coming up with interesting ways to make what he does more successful (just look at the recent livestreams). In contrast, Dark uses his charisma to charm people into doing and getting what HE wants. He uses his gifts selfishly instead of selflessly. He uses his gift as an influencer to coerce people into doing horrible things (like shooting Mark in ADWM), and his intelligence lets him figure out how the human mind operates so that he can better control it. It’s such a cool concept to have these two people be so similar and yet they are completely different.
Okay, now, why is Dark scary to me? Well, as a said before, Dark seems to operate in the realm of the mind. We haven’t seen him pull anything particularly violent besides pulling a gun on Mark. Other than that, he’s been trying to manipulate us and others through our emotions and thoughts. As someone who has always taken pride in how sharp my mind is, it scares me to think that Dark could turn my own mind against me just by taking my weaknesses and words and twisting them to mean something negative. I don’t like being outsmarted, and I could absolutely believe that I would somehow talk myself into a trap by being outsmarted by Dark. I like to think that I would be able to see through his charade and not be bothered by his words, but I just don’t know. I’m only human and there are some very vulnerable parts of me that could be prodded to make me even more vulnerable. And while I don’t think I wear my heart on my sleeve, I don’t think I hide my emotions well, and Dark will take whatever he sees and attack with it. Another thing about Dark is that there is still so much that is hidden about him. We haven’t seen enough of him in action to determine much. It seems he’s acting on the horror concept of “the less you see the monster, the scarier it becomes.” And god damn has that been executed well. We’ve only had extended exposure to Dark in ADWM. All other appearances have been quick cameos where we get a better sense of his personality, but not much else. Again, him biding his time has proved very effective. He proved he was a threat before disappearing into the shadows to watch everyone worry themselves into a tizzy. We’ve seen a snippet of his power, but who knows what else he’s capable of? That’s why there are so interpretations of him. He takes on the powers and forms we are personally most afraid of. He’s become the monster in the dark. He’s a looming menace which has always scared me. The last thing that scares me is that I can see parts of myself in him. I’m prideful and I have quite the temper when pushed far enough. I’m ambitious and my thoughts can be viciously vengeful. I think back through my life and wonder how much in my life would have had to occurred differently for me to become a manipulative piece of garbage (hint: less than you would think). And that’s a horrifying thought to me.
So Dark is scary due to his intelligence, his ambiguity, and the fact that he’s realistic enough that I see characteristics of myself in him. Dark’s appearances also don’t have the build up that Anti’s have. We get an occasional hint or two, but they’re subtle enough that it makes us question whether or not we’re looking into things too much. Then out of nowhere, an appearance happens and the entire fandom is sent reeling. I think the most build up we’ve gotten for Dark is the week long clue hunt the led to Who Killed Markiplier?. And that wasn’t even built up FOR Dark. This more guerilla warfare style of appearances is much more effective in scaring me because it leaves me feeling nervous all the time. Between Anti appearances, I’m able to calm down. But because of the suddenness of Dark’s appearances, I’m always high strung wondering when, where and how he’s going to strike next. Because I can “feel” him watching, calculating his next move, but I can never figure out where he is to prepare myself for the next appearance. So for me, it more effectively scares me as I feel more of a loss of control.
And that’s a lot of my thoughts on Dark! He’s very much the style of villain I’m drawn to, so I have a lot of fun theorizing about and analyzing him. I love that Mark embraced this character and made him his own because he’s made a very formidable and compelling villain! And I can’t wait to see where this story goes next and how Mark will burn the fandom down next time!

NateMare Headcanons:
Some headcanons for my favorite nightmare boi. Tagging @egotisticalfloof bc they put up with my rambling.
-Mare was born from Nate’s nightmares, much like Dark was born from Mark’s. Like, have you seen Nate’s FNAF playthrough? Poor boy probably had nightmares for weeks.
-However, unlike Dark, Mare only deals in dreams. He’s a dream demon, which means he can influence people’s dreams/nightmares, walk through them to get to different places (IE hopping from one sleeping person to the next), and he can also put people to sleep.
-He first physically manifested in the Mangled video. I wrote a small headcanon for that here.
-After that though, Mare didn’t quite know what the hell to do so he just let Nate have control back. Nate promptly freaked out that he’d kept Mat against his will and that he has no recollection of doing so or even finishing the video.
-He’s been a fan of Mark for a while though, and remembers that Mark had been having some similar “loss of time” and “not feeling like himself” problems, so he decides to call Mark and see if he has any advice.
-To his surprise, Mark knows exactly what’s up and tells Nate to get to his house pronto.
-When he gets there, however, he’s greeted by Dark, who he thinks is Mark. Dark senses Mare’s presence and calls him out to have a little chat. Mark comes into the room to see his doppelganger talking to who he thinks is Nate until “Nate” raises his head to reveal the marks on his face.
-Mark is immediately aware that this is definitely NOT Nate.
-Dark ends up teaching Mare how to use and control his powers.
-Aside from his dream related powers, Mare can also obviously sing like an angel, though he’s more like a siren and can use his voice to not only lull people to sleep, but also make them follow him or to cause pain.
BONUS:
-When told about how Mare first manifested, Dark was like “Really? Your big entrance was a music video?”
-3D boi was v unimpressed and Mare was salty bc “hey it was cool!”
-Dark wasn’t convinced.

Just Throwing Out There
Since this is a topic on something and I'm fashionably late
Here are my thoughts on MatPat and, as a long-time fan of this game (a month or two after initial release until now), I should have a say in the disgrace that was his theory.
Here are my words:
I don't care.
While his theory is false, and I'm not going to bore you with why since EVERY OTHER FAN UNDER THE SUN can tell you why, I still respect that he... "tried". He didn't interpret things in a way that made sense, but he made an interpretation. Hell, my original interpretation of this game was that you, the knight, were going to be trapped no matter what. Not killed, just trapped in dream, your shell all that's left-
Can you blame me for making an opinion that was my own?
Especially during a time when conversation and theories were still up in the air.
Like today! Where we still don't know whether any of the infected beings that were long gone (IE, the Forgotten Crossroads after a certain milestone) would even be able to survive the ending of the most recent DLC pack from how misshapen they've become! We have no idea how the infection spreads, and don't tell me hopelessness because grubfather and probably a few other examples I'm missing. It might pick the weakest minds, but really I have no clue and there are not alot of things off the top of my head that I can pad this with.
So let's move on.
Working from just memory because it's 6 am and I shouldn't be awake much less allowed on the internet right now, MatPat goes into detail about how the Knight, your main character, is the Pale King.
To an outsider, that makes sense! The evidence he shows to someone that has never played the game seems coherent. However, to long-term fans, there isn't enough evidence at all. He skipped over the Birthplace cutscene because of time constraints as pointed out by mossbag who needs no introduction to anyone actually reading this, and doesn't dig very deep into some of the dialogue given by secret NPCs, or even all the dialogue of the ones he DOES mention. It's flawed. So is mossbag's video, but I'm too tired to remember why it irked me initially. Probably the holier-than-thou stance or something. Keep in mind, I love both of these content creators-
Now, all that aside, I want to talk about this game and why MatPat's video was integral to the more widespread success of Silksong (not really but you'll see what my mind thought of at 1 am before I passed out).
Now, this is a small game. We know that. And while it's grown in the two years it's been out, Hollow Knight is still a close-knit community that offers itself up as a friendly place to be. And yes, it's seen as toxic because of our retaliation of MatPat, but that doesn't stop me from loving this fandom and game as one entity. They're both a part of each other, if that makes sense. However, being so small, certain things become undeniably clear: We Need Some Variety. I don't know about you guys, but... personally? I'm kind of worried for my little bug game. There's a ton of art by names like half-rose and... well, you know who all draws and is seen the most. I'm out of the loop by a bit.
This is a great way to have big names in the field! Not so great when they're the only names...! And while their art is beautiful and makes me happy to see, I would love for someone else, some new blood, to draw for it. My mind goes to mnstrcndy or walkingmelonsaaa. Their art, but Hollow Knight content. Imagine that? Getting more people to enjoy something that's brought us together? A travesty.
Now, of course, it reached its peak and now it's slowly leveling out, but that stability worries me. Ready to hear an unpopular opinion? I WANT this game to get a huge fanbase. I WANT it to become run over with ocs and 12 year olds. I WANT it to grow, and flourish, into something that isn't just a bunch of people screaming at one man because his take on a complex and difficult story (that is so out of the park that I couldn't write that without laughing to myself) is incorrect. I don't want it toxic, I don't want it to be seen as a bad fandom. I want it to be a place of interest to people that may be struggling with finding their own place.
Like it was to me.
I was given a chance myself, to make a name. See where that's got me, three blogs and an eternity later? It's given me a chance to be welcomed into arms of people that didn't know me but accepted who I was anyways, only connected by the mere fact that we all like this game.
It's different today than two years ago, I get that, but it's still a desire to see more people find a place they can enjoy and love. I don't think having a small and cozy fandom is that. It only brews more problems. Kind of like if there was one family left on Earth or something. Feels wrong to me-
Point is, I'm okay with MatPat's theory, because it shows more people that haven't seen this game a multiplatform indie game that presents itself as a simple journey that has you bawling like a child when BV reaches towards you after they're defeated and ONLY when BV reaches for you. No? Just me? Okay-
And I'm okay with everyone on mossbag's side saying it had that shot after being released to Switch. It did, and not alot of people saw it.
Just the a few weeks ago, buying my first USB mouse because I have money now and am not as sheltered as I used to be, I saw a Knight and a Hornet plush in the Best Buy. That alone made my day. The fact that it existed made me happy, because now more people can learn about it! More people know what it is! It isn't left to just some obscure title, it's trying to join the likes of BATIM or FNAF, making merchandise and selling it to leave a lasting impression on more people. Except it's also better than both those previously mentioned games combined if you're asking me. Bite me, horror fans.
I think? MatPat needed to do this as well. His channel is a meme, is dying out. And who can blame that? He monetized a video about someone's death, and no I haven't let that fact go.
However, his channel, while still successful, isn't as successful as it used to be, as far as I can tell.
So, he has stirred controversy.
Whether he meant to or not, he has started something that will revitalize his channel for a short period of time. Doesn't mean it's dying or anything truly, but it gave him more than he had prior.
Smart, bold, but overall morally incorrect /s
Anywho... TL;DR stop bothering the jolly green giant of theory videos because he made an oopsie, and have a nice day.

Ok I need to talk about this. No hating me even though I know people will
Tumblr media
Ok. So. I enjoy overwatch. It is, and I feel like it can be an amazing game in the future.
BUT
There is such a problem with it and I think I'm finally becoming depressed by it. Not clinically depressed but I'm just getting tired by it. I still enjoy the game and I love the variety of Characters in the game. But it's just becoming a big pile of shit. I mean everything I say in the nicest way possible. And take it with a grain of salt.
Tumblr media
This game has by far the most toxic community that I have ever been a part of. The players in Overwatch just get too competitive, which I got used to. But its hard to get used to the fact that there are so many people who will throw matches for no reason, smurfs who just tend to ruin the game as a whole by sneaking their way into the lower ranks. And that's just the players.
Tumblr media
I'm sorry. But Jeff Kaplan is the biggest idiot I've ever seen. He's done a decent job running Overwatch so far. But what isn't doing right is communicating with his player base, the very driving force behind the game.
IDC what you say. He doesn't care what we think, or at the very least doesn't care to listen unless his sales are dropping. He has gone above and beyond to appease the fans i admit that. But thats precisely what is ruining the game itself. He does whatever it takes to make the players happy, be it changing a map in a way it never needed to be changed or by ruining a character into the ground. Look what happened to Mercy and hog at the beginning. Hog went through hell and back because of his gun and Mercy has been ripped inside and out to make players happy. But instead of that, Mercy hsd become the most ruined character alongside Brig and Doomfist, Hog only recently got put into a place where he fits into everything. And that isn't the end.
Look at Reaper. He has always needed to be fixed. Shadow Step is by far the worst ability in the game it holds no combat advantage, and now he is the most deadly hero there is thanks to the change to his passive and to Armor. Hog and Winston, as well as every other tank, is now the ultimate battery for Reaper. And you know what, Jeff won't do anything to fix his permanent Damage boost, or the uselessness of Shadow Step. Because he won't.
Tumblr media
Honestly the only person I've seen outside myself be willing to call Jeff out on his bullshit is BTC, or Blame the Controller. He is by far, the most in depth overwatch content creator on YouTube. He should be on the Dev Team doing Jeff's job in my opinion, because he seems more fit to run the game that Jeff. He brings up valid points, as well as alternative replacements for failing mechanics in the game. And guess what happens when he does. Jeff gets mad.
BTC gave so many alternate ideas for Reaper tk have a better setup. And Jeff responded with saying that his ability is meant to get him into the fight quickly and suddenly. It isn't supposed to be stealthy so stop asking.
I guarantee Jeff watched BTC and is getting upset at the idea that there are those who are more communicative with the community than he is, and have more effective ideas than he does.
To be fair this is all my own opinion. I just feel like Jeff isn't doing his job. I mean look at the lore. They are giving us toenail clippings for lore. It's been three almost four years and FNAF has a more consistent plot than Overwatch does, and FNAF is 80% theories. I've been dying to see something to do with the Swiss Base attack, or more specifically the Los Muertos. I want more lore and I see that some people could argue that the game isn't meant for lore. But you know what,
I DON'T RIGHTFULLY CARE
I am not the only one who enjoys the game for lore. I can get being the gameplay still but I mainly first entered the game for the lore and variety of story. But now it's just a big mess angry fans, ignorant developers, and such lack luster content that it's just getting old. And I think I, as well as many others are getting close to finding an alternative.
I won't be the first to admit it, but Respawn entertainment is doing MUCH better than Blizzard right now. In terms of a quality game, Titanfall 2 is by far the best game of it's year, even compared to Overwatch.
Tumblr media
They have so far managed to keep a game as old as Overwatch in better shape with minimal changes, a balanced system with it's fair share of problems (but those problems arent cram fixed like what Overwatch does), and they actually release good games consistently. Case and point, Apex: Legends.
Tumblr media
TBH, I was half expecting Overwatch or even EA to jump on the Battle Royale hype train. I was getting on a "Star Wars: Force Royale" or some other cheesey cash grab. But Respawn was a huge surprise honestly. And the shear quality of the game is astounding. I always played Fortnite over Blackout and PUBG, only because it was simpler and the art style appealed to me more. But Apex just hit all the marks. You don't need to have a mic to communicate with the Ping system; there's a decent roster of characters so far, small as it may be; the controls are smooth and there's no need of Building (thank God). And it's just an amazing game already and it's only been out for what a month?
Tumblr media
I'll be short and sum this up cause I've made this pretty damn long. The point of all this is to say that there are much better alternatives to Overwatch. I have more fun playing Titanfall 2 in the span of 3 weeks cause I bought it recently finally since I missed out when it released. It is a much better game and it has yet to die and is by far a great step in the right direction. And let's not ignore the fact that they STILL HAVE A SINGLE PLAYER MODE, UNLIKE MOST GAMES NOW WITH ANY MULTIPLAYER.
I just think OverWatch needs to step it's game up or they're gonna start losing players real fast.
This is all my own thoughts so take it how you will. Hate me, agree with me, I don't really care cause I just wanted to vent all this
